"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Isabella screamed in her truck as she stopped at a red light. Gripping the steering wheel as she shook her body back and forth.
The teen had a short but suffocating conversation with her father about her 'inappropriate' behavior towards her step sister. He had fussed about how her choice of words were disrespectful and uncalled for. Calling it a bigoted way of thinking.
Isabella could only bite her tongue as he reprimanded her. Which was commendable of her in her own opinion. Especially because his so called wife believed she had the jurisdiction to input on her actions.
Audrey had only expressed how the girls comment affected her and her family. Telling her how stereotypes like that impacted them even when they knew it wasn't true. The teen wanted to gag at her sob story.
To make things worse, Charlie had ended the talk with telling her that he was disappointed in her. Asking her to apologize to both Cimani and Taegan, especially for her behavior towards the male. She was in the wrong for throwing herself at him.
"He can't say that to me! What about me?! That deaf bitch threatened to put her hands on me and yet no one batted an eye!" She screamed as her grip on the wheel tightened. The poor traffic light was the only thing around to experience her fit.
"And how was I throwing myself at him?! We were having a conversation and that jealous bitch made it a big deal! Can I not make conversation without it being seen as more?! Nobody said I wanted him! I can't help if he finds me more attractive!"
Isabella continued to scream as she shook the wheel. It wasn't until someone honked at her that she realized the light had changed. She brushed some hair out of her face before pulling off.
The traffic light could only thank the car behind her for getting that crazy person away from it.
"Okay Isabella, it's fine. Everything will be okay, I just need to talk to Charlie privately. Explain to him what's really going on and he'll understand how right I am. Those women are manipulating him and I will save him." She ranted to herself as she neared the school. Only solidifying the thought she had when she first met everyone.
Isabella sneered at the sight of the school as she pulled into the parking lot. It was bigger than she was expecting and actually very nice from the outside. She didn't understand how the place could look better on the outside than her school in Phoenix. This small town couldn't afford such an expensive looking building just to teach high school.
And it couldn't, until one Audrey Swan came along.
She was growing and redeveloping this town brick by brick. The townsfolk couldn't be happier. Of course it wouldn't be some big city that people desperately flocked to, but it was a place people were happy to be. She even made sure to keep some of the small town charm every Forks native loved while upgrading the dreary area.
Anyways, the parking lot was filled with students. They of course turned to look at the bright orange truck that sputtered its way in. There was nothing wrong with it per se, it was just unfamiliar.
Yet, the brunette loved the attention she was already garnering. The mysterious girl coming to a small city was fated to bring attention. She couldn't help but smile as she looked for a park.
"Okay, keep it classy, keep it mindful, keep it demure. All eyes are going to be on you so don't do anything embarrassing." The girl gave herself a quick pep talk as she grabbed her things. Fixing her hair for a second before pushing the door open.
The young woman looked around shyly as she fixed the book bag hanging off her shoulder. There was murmuring around her as people talked to their friends and looked at her. Isabella shyly moved some hair behind her ear as she smiled slightly.
In reality her heart was hammering against her chest. Excitement flooded her body as she made it to the doors. She looked down at her schedule that was already printed out when Charlie enrolled her in classes.
"Why couldn't I have come on a weekday so I can tour the school?" She sucked her teeth as she furrowed her brows.
"Need some help?" A male voice interrupted her thoughts. She jumped slightly and looked up to see a kinda cute Asian boy.
"That would be so helpful, thank you. I'm Isabella." She smiled shyly as she looked down at the ground. Her lips were smiling but her eyes weren't.
"Nice to meet you Isabella. I'm Eric, the eyes and ears of this place. I know everything about anything of this place. So if you need some insight or even a shoulder to cry on~ I'm your guy."
'He's not all that cute but I can't blame him for taking an interest in me. I'll keep him around for now.' She thought to herself as she pushed some hair behind her ear.
"I'll keep that in mind but I'm kinda the suffer in silence kind of girl." She awkwardly chuckled, her eyes scanning the area to see if she's caught anyone's eye. But no one was really paying attention to her.
Why would they when there's so many people in this school already?
"I'll keep that in mind for your feature on the front page of the school newspaper." He joked with the girl as he tapped his pen to his note pad.
Isabella's eyes lit up but she didn't want to come off too strong.
"You don't want to do a feature on me. There's nothing much to me. I'm an open book." She chuckled as she waved him off modestly. She came off as both shy and friendly.
"I bet the people would love to read that book." He winked at her.
Isabella went to say something but there was a sudden commotion. She turned her head but wasn't able to see anything. When she went to ask Eric what was happening she noticed his look of discomfort.
"Cimani's here. I can't wait to see this." A girl snickered to her friend as they walked over to the growing crowd.
But based off her words alone, Isabella instantly knew it wasn't anything good. She wasn't surprised that people bullied the deaf girl and made a spectacle out of it. What did the girl expect thinking she could integrate into a normal high school?
The brunette wanted nothing to do with the girl. She'd be damned if Cimani ruined her reputation just because they shared the same last name temporarily.
"I think I'll get to class now." Isabella rushed out, leaving before the deaf girl could spot her and drag her down with her.
Isabella was now in gym class trying to avoid the flying volleyball being passed around.
All day during classes she had been hearing Cimani this or Cimani that. It made her sick to her stomach the girl occupying her house was bringing all of this negative attention. She didn't even want to reveal her last name in fear that people would associate her with the girl. So she used her stepdad's name.
The volleyball came flying towards her and she smacked it away. She wasn't athletic in the least but took pride in her naturally slim body. She knew people would kill to be as blessed as her.
The ball flew and hit a boy in the back of the head. Isabella covered her mouth in surprise as she ran up to him.
"I-I am so sorry. I told them not to let me play and look what happened!" She apologized for her blunder as she actually felt bad.
The male turned around and she was pleasantly surprised. This guy was actually pretty good looking. Not on a Taegan level but better than Eric. And when he smiled, she couldn't help but get a little shy.
"You're fine. It's Isabella right?" He smiled as he rubbed the back of his head. It didn't necessarily hurt but it did sting a little. Isabella pushed some hair behind her ear giving him a shy smile once more.
"Just Bella is fine." She replied as she hugged her arms in that same awkward position. The blonde chuckled at this.
"I'm Mike Newton." He held his hand out for a hand shake. His eyes shamelessly looking her up and down.
'As he should.' The girl thought to herself as she took his hand.
"Hey I'm Jessica, you're Isabella right? Chief Charlie's daughter? " A girl came up to them. She was smiling friendly towards the girl as she completely ignored Mike. The sleaze of male checking out his ex girlfriend.
The Swan girl groaned internally. It was only a matter of time before people started figuring out the truth. She bit her lip and pretended she had no clue what she was talking about.
"Sorry no that's not me. I mean my name is Isabella but I'm not related to the Chief or anything, sorry." She waved the girl off.
Jessica scrunched her eyebrows as she looked at the girl. Tilting her head as she looked confused.
"Aren't you from Arizona? Cimani said she had a stepsister from there that was supposed to be starting today." Jessica asked the girl as she folded her arms. Not understanding what was going on.
Isabella sucked her teeth as she started to get agitated. Why was she trying to ruin things for her? Was she really that jealous of her to want to make things hard for her at school? It wasn't fair!
"Stop harassing her Jess, she already said she doesn't know what you're talking about." Mike scoffed as she tried to put his arm around the girl. She side stepped hard to get away from him. Glaring at him for even thinking it was okay to touch her.
"Sorry but I don't know a Cimani. If you'll excuse me I'm going to go now." The pale skinned girl backed away from the pair. Not wanting to be caught up in any drama that would get her caught up with Cimani.
"Hey! You should join me at lunch." Mike yelled towards the girl. Isabella smiled awkwardly and nodded.
Things are about to get fun.
I hardly remember this movie but I know everything really started at lunch🤭
