"I can't want to spend time with my step sister?" Isabella giggled shyly when Taegan looked at her. Tucking some dry strands of hair behind her ear.

  The male looked at his little lady. The girl looked up at him and shrugged.

  "We had all of yesterday to spend time together but you stayed holed up in your room." The dark skin girl narrowed her eyes at the girl. She could guess where the sudden change came from but she rather not have to beat someone's ass at 6 in the morning.

  At least wait till after breakfast.

  "Oh that, I was just tired from the plane ride. Coming from Arizona and everything. Have you ever been Taegan? It's a wonderful place." Her attention already averting back to the male. Obviously brushing Cimani off.

  The couple frowned as they weren't dumb.

  "No and I don't ever plan on going. But you know what would be a wonderful place Emily?" The annoyed vampire mean mugged her as he looked her up and down. None of her appearance being committed to memory.

  "It's Isabella actually. But you can just call me Bella." She lightly chuckled as she became even shyer under his heated gaze. Loving the way he was soaking in her appearance.

  There was a small delusional voice in her head telling her that the male wanted her. Because how could he not?

  She was tall and skinny like a model. She had an air of mystery around her considering she's not from here. She was shy and reserved like a kitten. On top of all that she was in perfect health with no disabilities.

  "Yeah whatever Bonnie. Can you leave now, so I can enjoy a wonderful place?" He spat at her as he raised a brow. Cimani snorted at him as she smacked his chest.

  "That is not that girls name, don't be rude." The young witch chuckled when he faced her and frowned.

  "But she's ruining my breakfast." He whimpered softly as he gave her puppy eyes. He was the definition of a deprived man.

  "I can make you something to eat if you're hungry." Isabella piped in softly. Still trying to give off that shy girl look. But in reality she looked constipated. Taegan groaned at her presence still being here.

  "No Becky, I have a taste for something you sure as hell can't provide so please leave." He was starting to get frustrated.

  Taegan has always had a short temper. Luckily for everyone, not many people made him mad. Or it could be curved if you just placed Cimani in his lap.

  But if she wasn't around to calm him, I'd rather pray for a quick death.

  The girl couldn't even get a word out before her eyes glazed over with a purple hue. Like a zombie she mindlessly turned around and walked out the room. Closing the door behind her. With Taegans advanced hearing he could hear her bedroom door also shutting.

  "If she had stayed any longer Big Daddy would've been down a daughter." Taegan sucked his teeth. He pulled the beauty next to him on top of him. She sat on his chest, straddling him.

  "Good job for not killing her baby." Cimani coo'd as she smiled down at him. The moonlight seeming to give her a halo effect. Taegan sucked in a breath for his useless lungs but yet it still seemed like he couldn't breathe.

  "Do I get a reward?" He eyed her body in her pajamas. It left little to the imagination but lucky for him, he didn't have to imagine it. She was etched into every corner of his mind.

  "Of course my love~ Didn't you say you were hungry?" She batted her lashes. A seductive grin on her lips.

  Taegan nodded his head feverishly. It was to the point she thought it would snap off. She leaned down and kissed him, breaking it off before he could attempt to deepen it. A little whimper came from him as his eyes looked ready to shed tears.

  Cimani just chuckled as she shimmed her boxers off.

  'Bon appetite~'

  "It's staring at me Mommy." Taegan hugged Audrey as he attempted to hind from the households new temporary addition.

  The vampire was full of energy as usual. Catering to every single need of his beloved even if it was as simple as wiping her mouth. He was over the moon to do things for her. Being rewarded with kisses or small praises.

  But it was interrupted when a heavy odor hit his nose. He wasn't sure if he was lucky or unlucky to have such great sense of smell. Lucky because everyone else didn't have to be subjected to this torture. Unlucky because he was subjected to this torture.

  The male has been around women for centuries but this is the first time a menstrual cycle has ever made him want to drive a stake through his heart.

All blood smelled the same no matter where it was coming from on a person. And everyone had their own unique smell and taste of their blood. So he wasn't disgusted because of the type of blood it was, it just hers naturally smelled revolting to him.

And this is coming from a man that lived through a time where people didn't understand basic hygiene. The dark ages almost caused him to starve to death.

Sadly Cimani had went with Lucky to grab more eggs from the coops. Leaving the vampire with his future in laws and that other girl he couldn't remember the name of.

So when Isabella came into the kitchen he tried to move as far away as possible.

"It's okay baby, mommy will protect you. Go ahead and sit down." She patted his face as he was bent over her shoulder. And yet he still towered over the expecting mother.

He tried to beg her with his eyes not to leave him. But the woman only chuckled and kissed his forehead. Going to sit with her own husband that already loaded up her plate with her favorite morning cravings.

It may have just been food but she fell in love with him all over again.

Taegan sat down begrudgingly and started fixing a plate for his own wife. They were neither engaged more married yet but she was his fated mate so they were practically married already. And he did plan on marrying her, he just wanted everything to be perfect.

He was so focused on making the perfect portions he didn't notice who moved the chair next to him.

"Baby I—Ew, it's you." The vampire was originally excited to see the love of his life. That was quickly changed when he noticed the lack of Cimani. His mouth moving faster than his brain.

"Goodmorning Tae—You can't sit there, that's Cinnamon's seat." He once again cut the girl off from whatever she was going to say. Isabella blinked for a few seconds before giving a small smile.

"It's fine, she's not her and there's plenty of other seats." She reached for the plate he was working on. Until he smacked her hand away.

Isabella looked at him shocked before looking at the two adults that were watching amused. They were very certain Taegan and Cimani could deal with this without them. But if they needed to intervene they would.

"That's not for you. And if there are other seats why do you have to sit here? We have an order here and you're messing it up." He sneered at the girl. Although Cimani didn't care, he held a grudge against her based on everything the girl told him.

  Isabella faltered just a little from his sudden aggression. Yet she brushed it off as if it was nothing. Even giggling lightly.

Taegan looked at her then at the adult couple. Were they seeing this?

"Isabella you're being really fucking weird. You're making my boyfriend uncomfortable so can you just move over?" Cimani spoke up as she walked into the room. Her hands covering Lucky's ears as he held the basket of eggs curiously.

"You're overreacting Cimani. Can't I get to know him without you getting jealous? You can have friends, can't you?" The pale skinned girl rolled her eyes as she scooted closer to the male. He in return picked up both plates and moved to the other side of the table. Isabella felt her face heat up with embarrassment.

  "No I can't because I don't want any." He sneered finding a new seat as far away from her as he could get.

"Why get to know someone who doesn't want to know you? Especially when you're forcing yourself on him? Because I'm honestly 5 seconds away from beating your ass." Cimani twisted her face up at the girl. Still covering her brother's ears so he didn't hear the naughty words.

One thing she didn't do is play around about Taegan. She didn't always resort to violence but she stepped behind her boyfriend. Just like he would for her.

"You're so violent for no reason. How ghetto." The girl mumbled under her breath as she stabbed at her French Toast. She knew Audrey made it yet it smelled so good. Her stomach would cave in on itself if she denied it the tempting breakfast.

  "Excuse me?" The table got quiet as a chill ran through the room. The only one who was calm was Lucky. The little boy munching on strawberries as he watched Bluey on a tablet. His sister's headphones on his head.

  Lucky wasn't an iPad kid but when Isabella  thought she could say something slick, it magically appeared before him. And who was he to turn away free screen time?

  Isabella froze as she shrunk under everyone's gaze. It was like a warning light went off in her head. At least something in her head worked.

  "I apologize. That was out of line." She immediately regretted saying what she did out loud.

  The room became awkward after her apology. The air frigid with an unspoken tension. Isabella was digging a deeper hole for herself by the second. Everyone's view of her was already bad but this was worse.

  'We're gonna drop Lucky off to school.' Cimani backed up from her seat and picked up her brother. She had lost her appetite and just wanted to get her day started.

  Taegan was quick to follow her. Putting her food in a to go container so she could eat in the car.

  'Have a good day sweetheart, I'll talk to her.' Charlie signed back as he stood up. Gesturing for a hug from the girl. Cimani smiled and gave her father a hug. Soon turning to her mother and hugging her also.

  She glanced at Isabella for a second. Pursing her lips before simply leaving with her little brother and boyfriend.

  It was silent at the table for a good few seconds.

  "Isabella."
