Nyra's POV

AFTER CONSOLING Rose I left because I could smell the arousal that Rose and Damon had, which kind of traumatized me, I'm not gonna lie.

When I arrived at Gilbert's house, I found out Elena made a deal with Elijah.

Elijah sent his witches to break the tomb spell and Elena asked me if I could go make sure he kept his word.

I groaned but decided to do so anyway.

Stefan was another person I learned to care for.

On our way to the tomb, I became more acquainted with Elijah and his motives.

We ended up bonding with our siblings.

Of course, we didn't reveal their names.

He told me he had a huge family and how it was annoying that his younger brother gets into trouble and he always has to pick it up.

I laughed and told him how Allison was quite the trouble maker and I always had to cover it up.

He was actually a very nice person.

But I'm still aware that he is a danger to all of us.

Once we arrived at the tomb, the witches broke the spell which created large banging sounds that made me wince.

I stood at the entrance of the tomb with Elijah to wait for Stefan.

I heard footsteps and saw Stefan holding a lantern.

"Good evening, Katerina" Elijah said as Katherine came into view.

"Thank you for having the good sense to be frightened"

She looked at me and Elijah in confusion

I smirked at her while waving at her with my fingers.

Elijah then shifts his gaze to Stefan.

"Your release has been requested"

I internally laughed at their confused expressions.

"What? By who?" Stefan asked confused.

He shouldn't underestimate Elena's love for him.

"The lovely Elena drives a hard bargain. However, we reached a peaceful agreement. She and I" Elijah started before he moved out of the way and gestured his hand toward the exit.

I moved to the side knowing he had a plan for Katherine.

"Please... come"

Stefan looked at Elijah not trusting him.

"I can't," Stefan said.

I smiled and nodded at him.

"No worries,"

"Elijah had the spell lifted," I told them, to emphasize that it was Elijah that chose to free them.

I noticed Elijah kept glancing at Katherine, waiting for her to make an escape.

Stefan walked slowly to the entrance until he finally passed it.

Katherine watched and when it was finally confirmed the spell was broken, she quickly tried to use her vampire speed to escape but Elijah was quicker.

"As for you, however, "Elijah started before compelling Katherine.

"You shall not exit until I say so when Klaus comes, he'll want to know exactly where you are" I smiled at his words, before walking towards Stefan.

"You're free to go, Elena will explain the arrangement to you. If she keeps her word, I'll keep mine" Elijah said to Stefan before looking towards me.

"It was nice to formally meet you, miss Adnyra, I wish to continue our conversation another time, if you would like to" I smiled and nodded at him.

He smiled back at me before using his vampire speed to leave.

I slightly blushed but remembered Stefan and Katherine were there.

"Come on, Elena is going to be happy to see you," I told Stefan with a smile.

"Nyra, Stefan, No. Please, don't let him leave me here" Katherine said desperate to get away from the Originals.

"I'm sorry Kat but this is the consequence of your actions. You shouldn't have compelled me," I said to her while smirking.

She manipulated me and I really hate it when someone succeeds in doing so.

Stefan was silent for a moment before replying.

"Good-bye Katherine"

We both walked out ignoring Katherine's pleading.

"Hey, can you woosh us out of here? Elijah was my ride." I asked Stefan.

He smiled before nodding.

"When we get to my house, I'm driving out of there, because I have a feeling you and Elena are going to give each other a proper welcome," I said while laughing.

"Sounds like a plan," Stefan said while grabbing my waist.

I suddenly felt a huge gust of wind and started to feel dizzy.

It took 30 seconds to arrive at the house.

"I'm going inside to get something real quick"

He nodded and I took that as my cue to run inside the house.

I went to my room and got my drawing kit which consisted of my pencils, colored pencils, my notebook, and more.

I quickly went out of the front door.

"Thanks, good night," I told Stefan while walking towards the car.

He nodded and went inside.

I sighed and went into the driver's seat to drive to the Mystic Grill.

I'm starving, I haven't eaten anything all day.

Once I arrived at the grill, I immediately walked in and sat at a booth.

A very cute waiter went up to me.

"Hey, what would you like?"He asked me while holding a notebook and pen.

"I would like to get a cheeseburger with fries. Also, can I get some water?" I asked while smiling.

He nodded and gave me a cute smile.

"Sure thing," he said before walking to another table and picking up their plates.

I smiled and looked around.

I noticed many people were accompanied by someone.

I saw a couple who were laughing and decided to draw them.

After 20 minutes I had received my food and was slowly taking bites form my burger.

I wanted to focus on something other than the full moon. Drawing helped me calm down and gather my thoughts.

While I was wrapped up in my thoughts someone sat down across from me.

"So, what is a lovely lady like you doing all alone"

I rolled my eyes and focused back on my drawing, trying to ignore him.

"Is that how you are going to treat the person who bought your food?" The stranger said.

I finally looked back and saw that it was an extremely good-looking guy with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair.

I smirked at him.

"I didn't ask for you to do that"

He smiled and looked at my notebook.

"That's an interesting drawing, why did you choose them out of everyone here?" The guy asked.

I smiled before responding to him.

"I don't know, they were just there" I shrugged and popped a french fry in my mouth and semi-ignored him.

He seemed amused by either my actions or my answer. I wasn't entirely sure.

"Interesting," He commented.

"Not really, I'm just a normal girl indulging in her favorite hobby." I looked away from my drawing to make eye contact.

"Hmm, well you are quite talented" He pointed to my half-drawn portrait. I had finished drawing the background and sketched out the couple's figures.

"Well thank you" I timidly focused on my drawing.

"Anytime, love"

After I talked to that mysterious stranger for a couple of hours, I headed home.

When I arrived, I listened to see if anyone was awake.

Fortunately, everyone was asleep.

Thank goodness, I did not want to be there when Elena and Stefan were doing the dirty.

I quietly went upstairs and jumped on my bed.

After I woke up, I did my morning routine.

which is to brush my teeth, eat cereal, put my fake glasses on, and go on a run.

After I got back home from the run I took a shower, changed, and my parents ended up calling me that morning giving me the news that they had enrolled me in Mystic Falls High School.

I groaned but agreed.

I was finally going to graduate this year.

They updated me on the supernatural situation in Beacon Hills.

There was an alpha that was killing people, which caused Kate to return.

I told them that if they needed help with anything, whether, with the protection of Allison or the Alpha, I'll come back on the fastest plane.

I finally had the guts to tell them about my transformation, my mom was sobbing and my dad's voice was kind of shaky.

I told them how I decided to not follow through with the tradition, and that it can/will be helpful for any threat.

I explained how I finally learned to control myself, and my parents reassured me, that I made the right decision.

They didn't want my life to end quickly.

I started to cry when my parents told me how they don't see me differently.

After I said my goodbyes to them, I ran to the boarding house because I received a text from Damon saying he had something important to discuss.

Once, I arrived I slowly walked inside hearing the conversation Damon and Rose were having.

I saw that almost a couple of seconds after I arrived, Elena came down the stairs.

"How is it?" Rose asked Damon regarding the huge bite she had on her back.

"Definitely...better," Damon said slightly hesitantly.

I walked towards them to make myself known.

"Right Nyra, Elena?

Elena opened her mouth slightly trying to come up with words.

Rose turned around to hear what we thought.

"It's not that bad," I told Rose with a smile while keeping my heartbeat steady.

Damon glanced at me before looking at Elena.

"Where's Stefan?" Damon asked Elena slightly whispering.

"He left. I need you to talk to him. He's convinced that he has to find Isobel, but I think that's going to upset Elijah" Elena replied while leaning against the edge of the doorway.

"No, can't do. I'm with Stefan on this one but if you could play nurse for a little while... " Damon started but was interrupted by Rose.

"It's not necessary," She said while bringing her cup away from her lips.

"It is necessary. Elena is a do-gooder. It's in her nature, she just can't resist" Damon says as he puts his cup of blood down.

"Nyra come, you're with me," He says as he leaves the room.

I frowned but still followed him, curious about what he wanted and what was going to happen to Rose.

I felt so bad when I didn't save her in time.

Elena looked at Rose and trailed after me.

"Damon. Is she gonna die?" I questioned, which stopped him in his tracks.

"Probably. The wolf bite caused some kind of infection and it's getting worse"

"Like poison?" Elena asks curiously.

"I don't know. I'm not an expert in the field" He responds.

"I'm sorry," I said knowing he connected with her as friends.

"Death happens. We come, we go. Sooner she dies it will be better. It's gloomy as hell in here, Nyra let's go" He says while walking out of the house. His words contradicted the emotions he was emitting. He was definitely upset. You don't need super senses to put it together.

"Hey, If you need me, I'm one call away," I told Elena while hugging her.

I felt weird leaving her by herself with a vampire.

After I pulled away from the hug, Elena smiled and nodded.

"I'll call you if I need anything, now go before Damon gets mad,"
