THE COMMAND CENTER

Sam, Elena and Dean are in with Castiel in his office.

"It's unbelievable. I mean, he was fine when we left him." Sam Says

"I barely touched the guy." Dean Says

"Still shackled, no weapon. It wasn't suicide." Elena Says

"No. This was an angel kill." Castiel Says

"Okay. Well, I'm gonna say it maybe your operation's been hacked. You know, Metatron's got somebody on the inside." Dean Says

"I was sure everyone here was loyal. Finally united by a common cause." Castiel Says

"Well, that's the problem. See, you don't think anybody's lying. I think everybody's lying. It's a gift Let's do some nosin' around." Dean Says

Dean gets up and leaves and Elena follows behind him but Castiel calls Sam back.

"Sam. You have a moment?" Castiel Says

"Yeah. What?" Sam Says

"I wanted to ask you about Gadreel, the time he possessed you." Castiel Says

"It's not really something I like to—" Sam Says

"Sam, please." Castiel Says

"He didn't possess me completely -- more like we, uh... shared housing. I was still me." Sam Says

"Did you ever sense a presence?" Castiel Asks

"I don't really know what I felt. I mean, maybe that I wasn't completely alone." Sam Says

"Did you ever feel threatened?" Castiel Asks

"No. More that he... wasn't at rest, l-like he had unfinished business. Now that we know more about him, I-I'd say he felt misunderstood." Sam Says

"But not -- not a danger, not hostile." Castiel Says

"No. I was wrong, obviously. He killed Kevin." Sam leaves

CROWLEY'S SUITE

"Why do I hate you"?!" Gavin Says

"I mean, I beat you, starved you, came home drunk, beat you some more, woke up hungover, and, yeah, I beat you. In all fairness, I didn't really have any role models. My mother was a witch!" Crowley Says

"I grew up thinkin' -- knowin' I was nothin'. Less than nothin'! You worked me harder than the horse! You never let me go to school. To this day, I can't read!" Gavin Says

"It's overrated. Most of Europe couldn't read. You want to read?" He touches Gavin's forehead "Read." Crowley Says

Gavin picks up a newspaper "Some Buccaneers beat the Saints? Can this be?... I can read."

"King of Hell. Plenty of perks." Crowley Says

"So... If you're a king... that would make me... Prince?" Gavin Says

"And you say I've never given you anything. A title!" Crowley Says

"And if I was to accept you as my father, you could keep me from eternally burning in hell? No matter my sins?" Gavin Says

"You're negotiating with me?" He Chuckles "That's my boy." Crowley Says

"This might work out. For the first time in my entire life, I can see possibilities, a future... Just as soon as you take me back to my own time and I can board that ship for the new world." Gavin Says

"Uh, about that ship..." Crowley Says

"What about the ship?" Gavin Asks

"It's not important..You can tell Abaddon I'm ready for that chat." Crowley Says

WODDED AREA

Gadreel is being led to Castiel by a female angel.

"Thank you for coming. And thank you for coming alone." Castiel Says

"I've seen you through Sam Winchester's eyes, and he trusts you. You have a reputation for honor." Gadreel Says

"In some circles. As for reputations, yours precedes you." Castiel Says

"What happened in the Garden was not my doing." Gadreel Says

"I know you feel misunderstood. And you're eager to redeem yourself and maybe more." Castiel Says

"You refer to my support of Metatron's campaign to rebuild heaven?" Gadreel Says

"Your support? You've recruited for him, you've killed for him. And I know you truly believe it's for the greater good, but you've placed your faith in the wrong master." Castiel Says

"You don't know him." Gadreel Says

"I know him too well, Gadreel! I made the same mistake, and it led to the fall." Castiel Says

"Which led to my second chance." Gadreel Says

"This is about more than just you." Castiel Says

"Castiel, are you suggesting I change loyalties?" Gadreel Asks

"I'm suggesting you reclaim your original loyalty -- to the heaven and mission we were made to serve." Castiel Says

"I thought that was exactly what I was doing." Gadreel Says

"You've been deceived. And as bad as you've had it, all those centuries locked away, it will be much worse under Metatron." Castiel Says

Gadreel spots assassins coming at Castiel.
"Castiel!"

Castiel and the female angel fight the assassins. Gadreel  flees, The female angel is killed, and Castiel kills the two assassins.

COMMAND CENTER.

Dean is seated at Castiel desk, He flashes back to Magnus' house and what he said to him.

"Give me your hand. That's it." Magnus Says

Dean takes the First Blade, and the Mark of Cain glows. Flash forward to the present. He looks at the Mark.

"Drop the Blade, Dean....Dean!..." Back in the present Sam is trying to get Dean's attention. "Dean. Dean! What's wrong with you? You hear your phone?" Sam Says

"It's about time. Where the hell have you been?" Dean Asks

"I told you I'd be in touch when I'd found Abaddon. Well... I'm in touch." Crowley Says

"Where are you?" Dean Asks

"First things first. I'll give you the location of the First Blade. You three fetch it, I'll keep her in my sights, then we'll remove her from the payroll for good." Crowley Says

He looks up to Abaddon, who has been listening, They seem to be conspiring.

ST. ANTHONY'S CEMETERY

The Impala pulls up to a cemetery, all three hunters get out with shovels and flashlights. Sam and Dean are opening a coffin while Elena stands by.

"Oh! Come on, Crowley! You really, uh, uh, have to hide the Blade in a corpse?Not -- not with a corpse but in a corpse?" Sam Says

"I got to say, it's not the first place I'd look. All right, here we go." Dean Says

There's Growling in distance, Elena looks over her shoulder and searches for the noise.

"Sam, Dean Do you hear that?" Elena Asks

"I'm guessing Hellhound." Dean Says

The growling becomes louder and the hellhound jumps out the bushes.

"Go. Go!" Dean Says

They run and lock themselves behind a gate and the hellhound is growling. Inside Crowley's suite his phone rings.

"Hello?" Crowley Says

"Damn it, Crowley, the grave is guarded" Dean Says

"That's absurd." Crowley Says

"A Hellhound!" Dean Says

"No, no, no, she was collected." Crowley Says

"The hell she was!" Dean Says

"Guys!" Sam & Elena Says

"Time was, no one would dare disobey the king." Crowley Says

"Guys!" Elena Says As She & Sam struggle holding the gate

"I'm gonna put you on speaker!" Dean Says

"Juliet? It's papa. Stand down." Juliet does and runs away "You're welcome." Crowley hangs up

Dean, Elena and Sam walks back over to the open grave. He takes out a knife and cuts open the dead corpse.

"All right. Goin' in." Dean Says

"Hey, you know what? Maybe, uh... Maybe I should do this." Sam Says

"Sam, it's fine. I -- I-I can safely grab it without...you know..." Sam reaches into the corpse and retrieves the First Blade. "Well, let's go kill a knight of hell, huh?" Dean Says

"Yeah." Sam Says

"Bur first I'd wash that hand if I were you." Elena Says

CROWLEY'S SUITE

"What're you talking about? Of course I'm boardin' the ship when I go back! I want to go back to my life!" Gavin Says

"It's not a good idea." Crowley Says

"I'm going to the colonies. I'm workin' my way across. I've given my word!" Gavin Says

"Gavin, listen to your father. I know what's..." Gavin slams the door to the bedroom"...Best for you. Kids."
His phone rings and answers it "Squirrel. I hope you were nice to your father." Crowley Says

"What? Shut up. Look, we got the Blade." Dean Says

"You do? Well, you need to get it here at once. Cleveland, Humboldt Hotel. Penthouse, of course. When you get here, I'll take you to Abaddon. I'll draw her out, and then you can skewer the ignorant hag." Abaddon and Katherine are listening in "Just selling it." Crowley Says

"Should we trust him?" Katherine Asks

"Oh Kathy don't worry." She caress Katherine's chin "I always have a plan, now when Elena gets here I want you to take care of her this time and I want you to end her...permanently." Abaddon Says

"I will my queen." Katherine Says

"No Mistakes this time." Abaddon Says As Katherine nods

"All right, we're on our way." Dean Says

Oh, and, Dean, you need to get a move on. It's a good day's drive from Poughkeepsie." Crowley Says

"What are you talking about? We're not even near there." Dean Says

"Yeah, like I said, you need to leave Poughkeepsie right away." Crowley Says As They hang up

"So, we good?" Sam Asks

"Yeah." Dean Says

"Nice. But here's the thing -- you've been plotting with those boys for some time now. When they get here, it'll be you, Elena, the winchesters, the First Blade, and little, old me in one place. Now, I don't mind stiff odds, but ...let's be reasonable." Abaddon shoots Crowley

"Aah! You lost your mind?!" Crowley Says

"Little trick I learned from Henry Winchester. the same stunt on me. I had a devil's trap carved in the bullet. You're not seriously damaged, just...powerless." Abaddon Says

SLUM

Gadreel is trying to explain to Castiel that he had nothing to do with assassins attack.

"I had nothing to do with it. I never would have agreed to meet if I thought concealed assassins were going to try and attack you. I hope you know that." Gadreel Says

"Why are you telling me this?" Castiel Asks

"Even though you and I are on opposite sides in this situation, I believe there must be honor, even in matters of war." Gadreel Says

"But what happened -- doesn't it prove my point about Metatron? You met with me in good faith, but he lied, and he used you to get at me." Castiel Says

"Castiel—" Gadreel Says

"Just as poor judgement undid you all those centuries ago, your mistaken trust in Metatron will bring you down again." Castiel Says

"I gave him my word. Do you expect me to come make war on him?" Gadreel Says

"No. Not at all. I want you to stay right where you are. Just give me reports on what Metatron is planning and when he will strike." Castiel Says

"And the honor we were speaking of?" Gadreel Asks

"Obviously, Metatron has someone inside my camp. It's how he knew we were meeting. Just fighting fire with fire. Consider my offer." Castiel Says

HUMBOLDT HOTEL

The Impala is coming to a stop near the Humboldt Hotel. Sam, Elena and Dean get out of the car. Sam has the blade in his hand.

"All right. Let's do this." Sam Says

"Wait, wait, wait. Hold on a sec. We should give this place a once-over before we go up there." Dean Says

"Okay why?" Elena Asks

"Crowley said he thought he saw some demons headed down to the basement. He'd have checked it out himself, but if word got back to Abaddon that he'd been seen..." Dean Says

"When did he say all this?" Sam Asks

"On the phone. Look, it might mean that she knows that he's here, okay? So why don't you and Elena check out the basement. I'll, uh, take a look on the main floor." Dean Says

He takes the First Blade from Sam and they separate. Sam and Elena enters the hotel basement, they give each other looks before heading off in different directions. Elena turns a corner and see's someone walking down a hall, she follows them.

"Hey! Where'd you go?" Elena Says

Elena turns around and Katherine stands behind her, carrying a blunt object.

"Long time no see princess." Katherine Says

She headbutts Elena over the head and she falls to the ground, a few moments later Katherine tosses Elena into a door hard and Elena tries crawling away.

"What are you doing?" Elena Asks

"Would you believe I'm having a really bad year." Katherine drags Elena by the hair and Elena breaks free

"No No No they exorcised you..how are you—" Elena Asks

"Back in this beautiful yet better looking body, thanks to Abaddon of course she hooked me up thanks to your mommy dearest spells." Katherine Says

"My Mothers book give it back!" Elena Says

"You see Elena every time you ask for me to give something back to you the answer will always be no." Katherine Says

Katherine lunges towards Elena and the both of them throw a few blows at one another. Katherine slams Elena against the wall and holds her heel over her throat.

"You see I had it great you know I was free at last from my prison back in hell, Abaddon freed me and put me into you. Every thing was fine minus all your wining and complaining due to you being alive and all."

"She could have kept me dead!" Elena Says

"I agree the world would be so much better if you were dead." Katherine Says

Elena gets annoyed and uses her telekinesis to get Katherine off her and throws her through a glass window, Elena gets up and fights Katherine again.
She gets the upper hand on her but she begins gasping for air, Katherine makes a hand gesture closing her fist as Elena begins crawling out into the hallway.

"You see Elena It's not like I wanted to be your doppelgänger hell if me being alive means I have to share a connection with you so be it." She picks Elena up and smashes her head into a glass window, she breaks a broom stick off "..But I made a promise to someone and I plan on keeping it." Katherine Says

Elena's face is bloody and beaten and has shards of glass in her hair, Katherine stabs her with the broom and Elena groans out in pain then gets kicked in the face by Katherine.

Meanwhile Shortly Dean enters the suite, he looks over to see Crowley who's bleeding from his gunshot wound.

"Hello, Dean. Love the crazy bloodlust in your eyes. Let's not waste time. I'll take you to Abaddon. It's not far." Crowley Says

He looks to the side where a demon comes at Dean from, He quickly kills the demon only to be pinned to the wall and Abaddon enters.

"A boy and his Blade. And still no match for the new queen." Abaddon Says

Brief shot of Sam in the basement of the hotel, he overhears commotion coming from the back. Katherine straddles Elena and begins choking her, Elena's face turns red as Katherine smiles sinisterly as she gasps for every little breath she can get. All of sudden Elena's eyes turn red and Katherine's eyes widen, she pulls Katherine's grip off her and chants a spell.

"IGNALUSA!" Elena Chants

Elena screams as a big bright red light forms in the room and Katherine shields her eyes, Sam sees this and shields his eyes too. Katherine soon disappears and Elena breathes in and out from exhaustion and Sam runs over to her.

"Elena! Lena! you okay?" Sam Asks

"No No not really." She pulls out a piece of glass from her leg "Ah!" Elena Says

"Come on we gotta go." Sam Says

"She's back Sam, Katherine's back." Elena Says As Sam looks at her

Back in hotel suite Abaddon still has Dean pinned to the wall as he struggles to break free.

"So, first... You'll die... Painfully. And then Crowley will watch his son die -- ditto -- and then the king himself. And Blade destroyed that's quite a to-do list." Abaddon Says

The Mark of Cain burning brightly, Dean struggles to get free of Abaddon's hold. When he does, he struggles to get to her, as if walking against a strong wind. Abaddon struggles to keep Dean away, eventually managing to pin him to the wall again, laughing as he drops the First Blade.

Dean concentrates on the First Blade and it begins to move to Abaddon's concern. Finally, the First Blade flies into Dean's hand and he comes down off the wall. As Sam and Elena enters the room, Dean advances on Abaddon who attempts to use her powers on him to no avail.

Finally Dean reaches Abaddon and stabs her in the stomach with the First Blade, lifting her off of the ground. Abaddon screams as red energy bursts through her body, killing her. Influenced by the Mark, Dean stabs Abaddon several times more as Sam and Elena watch on.

"Dean!" Sam Says

"Dean! Dean! Stop! You can stop." Elena Says

Dean finally drops the bloody Blade and stares at it and his hands in shock as Sam, Elena and Crowley do the same. Crowley is now removing the bullet from his shoulder with a large knife.

"You could at least -- aah! -- help me with this." Crowley Says

"We didn't kill you, Crowley, even though it would've been very easy. Isn't that enough?" Sam Says

"You owe me. Do I get no credit for warning you this was a trap?" Crowley Says

"Yeah and you could have warned us about Katherine." Elena Says

"What?" Dean Says

"Yeah the Bitch is back from hell again." Elena Says

"What Poughkeepsie" ring a bell?" Sam and Dean exchange looks, he chuckles "I sense drama." Crowley Says

"I just still can't get over the fact that Crowley has a son..How's he doing, by the way?" Dean Asks

Crowley groans as he gets the bullet out "Ow!
How do you think?"

"You get that he's got to go back, right? To his own time?" Elena Says

"If the lad goes back, his destiny is to board a ship bound for America. That ship went down in a storm. All hands were lost. He had one chance in this world to change his life. You want that to all end in tragedy?" Crowley Says

"Well, I don't know what to tell you. Them's the rules. He goes back." Dean Says

"The lore all says the same thing -- you change any one thing in the past, the ripple effect impacts everything that follows." Sam Says

"Please. No one bends the rules like you two bend the rules. He's one misfit kid. He impacts no one." Crowley Says

"You don't bend that rule, okay? You don't. We'll take him back to the bunker, figure out the spell. That's the way it's got to be." Sam Says

"Can I at least say goodbye? I'll cheer the day when the last trace of humanity leaves me. Feelings." Crowley Says

He enters the bedroom where Gavin is waiting. After a moment Crowley magically closes the doors. Sam and Dean open the door to find the room empty.

"Damn it, Crowley!" Dean Says

FIELD

Crowley finally explains everything to Gavin.

"The ship went down? Well, that's a good fit with the rest of my life." Gavin Says

"Mustn't snivel, Gavin. It might fit the old life. This one could be different." Crowley Says

"I don't know the first thing about the 21st Century!" Gavin Says

"You'll be fine. Just avoid cheap whiskey and cheap hookers. Look at me, getting all fatherly." Crowley Says

"So this is goodbye, then?" Gavin Says

"Yes. Forever. Unless, of course, I catch you smoking, in which case, I'll smack you stupid." Crowley Says

"Goodbye, then. And thank you...father." Gavin Says
And goes in for the hug, but Crowley stops him

"Whoa, whoa. Easy, easy. As you were. Goodbye, Gavin. Oh, uh... Don't go mentioning that whole "Prince of Hell" thing. Doesn't play too well in most circles." Crowley Says

ROAD

Sam, Elena Dean are in the Impala, Deans driving and Sam looks over at Elena who's icing her forehead which has stitches.

"How's your forehead Elena?" Sam Asks

"Could be better, thanks for the stitches Sammy." Elena Says

"Mhm." Sam Says

Sam looks over at Dean and he shakes his head, Dean looks at both of them and sighs.

"I didn't tell you about the warning because I knew exactly what you would do. You would make sure that you were right alongside me going in that room." Dean Says

"You mean like we always do? Because we're actually partners in this and we watch each other's backs?" Sam Says

"I don't expect you two to understand." Dean Says

"Try us." Elena Says

"First time I touched that Blade...I knew. I knew that I wouldn't be stopped. I knew I would take down Abaddon and anything else if I had to. And it wasn't a hero thing. You know, it wasn't... It was just calm. I knew. And I had to go it alone, guys." Dean Says

"Oh. Of course. So it was just another time where you had to protect me." Sam Says

"You both could've gotten nabbed by Abaddon, and she could've bargained her way out. We couldn't afford to screw this up." Dean Says

"Look...I'm glad it worked out, okay? I am. And I'm glad the Blade gives you strength or calm or whatever, but, Dean, I got to say... I'm starting to think the Blade is doing something else, too." Sam Says

"Yeah? Like what?" Dean Says

"I don't know..Like, something to you. Look... I'm thinking until we know for sure that we're gonna kill off Crowley, why don't we store the Blade somewhere distant? Lock it up somewhere safe? Okay?" Sam Says

"No." Dean Says
