STREET

Eliot and Dean are in a parked car on the street near the alley where Dean and Chronos appeared in 1944. Chronos is sitting in a diner with a cup of coffee.

"That's him." Dean Says

"Kind of puny for a God." Eliot Says

Eliot drinks from a flask, He then holds the flask out to Dean, who doesn't take it.

"Thought you were, uh – thought you were Mr. Boy Scout." Dean Says

"Why do you think I went after Capone in the first place? The guy had the best hooch in Chicago." Eliot Says

He puts the flask back in his jacket pocket, but immediately takes it out again.

"So, now, w-who died in your life and made you a hunter?" Dean Asks

"Who died? Nobody died, you morbid son of a bitch. I started doing this 'cause vampires were turning folks in Cleveland." Eliot Says

"And you got the bug." Dean Says

"That's when I got the bug." He drinks from his flask again. "Sometimes you just want to punch through the red tape with a silver bullet. Yeah, hunting sets me free. Isn't that why you hunt?" Eliot Says

"I used to do it 'cause that's what my family did." Dean Says

"Hmm." Eliot Says

"But they just seem to keep dying. To tell you the truth, I don't know why I'm doing much of anything anymore." Dean Says

"Boo-hoo. Cry me a river, ya nancy. Tell me, are all hunters as soft as you in the future? Everybody loses everybody. And then one day, boom. your number's up, but at least you're making a difference. So enjoy it while it lasts, kid, 'cause hunting's the only clarity you're gonna find in this life and that makes you luckier than most." Eliot Says

A Young woman with long blonde hair leaves the diner and walks past Eliot's car.

"Hello, nurse." Eliot Says As The Young woman walks down an alley.

"Hey." Dean Says

Chronos leaves the diner and follows the young woman. Eliot and Dean get out the car, Eliot opens the trunk, which contains many weapons.

"Sweet merciful awesome." Dean Says

Eliot hands Dean a shotgun, Chronos is gaining on the young woman. Eliot and Dean run after them and raise their guns. Chronos grabs the woman's arm and turns her to face him and They kiss. Dean and Eliot look at each other in confusion.

Clouds move across a full moon. Eliot is talking to someone in a small truck loaded with hay bales, as Dean looks on from the car. They appear to be in a rural area, Eliot walks back to the car. A house is visible across a field. He talks to Dean through the open car window.

"Well, everything's coming up us, kid." Eliot Says

"Talk to me." Dean Says

"I am. The owner of the house, Miss Lila Taylor, age 20, lives alone. Take the car, head back to Ezra, see what she's got. I'm gonna stay here and keep my peepers on the Sheik and the Sheba." Eliot Says

Dean hands Eliot his rifle, then drives away. Eliot walks towards the house.

TAILOR'S SHOP

A stake fashioned from a branch is lying on the table. The pointed end is red.

"That's it?" Dean Asks

"That is a 1,000-year-old olive carved by vestal virgins and dipped in the blood of – you don't want to know. Pulling this together wasn't easy. You and Ness both owe me, smoothie." Ezra Says

"You can have whatever you want..." He picks up the stake. "Soon as we gank this thing." Dean Says

"Yeah, yeah. Take your twig, wise guy." Ezra Says

"Well, now, how's it work?" Dean Asks

Ezra walks over to Dean and indicates the pointed end of the stake. "You stick this end in his heart. Miss, he has you for supper. Make sense?"

"Wait, if I – if I kill Chronos... I'm stuck here." Dean Says

"You just now realized? Oh, come on. 1944 ain't so bad." Ezra Says

"Yeah, I could head over to Europe, punch Hitler in the neck." Dean Says

"Oh, there's lots of ways to pass the time, sugar." She puts her hands on Dean's lapels and draws him in for a kiss he pulls away quickly. "That's for luck." She smooths her thumb over Dean's lips. "Cause I'm lucky." Ezra Says

"Okay....Thanks." Dean Says

Dean turns away and wipes his lips, He sees three addressed envelopes, picks them up and smiles.

"Back to the Future III."He turns back to Ezra.
"I need to borrow some paper." Dean Says

LILA'S HOUSE

Eliot is behind a car parked in front of Lila's house.

"Mr. Ness, I presume?"Hegrabs onto the rifle that Eliot is holding and shoves it in his face. "You know, I stopped by the police station to take care of that hunter who rode me here. I heard you took him out of jail. I thought I might see you again." Chronos Says

Eliot headbutts Chronos, They struggle and Chronos takes the rifle. Eliot punches Chronos in the face twice. Chronos punches Eliot twice. The second punch sends Eliot crashing through the door of a shed, where he lies unmoving.

"Ethan?"She comes out of the house and stands on the porch. She is holding a bag. "There you are. Can't take the trash out without the trash, silly." Lila Says

"Sorry, honey. I don't know where I left my head. Be right there."Chronos Says

Lila sets the trash down on the porch and goes back inside. Chronos turns back to the shed, Eliot is no longer there.

Someone is adjusting a grandfather clock, and that it is Lila.

"Sweetie, I want you to pack a bag." Chronos Says

"Excuse me?" Lila Says

"Well, you're always asking me where I go. Come with me tonight." Chronos Says

"Is...is everything okay?" Lila Asks

"Yeah, everything's perfect. You're perfect. I just need you to pack a bag and I'll explain why on the way, okay." Chronos Says

"But the diner –" Lila Says

"Forget about them!, We'll call them tomorrow okay? Just go. Pack." Chronos Says

HOUSE

Dean drives up and parks outside the house that in the present day Sam, Elena and Jody are staying in. Lights are on. Dean chuckles and drums his hands on the steering wheel.

"Jackpot." Dean Says

Dean walks up to the front door, An Old man is reading a newspaper inside and listening to the radio. Dean knocks.

"Can I help you, son?" He Says

"Yes, sir. I am, uh, Special Agent Costner with the, uh..." He holds out his FBI ID."...Department of Homeland Termite Invasion." Dean Says

"Termites?" He Says

"Yes, sir. There's been an outbreak all over this area, and I just want to do an inspection, make sure that the, uh, perimeter's secure." Dean Says

"Yes. Yes, of course. Um, you'd better come in." He Says

"Okay." Dean Says

He walks up the stairs as the Old Man looks on. Dean turns a light on in a bedroom and moves the bed away from the wall. He puts a pillow from the bed on the floor next to the wall and lies down. The Old Man comes into the room.

"Is everything okay up here?" He Asks

Dean leans up on an elbow. "What?! Oh, yeah – no! No, no. Not to worry, because I'm going to install something that will protect this house forever."

The Old Man nods, Dean gives him a thumbs-up. The Man leaves the room and Dean lies back down. He looks up and then to his right, and sees the bottom of a door frame on the other side of the room. He gets up, walks over to the door frame, and takes out his switchknife.

"Yeah." Dean Says

ABANDONED HOUSE

Jody enters carrying a bag of food and coffee. She sees Sam with his head down at the table, Elena is reading a book.

"You are toast." Sam raises his head. "Elena and I will keep pushing, you go get some shut-eye." Jody Says

"Uh, that's okay. I can, uh..." Sam takes a coffee and Jody immediately takes it back from him.

"Do I have to use my mom voice?" Jody Says

Upstairs, Sam crashes face down on his bedroll with his eyes closed. He puts his hands under the bedroll to use as a pillow and moves his head several times to get comfortable. The base of the door frame on the other side of the room. Sam turns his head towards the wall next to him, then suddenly snaps his head around to look at the other side of the room. "SAM" is written at the base of the door frame. He turns on a portable lamp, takes it across the room and uses his knife to break away the piece of the frame on which his name is written. Behind it is a piece of paper, which he unfolds and reads.

Sam hurries down the stairs, Jody gets up from the table.

"Sam." Elena Says

"All right, You asked for it young man –" Sam holds out the piece of paper, Elena stands as Jody takes it and reads what is written aloud. "Sammy, turns out Snider is Chronos." Wait, this is from Dean? How –"

"Just read!" Sam Says

"I rode him to 1944, am working with Eliot Ness – yes, that one."Jody looks up at Sam as he smiles.
"Tracked down Chronos. He's banging some chick named Lila Taylor, and we got a weapon. We're going after him. Take care of yourself, Sam and Elena." Jody Says

"Look at the top." Sam Says

"November 5, '44." Jody Says

"So, now we know the exact date Dean had hands on Chronos—" Sam Says

"So All we need is the exact time." Elena Says

"Which we get how?" Jody Asks

"Hoping..we ask someone who was there." Sam Says

Elena looks at the letter and at the name "Lila Taylor" in the letter.

RETIREMENT HOME

An older woman is standing, holding a TV remote. Jody puts a hand on her shoulder.

"Miss Lila Taylor?" Jody Says

"Oh, can you get "The Sullivan Show"? I want to watch that Frankie Valli." Lila Says

"Um, actually..." She holds up her badge. "We're with the police." Jody Says

"Oh. Is Michael in trouble again?" Lila Asks

Lila turns and starts when she sees Sam and Elena, She sits down on a couch. Jody, Elena and Sam sit on footrests nearby.

"I told him not to read those comic books." Lila Says

"Uh, no, no, no, no. He's, uh – he's fine. We'd wanted to ask you some questions about this man." Jody Says

Jody gives Lila an old newspaper photograph of Chronos.

"Ethan. That's Ethan." Lila Says

"Do you remember the last time you saw Ethan?" Elena Asks

"Of course. November 1944 – the night the clocks stopped." Lila Says

"Th-the clocks stopped?" Sam Says

"11:34. Every clock in the house." Lila Says

"Ma'am, can you tell us anything else you remember?" Sam Asks

"Ethan... said awful things..and then... and then he strangled that poor man." Lila Says

"What poor man?" Elena Asks

"Two policemen came to arrest Ethan." Lila Says

Sam holds up an ID card with a picture of Dean. "Ma'am, was this one of them?"

"Ethan choked the life out of that man." Lila Says

LILA TAYLOR'S HOUSE

Dean is walking towards the house carrying a shotgun, then breaks into a jog. He stands behind the car parked in front of the house.

"Ness! Ness!" Dean Says

He sees the shed with the broken door. He shines a flashlight inside and sees broken glass and splintered wood. Dean walks quietly up the stairs to the house and tries the front door. He puts his gun in his coat.

Dean picks the lock and enters. He walks into the sitting room and sees light and movement in the gap under a closed door. As he is reaching for his gun, Chronos tackles him and they crash to the floor. They get to their feet, Dean punches Chronos and he punches Dean, sending him sprawling into a chair. Chronos prepares to hit Dean again.

"Ethan!" Lila Says

Chronos turns, Eliot is holding Lila from behind and pointing a gun at her stomach.

"Let's talk." Eliot Says

ABANDONED HOUSE

Sam, Elena and Jody enter and set items for a spell on the table: bowl, candles, matches. Sam takes an hourglass out of a paper bag and puts it in the bowl.

"Here, break this." Sam Says

Elena covers the hourglass with cloth and smashes it with her gun.

LILA TAYLOR'S HOUSE

"Please don't hurt her." Chronos Says

"Ethan, what's happening?" Lila Asks

"Yeah, Ethan. What the hell?" Dean Says

"Lila, I'm sorry, but, you just – everything I said to you is true –" Chronos Says

"Oh, he might have left out a few details. He tell you he's a monster who jumps through time?" Dean Says

"I'm a God! Look, I'm not a monster. Listen. I'm the opposite." Chronos Says

"Well, don't forget to tell her about all the people you murdered along the way, boy scout." Eliot Says

"What?" Lila Says

"It's not like that. I do it for you, Lila." Chronos Says

"I don't understand." Lila Says

ABANDONED HOUSE

Sam unfolds a piece of paper and sets it on the table. Jody and Elena empties ingredients from plastic bags into the bowl. Sam slices his left palm with a knife and writes "11:34" with his blood on a piece of paper, which he then puts in the bowl.

LILA TAYLOR'S HOUSE

The grandfather clock reads 11:32.

"Well, he's not as strong as he used to be. Isn't that right, Ethan? Now you got to suck people dry. Wild guess – it takes three kills to juice you up." Dean Says

"Sacrifices. Three sacrifices, and I can control when and where I land. But once I get there, it's never for long before I'm tossed through time again. That's my life, Lila. And all I want is to get back here." Chronos Says

"Because you just love the clean Canton air?" Eliot Says

"Because I love her! Because I lived the worst existence you can imagine, and then I found you." Chronos Says

"After you killed Tyler Crosby and Cathy Porter? Lila here was gonna be victim number three. Am I right? Don't act like you never killed a soul before you met her, pal. Something tells me you used to kill three saps just for a change of scenery." Eliot Says

"Yes, I did." He steps towards Lila and Eliot.

"Back down." Eliot Says

"I-I used to wander, but now I have you." Eliot Says

"I knew Cathy, She used to come into the diner every day." Lila Says

Behind Chronos, Dean takes something out of his back pocket.

"Lila, please." Chronos Says

"You are a monster." Lila Says

"No, Lila, please!" Chronos Says

Dean prepares to stab Chronos, But he sees Lila's eyes move to Dean and turns to grapple with him. Chronos breaks Dean's hold on the stake and it falls to the floor. Eliot shoots Chronos twice in the back, but this doesn't stop Chronos from gripping Dean by the throat.

ABANDONED HOUSE

"O khrone parakaloumen se thespizein..." Jody strikes a match and lights the piece of paper with "11:34" written on it."...hemin khronon ton mellonta.

Sam chants a spell then Flames rise from the bowl.

LILA TAYLOR'S HOUSE

A red light glows in Chronos chest, Eliot looks at the stake on the floor.

"No!" Chronos Says

He grabs Dean from behind with an arm around his neck. The grandfather clock strikes 11:34. Eliot picks up the stake and prepares to throw it to Dean.

"Hey, Untouchable!" Eliot Says

Eliot throws the stake and Dean catches it, There is an explosion of red and white light. When it fades, Chronos and Dean are gone.

ABANDONED HOUSE

The room is lit with red light, There is a crashing sound. Chronos and Dean appears and fall to the floor, the stake slides across the floor.

"Dean!" Elena Says

Elena and Jody runs over to Dean, Chronos stands up.

"Hey!" Sam Says

Chronos turns towards Sam, blocks his punch and sends Sam sprawling.

"No!" He looks over to Dean, who is still on the floor, with Elena and Jody behind him supporting his head
"You! Destroyed everything!"

"Hey, Chronos?!" He turns towards Sam and he stabs him in the chest with the stake. "Was that the best you got?"

White light pulses in Chronos chest and flickers up his neck, Chronos drops to his knees and He looks up at Sam.

"You want to know your future? I know your future, It's covered in thick black ooze." Dean looks over his head to Sam. "It's everywhere, they're everywhere."
he laughs. "Enjoy oblivion."

Chronos falls dead, Dean, Elena and Sam looks at each other, then Dean drops his head down.

BEDROOM

Later on, Elena is alone in a room she sits on a table getting lost in her thoughts. She has flashbacks to when Bobby got shot, then him dying.

"Elena..Elena Elena!." Dean Says

She looks up at him. "Yeah."

"I was looking for you, Um got some takeout." Dean Says

"Thanks but I'm not hungry." Elena Says

"You not hungry, that's surprising." Dean Says

"Yea...so how did it feel to be in the 1940's?" Elena Asks

"Not...what I expected but it was cool for the time being." Dean Says

"I bet it was." Elena Says

"I'm glad I got out of there tho, couldn't be away from you and Sam for that long." Dean Says

"Hm." Elena Says

Elena and Dean sit in silence for moment, He sighs and looks at her.

"Alright what's on your mind?" Dean Asks

"There's nothing on my mind-" Elena Says

"Come on Lena, don't do that to me." Dean Says

"Do what?" Elena Says

"That, this thing you've been doing for weeks now." Dean Says

"You wanna be specific." Elena Says

"Your shutting me out." She scoffs. "Look you don't have to push me away okay..because believe me I'm trying to be there for you and your making it hard." Dean Says

"I'm making it hard for you." Elena Says

"Yes!" Dean Says

"Oh I'm sorry Dean, excuse me for feeling sad lately...oh yeah that's right because my father died." Elena Says

"Hey you didn't just lose Bobby all right, Sam Did, I did hell he was like a father to us." Dean Says

"And he was my actual father." Elena Says

Dean scoffs. "Wow...you just had to say that, so you think just because Bobby died that everyone else isn't entitled to feel the way the want to."

"I never said that." Elena Says

"Please." Dean Says

"Dean you wanna cry about my fathers death go ahead." Elena Says

"Look Elena I get it that your grieving and everyone else grieves different." Dean Says

"Yeah I know." Elena Says

"All I wanna do if look after you okay." Dean Says

"Oh god stop it, every since that night I tried to kill myself you've been breathing down my neck." Elena Says

"Um that's because you scared all of us, you hurt a couple took their car and killed a leviathan for answers." Dean Says

"It was in the heat of the moment." Elena Says

"So trying to kill yourself...what that was a heat of the moment type thing as well?" Dean Asks

"No!, I did because I was sad I'm not just talking my puppy died sad I'm talking pure emptiness. Dean I was there I remember how you felt when John died and how you bottled up your emotions—" Elena Says

"And that's exactly what your doing Lena, look just talk to me about it that's what I'm here for." Dean Says

"Dean please." Elena Says

"Elena Talk to me god damn it!" Dean Says

"Stop it, Stop it Stop it! you are not helping okay your not...in way your making worse. I'm standing here listening to you yelling at me to open up and talk and to be honest with you I don't know what to think or say, all I wanna do is scream because I'm scared and sad and I'm alone, your standing there talking to me and yelling but I am alone!, and it is terrifying and the more you keep egging me on to talk about my fathers death I get more and more angry Dean." Elena Says crying

"Elena I-" Dean Says

"Shut Up!, Can you please just leave me alone." Elena Says

"That's what you want you me to leave you alone, especially when your like this." Dean Says

"Yes...I Just want to be left the hell alone!" Elena Says

"Really...is that what you want..so your saying you don't want this anymore?" Dean Asks

"I just can't right now Dean." Elena Says

"So what that's it...." Elena Doesn't say anything, Dean scoffs he opens the door and looks back at Elena, She looks the other way and Dean slams the door, tears run down Elena face.
