PUMPKIN HOUSE

Dean picks the lock and Sam opens the door; they both enter.

"Well who knows, maybe you'll find your fairy godmother?" Dean Says As Sam looks annoyed and Dean and Elena smirks.

They split up and begin to search the house. They hear a noise and both draw their guns. Elena closes the front door. They continue to search.

At another noise, Dean motions for Sam an Elena to head toward it Dean follows.

"Help I'm in here!" A Woman Says

"Hey! Hey." Sam Says He Sees A teenage Girl is handcuffed to the oven.

"It's okay. We're here, we're here. We got you." Elena Says As Sam opens his lock pick kit.

"You have to help me. She's a lunatic." The Girl Says

"What happened?" Dean Asks

"My step mom, she just freaked out, screamed at me, beat me. Chained me up." The Girl Says

"Where is she now?" Sam Asks

"I don't know." The Girl Says As Dean looks through the kitchen door and spots the little dark-haired girl peeking out.

"Guys" Dean Says As Sam and Elena looks up and sees her as well. The little girl turns away. Dean follows her. He walks through the house to the entryway and sees the little girl standing in the living room. She walks out of sight.

Dean enters the living room, looks around, but the girl is gone. Dean pauses, then turns around. The little girl has reappeared.

"Who are you?" Dean Asks, The little girl is silent. She flickers and vanishes. He is surprised, looks down at a red apple on the rug. He picks up the apple, frustrated.

STREET

Dean sits on the hood of the Impala, playing with the apple. Sam and Elena approaches.

"Paramedics picked up Cinderella." Elena Says

"That's good." Dean says

"Yeah." Sam Says As Dean tosses the apple to Sam.

"So... Little girl, shiny red apple. I'm guessing that means something to you, fairy tale boy?" Dean Says

"I think it's Snow White." Sam Says

"Snow White? Ah I saw that movie. Or the porn version anyway, 'cause there was this wicked Stepmother? Woo, she was wicked." Dean Says

"There is a wicked Stepmother. And she tries to kill Snow White with a poison apple." Sam Says

"But the apple doesn't actually kill the girl, right?" Dean Asks

"No. Puts her into a deep sleep, so deep it's almost like she's dead." Elena Says Then Sam tosses the apple back to Dean. They all get into the Impala.

HOSPITAL

"No, sorry. We don't have any comatose little girls." The Nurse Says

"You sure?" Sam Asks

"Totally. It's mostly old guys. And, well... Callie. She's been around since before I started here." The Nurse Says

"Callie?" Dean Says

"Yeah, it's so sad. And poor Dr. Garrison, he just ... won't give up on her." The Nurse Says

"Is Callie one of his patients?" Elena Asks

"No. His daughter." The Nurse Says

CALLIE'S HOSPITAL ROOM

Dr.Garrison sits at Callie's bedside, glasses perched on his nose, reading to her from The Complete Works and Tales of The Brothers Grimm. Callie is a young adult woman, with long, straight dark hair, lying completely motionlessly on the bed with monitoring equipment.

"Ah, here we are. "'Just press the latch,' called out the Grandmother. 'I'm too weak to get up.'" Dr.Garrison Says

SUPERMARKET PARKING LOT

A Grandmother holds two full grocery bags in her arms, crossing the lot and heading toward her car.

"The Wolf pressed the latch, and the door opened. He stepped inside, went straight to the Grandmother, and ate her up." Dr.Garrison Says

The Grandmother opens the door with her remote key when a tall, dark Man appears, catching a falling bag.

"Oh! Thank you so much." The Grandmother Says
As The Man puts the bag on the back seat and smiles at the Her . The Grandmother puts the other bag on the seat. The Man shoves her in the van and attacks her, hitting and punching wildly. His Wile E. Coyote tattoo flashes on his arm.

The little girl in white watches from a distance. After another blow, the Man moves into the driver's seat and drives out of the parking lot as the little girl observes.

HOSPITAL CORRIDOR

Sam, Elena and Dean arrive at Callie Garrison's room. They stop outside the doorway. They watch as Dr.Garrison reads to Callie.

CALLIE'S HOSPITAL ROOM

"...and the Huntsman stepped inside, and in the bed lay the Wolf. So the Huntsman took a pair of scissors and cut open the Wolf's belly." Dr.Garrison Says
As They All glance at each other. Dr.Garrison notices them. He puts down the book, gets up and walks to Them.

"Detectives. Can I help you?" Dr.Garrison Asks

"We just... heard that Callie is your daughter." Dean Says

"And we wanted to say how very sorry we are." Sam Says

"Well, uh. Thank you. If you'll excuse me." Dr.Garrison Says

HOSPITAL CORRIDOR

"Oh, heading this way? We'll walk with you. How long's Callie been like that?" Dean Asks

"We don't mean to intrude. We can't possibly understand how hard it must be for you seeing her like this." Elena Says

"It's not easy. She's uh, been here since she was eight years old." Dr.Garrison Says

"That's when she was poisoned?" Sam Asks

"Yeah. Swallowed, uh, bleach. Never figured out how she got her hands on the bottle. My wife found her, uh, brought her to the ER here and I was on call." Dr.Garrison Says

"You're wife was uh, was that Callie's stepmother?" Dean Asks As Dr.Garrison stops walking and looks at Dean.

"Actually, yes. How'd you know that?" Dr.Garrison Asks

"Lucky guess." Dean Says

"Well, Julie was the only mother that uh, Callie ever knew. My wife passed away last year and, uh ... it's just my daughter and me now. ..She's all I've got left. Uhm, excuse me. I've gotta get back to work." Dr.Garrison Says

"Yeah." Dean Says As Dr.Garrison walks away. Sam, Dean and Elena share another look.

Sam, Dean and Elena are walking down the hall in the hospital.

"Well you're right. It's Snow White in spades." Dean Says

"Yep. Step-mom poisons the girl, puts her into a deep sleep. What's the motive you think?" Sam Says

"Could be like Mischa Barton.. "Sixth Sense" not the O.C." Dean Says As Sam Looks Confused

"What?" Sam Asks

"Hey, you know fairy tales, I know movies. She played the pasty ghost. You know the, uh, remember the mom had that thing you know, where you keep the kid sick so you get all the attention?" Dean Says

"Oh yeah yeah yeah, uh, Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy. Huh, could be." Elena Says

"So say all these years, Callie's been suffering silently because nobody knows the truth about what mommy dearest did?" Dean Says

HOSPITAL RECEPTION

They walk into the reception area of the hospital.

"And after all this time her spirit just gets angrier and angrier, until it finally just starts lashing out." Sam Says

"Right. Meanwhile she has to listen to Dad tell her these deranged stories about a rabid wolf or a cannibalistic old lady. It's enough to drive anybody nuts." Dean Says

"OK, but how are we gonna stop her, I mean Callie's stuck here, her father's keeping her body alive." Elena Says

"It does make it a bit hard to burn the bones." Dean Says

"You think?" Sam Says

"Coming in!" EMT1 Says As The emergency doors open and Sam, Elena and Dean watch as EMTs bring in the Grandmother on a stretcher.

"what's her status?" Doctor Asks

"Seventy-two year old female, sustained multiple lacerations and puncture wounds. BP is eighty over forty and falling. Sinus tachycardia." EMT2 Says

HOSPITAL ER

"Is that a bite?" Doctor Asks

"Looks like she was mauled by a mad dog or, maybe a wolf?" EMT2 Says

HOSPITAL RECEPTION

Sam, Elena and Dean are watching outside the ER.

"What was the last story Dr. Garrison was reading Callie?" Dean Asks

"Little Red Riding Hood." Elena Says

HOSPITAL ER

A cover is thrown over the Grandmother As They All look on Grimly.

HOSPITAL RECEPTION

"Excuse me." Sam Says As They show their badges to EMT 2, Was she the only victim?"

"She was found by the side of the road, barely alive. Alone." EMT2

"We need to find her next of kin." Dean Says

"She has a granddaughter." EMT2 Says

"Do you have an address?" Elena Asks As The EMT2 hands a sheet of paper to Elena

"Thank you." Dean Says

"Thanks." Sam & Elena Says

HOSPITAL CORRIDOR

"Hey, you find a way to stop Callie, all right?" Dean Asks

"Maybe" Elena Says

"What about you?" Sam Asks

"I'm gonna go stop the Big Bad Wolf. ...Which is the weirdest thing I've ever said." Dean Says As He walks way Sam and Elena stares after him.

SCHOOL

A Little Girl walks out of the school and onto the sidewalk. She is dressed in a red hoodie. She smiles when she spots a mini-van she recognizes. The Little Girl crosses the road and gets into the passenger seat.

"Hey, Grandma." The Little Girl Says As The Man who attacked the Little Girls Grandmother turns in the driver's seat and growls at the her, locking the doors as he does so. The Little Girl gasps and tries to get out. The Man starts up the car and drives off down the street.
