LURLENE'S
A group of men gather around a pool table. Leonard is losing, as sweat drips down his face. Joey Six sinks another ball into the pocket. Evie stands by and watches the game.
"Come on, Joey. Give me a chance." Leonard Says, as Joey six ignores him and continues to play.
"Bank side." Joey Says, then hits the eight ball into the pocket.
"What? No. No, no." Leonard Says
A shimmering green light reflects around a coin in the holder above the pool table. He takes it out from the holder and looks at it.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Leonard Says
He picks up a pool cue and tries to hit Joey Six, Pax intervenes and stops him.
"Hey! No fights." Pax Says
He grabs Leonard by the collar and walks him out. Joey Six takes the coin in his hand, kisses it and smiles at Evie.
"Aah! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Stop! Come on!" Leonard Says, then Pax shoves him out the doors.
"You know the rules." Pax Says
"Just...Just one more game, please. You know I'm good for it. Aah!" Leonard Says
Pax shoves him to the ground, "Sorry, pal. You're out of luck."
He then walks back inside the bar and closes the doors.
"Come on! Come on!" Leonard Says
He picks up his broken glasses from the floor and puts them on. Leonard looks at the bar before he walks away.
"Great, Leonard. Great." He Says
Leonard takes out the coin and looks at it. He flips it up in the air. As it spins up, he steps back on the road. A truck's horn sounds, but hits him.

THE BUNKER
Castiel walks into the bunker and looks down at the war room from the balcony. The bunker is empty with only a few lights on.
"Sam? Elena? Dean?" Castiel Says
He walks down the stairs, and sees a piece of paper on the table in the library. Cas turns the paper around and sees the note written by Sam. "Cass, we've gone to Alaska. Sam."
"Alaska." Castiel Says
IMPALA
The Impala drives down the highway, Elena is in the backseat while Sam is checking the messages on his phone as it continues to chime, Dean glares at the phone.
"Silent mode's always an option." Dean Says
"Yeah. Right. Sorry." Sam Says
"Hm, and how's Corinna doing since the whole you know?" Dean Asks
"She's hanging in there. She thinks our plan sounds a little too good to be true. You know, maybe she's right. I mean, how long have we been on the road looking for some place Garth says will supercharge our luck, maybe? And I mean, luck? Is that really even gonna fix our whole "problem"?" Sam Says
"Well, it couldn't hurt. And I don't know how much more of this "normal life" crap I can take, between the credit cards, the car trouble, the constant freaking heartburn." Dean Says
"Well, you know, if you changed your diet..." Dean glares back at her, "What I'm just saying." Elena Says
"I'm just saying," He mocked her, "Please I can eat whatever I want, you don't see me telling you what to eat." Dean Says
"That's because you know better not to, but an apple or a grape wouldn't hurt ya." Elena smirks
"She's right." Dean glares over at him, "Just saying." Sam shrugged
"Just saying." Dean mocked him
"Okay back to this place..do we even know what we're looking for?" Elena Asks, looking over at Sam.
"All I'm saying is that this place..it's not even in the lore. Other than Garth, no one's ever even heard of it." Sam Says
"No, it's there. It's gotta be. I mean, Chuck didn't do this to us just to teach us some messed-up lesson. You know, he wants us off our game. He wants us weak. 'Cause he's coming for us, Sammy. And when he does, if we haven't figured this out, we're DOA." Dean Says
THE BUNKER
Cas walks down the hallway and hears a cellphone ringing. He walks into Sam's room and picks it up.
"Hello?" Castiel Says
A police officer in Cushing, Oklahoma gets into his car as he talks into his phone.
"Uh, yeah, Jeb Evans. Sheriff's Department. Cushing, Oklahoma. Uh, I'm looking for an FBI Agent Watts?" Sheriff Evans Says
"Um, yeah, Agent Watts is working a case in, uh, Alaska. This is Agent, uh, Lizzo." Castiel Says
"Hmm. Well, I guess a fed's a fed, right?" He laughs, "Listen, we got a homicide down here, and my file says that our suspect might be one of yours." Sheriff Evans Says
"The murderer is someone we're looking for?" Castiel Says
"It says Agent Watts started a file on him last spring and to call with any information regarding a, uh, Jack Kline?" Sheriff Evans Says
Cas pulls the phone away from his ear and shakes his head.
"Jack." Castiel Says
"That name ring a bell?" Sheriff Evans Asks, as Cas puts the phone back to his ear.
"Yeah." Castiel Says
CAFΓ
The Impala pulls up outside a cafΓ©, Sam is sleeping with his head against the window, as Elena is asleep in the backseat, Dean taps him on the shoulder.
"Hey." Sam wakes up, he reaches over and gently taps Elena, "Morning." Dean Says
"Hey." He looks out the window at the cafΓ© sign,
"What are we doing? Why did we stop?" Sam Asks
"Last call on food for the next few hundred miles." Dean Says
"Then grab something out of the cooler." Sam Says
"Oh, yeah, no, I polished off the last of the sandwiches while you guys were out." Dean Says, as Sam glares at him.
"Dean we're on a budget." Elena Says
Inside the cafe the three of them entered, Dean puts down some change on the counter.
"What can we get for, uh, $4.60?" Dean Asks, as a
waitress walks over to them.
"Um, a slice of pie and a cup of coffee?" She Says
"Three forks?" The Waitress smiles and walks away,
"Damn it, I was hoping for a cheeseburger." Dean Says
"You can't even digest cheese anymore." Elena Says
They all sit down at the counter, as Sam takes out a map.
"Duh. Lactaid." Dean Says
"Alright. So, if Garth is right, we take this road but honestly, it doesn't look there's anything up there." Sam Says
The Waitress returns with their coffees, they nod to her.
"Hey, how long have you lived here?" Dean Asks
"All my life." She Says
"Great." He points to the map, "Can you tell us what is up that road?" Dean Asks
"No. Are you for real? Did Candy put you up to this?" She Asks
"No, nobody put us up to this. We're...we're just headed that way." Sam Says
"And wanted to know if there's anything up there." Elena Says
"Um, forget it. Sounds nuts." She Says
"Nuts is good, yeah. A couple of Mister Freaking Peanuts here." Dean Says
The Waitress chuckles slightly before she leans down closer to Sam, Elena and Dean.
"Okay. There's...there's kind of this, um, urban legend around here, about this place in the middle of nowhere. It's a-a pool hall that is...magic?" She Says
"A Magic pool hall?" Elena Says
"I told ya. They say that if you get up there and you win, then you come back lucky. Like, hit the Powerball lucky." She Says
"Sounds good to me." Dean Says
"Except for no one ever does." She Says
"What do you mean?" Sam Asks
"Um, one of our regulars, Leonard. The bank was coming for his house, so he went out to find the place and he never came back. Heard he had some sort of accident." Her phone rings, "Excuse me." She Says
"Yeah." They Say, then the waitress walks away.
"Okay. I guess now we know what the downside is." Elena Says
"Eh, not from where I'm sitting." Dean Says
"A-A pool hall that makes you lucky or might kill you? I mean, it sounds like a demon or a witch or..." Sam Says
"Or it could be awesome. It's pool. The-the-the game of champions, kings. My game. Hell, our game. How many honest-to-goodness great memories do we have hustling pool?" Dean Says
"Yeah, because we had to. To eat." Sam Says
"Okay, well, my point is, that if pool is the way we get our mojo back, then maybe we ain't as screwed as thought." Dean Says
The Waitress looks out the window and then turns to Sam, Elena and Dean.
"Hey, you guys drive an Impala?" They look out the window, "I, uh, I think you have a flat." She Says
Dean sighs and then looks at Sam and Elena.
THE BUNKER
Castiel sits at the map table in the war room, the laptop open in front of him, while Sheriff Evans is on speaker phone.
"Okay, you got the video, right?" Evans Asks
"Uh, yes." Castiel Says
"Okay, so, so, Vic was a local doctor, and the office security cameras gave us a good idea of what went down." Evans Says
"Just an idea?" Castiel Says
"You'll see. Now, Dr. Sariel was a good man. He delivered both of my kids." Evans Says
Castiel watches the video and sees Jack looking through the window of the doctor's office.
"Jack." Castiel Says
"This thing's got people pretty spooked." Evans Says
The video shows the doctor opening the door to his office and talking to Jack. He looks away before he looks back at the doctor and punches his hand through the doctor's chest. The screen crackles, as the video blurs.
"I don't understand." Castiel Says
"Me neither. Signal goes out for about two and a half minutes, during which time the suspect kills the doc in his office." Evans Says
"Why?" Castiel Asks
"Keep watching." Evans Says
In the video, Jack walks into the doctor's office with his heart in his hands. He sits down on a chair and brings the heart to his mouth.
"Is that...?" Jack bites into the heart, "That's his heart." Castiel Says, as the video pauses on Jack eating the heart.

LURLENE'S
The Impala pulls up outside the pool hall, Sam, Elena and Dean get out of the car.
"Yeah this doesn't look sketchy at all." Elena Says
"Relax. We might actually have some fun." Dean Says
"Right." Sam Says
Inside the pool hall as people are playing pool inside, Dean walks through the door followed by Sam and Elena.
"Dean, we don't even have beer money, much less whatever the buy-in is here." Sam Says
"Hey, we'll figure something out." Dean Says, as they walk over to the bar.
"Get you something?" Evie Asks
"Yeah. Three waters, por favor." Dean Says
"Sure." Evie Says, as they sat down at the bar.
"Hey, uh..." Dean Says
Evie looks up at Dean while pouring water into the glasses.
"Evie." She Says
"Evie. Say, listen, if uh, me and my brother here wanted to get ourselves a game...?" Dean Says
Evie puts the glasses in front of them, "Pax. Two more for ya."
Pax walks over to the bar where Elena and the boys are.
"Hey, you remember a guy who was in here a few weeks ago? Uh, name was Leonard?" Sam Asks
"No. Sorry." Evie Says, as Sam nods then looks at her questioningly.
"Follow me." Pax Says
Sam and Dean stands while Elena grabs onto Dean's arm.
"Hey how come you just said you and Sam wanted to play, and not me?" Elena Asks
"Oh that's because I just meant me and Sam." Elena rises a brow at him, "What did you want to play or something?" Dean Says
"Maybe." Elena Says
"Come on Lena, when I comes to pool you know Sam and I are good at it, well just me." Dean Says
"Yeah I get it because you had to hustle playing this game growing up, but I'm good at this game too." Elena Says, as Dean chuckles.
"Yeah okay, I'm sure you are." Dean Says, as Elena gives him a look.
"Dean, come on." Sam Says
"Coming." Dean Says
Elena scoffed at him and rolled her eyes, she and Dean walks into a room towards the back, where Sam and Pax are.
"So, how'd you guys find us?" Pax Asks
"Uh, a friend." Sam Says
"Did your, uh, friend say how we wager?" Pax Says
"Yeah, listen uh, money's a little tight right now." Dean Says
"Yeah, we don't bet with money." He opens a box and takes out a coin. He shows it to the boys,
"We use this." Pax Says
He puts it on the desk he's standing at and slides it across to them.
"Okay. What are we looking at?" Sam Asks
"Go ahead. Touch it." Pax Says
Dean looks at Elena and Sam, who shrugs. He nods before he presses two fingers against the surface of the coin. A green shimmering light glows from the coin under his fingers. Dean looks down at it as it disappears and he pulls his fingers away.
"Not great. Not the worst, either." Pax Says
"And that means?" Dean Says
"Well, you see, everybody walks in here with a certain amount of luck. That glow that's you. About average." Pax Says
"Yeah, that sounds about right." Dean Says
"But you set that coin on...on that table, you get yourself a game." Pax Says
He points at the pool table behind Sam, Elena and Dean.
"And you win? You just might see your fortune improve." Pax Says
"And if he loses?" Elena Asks
"Play again. Have a good time. You know, keep playing. But if the coin goes blank, that means you're out of luck. You gotta leave. Questions?" Pax Says
"Yeah. What is this place? Who owns it?" Sam Asks
"I just work here. Look, if you don't like it, the door's open." Pax Says, then sits down at the desk.
"When I win, can I split it? The luck?" Dean Asks
"It's yours. You do what you want." Pax Says
"Yeah. Uh, just give us a second. Thanks." Sam Says
Sam, Elena and Dean walk a little further away from Pax to discuss.
"No, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. No way." Sam Says
"Man, I've been slinging pool cues since before you both were born." Dean Says
"What? When you were four? Really? What, between nap time and snack?" Sam Says
"Look, we barely made it out of that monster fight club, okay? We need this. And you both know it." Dean Says
"Dean I don't know, this is a little risky." Elena Says
"I know that but I want to take a chance, " He looks over at Sam, "Now, look, you're better than me at pretty much everything, okay? That's okay. I'm not mad. I'm proud. But I can wipe the floor with you when it comes to pool." Dean Says
Sam scoffs he sighs then looks over at Elena, who shrugged then he nods.
"Good. Alright." He turns back to Pax, "Okay, pal. Let's give it a go." Dean Says
CUSHING, OKLAHOMA
DOCTOR'S OFFICE
Can walks into the doctor's office. He removes the police tape and steps through. He looks through files and around the room.
Castiel then walks into the exam room and sees a puddle of blood on the floor. He looks through cupboards and drawers, before he sees a lock on a cupboard.
He breaks the lock, moves the lab coats aside and sees a large, black case inside. He takes it out and places it on the exam table. Cas opens it and sees a large sword inside; a Grigori sword.
A quick flashback to 10.20 Angel Heart, Sam sits tied to a chair. Tamiel stands in front of him with his sword.
"I'm a Grigori. Each of our names is inscribed on our swords. A brotherhood of perfectly crafted beings."
DOCTORS OFFICE
Castiel picks up the sword and looks at it closely examining it. While outside on the street a Grigori, Kabaiel walks down the street with his case. Jack follows behind him.
LURLENE'S
Dean walks around the pool table, pool cue in hand. He stands next to Sam and Elena.
"So, how long are we supposed to just wait around?" Sam Asks
"You know, if the fish aren't biting, throw 'em a little chum." Dean Says
Dean leans down and hits the cue ball into the balls, and they disperse around the table.
"I don't know, guys. I'm a little rusty." Dean Says
Dean looks around at the customers, Moria looks around the room and she throws back the shot of drink she has and walks over to Dean. She places
her coin in the holder.
"Go on. Rack 'em up." Moria Says
"Yeah, yeah." Dean Says
Sam nods to Elena, then walks over to Evie who watches from the bar.
"Decided not to play?" Evie Says
"Uh, yeah. It's not really my thing." Sam Says
He sits down at the bar. Back at the pool table, Dean picks up his coin and places it in the holder.
"So, what's her deal?" Sam Asks
"Who? Moira? Been here a while. Guess her sister's still in a coma." Evie Says
"So, she's playing to wake her up?" Sam Says
"Everybody wants something." Evie Says
"Yeah." Sam Says
They watch Dean and Moria playing pool, Sam looks back over at Evie.
"Hey, do you ever smell anything weird, like rotten eggs, or...?" Sam Asks
"Just Charlie." Evie Says
Sam looks back at the pool table to see Charlie playing.
"Right. What about... have you ever noticed little bundles laying around?" Sam Asks
"Uh... no. Look, you're new. I get it. You're trying to figure this out. I guess it is pretty unbelievable." Evie Says
"Places like this don't exist for no reason." Sam Says
"Most people think it's a Godsend. Take that guy." Evie Says
They both look over at one of the players, dressed in a nice suit.
"Loves his wife, but she has expensive taste. He came here from Atlantic City, not a dime left to his name. Or her..." A woman walks past holding her drink, "Three kids, works doubles, buys a scratcher every night. They both deserve a lucky break. And they almost got one. They went on a streak, could have walked away winners, but they kept on playing till their luck went sour." Evie Says
"They're not actually winning?" Sam Says
"Not anymore. Like I said, they should have walked away." Evie Says
At the pool table, Dean hits the ball into the pocket. The glow around his coin shimmers. Moria and Elena watches on.
"Damn it." Moria Says
FACTORY
Jack walks into the factory. He walks around and takes out an Angel Blade from his jacket. He turns the corner, but the Grigori ,Kabaiel comes up behind him, holding the sword to him.
"Why are you following me?" Kabaiel Asks
LURLENE'S
Sam, Elena and Dean sit back at the bar.
"It felt like a warning, like she was telling me to cut our losses." Sam Says
"Are you sure?" Elena Asks
"Mhm." Sam Says
"Come on, man. I'm on a roll." Dean Says, holding up his coin.
"Dean, you won one game. Listen, I think this place sucks you in, right? And if you keep playing, you'll lose. And if you keep losing..." Sam Says
"You go all Leonard." Elena Says
"Exactly." Sam Says
"Alright, so we need to minimize our risk and maximize our profit, right? It's kind of like that action we took back in Tallahassee. Remember
that? The... The... The "Fast Eddie"?" Dean Says
"I don't remember." Sam Says
"It was dad's favorite, from the movie. Paul Newman. "The Hustler"." Dean Says
"Alright, fine." Sam Sighed
"One more game I guess, just one." Elena Says
"Okay. Now we just gotta find our Jackie Gleason."
Dean Says, then watches Joey Six as he plays.
Dean hits the cue ball into the other ball and sinks it into the pocket. As Joey Six watches.
"What did you say your name was again?" Joey Asks
"Well, my name's Dean Winchester. And I'm gonna kick your ass." He Smirks, then leans down and lines up his shot. "Now, what kind of name is, uh, Joey Six?"
"Oh, it's just something they used to call me back in PBR." Joey Says
"Professional bull riding circuit. Nice." Dean Says
Dean takes the shot and the ball rolls into the pocket.
"Tell me. How was that?" He lines up another shot,
"Corner pocket." Dean Says
He hits the cue ball into the eight ball, but it stops short of the pocket.
"Good times." He lines up shot but the ball misses the pocket, "And some not so good." Joey Says
Dean looks down at the table to see the cue ball next to a striped ball which is next to the eight ball. He angles the pool cue against the cue ball.
"Double or nothing says you miss that shot." Joey Says
Dean, Elena and Sam look over at Joey Six as the crowd awaits.
"You trying to hustle me, Rodeo?" Dean Says
"I thought you were gonna kick my ass." Joey Says
"Alright." Dean Says
Dean angles the pool cue and hits the cue ball. It jumps the striped ball and hits the eight ball into the pocket. Everyone in the bar, cheers and claps.
"Helluva shot." Joey Says
The glow shimmers around Joey Six's coin before the coin goes blank. The luck transfers to Dean's coin. Joey Six takes out his coin and walks away, Dean takes out his coin and looks at it.
Joey Six exits the bar and sits down outside, breathing heavily. Sam, Elena and Dean exit the bar and see him sitting outside.
"Hey." Sam Says
"Good game in there." Elena Says
Joey nods then points at Dean, "Good game. Guess you can hustle a hustler."
"Yeah, I guess you can." Dean Says
Joey Six turns the blank coin in his hand before putting it down. He starts coughing heavily, as Sam moves towards him.
"Stay back." Blood splutters from mouth onto his hand, "Damn it." He takes out a packet of cigarettes.
"Let an old man go die in peace, huh?" Joey Says
"Wait, you're dying?" Elena Says
"Cancer. I came out here to beat it. I did win me an extra year. Been saving this." Joey Says
He puts the cigarette in his mouth and lights it. He continues to cough heavily.
