PLAYGROUND

Castiel arrives at heaven's gate, there's no one around guarding it.

"Hello? Hello?", he placed his fingers on his temples "Naomi." Castiel Says

There's a high pitched ringing, but no one shows up and Castiel sighs.

THE BUNKER

Rowena and Jack arrived in the bunker library, he grabs her hand leading her.

"Jack!" Rowena Says

"Come on." Jack Says

As they continue walking further into the bunker, Jack looks down at the wooden floor and a memory of him and Mary pops up.

FLASHBACK

In the flashback Jack picks up a knife from off the floor, as Mary is teaching him some combat moves.

"Okay. Outward position." Jack Says, looking at the knife.

"Right." Mary Says

"Index." Jack Says

"Index finger, flip thumb. No, keep your finger over there." Mary Says

"All right." Jack nods

"Thumb and then switch it all around. There you go." Mary Says

"Right, Outward position. Index, flip." Jack Says, he tries again but the knife falls down onto the ground again.

"That's okay, that one was close. That's enough for today. You're doing great. It's not easy." Mary Says

"When we get Dean back, he's gonna kill me for this." Jack Says

Mary sees the marks on the floor and chuckles as she moves the table to cover it.

"For what?" Mary Says, Jack smiled as Sam entered the library.

"Hey." Sam Says

"Hey." Mary Says

"How's his training coming along?" Sam Asked

"He's got heart. He'll get there." Mary Says

"I feel bad. I've been so busy looking for Dean-" Sam Says

"Sam, everyone here understands what you've been doing and what you've been putting yourself through." Mary Says

"Yeah, I know, but Jack's been through a lot—you know, losing his powers. And I haven't really been there for him.Sorry, Mom. I don't mean to lay all this on you." Sam Says

"No. Are you kidding? It's nice knowing I'm not the only one with parental guilt. How much did the two of you go through when I wasn't there for you? And even when Amara brought me back and I got a second chance, things got complicated, I got complicated." Mary Says

"Mom." Sam Says

"No, I'm just saying parenting is always a struggle. You always feel like you're failing, but then you look at them, and somehow, they're amazing. And somehow," She holds Sam's face as she speaks to him," They're literally the bravest, kindest, most heroic men on the planet. Kids. They'll always surprise you." Mary Says

PRESENT

ROWENA'S APARTMENT

The flashback ends as it fades to Sam, who sitting on the couch deep in his thoughts.

lWell, how the hell are we supposed to keep up with Jack when he's got wings, huh?! And now he's got Rowena? He's got the Book of the Damned? I don't know what to do. I don't even know where to go! Cas should have told us. As soon as he saw Jack go all Dahmer on his stupid freakin' snake, he should have told us." Dean Says

"Dean, it wasn't just Cas. It wasn't. We knew Jack was dangerous. We always knew, long before he killed Michael. You more than anyone. I mean, from the very beginning, you knew. But, you know, we fell for him 'cause he had a good heart and a good soul. Then he didn't. And that's on me, too, by the way. I mean, I'm the one who made the call to bring him back. He didn't ask for that. I decided for him. And you warned me." Sam Says

"No, you didn't know, okay? We didn't know." Elena Says

"Exactly, we didn't know. But-he had become our family. You know, after Maggie and the other Hunters died I just left. Just dumped Jack on Cas and left..I knew. I mean, I knew something was gonna I just didn't know it'd be this." Sam Says

"I did it, too. When I talked to Donatello about Jack, he said he was good as far as he could tell. But then he talked about how powerful Jack was and that he could never really be sure. And it was a warning. I just couldn't see it." Dean Says

"Well we can't just beat ourselves up, it's like I said..we didn't see this coming..even if we knew how strong Jack was, we still didn't know..Mary didn't either." Elena Says

Elena leans back in her chair, and looks out the window and drifts off into a flashback.

FLASHBACK

ROAD

Elena is sitting in the passenger seat, looking out the window as Mary is driving down the wet road as it's raining.

"How's that arm of yours?" Mary Asked

Elena looks down at her arm, which had a bad scratch on it.

"It'll be fine, I've had worst." Elena Says

"Mhm, hey we won't be back at the bunker for another hour. You should get some sleep Elena, it's been a couple of days." Mary Says

"It's been three, I'm okay." Elena Says

"Bull." Mary Says

"Okay," She sighed, "look I just can't sleep knowing that Dean's out there, trapped with Michael inside his body. It's just so damn stressful, just for once I would love for all of us to catch a break." Elena Says

"I know, but hey listen to me..we're going to find him." Mary Says

"Mary it's been a week, and nothing..what if we won't." Elena Says, as she tries not to cry.

"Don't say that, Elena I know I've only been back for two years but..the woman I've seen never gives up on the ones she love. And I know no matter the circumstances, you'll never give up on them especially Dean." Mary Says, as Elena half smiles.

"Yeah..I never give up on the ones I love, it's kinda like my Achilles heel." She and Mary chuckled, "I don't know why I compared them to that." Elena Says

"Hey, but it's true..you never give up on them..ever." Mary Says, as Elena nods.

The flashback ends as Elena comes out of her thoughts, and half smiles at the memory.

THE BUNKER

In the bunker Rowena is busy assembling the ingredients for the spell.

"Are you done yet?" Jack Asked

"I said they were simple ingredients, but there are a lot of them, and they need to be compounded precisely. You know, I could have fought you back at my flat. I'm not saying I would have won, but I could have tried. I didn't because you want the same thing the boys want, that I want." Rowena Says

"No offense, buddy, but this is just so sad." Lucifer Says

Jack looks over and see's his hallucination of Lucifer, Rowena follows his gaze and sees no one standing there.

"Jack?" Rowena Says

"Bringing the witch bitch into your desperate little plan? Why? So you can "make things right" with the Winchesters?" Lucifer Says

"You stop it." Jack Says

"Excuse me?" Rowena Says, looking at him confused.

"It's-It's fine." Jack Says, walking away from her.

"Um Just What do you want? Forgiveness? You want gratitude for bringing Mommy back? Why? So you can call this dump home again? So you can ease your guilt? But you don't have guilt anymore, do you, Jack? Admit it. You don't feel anything anymore." Lucifer Says

"Shut up." Jack Says, rubbing his forehead.

"Are you okay?" Rowena Asked

"Keep working." Jack Says

"You know this torment that you're feeling right now? It's just a reflex. It's just a habit, man. It's-It's an echo from when you actually could feel something, when it mattered." Lucifer Says

"No." Jack shook his head

"But you know what? The sooner you give up this little fantasy, the sooner this phantom pain can go away." Lucifer Says

"No. Shut up." Jack Says, as Rowena looks over her shoulder at him.

"Mnh-mnh. Not gonna. And you know what, Jack? It's not gonna work. You know it's not gonna work, you know it." Lucifer Says

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" Jack Says, he goes to make Lucifer disappear but he's already gone.

"Jack?"

Jack turns around at the familiar voice, he turns and sees Marley standing in the door way looking at him confused.

"Marley." Jack Says

"What's going on?" Marley Asked

"Nothing, it's nothing."

"Why is Rowena here, is everyone back yet?" Marley Asked

"No, look Marley just go back upstairs with Wren please." Jack Says

Marley looked over at Rowena, who mouthed "Listen to him" quietly.

"Okay, but before I go upstairs I need to know what's going on." Marley Says

Jack shook his head in annoyance and grabbed Marley's arm.

"Don't go anywhere," He and Marley leaves the room, "Come on." Jack Says

"Jack, what the hell is going on and why is Rowena assembling a spell?" Marley Asked

"Look Marley it's complicated." Jack Says

"Try me, look Jack whatever it is you can tell me what is going on, Elena, Sam and Dean are out looking for you and Mary-" Marley Says

"I did something" He interrupted her,"Something really really bad." Jack Says

"Okay like what?" Marley Asked

"I hurt Mary." Jack Says, as Marley furrows her brows.

"Hurt like you injured her or hurt like-" Jack looked down at the ground, her eyes widen, "No Jack, you didn't." Marley Says

"It was an accident I swear." Jack Says

"You killed Mary by accident?!" Marley Says, slowly stepping away from him.

"I just wanted her to stop taking, just for a second..I didn't mean to hurt her. Please Marley, you have to believe me.." Jack Says

"Jack..I don't know..what to say." Marley Says

"You don't have to say anything, because I'm going to bring her back with Rowena's help." Jack Says

"Jack I think you should wait for them to come back, so you can explain everything." Marley Says, taking out her phone.

"No!" Marley gets startled, "I have to do this Marley, it's the only way they'll forgive me." Jack Says

"Jack don't!" Marley Says

Jack shoved Marley back, and she gets transported into Wren's bedroom. She hits the wall very hard, and falls to the ground out of breath.

"Ow," She groaned out, "Jack no." Marley Says, she tries to get up but she's in pain.

Jack walks back into the room with Rowena who's finished with the ingredients.

"Are you done yet? Are you done?!" Jack Asked

"Yes. We have everything we need, all but the last thing." Rowena Says

"The last thing?" Jack Says, looking at her.

"Her body." Rowena Says

PLAYGROUND

"Naomi. I'm still here, and I'm not going anywhere, not until I have a word with you." Castiel Says

The gate opens and appears the Angel Dumah.

"Dumah." Castiel Says

"Castiel." Dumah Says

"Where's Naomi?" Castiel Asked

"Well, I'd tell you it's none of your business, but you already know it's none of your business. Why are you here?" Dumah Asked

"I'm looking for someone." Castiel Says

"Mary Winchester? If that's why you're here, then you should leave now." Dumah Says

"Why? There may be a way to bring her back." Castiel Says

"Why would you want to do that?" Dumah Asked

"Because she's gone." Castiel Says

"She is at peace. You know, she died painlessly. Instantly. Completely. She's in Heaven, a special Heaven. Mary Winchester is complete. You and the Winchesters may not be. But she is." Dumah Says

WOODS

ABANDONED CABIN

"Jack?" Rowena Says

"I brought you to the right place. We have the right ingredients." Jack Says

"Where's the body, Jack?" Rowena Asked

"We can do this. That's-you will make it work!" Jack Says

"It won't. Can't." Rowena Says

"Then I'll do it myself." Jack Says, snatching the book and bowl away from Rowena.

"You're in no condition. Jack, a cardinal rule of magic disposition affects execution and you are spinning! Whatever you bring back, it won't be her." Rowena Says, kneeling down next to him.

"Then help me!" Jack Says

"I won't." Rowena Says

Jack looks down at the ground then he shoved Rowena, using his powers to transport her back to her apartment. Rowena gets to her feet, and groggily makes her way to the table where her phone is and dials Sam's number.

"Rowena, hey. We just left your place." Sam Says, as he put his phone on speaker phone.

"Well, I'm back! Listen. Jack is using magic to try to bring your mom back." Rowena Says

"Can he do that?" Dean Asked

"There's no body and your boy, he snapped. He's desperate. Confused, angry. You have to try to stop him." Rowena Says

"Wait Why?" Elena Asked

"Because necromancy is a delicate art. It's unpredictable under ideal circumstances. In his state, oh, I fear your boy will bring back something terrible." Rowena Says

Back at the cabin, Jack starts preparing the necromancy spell. He takes out a match and lights it up, picking up the book and began reading the incantation.

"Id quod mortuum, nunc oriatur. Hoc quod cecidit, nunc revertatur. Id quod mortuum, nunc oriatur. Hoc quod cecidit, nunc revertatur. Hoc quod cecidit, nunc revertatur. Orimini. Ori mini." Jack Says

Jack looks up as suddenly the clouds starts moving as a purple light forms into the sky, the weather starts changing as Jack continues to chant the spell.
He looked out the corner of his eyes, once he saw the Impala arrived. Jack's eyes glowed and began using his powers to slow down the vehicle.

"What the hell?" Dean Says

"What are you doing?" Sam Asked

"The engine just stopped." Dean Says

Elena looked out the window, and she saw the weather changing around then and felt a strong sense of power.

"Oh no." Elena Says

"What?" Sam and Dean Says

"Jack." Elena Says

She opens the car door and exits the vehicle, as Sam and Dean got out and followed behind her. The dark cloud shot down a purple lighting beam at the ground, and Mary's body appeared.

Jack got up off his knees and walked over towards her, he leaned down a bit and saw that Mary wasn't breathing. Soon Sam, Elena and Dean arrived catching up to him.

"Jack?" Sam Says

Jack turned around to look at them with guilt written all over his face.

"It didn't work." Jack Says

"No Jack don't-" wings are heard fluttering, and he disappears, "Go." Elena Says

"No, no. No. Mom? Mom." Dean Says

Dean rushes over to Mary, and holds Mary's lifeless body in his arms as he, Elena and Sam cries. Dean has a flashback of Mary sleeping on his shoulder in a car. The scene pans out to all four of them confirming that Mary really is dead.

BUILDING

Somewhere in an empty building, Jack is sitting alone rocking back and forth as hallucination Lucifer shows up again and sits next to him.

"Well, I warned you. It's worse, trying and failing. There's no going back. You realize that now. Cas, Sam, Elena and Dean they're never gonna trust you again. And you know what that means." Lucifer Says

"What?" Jack Says

"You can never trust them." Lucifer Says, as Jack turns away from him.

THE BUNKER

They all returned back to the bunker, Elena opens the door to Wren's room and sees Marley rocking her to sleep. She walks over to them, and takes Wren from her and gives them both the biggest hug crying.

Dean goes into his room and sits down on his bed, sitting in silence clutching his fist together trying not to cry again. While in the kitchen Sam is sitting alone at the table looking at old pictures of his family over the years. Cas appears in the door way, and joins him at the table.

"Cas." Sam Says

"She's in Heaven. And she's at peace." Castiel Says, as Sam nods with tears in his eyes.

"So Naomi told you, huh?" Sam Asked

"Dumah, actually." Castiel Says, as Dean and Elena walks towards the kitchen, standing near the doorway.

"So, what? are you just gonna take her word for it?" Dean Asked

"No. No, she let me in," We see Cas in Heaven finding Mary's room with the plate 1954-1983 and 2016-2019 on the door he went to look for himself then the scene went back to present time, "I saw your mother's Heaven, and she is happy. She's with John, and there's no sorrow. There's no guilt. Just joy."

"I talked to Rowena. Um, she said she thinks that what Jack brought back, he just brought back a shell. A body, you know. That it was empty. Just a a replica. "Incapable of holding life." Elena Says

"So, what are we supposed to do now?" Sam Asked

"What we always do." Dean Says

WOODS

Cas, Dean, Elena, Wren, Marley and Sam had a funeral pyre outside with Mary's body burning as they stood watching her burn. Cas wanted go over to Dean but Elena stops him. Sam had a photo of Mary and tossed it into the fire as they said their goodbyes.
