ELENA & NATHAN-APARTMENT

Elena Is asleep next to Nathan, but Nathan is awake he's looking at Elena sleeping peacefully but she starts to open her eyes

"Good Morning" Nathan Says

"Mmm good morning" Elena Says

"How'd you sleep last night" Nathan Asks

"Umm Surprisingly good even though I came home from work late last night" Elena says

"Speaking off work I have some news to tell you" Nathan says

"What is it?" Nathan Says

"Well My Job wants be to head over to Boston because we're working on the manufacturing process of creating a new medicine and they want my help on it" Nathan says

"Oh my god Nathan that's great babe" Elena says

"But I'm Going to be gone a while" Nathan Says

"Wait How long?" Elena Asks

"About Maybe Three weeks maybe 4 we're just conducting an experiment that's all" Nathan Says

"But Can't You Do it here" Elena Says

"Well My boss wants to collaborate with the chemical engineers babe I'll be back before you know it" Nathan Says

"Your basically gonna be gone for a month" Elena Says

"But I'll Back In no time, Baby Please don't be mad" Nathan Pleads

"Im not mad I'm just really gonna miss you that's all" Elena Says then she kisses him

"But I know you'll figure out something to do in your spare time, how about you go spend time with your dad"

"Yeah I'll probably Do That" Elena Say

"But as for now how about we make the best of our time right now" Nathan Says

"Oh Really" Elena Says as she begins straddling him

"Really" Nathan Says

"Okay, Let me give you something to remember me by" Elena says as she begins kissing Nathan

"You didn't have to do all this. I'm fine." Angela Says

"Yeah, I can see that" Neil Says as Angela takes his hands in both of hers "Thanks,Neil" Angela Says

"Yeah" Neil Says, There is a loud pounding at the door. They both look around. "Look.." Neil Says

"It's Probably Him." Angela Says

"I'll take care of it" Neil Says, He goes to the front door, opens it. Matt is standing there.

"Where is she ?" Matt Asks

"Let's just chill out and think about this for a second, okay?" Neil Says

"I need to talk to her" Matt Says

"Some other time" Neil Says

"Matt shoves Neil and enters, Neil shuts the door behind him. They both go into the kitchen to find Angela is gone.

HIGHWAY

Angela is driving down a dark road, crying. Her cell phone rings, and the display reads "Matt Cell Phone Calling". She picks up.

"Leave. Me. Alone." Angela Says

"Angela, I'm sorry." Matt Says

"You're sorry? She laughs You're sorry, oh, that's great" Angela Says

"Angela, listen to me." Matt Says

"I don't want to listen to you! I'm done listening!" Angela Says

"Listen to me!" Matt Says

"No - I... I love you!" Angela Says as she is crying and looking down, she doesn't see a turn in the road. She crashes into the barrier.

"Angela? Angela?" Matt Says , Close up on Angela's face, staring, covered in blood.

THE ROAD

The Impala zooms down a two-lane blacktop. Dean is driving, Sam in the passenger's seat and Elena is in the backseat

"Thank You Guys For picking me up" Elena Says

"No Problem Elena, now why did you wanna come along anyways?" Dean Asks

"Well Because Nathan is Going to be in Boston for basically like a Month and I'll be all alone In our apartment bored so I said why not spend time with my dear old friends Sam and Dean" Elena Says

"Really, Don't you have a job Elena ?" Sam Asks

"Yeah But I told them that one of my family members just had a very serious surgery and they need my help plus it's part time no biggie" Elena Says

"Okay But I have one more question?" Dean Says

"What?" Elena Says

"Does Nathan Know Who you truly are?" Dean Says

"If your implying if he knows that I'm a witch no he doesn't know I never told him, it's hard to keep my powers a secret around him" Elena Says

"How long have you guys been going out?" Sam Asks

"Umm About two years now" Elena Says

"Wow Look at our Lena staying committed I'm proud" Dean Says

"Oh Shut up, but I don't think I'll ever tell him what's really out there me not telling him is keeping him safe" Elena says

"Still Lying though" Sam Says

"I know but now I have a question where are we going" Elena Says

"I wanna Visit our mother's grave" Sam says

"Oh" Elena Says

"Come on, Sam, I'm begging you. This is stupid." Dean Says

"Why?" Sam Says

"Going to visit Mom's grave? She doesn't even have a grave -- there, there was no body left after the fire." Dean Says

"She has a headstone." Sam Says

"Yeah, put up by her uncle, a man we've never even met. So you wanna, go pay your respects to a slab of granite put up by a stranger? Come on." Dean Says

"Dean, that's not the point." Sam Says

"Well then, enlighten me, Sam." Dean Says

"It's not about a body, or, or, a casket. It's about her memory, okay?" Sam Says

"Hmm" Dean Says

"And after Dad it just... just feels like the right thing to do" Sam Says

"It's irrational, is what it is." Dean Says

"Really Dean, Come on She was his mother to if he wants to pay his respects let him" Elena says

"Look, man. No one asked you to come." Sam Says

"Why don't we swing by the roadhouse instead? I mean, we haven't heard anything on the demon lately. We should be hunting that son of a bitch down." Dean says

"That's a good idea, you should. Just drop me and Elena off, We'll hitch a ride, and We'll meet you there tomorrow." Sam Says

"Right. Stuck ... stuck with those people, making awkward small talk until you show up? No thanks." Dean Says

GRAVEYARD

Sam kneels before a headstone, digging in the ground with a folding knife. The headstone reads: Mary Winchester , 1954-1983, In Loving Memory, Sam pulls a set of dogtags out of his pocket. He sighs

"I think, um .... I think Dad would have wanted you to have these. He drops the dogtags in the hole and covers them.I love you, Mom." Sam Says

Nearby, Dean and Elena are standing by another gravestone, marked as "Loving Father", looking pensive. Dean sees a dying tree, and stops, frowning. He walks over to it, knocks on the trunk,
consideringly, then notices a perfect circle of dead grass surrounding a gravestone. He crouches down, fingering dead flowers. Later, Dean takes a card from a man in a suit, then walks over to Sam and Elena.

"Angela Mason. She was a student at the local college; funeral was three days ago." Dean Says
as they began walking

"And ?" Elena Says

"And? You saw her grave. Everything dead around it, in a perfect circle? You don't think that's a little weird?" Dean Says

"Maybe the groundskeeper went a little agro with the pesticide." Sam Says

"No, I asked him, I asked him. No pesticide, no chemicals. Nobody can explain it." Dean Says

"Okay, so what are you thinking?" Elena Asks

"dunno. Unholy ground, maybe?" Dean Says

"Un--" Sam Says

"What? If something evil happened there, it could easily poison the ground. Remember the, the farm outside of Cedar Rapids?"Dean Says

"Yeah, b-" Sam Says

"Could be the sign of a demonic presence. Or the, the Angela girl's spirit, if it's powerful enough. Sam nods, turning away.Well, don't get too excited, you might pull something." Dean Says

"It's just... stumbling onto a hunt? Here, of all places?" Sam Says

"So?" Dean Says

"So -- are you sure this is about a hunt, and not about something else?" Sam Says

"What else would it be about?" Dean Says, Sam sighs heavily, shaking his head, moves to get into the car
You know, just forget about it." Sam Says

"You believe what you want, Sam, but -- I let you drag my ass out here, the least we could do is check this out." Dean Says

"Yeah, Fine" Sam Says

"Girl's dad works in town. He's a professor at the school" Dean Says as he gets in the car

"Huh, don't you work fast" Elena Says as she gets in the backseat of the car

SCHOOL BUILDING

Dean, Sam and Elena knock on the door of Dr. Mason office.

"Dr,Mason ?" Dean Asks

"Yes ?" Dr,Mason Says

"Hi Im Elena, This is Sam and Dean, we were friends of Angela's we wanted to offer our condolences." Elena Says

"Please Come in" Dr,Mason Says , They enter; he closes the door behind them. Sitting down, he shows them a photo album. In the corner, Dean is looks through an old book. Sam is looking at the photo album with Dr,Mason,"She was beautiful." Sam Says

"Yes, she was." Dr, Mason Says , as Elena & Dean are Standing nearby, Dean walks to the bookshelf and he looks at a book, "This is an unusual book" Dean Says
As He shows the cover of the book he's been paging through; it has carvings of Greek letters and a triangular symbol.

"It's ancient Greek; I teach a course." Dr,Mason Says

"So a car accident, that's, that's horrible." Elena Says

"Angie was only a mile away from home when, uh ..." Dr,Mason says

"It's gotta be hard. Losing someone like that. Sometimes it's like they're s-- still around. Almost like you can still sense their presence. Sam looks at him, concerned. You ever feel anything like that?" Dean Says

"I do, as a matter of fact." Dr,Mason Says

"That's perfectly normal, Dr. Mason. Especially with what you're going through." Sam says still looking at Dean

"You know, I still phone her. And the phone's ringing before I remember that, uh .... Family's everything, you know? Angie was the most important thing in my life. And now I, I, I'm just lost without her." Dr, Mason Says

"We're very sorry" Elena Says

MOTEL-ROOM

"I'm telling you, there's something going on here. We just haven't found it yet." Dean Says

"Dean, so far you've got a patch of dead grass and nothing." Elena Says

"Well, something turned that grave into unholy ground." Dean Says

"There's no reason for it to be unholy ground. Angela Mason was a nice girl who died in a car crash. That's not exactly vengeful spirit material. You heard her father." Sam Says

"Yeah, well, maybe Daddy doesn't know everything there is to know about his little angel, huh?" Dean Says

"You know what? We never should have bothered that poor man. We shouldn't even be here anymore." Sam Says

"So what, Sam? What, we just bail? Without even figuring out what's going on?" Dean Says

"I think I know what's going on here. It's the only reason I went along with you this far." Sam Says

"What are you talking about?" Dean Says

"This is about Mom's grave." Sam Says

"He scoffs,That's got nothing to do with it." Dean Says

"You wouldn't step within a hundred yards of it. Look. Maybe you're imagining a hunt where there isn't one so you don't have to think about Mom. Or Dad. Dean turns to look at him. Sam sighs,"You wanna take another swing? Go ahead, if it'll make you feel better." Sam Says

"I don't need this crap." Dean Says as he grabs his jacket and keys and starts for the door.

"Dean, Where are you going now ?" Elena Asks

"I'm going to go get a drink. Alone." Dean Says as he slams the door

"Sorry About him Elena" Sam Says

"No no it's Just Dean being Dean, and its pretty normal for you guys to be bickering" Elena Says

"Yeah" Sam Says

"You gonna be alright or you do want some company " Elena Says

"No no it's alright go on to bed I'm gonna be okay" Sam Says

"You sure" Elena says

"Yeah" Sam Says

"Okay, Goodnight Sammy" Elena says as she leaves the room
