Jo is walking quickly through the docks, a flashlight in one hand and her cell phone in the other; she's calling Dean, and his voicemail picks up: This is Dean. Leave a message.

Jo hangs up the phone with a sigh of frustration and continues searching. Moments later she calls again, and this time hears Dean's ringtone coming from below her, by the water. She runs down to where he is lying unconscious at the bottom of a ramp.

"Dean! Dean!, he wakes with a groan, coughing, he's completely wet, Take it easy." Jo Says

"Where's Sam?" Dean Asks

"don't know, I've been looking for you. Come on, get up." Jo Says As She helps him to stand, and he leans on her heavily, groaning, clutching his shoulder, as they walk back to the bar.

Dean is seated at a table, gripping the edge with his right hand as Jo digs the bullet out of his left shoulder. He's groaning loudly.

"Don't be a baby!" Jo Says

"God!" Dean Says

"Almost. All right, got it. Got it." Jo Says As She drops the bloodstained bullet in a glass of clear alcohol. Dean takes a few healthy swigs from a bottle of whiskey.

"God, you're a butcher." Dean Says

"You're welcome." Jo Says

"All right, are we done?" Dean Asks

"Would you give me two minutes to patch you up? You can't help Sam if you're bleeding to death.
Dean takes another swig as Jo continues layering gauze and tape over the wound, So how did you know? That he was possessed?" Jo Asks

"Uh, ah, I didn't, I just knew that it couldn't have been him." Dean Says

"Hey, Dean." Jo Says

"Yeah?" Dean Says

"I know demons lie, but ... do they ever tell the truth too?" Jo Asks

"Uh, um, yeah, sometimes, I guess. Especially if they know it'll mess with your head. Why do you ask?"" Dean Says

"Nothing. Doesn't matter. So do you have any idea where he's headed to next?" Jo Asks

"Well, so far he's been going after the nearest hunter, so . . . closest one I know lives in South Dakota." Dean Says

"Okay good, I'm done. Let's go." Jo Says

"Yeah, You're not coming." Dean Says

"The hell I'm not. I'm a part of this now." Jo Says

"I can't say it more plain than this. You try to follow me and I'll tie you right back to that post and leave you here. This is my fight. I'm not getting your blood on my hands. That's just how it's gonna be." Dean Says

"Wait. He turns back, and she hands out a prescription pill bottle,Here. Take these, they'll help with the pain." Jo Says

"Thanks. I'll call you later, okay?" Dean Says as he leaves the bar

"No you won't." Jo Says

It's raining as Dean drives down a dark stretch of road; he dials a number on his cell. Elsewhere , a phone rings several times, until Sam cut the phone line running outside the house. Dean looks at his phone and sighs.

"Dammit." Dean Says

BOBBYS HOUSE

Sam walks slowly up the steps to the house and knocks on the door. It's opened to reveal

"Sam!" Bobby Says Smiling

"Hey, Bobby." Sam Says Smiling As Well

"It's been a while,Well, come on in." Bobby Says

Sam enters slowly, glancing at the ceiling, and Bobby shuts the door behind him. They walk together into Bobby's study, which is dimly lit and covered wall to wall with stacks of books and papers, Elena and Nathan Enters the study as well.

"Dad Who's at the Do-, Oh" Elena Says

"Hey Elena" Sam Says

"Hey Sam" Elena Says as she goes to hug him

"I See That Your Boyfriend is here as well" Sam Says

"Hey Sam nice to see ya again" Nathan Says

"Yeah You to" Sam Says

"So what brings you?" Bobby Asks

"Working a job nearby, and thought I'd stop in and say hey." Sam Says

"Well, where's Dean?" Elena Asks

"Holed up somewhere with a girl and a twelve pack." Sam Says Then Bobby goes into the back room; Sam With Elena and Nathan but he eyes the ceiling again.

"Oh Yeah, She Pretty?" Bobby Asks

"You ask me, he's in way over his head." Sam Says

"So How you feeling, you've been missing for over a week now" Elena Asks

"Oh I'm good I'm good" Sam Says

"Okay" Elena says then Bobby returns with 4 beers and he hands one to everyone.

"Well, it's good to see you to John." Bobby Says as he raises his beer

"To Dad." Sam Says , They toast and swig the beer, Sam turning to look up at the ceiling again; as he swallows the beer he spews suddenly, choking, falling to his hands and knees and coughing and gagging painfully. Bobby and Elena sips their beer, unconcerned.

"Oh My God" Nathan Says as he tries to aid Sam

"No Nathan Don't" Elena Says

"What, Why?" Nathan Asks

"Cause That's Not Sam" Elena Says

"What'd you do?!" Sam Says

"A little holy water in the beer. Sam never would have noticed. But then, you're not Sam are you. Don't try to con a con man." Bobby Says As He slams his fist into Sam's face, knocking him out.

Later, Sam-demon is tied to a chair, before a fire and under the very same protective circle used on Meg. Dean smacks him in the face to wake him.

"Hey." Dean Says As Sam looks up, sees the painted Devil's Trap, Dean looks up too.

"Dean. Back from the dead. Getting to be a regular thing for you, isn't it? Like a cockroach." Sam Says

"How about I smack that smartass right out of your mouth?" Dean Says

"Oh, careful, now. Wouldn't want to bruise this fine packaging." Sam Says

"Oh don't worry, this isn't gonna hurt Sam much.
He turns to pick up a bucket, You, on the other hand ..." Dean Says Then he tosses a bucketful of holy water on Sam-demon, who sizzles and roars.
As Elena and Bobby Look on Nathan Looks Horrified

"Okay What The Hell is wrong with him!, Why is he burning?" Nathan Asks

"Nate Nate look at me, everything is going to be okay it's just a demon inside of Sam" Elena Says

"A Demon!" Nathan Says

"Yes Now you have to stay calm so we can save Sam now breathe" Elena Says

"Okay Okay" Nathan Says

"Can I get back to what I was doing Nathan"Dean Says

"Sorry Man go on" Nathan Says

"Feel like talking now?" Dean Asks

"Sam's still my meat puppet. I'll make him bite off his tongue." Sam Says

"No, you won't be in him long enough. Bobby." Dean Says

"Exorcisamus te, omnes in mundus spiritus
omnes satanica potestas, omnes incursio" Bobby Continues to say

"See, whatever bitch-boy master plan you demons are cooking up? You're not getting Sam. You understand me? 'Cause I'm gonna kill every one of you first." Dean Says

Sam-demon struggles painfully, then throws back his head and laughs maniacally. Bobby cuts off in surprise.

"You really think that's what this is about? The master plan? I don't give a rat's ass about the master plan." Sam Says

"Humiliares sub potente magnu dei..." Bobby says

"Oops. Doesn't seem to be working. See, I learned a few new tricks. he lowers his head and begins growling Latin, Spiritus in mundus, un glorum suarum umitite palatum iram, domine ..." Sam Says
As The fire behind him flares and the room shakes as he continues.

"This isn't going like I pictured! What's going on, Bobby?" Dean Asks Then Bobby sees the burn mark on Sam's forearm as Sam-Demon continues to chant

"It's a binding link! It's like a lock! He's locked himself inside Sam's body!" Bobby Says

"What the hell do we do?" Elena Asks

Sam throws back his head and screams; the shaking walls and ceilings begin to crack, breaking the protective circle. Sam-demon's eyes are black as he lowers his head.

"There. That's better." Sam Says , He jerks his head left; Bobby goes flying. He jerks his head right; Dean goes flying, landing heavily against the far wall.

"Elena What do we do?" Nathan Asks

"Nathan Get out of Here NOW!" Elena Yells

"Oh this is gonna be fun I've never killed a witch before" Sam Says

"Well I'm not gonna be the first" Elena Says as She. Begins to use her Telekinetic powers on Sam she begins to Choke Sam

"Lena Stop Your Gonna Kill him" Dean Says

"Dean I-" Elena Says but she then gets cut of because Demon Sam walks up to Elena he begins to manhandle Elena and choke her

"Sammy Please" Elena Says as she begins to struggle to breathe

"Sammy's still in here but I'm calling the shots now" Sam Says he continues to choke Elena but uses her powers again to bring the holy water to her and she pours it on Sam so he can release her but Sam fling Elena across the room knocking her out

Dean is flinching in pain from his shoulder. Sam rips free of the restraints and stalks over to Dean.

You know when people want to describe the worse possible thing? They say it's like hell.

Sam kneels in front of Dean, fisting his left hand in Dean's shirt and clocking him hard with a right jab. Dean grabs onto Sam's shirt with his right hand.

"You know there's a reason for that. Hell is like, um ...he hits Dean again, Well, it's like hell. Even for demons. hits him again, Dean is groggy and bleeding heavily from his nose, It's a prison, made of bone and flesh and blood and fear. hits him again then grabs Dean's head, holding it steady,And you sent me back there.

"Meg." Dean Says

"No. Not anymore. Now I'm Sam. hits him one more time then digs his right thumb into Dean's bullet wound, By the way. I saw your Dad there - he says "howdy". he digs in further Dean tries to pull Sam's hand away, groaning in pain, All that I had to hold onto, was that I would climb out one day, and that I was going to torture you. Nice and slow. Like pulling the wings off an insect. he shoves Dean's grasping hand away, But whatever I do to you, it's nothing compared to what you do to yourself, is it? I can see it in your eyes, Dean. You're worthless. You couldn't save your Dad, and deep down ... you know that you can't save your brother. They'd have been better off without you.

Sam rears back to hit Dean again; suddenly Bobby is there, grabbing Sam's arm. He presses a hot poker into the mark on Sam's arm; he screams in pain, then screams again as black demon smoke billows out of him and up the chimney. Dean pulls himself up painfully. Sam falls back, then comes to himself, scrabbling and looking around in confusion, then grabs his arm in sudden pain.

"Sammy?" Dean Asks

"Did I miss anything?" Sam Says As Dean rears back and right-hooks Sam in the cheek, then rolls his eyes and collapses. Sam grabs his cheek in confusion.

Later On Sam is sitting behind Bobby's table with an icepack on his arm, Dean is on the other side of the table groggily holding an icebag to his face. And Elena is on the couch with Nathan

"By the way, you really look like crap, Dean." Sam Says

"Yeah, right back atcha." Dean Says

"But how are you holding Elena?" Sam Asks

"I mean I'll live, but as long as that demon is out of you that's all that matters" Elena Says as Nathan Rubs her Back

"Man You guys do this as an actual job wow if only the world knew the truth huh" Nathan Says As Bobby walks in slowly, looking concerned.

"What is it, Bobby?" Sam Asks

"You boys ever hear of a hunter named Steve Wandell?" Bobby Asks

"Why do you ask?" Dean Says

"Just heard from a friend. Wandell's dead. Murdered in his own house. Sam looks down and Elena Eyes him, You wouldn't know anything about that." Bobby Asks

"No sir, never heard of the guy." Dean Says

"Dean --" Sam Says

"Good. Keep it that way. Wandell's buddies are looking for someone or something to string up, and they're not going to slow down to listen to reason. You understand what I'm saying?" Bobby Says

"We better hit the road. If, uh, you can remember where we parked the car." Dean Says

"Here. Take these." Bobby Says As He hands each of them a small metal charm.

"What are they?" Sam Asks

"Charms. They'll fend off possession. That demon's still out there. This'll stop it from getting back up in ya."

"That sounds vaguely dirty, but uh, thanks." Dean Says

"You're welcome." Bobby Says

"You boys be careful now." Elena Says

"You too." Sam Says as he smiles at Bobby and Elena. Bobby looks back at him seriously, not returning the smile. At the door, Dean tosses the icebag back to Elena and smiles a little at Dean.

THE HIGHWAY

Dean is driving down a dark stretch of highway; over the following scene, Reo Speedwagon's "Back on the Road Again" plays. Sam is frowning quietly, and Dean glances over in concern.

"You okay? Sam? Is that you in there?" Dean Asks

"I was awake for some of it, Dean. I watched myself kill Wandell with my own two hands; I saw the light go out in his eyes." Sam Says

"That must have been awful." Dean Says

"That's not my point. I almost carved up Jo too, hell I almost strangled Elena to Death, But no matter what I did, you wouldn't shoot." Sam Says

"It was the right move, Sam. It wasn't you." Dean Says

"Yeah, this time. What about next time?" Sam Asks

"Sam, when Dad told me ... that I might have to kill you, it was only if I couldn't save you. Now, if it's the last thing I do, I'm gonna save you." Dean Says
After a pause, Dean laughs softly.

"What?" Sam Asks

"Nothing." Dean Says

"Dean, what?" Sam Asks

"Dude, you -- you like, full-on had a girl inside you for like a whole week." Dean Says then he laughs
then Sam frown cracks, and he laughs with Dean.

"That's pretty naughty." Dean Says As They drive on.

Elena Is Looking in the mirror brushing her hair, When Nathan comes out the bathroom

"Hey You" Nathan Says as he hugs her from behind

"Hey" Elena Says

"How you doing?" Nathan Asks

"I'm Fine I Swear Nate" Elena Says as she turns to face him

"I Still can't get that out of my head, like I witnessed a real life exorcism it felt like I was in the Exorcist but more scarier" Nathan Says

"Yeah Not what you expected huh?" Elena Says

"Nope, But you Sam and Dean even your Dad are brave and these things should scare you but they don't it's like your not scare of anything" Nathan Says

"I mean I'm scared of some things" Elena Says

"Trust me I know spiders" Nathan Says

"But Are you sure your okay with all of this you know me being a witch and all" Elena Says

"Of Course I think it's pretty bad ass when you used your powers wow Elena, but I have a question?" Nathan Says

"Sure what is it?" Elena Says

"So How Good are you with your powers, like is there a skill level could you show me a trick oh my bad a spell?" Nathan Asks

"Sure, but Uh just stand there okay, he stands still, now hold this candle, now Ignes Dissipare et Vallum" Elena Says as the candle becomes lit

"Woah, you can create fire around you" Nathan Says

"Yeah Witches can control the elements around them, for instance whenever I got angry when I was young I used to set fires yeah it was pretty dangerous " Elena Says

"That was cool" Nathan Says

"Thanks Nate" Elena Says she then kisses him

"I love you so much" Nathan Says

"I know you do, I love you to" Elena Says He kisses her

"You Ready for bed?"Nathan Asks

"Yeah" Elena Says, Her and Nathan gets into bed and falls asleep
