Nearing the Slytherin corridors, I suck in a breath for the coldness I'm about to feel. Feeling a gust of cold wind blow in my face makes me shiver. I was right.

Nearing the Slytherin commons, I grip my books tightly in my hands. "Salazar Slytherin." I say my British accent peaking slightly through.

"Welcome back, miss Snape." Barron says as he leaves the common room. "Hello Barron, don't get lost like last time." I bid him a farewell and head into the cold dungeon.

As I walk in I see some classmates in the commons doing some last minute summer homework. I say hello before heading up the stairs to my dormitory. I unlock my dorm and push the heavy door open and head inside.

I see that one of my roommates had lit a fire so it was nice and warm in here compared to in the commons. "Hey Iris, your brother stopped by for something, he didn't tell me what he needed though." My roommate says and I nod my head.

"Okay, thanks Veronica." I say and drop my books on my desk before taking my Slytherin robe off. "Is he in his dorm?" I ask kicking off my black shoes. She nods her head not looking up from her book.

"His eyes were puffy when he came over." She speaks out and I roll my eyes.

"I bet it was fucking Potter again." I proclaim while slipping on a black sweater. "Gryffindors are a waste of my time and patience." I added throwing my hair into a loose ponytail.

"They can't be that bad," Veronica starts looking up from her book, "I mean Peter Pettigrew isn't that bad." She finishes closing her book.

I roll my eyes and laugh at her statement. "I actually kinda ship you and Potter." She breathes out.

We both went silent before bursting out laughing. "That was funny." I say catching my breath. I bid her a farewell heading out the door going downstairs to Severus room.

I knock on his door rubbing my arms feeling cold. The door opens and I see it was my brother with puffy red eyes. He opens the door wider so I could walk in.

"Veronica said you needed to talk to me." I sit down on the couch pulling my legs up to my body to feel warmth. It was silent and I was getting impatient.

"What did Potter do this time?" I ask getting up from the couch. "It wasn't Potter." He says, voice very monotone.

"Well then what is it?" I nagged walking around the room. "It was Lily." I roll my eyes at his little crush on the Gryffindor girl.

"Severus just give it up already, its obviously never going to work with her." I snarl sick of his crush.

"You don't know that!" He shouts throwing books off his desk making me jump. "You don't understand what happened Iris." He runs his hands through his hair.

"Then tell me what happened Severus." I say and grab his arm. He turns around to face me. "I called Lily a mudblood."

"Well, thats what she is, isn't she?" I ask and he glares at me. "She hates me now," he starts pacing the room. "And she has probably already told her little boyfriend, this is fucking great." He rants.

"Severus, Severus," I step in front of him to stop him from pacing. "You will be fine as long as you have your wand, and some, confidence, but who knows with you." I try and reassure him and he takes a deep breath.

"Do you know how many classes you have with him?" I ask him and he goes to his desk.

"Potions and Defense against the Dark Arts." I nod my head at his words.

"You will be fine, I have those classes as well." I smile and he lets out a breath he was holding in.

"Goodnight Severus."

"Wake up sleeping head." I was being shaken by my other roommate, Aston.

"Okay, oka-." I was cut off rudely when one of her brothers burst in through our door. "Titus! Bloody hell!" I scream out pulling the duvet over my body because I was only in a bra and short shorts.

"Sorry Iris, it's nothing I've never seen before, but um-. Jax is chasing me because I took his last cigarette." He tries to catch his breath and Veronica hands me one of her sweaters so I wouldn't be as exposed.

Then as if on cue Jax bursts through the door. "Fucking hell," I breathe out taking my hair out it's ponytail.

"Do you guys always have to fight in our dormitory?" Their sister asks keeping them apart so they don't mess up OUR dorm room.

"Yes because Severus always kicks us out when we bicker." Jax says trying to get to Titus.

"I mean can you blame him," I laugh out

"Don't answer that, it was a rhetorical question." I added because Titus is a little slow. He really needs some adhd pills or something.

Jax and Titus make up and we all decide to just chill in our dorm room and then our door opens again but this time it's more in control and not out of anger. It was Severus and Damon.

"Partying without us, I'm hurt, deeply." Damon jokes and I get up to give him a hug. "It's never a party if you aren't here." I say and look over at Severus and he had took my seat on the couch making me roll my eyes.

"Severus, get up." I demand and he laughs at my antics. Jax grabs my wrist and pulls me down onto his lap. "A little bit of a warning next time please." I pestered. He laughs at me and nods his head.

"When should we head to breakfast?" Veronica asks coming out of the closet. That was ironic.

We all shrug our shoulders not really in the mood to go to classes today. "You are all lazy." She lectured and we share a laugh.

"Veronica, it's called the devious seven for a reason, without you it's the devious six which doesn't sit right with me." I retorted and everyone agrees.

"How come you always sit on Jax's lap and never mine?" Titus asks feeling left out. "Well first off Jax isn't horny for me and second he pulled me down soooo." I proclaim and Titus blushes embarrassed.

"We should really be getting to breakfast." Aston gets up from her seat Titus following holding out his hand for me to take.

I take his hand to get up from Jax's lap and Titus kisses my hand as a gentlemen would and I laugh at him. "Thank you Titus." I jokingly curtsy at him and all seven of us walk down to the common room catching mostly everyone's attention on our way there.

"Severus!" We all hear a third year boy call for my brother making all of us have confusion plastered on our faces. "James Potter is looking for you." For goddamn fucking sakes.

"Is that all?" I ask and he nods his head. "Then shoo." I wave my hands and he scurries off. "Well what are we going to do about Potter?" Titus asks clueless.

"The 'marauders' don't stand a chance against the devious vii." I explain and it finally clicks in his head. "Ohhh!" He exclaims excitedly.

"No," Severus speaks out walking in front of us. "James Potter is my fight." He muttered. We all look at each other silently agreeing to something Severus didn't know about.

"Okay. You know where to find us." I say and we all walk past him and head out of the door.

"Iris, can you please not pour your drink on me like last time." Titus pleads grabbing my hand. "No promises mister." I say and he pouts at me.

"Don't pout at me." I gasp and he laughs at me. He swings his arm around my shoulder and we enter the Great Hall.

"What class do you have first Veronica?" I ask her sitting down at the table. "Transfiguration," she starts, putting some bacon on her plate. "I just hope McGonagall doesn't assign so much homework like last year, I almost failed her class because of it." She finishes putting bacon in her mouth.

"I have a free period then I have Potions with Severus." I announce taking a sip of my drink. "I have a free period too," Aston says as she sits down nexts to me.

"Wanna go out to the courtyard?" I ask stabbing the eggs with my fork. She nods her head fixing her hair.

We all sat in silence quietly eating our food when there was shouting heard. "Where is he!?" Oh no.

It was James shouting for Severus. "James don't make a scene." It was Lily, of course it was, James didn't listen, he pushed past Lily and walks into the Great Hall.

He starts walking over to the Slytherin table making some people glare at him. "Iris! Where's your brother?" He demands nearing us.

"What brother?" I play dumb making him mad. "Don't play dumb Iris." He clenches his jaw and I roll my eyes.

"Guess I'm just going to have to go to the source." He says causing me to get confused, then it clicked. He's going to the Slytherin commons!

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," I get up from my seat the rest of the devious vii follows suit.

"And why not, whose going to stop me?" He smirks and I look over at Titus and Jax, they nod at me and it was my turn to smirk.

"We are," I announce jumping onto the table and he starts to run towards the door. I hop down onto the concrete and start running after him.

"Expelliarmus!" James shouts out aiming his wand at me, I act quickly dodging the spell.

I was about to cast a spell at him when my wand is flung out of my hand. I look over to my side and see it was Peter Pettigrew.

My eyes go wide as I see Remus Lupin, Lily Evans, and Peter Pettigrew had their wands pointed at me.

I smirk at the unfairness knowing I won't win. I hold out my hand and make a signal for them to come at me. They all collectively look at each other and start shooting spells at me.

"Stupefy!"

"Petrificus Totalus!"

"Levicorpus!"

I quickly try to dodge the spells trying to find my wand or some cover.

"SILENCE!" We all stop what we are doing seeing Dumbledore pointing his wand at his neck.

"Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Lily Evans, Iris Snape, and James Potter, detention for all of you!"

I groan at the thought of having to spend detention with the Marauders. I walk back to my seat and find my wand in Astons hand. "You had it this whole time?" I ask and she nods her head.

I glare at her and she mumbles a sorry before quickly putting food in her mouth. "Great now I have detention with the fucking marauders!" I put my face in my hands agonizing having detention.

"Jax! Can you please get detention so I'm not alone?" I pled and he shakes his head.

I gasp and act heartbroken, I look over at Damon and he immediately shakes his head as well. "I hate all of you. I hope you know that." I explained and get up to go the commons.
