"get dressed, i'm taking you out." calum spoke, coming into the room and lifting abien off the bed.

abien pouted at him from moving her from a comfortable spot. "where?"

"wherever you want to go." he said, pushing her curls out of her face.

"well, okay." she agreed.

"mhm so get ready. you got like fifteen minutes." he told her, kissing her cheek before leaving. abien groaned and stood up, walking over to her closet.

abien got dressed in dark blue high waisted jeans and a cream colored cropped tank top. she did her makeup and what not, slid on a pair of vans and grabbed her purse. abien made her way down stairs seeing calum on his phone waiting for her.

"ready to go?" he asked her, standing up.

"yup." abien nodded with a smile on her face as she grabbed calum's hand.

"alright." he nodded, grabbing her keys from her hand then leading her out the house to her car.

"so where to?" calum asked, starting up the car.

"hm, there's this bowling alley we could go to?"

"alright, there we will go."

they were currently at the bowling alley and abien was in the lead because calum would let her win at times. she honestly hated it but she knew if she told him to stop he'd refuse.

"aw, they're so cute." abien nodded towards an old couple.

"not as cute as us." calum said as he walked back to her after his turn.

"nah, they're cuter." she laughed sheepishly.

"maybe we can be together that long." calum grinned, grabbing abien's hands, pulling her close to him and kissing her lips.

"maybe we can." she agreed.

"i don't know what i would be doing right now if i never met you." calum told abien, who was standing between his legs as he was sat on the bed with his arms around her.

"probably driving your mom crazy." abien joked.

"i don't drive her crazy much." calum shrugged as his phone started to ring, stating he had a facetime call.

he pulled out his phone and answered the call. michael appeared in the screen squinting his eyes. yelling was heard around him and he sighed before looking at whoever was speaking. "hey- guys shut up!"

"sorry. hey cal." he chuckled, looking back at the brown haired boy.

calum smiled at his best friend who he'd miss. "hey mike."

"where's your girlfriend?" he questioned.

"she's right here." calum told him as she had now migrated beside him with her head on his shoulder.

abien leaned into the camera's frame and greeted michael. "hiya."

"hey! aw man she's even prettier in person." michael gushed, and abien blushed, hiding her face in calum's chest.

calum scoffed at his friend. "back off."

"just speaking the truth." michael shrugged.

"who's all with you?" he asked, still hearing noises in the background.

"squad is." michael replied attempting to do gang signs with his hands.

abien laughed against calum's shoulder then showed her face again. "michael, please don't do that again."

michael laughed, shaking his head. "you're right. i don't think i will."

just then two other figures appeared at michael's sides. luke was to the left of him and ashton was to the right, how calum explained it to abien.

she had seen michael more than a few times in group chats and she had only seen luke omce in his profile picture on kik but it barely showed his face -- she knew him from his hair -- and she had never seen ashton at all. nonetheless, they looked better than she expected.

"hi calum." luke said, looking at the screen.

"hey dude." calum chuckled.

"abien's there too." michael attempted to whisper but the couple heard them anyway.

"really? show your face abi." luke pleaded.

abien leaned over calum's should again and smiled and waved. "hi guys."

"aw, hey abien!" ashton grinned and luke waved back at her. "how are you guys?"

"we're good." she answered giving them a thumbs up and calum kissed her cheek.

"we get that she's yours, cal."
