"Hubby! You look so handsome." Solana waved excitedly from the bar she was eating breakfast at.

She had stayed the night with Cana and Mirajane, at the girls dorm. Getting to know the two better and because they offered. It was a very enjoyable night as Solana constantly made them laugh.

After a day, everyone was pretty use to Solana's preferred name for Kageki. It was still shocking that the male allowed it but they couldn't deny the obvious attraction he had for the girl. He may be quiet but the guild has known him for years. They understood his character by this point.

"You also look pretty." The man grunted out. Eyeing her outfit choice. It was simple but looked good on her.

She wore a long brown laced shirt that was actually dress. But she only buttoned one button, making it into a shirt. Pairing it with high rise jeans and simple heels. Her hair was pulled up into a tight Afro. Simple gold jewelry tied in the look.

As for Kageki..... he just had a on a light gray top paired with dark gray cargo pants. He had a black leather jacket that paired well with his black boots. He wore a sliver chain around his neck. Simple, but that was just him.

"I look even prettier without it~" She purred up at him. Her short form caused her to crane her neck all the way back.

He glared down at her face. Her smile etched into his brain as he thought about her words. He wouldn't mind taking her up on that offer.

"You two get out of here with that! This is a bar made for drinking! Not baby making!" Cana waved her fist at the duo. Smiling drunkenly at like 9 in the morning.

Solana laughed and grabbed her bag. Gently placing her bunny partner inside before placing a half awake Kuro in with her.

She entwined her hand with Kageki that just looked at her. Giving him a bright smile before pulling him along.

"Ah, young love. They're just so cute together." Mirajane smiled fondly at the two walking away.

"How much you wanna bet that they'll be together by the end of the month?" Cana smirked at the white haired girl. Mirajane smiled evilly.

"I say the end of the week." The mage placed some money down. Cana laughed hard.

"You're on!" The card mage threw down some money too.

"Hey! I want in on that!" A guild member yelled before others started to do the same. Soon the whole guild had placed a bet.

Solana skipped down the street happily. Swinging her and Kageki's entwined hands. Neither one of them seemed to think about letting go.

The people of Magnolia Town whispered and stared at the young duo. They recognized the man from Fairy Tail. The S-ranked mage that was known as Sandman for the way he put enemies to sleep. If you know what I mean? But he also usually took on night missions only.

Considering Solana had only been a guild member for a day, they didn't know her. Although her beauty did make her stand out as she was very different from the people of the town.

She mainly stood out today for being seen with Kageki. A man known for his solitude and unapproachability. Men and women alike have tried to get close with the man only to want to rather face death himself. Kageki was just too scary but yet they adored him from afar. He was still young, strong and very good looking.

  "Welcome to Paradise Apartments." A bland voice of a woman spoke out when the bell rung. She looked up and her eyes widened.

  Solana looked around the front office of the apartment complex and frowned lightly. For a place called paradise, its was definitely not giving.

  "How may I help you Mr. Sandman of Fairy Tail~" The woman at the front desk purred.

  Her name was Rita. She was a tall and thin woman. Her curves were subtle but still alluring. She had pale skin and auburn hair. It was pinned up beautifully. Her most noticeable feature was her vibrant green eyes. The small mole underneath the left one made them pop out more.

  Kageki didn't even spare her a glance. Pushing a distracted Solana forward. Indicating it was the shorter girl that was here to look.

  "I would like to check out your one bedroom apartments!" Solana smiled politely to the woman. Her pearly white smile was blinding towards the other people in the room.

  Rita frowned up her face.

  "Our apartments are very expensive. Do you even have enough money to pay the deposit?" The older woman sneered at the young mage. Looking her up and down as she scrutinized her every look.

  Solana just continues to smile brightly.

  "I have plenty of money! So can you just show me the floor plans?" The girl stayed calm as her pale eyes shined.

  "Sureeee!" The woman said sarcastically. Forcing a smile on her face before grabbing some paperwork.

  "Come on Hubby!" Solana grabbed Kageki's arm. The people around gasped, expecting the worst.

  Rita grinned to herself. Believing the unknown girl was too stupid to know that Kageki hated being touched. She ignored the endearment term.

  "Ok." Kageki grunted softly. Following the girls lead as he allowed him to drag him forward. More gasp as they weren't expecting that. Fiore's most feared mage was being so docile.

  Rita took them to a showroom that they used to display the floor plans. There were many other people here to check out the luxury apartments.

  Solana eyed the space disapprovingly. It really wasn't all that spectacular for its price.

  "Do you not like it?" Kageki asked quietly as he bent down to her height. The celestial mages cheeks puffed up.

  "Not really. It just seems small." The woman sighed as she looked around.

  "This unit is fairly large but I guess someone of your proportions would take up a bit of room." Rita scoffed as she walked past the girl. Trying to show off their differences in sizes. Solana could only snort to herself.

  Kageki was growing annoyed with the sales woman. He didn't like the way she was insulting Solana. The male didn't calm down until she placed a hand on his back.

  "If you're trying to insult my size, you're going to have to try a lot harder than that. And if you're trying to make yourself look more desirable in front of Kageki you're living in the wrong world. I know I'm thicker, it just makes it all the more pleasurable for when my man fucks me~" Solana smiled at the woman before grabbing Kageki's hand. She just didn't have the energy to deal with this woman. It was beneath her and not worth her time.

  "What fucking man?! Nobody would ever want to be with you! Sugar daddies don't count as a man." Rita started yelling from embarrassment.

  The room got quiet. But not from her words per se but the light being sucked out the room. Rita felt an immense pressure on her. Gravity pulling her down to her knees. She was terrified. Especially when she was able to look up at the man. He's eyes glowing despite the shadow covering his face.

  "Come on Kageki. It's not that big of a deal." Solana pulled at his jacket. She was looking down as she spoke. Rubbing her eye softly.

  "Hubby." He gritted his teeth as his fits balled up. He wasn't mad at her, but upset her mood was affected. He had the urge to kill everyone that made her upset. Starting with Rita.

  "Huh?" She looked up at him confused. Her eyes were watery and only seem to anger the man more.

  Little did he know........she just had a lash stuck in her eye.

  He gripped her chin as he put his lips near her ear.

  "Don't call me Kageki, call me Hubby." He muttered in her ear. She chocked on her spit.

  "Take me right now and I'll call you whatever you want." She whispered breathlessly. Both her heartbeats pounding wildly.

  The male flicked her forehead before putting his arm around her waist. Ignoring the people around them, they walked out. Kageki looked back once at Rita. The wind carrying his words.

  'Never show your face in front of her again.'

  It's safe to say that not only was Rita fired she also left the town.

  "Welcome to Miracle Skies Apartments! I'm Nola, how can I help you two?" A cheery voice called out to the duo.

  Nola was very short woman. If Solana had to guess, she was a dwarf/elf mix. Especially on the account of her long pointed ears that she pierced with all sorts of earrings. Nola had softly tanned skin and bright pink hair. It seemed to touch the floor even in her high ponytail. She had soft blue eyes that reminded one of the morning sky. Twinkling brightly as she looked at the beautiful friends.

  "I'm looking for a one bedroom apartment! I have plenty of money so the price isn't a problem." Solana smiled brightly to the woman. Already liking her and the place much more than the other.

"Yes! I actually have one more unit available. It has a beautiful overview of the town and mountains. Definitely makes the balcony worth it!" Nola clapped her hands excitedly as she picked up her paperwork.

Solana got even more excited. She was actually about to look at the apartments Lucy was in but Kageki brought her here.

Looking around the apartment she just fell more and more in love. It was spacious and newly renovated. The lacrima technology was even of high quality. And to top it off, there was a small side room she could convert for Primrose. The price was too good to be true.

"This place is amazing! But is the price really that low?" Solana asked the woman concerned. Nola tilted her head.

"You're apart of Fairy Tail, yes?" The small woman asked with a light smile. Solana nodded her head. Making the woman smile brighter.

"We house a fair share of the guild members and for a return on the discount they usually help with some mundane tasks. Like minor repairs or noise complaints. We just appreciate you guys so much!" Nola sparkled as she spoke about the partnership.

It didn't take long for Solana to sign the paperwork and pay the first month's rent. Nola leaving the pair in the apartment as she went to process the papers. They were leaning against the balcony looking at the bustling town. It was still pretty early in the day.

"I can't thank you enough Kageki. This place is amazing." The girl turned her head and smiled softly at the male. It was a closed eye smile but it was still radiant.

"I thought I said you can only call me Hubby?" The male frowned at her calling him by name. Making the other snort as she leaned against him.

"I haven't known you for long, cause it's literally been like three days since we met, but I really like you. Something about you draws me in and makes me want to be around you. So to hear you like that silly nickname makes me really happy." Solana spoke what she was thinking. Her tone was calmer than her usually bubbly persona. But she always had a charm that made one smile.

"You're my mate." The male spoke softly. He was looking down at her the entire time.

"Your mate?" She asked slightly amused. Kageki furrowed his eyebrows. Still not use to having to say so much, but for her, he'd join a debate team.

"Dragons and their slayers have mates. Destined life partners. You're my mate." He explained more. Solana could only laugh.

"That's cool and everything but it would be a bummer if your only reason for wanting to be with me is because you have to be."

Kageki shook his head quickly and grabbed her shoulders. Looking her deep in her eyes.

"I like you. You're bright and weird. You're pretty and you smell good. You make people happy. You make me happy. I want to learn everything about you." He looked at her with wide eyes. He looked afraid she wouldn't believe him.

Solana broke out into a loud laugh. Tears falling from her eyes as she tried to quell her laughter.

"You're so fucking cute Kageki Tatsu! I wonder what other expressions you could make~" The curvy beauty placed her hand on his cheek. Her eyes looking at him lowly as she smirked.

The male blushed softly. She didn't even do any anything but the look in her eyes made his heart race.

"Can I kiss you?" He grunted as he looked away. Glaring at the poor wall beside him. Solana only giggled.

"You don't even have to ask Hubby." The girl stood on her tip toes as she grabbed his head.

She pecked his lips lightly. But that wasn't good enough for him. He placed one hand around her waist and the other under her chin. Deepening the kiss as he couldn't get enough of her lips.

Solana couldn't help letting out a light moan. Only making the man hungrier for her.

"Ok we get it! You're ruining our nap!" Kuro yelled as he and Primrose popped their heads out of Solana's bag. They looked annoyed and only made the girl laugh.

The newly formed couple and their animal companions spent the rest of the day looking for items for the apartment.

Although it was mainly Solana talking, the two had a pleasant time. Getting to know each other more and more. Kageki even letting out a few jokes as his personality started to show more.

He's just a very solitary person. He got along well with his guild mates but with him always on missions or training, he was never around much. The only person he really talked to was someone that was gone just as much as he was.

Another issue he had was that he really just wasn't human. He was just evolved enough to the point where he could be human. He truly doesn't know what happened to the other dragons that Natsu looked for so desperately. He figured it was because he was much younger or that he didn't have a slayer.

  He learned that Solana had a much harder life than she let on. Her smile was genuine but it also hides a lot of pain. She had long since separated from her family before leaving with Lucy. Joining the guild really to have a place to call home.

  Speaking of Lucy, he learned that Solana was the one to teach her the basics of celestial magic. Although the woman knew that there was a lot more she could get out of Zodiac key magic, Lucy just wasn't ready.

  Also, Primrose was a literal star that fell from the sky when she was younger. The star taking on a form of a rabbit. She can fly, emit heat and light, and explode herself the same way a supernova does.

The couple ate ice cream on the balcony of Solana's newly furnished apartment.

"Hubby, where do you live?" Solana asked curiously. From what Lucy told her, Natsu lived in a shack like tree in the forest. Many others lived in the dorms, this apartment or had homes.

"Next door." Kageki said casually as he ate his ice cream.

Solana blinked at him slowly.

"Huh?"

They weren't even supposed to get together THIS early but whatever😭 I just wanted them to have their cute fluffy moments and be in love
