Time to dig some graves.
Deckard's POV
For a split second, I froze. Han Lue... alive? The man I'd put in the ground years ago. Ghosts like him don't come back for small talk. They come back for payback.
He stood there, calm as if we were old mates.
"I have something to talk to you about."
I didn't bother hiding my disdain.
"The only reason a dead man shows up at my door... is revenge."
Before he could blink, I grabbed his sweater, yanked him inside, flipped him flat on his back, and slammed the door shut. Dom's crew wasn't getting anywhere near this.
Han reached for a bag of spilled snacks on the floor and dusted himself off. I turned back, eyes narrowing.
"Should've stayed dead. I don't like repeating myself," I said, voice low and cold.
He had the audacity to pant and mutter, "You ruined my snacks."
That was it. No hesitation. I moved in—kicks, punches, elbows—precision strikes, each one harder than the last. But he wasn't striking back and just deflecting, keeping distance.
"Relax. I don't want to fight you," Han said, calm as ever.
I smirked, dark and dangerous. "Then this'll be over quick."
One clean spin kick—sent him crashing into the heavy bag. The chain rattled, metal groaned, and his yell echoed around the room. I didn't stop—punch, kick, elbow—relentless.
I raised my arm to strike again—then the room exploded with light. Headlights? Camera flash? Didn't matter.
Instinct kicked in. I dove behind the wall as the heavy bag went flying, smacking hard against the floor. Han stayed in the open—still calm, still standing.
Then—movement. Shadows in the doorway. Armed soldiers.
I move first. Grab one by the vest, smash him into the wall, bounce him off the car hood, strip his gun, and drop another with a shot to the leg. The knife comes free, and I drive it into a soldier's neck. Clean. Quick.
Another one charges. I rip his rifle free, reverse it, and hammer him across the jaw before dumping him through the windshield.
Han's fighting now too, smooth and efficient, taking down two and got a gun.
I press a gun to his chest before he can start the engine. "You bring more men to kill me, to leave my children without a father". More men?"
Han growls, "They're trying to kill me, too."
More shadows swarm the room. I glance at Han. "Looks like we've got more company."
I lower the gun. "You still drive?"
Han said, deadpan. "What do you think?"
I hide behind the wall, and I snap a grenade off a soldier's vest. As Han got behind the wheel.
I floor it while I hurl the smoke grenade, clouding the room. Soldiers blind-fire. I'm already moving—kicking one in the knee, smashing another with the rifle butt, then dropping three more before reloading and laying down covering fire. Han drove the car into the soldier, making them crash into the floor. As I fought and took a gun and aimed it at Han and shot the person behind him
Han yells, "No, no, no—" as I shoot past him, taking out a soldier at his back.
I shrug. "Now we're even."
Then—another voice. Calm. Confident. Feminine.
"Well, I arrive just in time."
Every gun in the room swivels. Helmet comes off—and there she is. Isabella Shaw
My wife.
She scans the room, spots two soldiers still crawling, and puts them down clean. No hesitation.
"Hi, darling. Oh—Han... still alive, I see."
Han smirks. "Isabella. Nice to see you again."
She nods. "Likewise."
Dom's team came in, and Roman said, "You okay?" The man managed to get out, and the man I had been beaten up and run away while the screen and Dom team got scared of the man screaming, Isa was laughing and said " you've been busy, darling". And Roman said, " Now, see, I understand all this, what the hell was that? Isa shrugged and said, " his job, what do you think, big forehead?"
I keep checking my weapon, ignoring the jabs.
Tej stifles a laugh. Roman barks, "I wasn't scared!"
Tej: "Mate, you were terrified."
I finally cut in. "Love, how'd you get here so fast?"
Isa smirks. "You think I don't know when someone breaks into our base? Dropped the kids off with your mum, slit one soldier's throat, nicked his gear. Easy ride."
Deckard turned to face her, tension still sharp in his shoulders. "You knew of Han being alive."
Isabella nodded, guilt flickering across her face. "About Han? Yes. I didn't know how to tell you, Deck. Mr. Nobody told me not to tell you; he wants Dom and team to work for him".
Deckard's jaw flexed, his eyes dark with emotion. "To my heart stank... You should've told me sooner."
"I know," Isabella whispered, reaching for his hand.
I released a sign I was holding and I took isa hand in mine, and we walked into base.
Ramsey said, "Oh wow". Tej said, "Take a look at this. Han said, "This should cover us in the gear department". Roman said You are not to be trusted," looking at me and Isa and Isa said, "Neither are you. I added, "Hey, you ain't on my Christmas list either".
Isa said, "None of you are, honestly, I can stand Han, but all you, no thanks". Dom's team walk further into the base. I add " nothing here is for free. Let me be clear on that". Isa said, " I will be very clear, we don't want your war."
Tej walked next to Roman, who had walked away for me and Isa, and Tej said, "Make sure you get a receipt from him, okay. I'd love to see that".
Ramsey said, "Well, I guess Barry wasn't entirely worthless. I can use this hard drive to complete the bad place of Dante. He's been 10 moves ahead of us this whole time; how does he do it by himself?
Isa said, "Guys, listen, when you are done, get out. We didn't welcome you, but since you think you are here and think sharing is caring, sure, help yourself but then get out and really you mess with Dante, good luck getting out alive.Ramsey continues to type and says, " This isn't good, our money has been split into accounts all over the world, and look who they're registered to". We all moved closer to look at what was happening.
I said, "These are mercenary kill teams, real scum." Isa adds, "They have no heart, they kill because they want to. Roman looked at me and said, "Aren't you a mercenary?" I looked at Isa, and I could see anger in her eyes, and I held her arm, and Isa looked at him and said, " he was framed, and he has a heart, so don't you
Ramsey said, "They are using our money to buy an army. Tej said, "So this guy doesn't want us dead. He wants to erase us off the planet," Han said, " he 's trying to tear us apart". Roman said, "It's exactly why we need to link back up with Dom at the rende vu point. Ramsey did some more typing and turned to me and Isa and said, "You need to see this". Ramsey said, "They've been paid to target us, and anyone who has ever helped us until now.
Isabella's POV
Deckard and I, along with the others, stared at the screen showing Dom's allies and family. And there—right in the middle—was Queenie.
"Mum," Deckard muttered, his jaw tightening.
His eyes snapped to mine, already calculating. "Isa... the kids?"
I froze for a split second, guilt hitting hard. "Hattie's on a mission with Owen. And your mother... she said she'd take them. God, how could I be so stupid?"
Deckard cupped my face, steady and firm, forcing me to focus. "Hey. You're not stupid. You didn't know. We'll save Mum—and our kids."
I nodded, fighting to steady my breathing. I had no time to think; we had to get to Queenie, the kids before Dante did.
"Then let's go," I said.
Deckard started packing everything we needed. Nothing was going to stop us."
Deckard put the things in the car, and I walked towards him. Deck said, " I'll have transport waiting for you. Tej said, "Where are you going?" Deckard and I looked at each other and said, "Dig some grave". Ramsey called out to us and said, "Wait, you aren't coming with us, Isabella."
Deckard had gotten into the car.
I looked at Ramsey and said, "No, we aren't coming with you; we have our own family to take care of, but please help yourself with some weapons. Also, do not go in the other room, that means you, Roman and do lock the door when you leave.
Roman looked offended at that, and I could tell Deckard was smirking, and said, "If you go in, I will know, and good luck, Dante is a hard person to kill.
Deckard and I got in the car, looked at him, and said, " Ready?"
He looked at me and said, " Ready."
I smiled and said, "Let's go, and kill some of these fuckers and remind them of who we are".
Deckard started the car and held out his hand to me, and I took it, and he squealed it lovely.
Author note - here we are, the end of Love or Family, well, not really till Hobbs and Dante come out, maybe Deckard will be in it and if not, Fast and Furious 11. Now I am officially taking a long break from my Fast and Furious stories.
