"I'm a successful businesswoman, why would I need a sugar daddy?"

"Have you seen the man?" Jennifer gawks, confused at Freya's obvious lack of interest. "I'm gay, and yet I acknowledge, that this man is hot. Hot as fire, flames and the hot burning sun."

"Jen, are you drunk at twelve in the morning?"

Perrie pops her head through the door, briefly knocking on the Hotel's slidey doors before carrying a tray of English pastries in as she enters.

"Indeed my darling wife is-but that's only because she's still got so much alcohol in her veins from last night. First the Styles Convention afterparty, then her 20th birthday bash...She's still absolutely smashed. Pissed, drunk, mad as a hatter."

Laughing, Freya leans over to give Jen a quick kiss on the head before getting up.

"I just don't see the craze, Jennifer. I'm glad that the world has the Avengers-without them, we'd never have been able to prevent the blip and defeating Thanos. These Heros aren't, however, everything the world makes them out to be. They do almost the same thing as all villains do, except since they wear cloaks and fancy suits, get none of the blame for it."

Jen pout as she stumbles onto her feet. 

"You seem to have put a lot of thought into this... Are you shaking?"

Freya curls into herself, hugging her arms over her chest. 

"I-I guess I'm still just as pissed as you are. I should probably sober up a bit before I meet James for an interview."

Perrie raises a brow. 

"But you only drink on weekends, right? Yesterday was a weekday."

"W-was it?" The singer stutters, scratching her head in mock confusion. "It's been such a whirlwind with all of these concerts, events and interviews. I must've thought it was Sunday, not Monday...My mistake."

Shaking her head, Perrie grabs Jennifer by the hand, bids her goodbyes and reminds Freya of a few things.

"Be kind to yourslef, Frey. I know something or someone is bothering you, but you'll be okay.  Jen and I are always here to talk or help you in any way possible, you know that."

"Hiya, James, long-time-no-see!"

"Freya Mercury, my little rockstar!"

Freya and James give each other a tight squeeze, laughing as New York's splendour seeps into their actions.

"How are you love? I know that you took some time away from your show recently, and I wanted to check up on you in person- instead of on Instagram or twitter."

"I'm doing much better, thanks. My daughter was ill for a while, and I realised then how much I missed her childhood while running that show. As a result, I took a few steps back for a while. I'm back now, though. Bright and ready as ever!"

Smiling, the singer sympathizes with her long-time friend. "I'm glad. I don't have children of my own, but I've always wanted to be a mother. The thought of missing parts of their childhood scares me immensely- as a pop star in the very public eye."

"Ten minutes 'til the park is all cleared out," a man informs James. James thanks him, Freya following suit as soon as she learns his name.

"Can you believe it's been almost ten years since you first interviewed me, James?"

"My gosh, time really does fly by! You were fourteen, dreaming big and singing messages loudly for the whole world to see. Even then, so incredibly talented."

The blonde laughs, covering up her face as she remembers the footage which started her and the band's career.

"I'm still dreaming big, J, still dreaming big."

"Camera's are rolling. James, could you please tell us how you feel right now?"

Freya laughs as the rollercoaster ascends its track, the interviewer next to her beginning to sweat.

"Oh, I am loving-THISSSS!" 

James lets out a high-pitched scream as the ride plunges downwards at terrifying speed, going around the loop as Miss Mercury cackles beside him.

"Oh, god, this is golden," She gasps out, still wheezing as she tries to catch her breath in order to get off of the ride. "We caught it on video too!"

"Are you aware of how highly other celebrities and guests on the show view you? I had a boy the other day, who wanted to be a singer one day. Bloody good voice, a brilliant personality, a Love of my Life hoodie with your face blowing a kiss on it. Taylor Swift whom you met only two days ago was on my show while I was in town-she had nothing but the best to say about you. It's almost as if everyone has to bring up your name, because of how large your career has gotten."

Freya is blushing profusely by the time her host stops speaking. 

"I find that very flattering. Inspiring people is such a rewarding feeling. It's sort of like looking back at who inspired you and awing at where they are now. I'm still speechless every time a crowd goes ballistic for us..."

"You shouldn't be though! You thoroughly deserve it! Even Johnny Depp, who doesn't usually speak about other celebrities, called you a musical genius, stage icon, and voice of the decade...Truly, you should be so proud of how far you've come from singing in your complex's basment."
