T̴̪̍̓́͋̽̾ ẽ̷̛̪̬̤̹̩̬͙̪͆̂̐́̚͠ n̸̨̖̬̥̖̦͈̆̽͂̀̂͒̚̕͝ ķ̸̰̩̻̮̫͓̹͊͌̔̇͋͒̎͜͝͠ ớ̸̢̝̹̫̖̦̬͎̤̇͝ :

There was an explosion. That much is clear.

He vaguely remembers talking to Kayama and Yamada about something menial while the kids messed on behind the bar. It was a good night, he thinks, one of the best in a while. It really is such a shame it ended with him inhaling a mouth full of concrete dust.

After the explosion, his memory gets foggy. The explosion itself though, very clear, almost too clear. Clear to the point where T̷͍̟̿ȩ̷͎̓͗̃n̷̼͙̄̕k̴͚̥͒o̴̳̜͌͑́ thinks it'll haunt his nightmares. Everything had been so normal and then it just hadn't. Sensei was there, he caused the bang. God, it was such a lethal show of power; he doesn't think anyone aside from himself and the league survived it.

Initially he had been knocked out, a stray chunk of wall clocking right in the back of the head shooting a piercing stab of pain into his eyes until his vision darkened. A small part of him wished his eyes stayed closed but no, consciousness gracefully returned to him with the added bonus of a searing headache.

The sight wasn't pretty. There was alot of red. Dust mixed with the metallic scent of blood creating a noxious scent that almost pushed the v̴̘̋i̷̟̔l̸̺̿l̵͔͑a̷̼̓i̴̲̋n̵̫͒?̵̯̅ right back into the inky void again. His heroes were splayed across the damged wooden floor all in various states of wellbeing varying from: shit to sickeningly shit.

It was this sight that made T̷͍̟̿ȩ̷͎̓͗̃n̷̼͙̄̕k̴͚̥͒o̴̳̜͌͑́ really associate the happy-go-lucky adults and kids he'd gotten to know with real heroes, trained to act in a split second in order to protect others. It was so obvious from the way Aizawa leapt in front of Yamada who tried to reach their son; he didn't make it. No, Hitoshi had cradled by Monoma while Kaminari lurched for Yamada's hand. Izuku Midoriya finally reached Bakugo's hand as they sank against the wall, fingers intertwined. Fuzzily, he could make out Dabi's shaking hands hovering above Todoroki while the remains of the ice chunk the halfa put up for protection melted away.

Kayama, Vlad and Thirteen had tried to reach the kids too. They also failed. The League was shell shocked and rightly so, this scene was something out of a horror movie; such a stark change from the earlier atmosphere of family like gatherings. He could see Sensei just hovering outside of the massive hole he created in T̷͍̟̿ȩ̷͎̓͗̃n̷̼͙̄̕k̴͚̥͒o̴̳̜͌͑́'s bar. The man looked proud, like he just succeeded at clay pidgeon shooting for the first time; thats all his friends were though, right? Clay Pigeons.

"Tomura." Sensei had said, gracefully floating down to the wooden floor, taking big, urgent strides toward T̷͍̟̿ȩ̷͎̓͗̃n̷̼͙̄̕k̴͚̥͒o̴̳̜͌͑́. "Are you finished playing now, my boy?" And that really said it all, didn't it? He didn't fool, Sensei all those weeks ago: Sensei had fooled him because Sensei knows everything, Sensei knew everything. The v̴̘̋i̷̟̔l̸̺̿l̵͔͑a̷̼̓i̴̲̋n̵̫͒?̵̯̅ was frozen, only able to swallow his own saliva thickly. He didn't mean to lead his heroes down the garden path, or maybe he subconsciously did.

Against what his heart was screaming, he dumbly nodded. Even if he didn't want to be done with his heroes, Sensei had broken them in a grand spectacle of crimson spray. The only person who wasn't among the fatally wounded heroes was Skeleton Man, part of T̷͍̟̿ȩ̷͎̓͗̃n̷̼͙̄̕k̴͚̥͒o̴̳̜͌͑́ really hopes he at least made it out.

Sensei smiled at him proudly, Tomura had always sought out such a smile from his master, going as far as to kill for it. T̷͍̟̿ȩ̷͎̓͗̃n̷̼͙̄̕k̴͚̥͒o̴̳̜͌͑́ thinks its actually a pretty sinister bearing of teeth in reality. 'Don't show him your hesitancy' a voice that sounded alot like his mother whispered. Tomura doesn't remember even having a mother but Te̷̓n̷̼̄̕k̴͒o̴͌͑́ was inclined to listen to the kind voice.

"That's good, Tomura. I always knew it was just a phase. Come with me now, i have a little gift for you. Think of it as a graduation ceremony for you as congratulations for you breaking such a childish habit."

Every bone in the bluenettes body screamed for him to try and run run run run run, even though he knew Sensei would never lay a finger on him. He just needs to conceal his hesitancy, just like the lady said. His brain knew this which is why it sent out the order to accept Sensei's hand; an order his arm begrudgingly followed. Sensei's smirk winded. "Say bye to your toys, now. We have a job to do after your party so we won't be returning."

He complied with no hesitation, turning to face the gut-wrenching scene once again. His own crimson eyes flitting towards Midnight's twitching hands and shallow breaths, aquatic blue slits were staring into his very soul and he hoped she could understand his want to be rescued. Still, he was happy she was alive, she wasn't ok, the bleeding gash along her stomach proved that but she was breathing; the hero had been like an older sister to him and maybe she could make it out with her life. 'She'll be okay, she can save you, they all can.' It was a different voice who spoke this time, high pitched with young age, it was probably Hana. To̴̳̜͌͑́mura doesn't know a girl by that name.

"I think you'll like what i have prepared." T̷e̷n̷̄k̴͒o̴͌ had never felt so young in his life, even when Sensei had first took Tomura in, the boy felt like a seasoned veteran after what he'd done to the Shimura's? Yet here he was, strolling hand in hand with the man he saved him, they were just walking together with no disguises around Kamino like they were just regular citizens.

Maybe the v̴̘̋i̷̟̔l̸̺̿l̵͔͑a̷̼̓i̴̲̋n̵̫͒?̵̯̅ would've felt relaxed if there weren't crumbling buildings around every corner, chorused by shrill shrieks of terror in the near distance. Immediately he knew this was Sensei's idea of a party and he was supposed to bask in the carnage. Just like mother? said, he plastered a grin across his face, stuffing his hesitancy deep down with his dread.

They arrived at the main area quickly, it was a space where all the nearby buildings had been leveled, swept away by one of Sensei's powerful blasts he used back at the bar. The man looked at his protege, giving him a once over from underneath his mask before settling with the boys lack of hesitancy to be near his Sensei. (Good job, Ten, you're doing perfect!).

With a ruffle of his scraggly blue hair, Sensei used one of his many quirks to create a pillar of dust and concrete; it wasn't a massive pillar just big enough to get a full view of the city he had a hand in destroying. It rose up with Sensei and himself,  settled on top, the former grinning at the sound of death. T̷͍̟̿ȩ̷͎̓͗̃n̷̼͙̄̕k̴͚̥͒o̴̳̜͌͑́ isn't sure he wants this anymore, maybe Tomura did, but he didn't. Maybe he shouldn't of disobeyed, He shouldn't of disobeyed. ₒᵣ ₘₐybₑ ₕₑ ₛₕₒᵤₗd'ᵥₑ ₗᵢₑd bₑₜₜₑᵣ.

But what could he do? He was just a villa̷̼̓i̴̲̋n̵̫͒–

"AYO, HAND FETISH!" No, way. He thinks he must be hallucinating more because that sounded alot like‐ "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU STILL UP THERE WITH THAT ANCIENT PRICK WHEN WE'RE RIGHT HERE?"

T̷e̷n̷k̴o̴'s eyes prickled with tears at the sight of heroes, all of them here alive, a little worse for wear but alive nonetheless. Kayama grinned up at him, clutching her lower abdomen where blood slowly trickled down. "WELL? DON'T KEEP US WAITING!"

"Tomura. Don't ruin your party by falling into old habits." He winced, he'd showed his hesitancy but he really wanted to hug his big sister. More than he wanted to stay with All For One. However, he knew if he made a move there'd be another hole in her stomach, twice the size of the previous one.

Izuku Midoriya was there too, still gripping Bakugo's wrist like the blonde would disappear if he let go. Still, he held the same determined expression the bluenette had grown to appreciate. "Let us save you, Tenko!" As he spoke blood trickled smoothly from the crown of his head to the corner of his chapped mouth.

And well, didn't those words awake something inside of him. Something Tomura thought was gone forever. He awakened the small boy who dreamed of being a hero with his sister. He awakened Tenko Shimura, and Tenko was not a villain.

"Who gives a shit about heroes and villains?" Bakugo huffed, trying and failing to release himself from Izuku's iron grip.

"We're cool right? Plus i still need to beat you at scrabble– ow Neito don't hit me, jerk." Hitoshi shouted with a very Aizawa like smile. Tenko snorted, feeling himself getting closer to the edge of the pillar, ready to return home.

"Let's go home, Tenko." Yamada smiled, adjusting his grip on his still unconscious husband. "There's plenty of room, you know?"

The more able bodied of his heroes opened their arms, ready to catch him and beckoning him to join them. Tenko swallowed the lump in his throat with a teary eyed smile and jumped.

Faintly he could hear All For One roar in the background. "Tomura, don't you dare. You are mine. You always have been."

The not-a-villain pushed down all his fear and returned the mans venomous gaze with one of his own. "No, Tomura died of gunshot wounds after the USJ attack. Go to hell, bastard." Ok maybe that wasn't the beSt mOvE because now the ancient villain was out for blood.

"Ok ok, what now?" Kaminari laughed nervously, pulling clots of blood out of his yellow hair with a gag. "I didn't do very well in the 80m sprint you know?" There was more urgency in his voice as he recalled how badly he flopped.

The pillar that Tenko had just been standing on collapsed in a tidal wave of dust, enveloping the heroes and making them cough. The bluenette could distantly hear Kayama curse in between each cough about how bad this was for her stomach hole. Whatever makes her happy. "Ah fuck, we're screwed." Vlad King supplied with a deadpan.

The dust continued to billow around the group, the sound of All For One's monologue scratching against their ears as they huddled together. Tenko hadn't wished for All Might's help in a long time but he felt it was necessary at this point. "ALL MIGHT YOU BUFFALO LOOKING ASS BITCH, A LITTLE HELP OVER HERE? PLEASE." The words ripped raw from his throat and he saw the kids look at him with smug grins.

It appeared to be absolutely futile as All For One mashed several quirks together charging a mega hit. Tenko braced, waiting for impact as his angry Sensei shot something akin to energy charged sharpened bones their way. Only nothing ever made contact.

Out of the plume of dust, All Might himself dashed forward to negate the blast. His own eyes glowing a haunting blue against the inky sclera. "Everything is okay now, Tenko. Why?"

"Because you're here." Tenko breathed shakily, collapsing backwards onto Kayama as All Might's final battle unfolded before his very eyes.

Because you're here...

Originally, this chapter was going to be about Midnight fist fighting Shigaraki after the defeat of AFO but i prefer this way to be honest.

It's the death of Shiggy and the birth of Shimmy. Rejoice for our son has been saved :)

This was the original header asbjhsbj. I might make a bonus chapter to use it. Stan Tenko and Midnight's relationship for clear skin~
