Weird were the ways of the world. And more so the laws that governed the world. Jimin found himself trapped in the misconceptions of the world for a long time, until his soulmate came along.

A sweet creature who showed Jimin what it was to let go of a few uptight wrong laws for the betterment of their lives. But it wasn't all this happy before. This carefree love they had blossomed from the depths of hatred.

Hatred towards each other.
Hatred towards themselves.
Hatred at the situation they were stuck in.

-

A young boy of 19 years had stepped inside the university, with hopes of having a blast in his newly found adult life. Studies, parties, friends, movies and more was all he ever imagined. Except along the way he found someone, an enemy to be exact.

"Yah! Don't you have any better business than snooping around me?"
Jimin screamed at the curly haired boy who stood by the door of his room.

"I'm not fuckin' around with your business. So stop accusing me."
Taehyung yelled back with an finger pointed at the black haired boy.

Jimin and Taehyung.

The iconic duo.

Not for being the best of friends, but the best of enemies.

They would never leave a chance to bicker and fight. Sometimes getting too physical. They had enough hospital trips to prove that as well. The whole college knew about their feud. But to be real between you and me, the reason for this tension was never known. It just so happened they disliked the other's presence.

"Oh yes you do. You are so obsessed with me that it's fucking stalker like now."
Jimin crossed his arms as he found Taehyung stumbling to get out from the corridor.

"Bullshit! Just coz you are the main bitch here doesn't mean I fear your accusations."
Taehyung raised his eyebrow with a smirk on his face, as if to challenge the other's authority, before walking away.

Four years passed by too quickly, with their fights becoming irregular as Taehyung had avoided Jimin like the plague. Maybe Jimin did deserve it. But, it was complicated for the black haired boy, who now had a ash grey hair.

Got into a decent job, Jimin had left that life behind. The one which involved the university, friends and most importantly his enemy Taehyung.

"Park Jimin."
A deep voice startled Jimin as he walked out of his office building.

Turning around, he saw the face that he had almost come to forget. It was almost dramatic, as the sky was grey with heavy clouds and the strong breeze that rustled had the peculiar scent of the rain that was hey to come.

"Kim Taehyung."
Jimin recovered quickly and greeted the other with a handshake. Taehyung had grown up too well. His light brown contacts, blond mullet hair, and broad shoulders all shining bright in front of him.

"How have you been?"
Jimin took upon himself to continue the conversation.

"Oh yeah, been good. Job, girlfriend, and all. What about you?"
Taehyung answered with a calm demeanor.

"Uh yeah, never been better."

Jimin lied through his perfectly white teeth. He gulped down the knot in his throat, as he heard Taehyung say girlfriend. But Jimin didn't understand as to why it would affect him if his past 'enemy' had a relationship. He was so deep in the thoughts and memories of the past, that he didn't notice the skies getting heavier.

It had already started raining down heavily, and all Jimin could see was the fading silhouette of Taehyung who ran to the nearby bus shelter. Jimin followed suit quickly as he didn't want to ruin his expensive suit. As they silently shuffled under the shelter, Jimin couldn't help but feel the awkward silence between them. And he had no idea, as to how he could dissolve this. This bubbling feeling in his gut.

"Jimin, can I ask you something?"
Taehyung quietly whispered, which was almost inaudible with the rain that pattered over the asbestos roof.

"Yeah?"
Jimin replied all while trying to dry his wet hair. The rain had messed up his fluffy black hair.

"Why did you hate me?"
Taehyung asked nearing the other with slow steps, with an intimidating stare.

"I... I don't know."
Jimin answered feeling suffocated and ashamed all of a sudden under the shelter and rain.

Okay, maybe I was wrong.

A little bit of a reason did exist. And Jimin knew it too well, but he refused to accept it. He was respected among his friends in college. Had an impeccable record in everything including, the part of catching the ladies and gents like Pokemon. He was the star, ran the college with everyone by his feet.

And that was threatened by the entry of this handsome sharp jawline-d male. Jimin knew how everyone were going behind that Taehyung. How everyone loved him more. And that scared the living shit out of him.

But looking back, it was funny. How did Jimin even become this narrow-minded human, when he was always the ever-loving and ever-sweet guy?

The world is to be blamed. For it taught him that vulnerability will only push you down. Where kindness is stomped upon and love is crushed into pieces. Therefore Jimin had to toughen up. Had to make the world his show. The hard way.

"I wouldn't have hated you, if you didn't do that to me. Accuse me, really?"
Taehyung asked with a sorrow gleam in his eyes.

"I... I wish I didn't. I was stupid."
Jimin couldn't hold the eye contact any longer and thus, steering away to look at his shivering hands.

"I wish that too. Maybe then we would not be stuck here like this."
Taehyung breathed out against Jimin's face.

How did they end up like this? Where was all that bubbling dislike towards the other? Did age bring the best out of them? Why was Jimin getting all hot and bothered by someone he could barely stand? And why was Taehyung twisting his words?

Guess we will never know.

"What do you mean?"
Jimin asked as the words that were uttered didn't sound that good.

"If we didn't have that stupid beef going on, I would have confessed to you."
Taehyung whispered, turning back to get away from the shorter.

"What the actual fuck?"
Jimin yelled with shock and bewilderment in his voice.

"Nothing just forget it."
Taehyung shook his head, silently cursing himself for opening up.

He had managed to keep it for so long, why now, you may ask.

Because he was tired of the feeling eating him for the past four years.

"No I will not. Tell me."
Jimin stubbornly pulled the boy to face him.

"You'll hate me more. So just... Let me be."
Taehyung mumbled with a soft disheartened voice.

"Kim Taehyung SPILL!"
Jimin yelled before taking the other's collar in his pale fingers. All Jimin wanted was for the younger to look right in his eyes and repeat his words.

"What do you want me to say? That I fucking loved you? That I never hated you? That you were my first crush? I loved you for god's sake. So much so that I couldn't forget you after all these years. And just because of that stupid conceptions of yours, I lost a chance with you. I loved you goddamn it. I still do."

Taehyung shouted pouring his entire feelings. He was frustrated as Jimin hadn't seen it all these years. Taking off Jimin's smaller hands away from his suit, the taller adjusted his collar, giving enough time for the other to sink in the words. The boy stood frozen not knowing what to think or say.

"Why? Why me? I mean I hated you. Fought with you."

Jimin whispered as he realised the gravity of the situation. He couldn't believe his ears for what Taehyung had just confessed.

"Because I saw the real you. When you would feed the stray cats by the alleyway. When you would leave water bottles by your roommates' table. When you took the blame for my mistake in the final year. I saw you. Not the park Jimin that fought with me."

Jimin had tears in his eyes as Taehyung finished the monologue. The best monologue he had ever heard.

Before he could turn to reply appropriately, a set of thin soft lips crashed into his plump ones. And with that were two large hands, that found his chest to ground himself. Taehyung didn't spare a single second in between, as Jimin was also equally enthusiastic about the kiss.

The rain acting like the background music to this sweet moment between the two. Jimin felt goosebumps raise all over his body as he got lost in Taehyung's addictive touches. Feeling the need for an oxygen break, both of them moved apart only to be connected by their foreheads against each other.

"Aren't you cheating by doing this?"
Jimin asked curiously, still trying relve in the other.

"I lied. I don't have a girlfriend."
Taehyung chuckled, knowing full well that Jimin was thinking too hard.

"Oh, you sly bastard."
Jimin laughed throwing his head back, with his cheeks still damp and wet from the tears.

"Shut up and kiss me."
Taehyung demanded, with red cheeks. He didn't expect the other to confess back or even acknowledge his talk, as he knew by the look in Jimin's eyes that he too felt the same.

Soulmate connection.

-

"Babe?"
Jimin was startled by Taehyung's hand on his face. He was too lost in his thoughts to even recognise that the other had come back home.

Jimin had arrived home earlier today and wanted to rest for a while before Taehyung came. And instead of resting, he reeled back and dwelled in the memories of the past. Especially of how Taehyung entered in his life yet again. It had been two years since they got together.

"Yeah, Tae?"
Jimin smiled nuzzling into Taehyung's rather big hands. Jimin loved the boy with all his heart.

"Too lost in thoughts?"
Taehyung asked with an inviting smirk.

"Nah, what did you need?"
The shorter asked. Jimin could've said the real reason behind his daydreaming, but those memories were too dear.

"I have a suprise for you. Put on your wedding suit for me please?"
Taehyung asked with an adorable pout.

Ah, yes! We forgot the teeny part where the two had put the rings six months ago. They found comfort in each other, and this decided to actually get married.

"Ugh, you and your stupid pout."
Jimin tried to look angry, failing miserably only to peck the younger's nose. Which in turn made Taehyung chuckle.

Soon Jimin found himself seated on the edge of the bed with his dark blue embroidered suit on. He was filled with more interest as to what the younger had planned. But he wasn't left alone too long, as a soft satin cloth was placed above his eyes, only to be fastened tightly.

"Taetae, why are you blind folding me?"
Jimin asked, trying to grip the nearest object. Except he found Taehyung's dainty hands.

"It's a suprise, love."
Taehyung whispered along his ear shell. The dark haired boy could almost feel the other's smirk.

Jimin felt Taehyung's body slowly guide him to another place carefully. Taehyung made sure to steer clear of any furniture that could possibly hurt his husband.

"Open your pretty eyes, please."
Taehyung spoke sweetly as Jimin removed the black satin and let his eyes adjust to the bright light.

Few seconds in, Jimin saw the candles that were randomly place along the floor lines. He saw the white daffodils that Taehyung had bought specifically for him. Jimin saw the man of his dreams, in front of him with a similar dark green suit as him, with fluffy curly brown hair and most importantly the boxy smile he showed.

"Baby... I..."
Jimin stumbled upon his voice. Yet again his soulmate had left him in adoration and shock.

"You don't have to say anything. I actually want you to listen to me. Yeah?"
Taehyung spoke as he placed his large palms against the other's waist.

"Hmm..."
Jimin hummed in agreement.

"I know our start wasn't the best. I mean we were enemies for universe's sake. And more so hated each other. I was too big of a coward to even come clean and confess. I also know you regret your behaviour. But, please don't be hard on yourself. That was the past. I loved you then. I love you now. I will love you forever. No matter what."

Taehyung spoke dearly. His eyes twinkled with honesty and love for the confession he had made just now.

"Kim Taehyung, you can't do this. So you even know how much my heart hurts with all this?"
Jimin spoke looking playfully offended, with a hand on his in chest. He had a thin layer of tears coating his brown irises.

Taehyung smiled, after which reached beside Jimin to switch on a melodious piano piece. Slowly placing his hands back in their rightful position being Jimin's shoulders and waist, Taehyung grinned widely. Jimin followed suit accordingly, and soon started dancing softly.

The soft movements of just swaying their two bodies that had become one in love. And physically as there was literally no space between them. Lost in each other's eyes, it felt as if the world had stopped for them. As if everything else were the side characters in their movie.

Getting impatient with the not-so visible separation in the distance between them, Taehyung laid his head on Jimin's shoulders. Jimin ran his fingers through the younger's fluffy hair. Humming along, Jimin pecked the other's nose just like old times.

"I love you Taehyungie. I love you so much."

Jimin professed again to Taehyung, who looked pleased with his effective suprise.

Finally sealing the night with a beautiful innocent kiss, Jimin and Taehyung danced through the night with the endless looped music playing in the background. This was their safety bubble and no one could hurt them there. Not even themselves.

How was this? :((

Just a honest question, how can an author increase viewership?
