•Kisses and cuddles - 1•

Starting note:

The series will look into their lives as part of a oneshot. We wanted to make it as realistic as possible, hence the breakdowns and work stress. Majority relationships do not live on only one's salary. So, we didn't put the sugar daddy-babyboy relationship. Or top/bottom situation either.

Getting a coffee for the other was just their way of expressing the love. Jimin was on his way to prepare the same and serve it to Hoseok. They had recently moved to the new neighborhood, after receiving backlash from their respective families.

The reason being they were fucking gay and stupidly in love with each other.

Was it so bad to love Hoseok?

Jimin wondered on this for long. But the outcome each time was NO. It was a beautiful and wonderful feeling to fall in love. To experience that fluttering and beating of hearts.

They actually fell in love not because of the mere attraction towards each other's hot and sexy toned bodies. They proved everyone wrong who spoke that 'looks can land you the first date, and personality an entire life.' They had fallen over and over only for each other's nature and characteristics.

"Hobi baby! I've got your cappuccino."
Jimin called out sweetly, only to find Hoseok coming inside the house with a sweet mocha in hand.

"Oh no! Both of us-"
Hoseok never completed that statement, as it was cut off by Jimin's angelic laugh. Which provoked Hoseok to join him as well.

Hoseok could never get tired of listening to the ripples of giggles that ensued. He could never miss the halo surrounding Jimin's blonde hair, that made him look like an angel fairy. He could never imagine a life without Jimin. His life would sure be incomplete without Jimin by his side. How could he gain the strength to face the world if his heart was incomplete?

Calming down from the laughing fit, Jimin found himself being the apple of Hoseok's eye. Oh, how he loved the feeling of Hoseok simply zoning out, lost in Jimin!

"Hyung? What happened?"
Jimin chirped up with a sweet tone.

"Oh nothing, bubba. Just wondering what I did in my past life to get such an angel in my life."
Hoseok answered still in a hazy daze of the dream called Park Jimin.

"Stop being so chessy hyung!"
Jimin blushed trying to cover his face with his tiny hands.

"Okay ... Well, if we both got each other's favourite drink, then we should give it to them right?"
Hoseok stated the obvious, with a brow raised. Making him look like a downright snack.

"Yeah! With a special suprise as well."
Jimin agreed, smirking slightly.

"What suprise?"
Hoseok stood confused, as there wasn't any prior occassion like an anniversary or so.

"This!"

Jimin moved towards Hoseok with a beautiful smile on his face. Leaning a little forward Jimin's lips savoured Hoseok's. It was unexpected for Hoseok as he knew the younger was a little bit fussy for morning kisses. But, here he was, on the receiving end.

Without wasting a moment, Hoseok placed the cup in his hand onto the table top nearby. Kissing Jimin deeply, trying to express all those hidden love and care he had for the other, Hoseok's arms looped around Jimin's neck. While the blonde haired boy held onto the other's waist.

Wonderfully matching each other, just like this, they never found the need to fulfill anything.

Atleast that's what they believed. Hoseok believed enough for both of them.

But, Jimin had conflicted feelings for someone else. He had tried to forget those heart-crushing weight. He tried to forget everything that made him feel burdened with that weight.

For now, Jimin wanted to forget it all, as he revelled in Hoseok's warmth.

"Minnie, I'm gonna have breakfast on my way to work. And I think I'm getting super late, so bye bye baby."
Grabbing the keys and bag, Hoseok kissed Jimin's plump red lips one last time before rushing out of their home.

"Stay safe love."

Jimin had a holiday from work today. The reason being he had worked 3 days straight in the studio to get some music tracks right. Though, all he wanted was to snuggle in with his boyfriend, he knew better. And that with the fact that their groceries are depleting.

Dressing up in brown baggy pants and white hoodie, Jimin drove his car to the supermarket. Reading out the list by himself, he put the required things in the shopping cart.

The day had gone pretty well, atleast until now. Until he noticed that someone at the counter helping an old lady with her bag. Until that said person turned around to give a special smile on seeing him. Until his heart started speeding up just like before. Until the guilt started building up again.

Yoongi.

Yoongi was their neighbour. Oh, he was no bother to anyone. He kept to himself most of times. He was a complicated person in general. Like every human, he had two facets. One that was more dominant and known to the whole world. One that was hidden from everyone's eyes. One that craved for attention.

"Can you please check this out quickly?"
Jimin rushed the cashier to get it done soon, so that he could go back to his place.

"S-sure."
The cashier agreed unsuredly seeing the man in front who was shaking with panicked eyes.

Soon, with everything done, Jimin drove back home, with an unknown rise in anxiety. He didn't know why it happened. Or he didn't want to accept why it happened to him.

He had ran away from Yoongi.
From the intoxicating feeling which had started building in his heart.

And so with his mood going to an all time low, he curled up in bed, with his pillows and blankets. He had neither eaten anything nor cooked anything. For his appetite was long lost in his thought process.

Later in the evening, Hobi came home to closed doors and windows. He had atleast expected his fluffy puppy jumping into his arms. That was what both of them did to the other when they were in a day off.

It was dead silent as if the ghosts from the grave had rosen up. The reason being unknown, he unlocked the door. Treading carefully with small steps, he found a small lump on the couch.

And that lump was his favourite person wrapped in all the best ways like a newborn baby. Fearing that Jimin might have gotten sick, Hoseok put his hand on Jimin's forehead. And it seemed quite normal.

Dismissing Jimin's unusual sleeping habit, he went off to have quick shower. Later on, he dressed up in some black shorts and white tee. His stomach had been grumbling for long, and when he reached the kitchen to get some food, he found it to be in the exact same condition as in the morning.

He knew Jimin wasn't a big fan of outside meals. He liked it home cooked and it was mostly Hoseok who did that. Especially since, Jimin's work required a lot more than Hobi in general.

"Jimin! Minnie."
Hoseok called for his boyfriend.

"Uh, who is it?"
Jimin woke himself up at the familiarly unfamiliar voice.

"Min, it's me. What did you have for breakfast?"
Hoseok spoke as he came into view from inside the kitchen.

"Umm..."
Jimin hesitated as he had no answer to be exact.

"And for lunch?"
Hoseok asked again as he sat on the floor on his heels in front of Jimin. Looking up at the distressed boy, Hoseok put his hands on Jimin's knees as a sense of comfort flooded through the other.

"Uh..."
Jimin once again made a small noise of confusion.

"So, you didn't eat food. Are you feeling alright?"
Hoseok questioned as he slowly let his fingers smoothen Jimin's bread cheeks. Especially after having woken up, Jimin looked extra cute.

"Yeah, I'm good. Sorry for not preparing anything."
Jimin apologized with eyes onto the floor beside Hoseok.

"Baby, I don't mind it at all. All I care is the fact that you didn't have food all day."
Hoseok stood up abruptly to hug the younger. The night which fell, also closed the topic until long.

***

Many days passed, almost a month, but Hoseok never knew the reason for Jimin's melancholic aura. That which could suffocate a million soldiers. That which made him sad right where it hurted.

He tried his best.
He tried his best not to fall down.
He tried to carry their shared relationship's weight on his own.
He tried to make him happy.

Jimin would go to work regularly, not taking a break, get home late at night. He didn't even snuggle into Hoseok's inviting arms. He hadn't even eaten the lunches that Hoseok prepared specifically for him. He hasn't kissed Hoseok since forever. And the list goes on.

Hobi wasn't angry on Jimin for the fact he hadn't paid attentive on his boyfriend. But for not paying attention to himself. His sleep schedule was messed. He had been drinking a lot of coffee. Hadn't eaten proper food. Hadn't been on track.

He felt sorry for Jimin. But whenever Hoseok approached Jimin, he would turn away or busy himself with something else. Their relationship right now was like, dead leaves on a wilting tree.

And Hobi had reached his limits today.

After another exhausting day, without Hoseok actually not by his side, Jimin came home only wanted to lie down. The pain of letting go the feelings he had developed over the course of time was difficult as it is. But then, separating yourself from the only person who kept you stable was even more excruciating. More hurtful. More heartbreaking.

"AH!!"
Jimin shouted loudly as someone pulled him inside just as he entered the house.

"Hyung?"
Jimin asked as he was sat on the couch by Hoseok who towered over him. Yes, the latter was angry, but that doesn't mean he'll hurt his boyfriend.

"Stop calling me Hyung now. And listen to me...or else I'll become a puddle of uwus."
Hoseok bit his tongue not to let the last parts of the sentence continue. Seeing Jimin's round gleaming eyes, he felt the immediate urge to crush him with love.

"Okay hyung"
Jimin spoke with a nervous going in his movements. Forgoing the thought of Hoseok not telling Jimin to call Hoseok "hyung".

"What the hell is wrong with you?"
Hoseok shouted as he got back into character. The one that was currently upset over Jimin.

"..."
Jimin didn't answer confused and upset.

"It's been a month since you fell asleep on this couch and ever since you haven't spoken to me properly. Did I do something wrong?"
Hoseok asked nervously though the realisation stuck to him at this moment.

"N-no."
Jimin stuttered nervously wiping his hands on the jeans he had worn.

"Then what is it? Why are we acting like divorced couple living under one roof? Why are you avoiding me? Why aren't you taking care of yourself?"
Hoseok exploded with a slight frown in between his eyebrows.

"B-because I did something wrong. Something sinful. Something that is wrong."
Jimin answered looking down. He felt like digging a hole right then and there. And jump into it to never come back again.

"Baby, no. You can never do anything like that. Tell me what it is, I'll help you. I promise you."
Hoseok softened his tone, though he was utterly in chaos as to what Jimin insuiated.

"No.. you can't... You'll be disgusted by me. You'll leave me alone. I'll be alone. I don't want to be alone."
Jimin mumbled repeatedly with his fists curled up into small balls. He was trying hard not to break down right then there.

"Honeypie, calm down."
Hoseok spoke, letting go of his small grudge. He sat himself beside Jimin to comfort the other.

"NO!! Don't touch me. I don't deserve your care. I'm a cheater. A bad guy."
Jimin shouted loudly. Though, liking Yoongi while being in love with Hoseok was bad as it is, it was worse now that he admitted to it indirectly.

"C-cheater?"
Hoseok furrowed his brows. And hearing his boyfriend's disappointed voice, Jimin sprinted out of the home with no shoes.

"No don't run baby."
Hoseok snapped out of his temporary daze to see his lovely Jimin run off.

Following him right behind, the only concern running in Hoseok's head was to keep Jimin safe. Was to not let him get hurt. Not that he had kind of received the biggest shock in his life.

He knew Jimin would never cheat on him. He knew that Jimin still loved him. Especially the small letters he left by his bedside on the daily. Even when they had abruptly stopped talking.

He knew something was wrong. But that Jimin wasn't in the wrong. He wanted to trust his gut which indicated the same. Running behind the disappearing figure in the dead of the night, Hoseok stumbled in front of someone too familiar for his liking.

Jimin?
