It's been a year since the two of them had become a couple. Oh they had the best kind of confession of love. It was simple, yet sweet. Having been friends for three years in total, each one of them had fallen for the cute antics of the other.

Be it Hoseok's special smiles and glances reserved for the black haired boy or Taehyung's subtle need for affection and attention from the other. Giving up his coat, ordering the less spicy food, and a milkshake. All for Taehyung. Of course them being so obliviously obvious in love was frustrating for their friends.

Not being able to hold it for more longer, Taehyung proposed to the older boy who gladly accepted the offer of being his boyfriend. With that started their sappy love which was indeed beautiful. Taehyung would always be his carefree baby self with Hoseok who loved pampering the other.

Every holiday they got together would be spend well with relaxing time. Over time they learnt the balance of communication and adoration. This resulted in no real fights between them. It was cute with them being all over each other, fussing about how the other should care for his health.

This year though, both of them were working individuals of high calibre. The year wrapping up only led to excess work load causing less time together. But none of them complained at all. Afterall, they couldn't exactly oppose.

Hoseok was a little better off for he got a two days off to relax the stress in his bones. Managing and keeping everything in check was a big responsibility. But somehow, Hoseok was free for the new year's.

Taehyung on the other hand, was loaded with more work. The architectural designs didn't match with the client's needs. And this was making him grab and pull off all his hair. Frustrated, with less than 6 hours of sleep for the whole 2 days, he was going crazy.

He hadn't spared a minute for himself or his boyfriend, Hoseok. He was a little guilty for not paying attention to the other. But he also knew the older was very considerate and supportive of his career choices. Hoseok was more than proud of Taehyung for his accomplishments.

With the work done for the day, Hoseok was notified on his phone that today was new year's Eve. Damn! He was so engrossed in work and other activities, he had forgotten the year had come to an end.

Coming back home, hoseok finally took notice of the house, dimly lit with a gloomy aura. Of course, none of them had spared the time to decorate the house or celebrate christmas. As for Christmas, Hoseok had to go to out of the country for business purposes.

Quietly removing his shoes, Hoseok came inside his shared room with Tae, to find the younger dozed off on the study table. All papers scattered, laptop still blinking it's blue light, the pencils and scales strewn around. It was more of a work table, but yeah you get the picture. And in between the whole mess was a sleepy baby with his glasses still on.

Hoseok couldn't stop himself from coping and get a photo for his collection. Taehyung's face chubby and cute, his eyes closed as the deprived sleep made way, his lips all red and pouty and his fists rolled around the pencil. But on clear notice, Hoseok could see the pale skin, dark circles around his eyes and chapped edges of the lips.

It was also clear that his baby hadn't been taking care of himself. And that only called for more attention and pampering. With great struggle, Hoseok was able to gently wake the other up.

"Baby... Honey... Bubba..."
Hoseok's calm voice made the other lull to sleep even more. His headspace all fuzzy and warm.

"Hmm?"
Taehyung's deep voice made Hoseok smile in content. It was one of the things that he loved of his boyfriend.

"Wake up! I've got a suprise."
Hoseok cheerfully exclaimed, which made the younger jump up.

"SUPRISE?"
Taehyung grinned which could make anyone's heart flutter.

"Yeah, come on before that we need to get you all ready."
Hoseok explained calmly.

"Carry me... Please!"
Taehyung pouted cutely making it irresistible for the older to not obey his wish.

"Awww..."
The blond haired male cooed before picking up Taehyung, who easily wrapped his limbs around Hoseok's toned waist and neck.

Pecking the thin rosy lips, Hoseok set the course to washroom. He put in some bubble bombs in the bath tub that was filling up with hot water. Baths are relaxing and comforting. And given the cold weather, hot water was the best option.

Leaving Taehyung inside, Hoseok moved out to give some privacy. By the time Taehyung would be finished, Hoseok was all ready to bundle up his baby with the fluffiest white and light blue sweaters, gloves and socks.

His plan was quite simple. Just a dinner in the local restaurant, and maybe some street shopping. But it was more than enough for the both of them.

Taehyung smiled softly after feeling the warm atmosphere inside the bath. Oh it had been weeks since he had such a long drawn bath. He had managed to survive with showers on the daily.

Getting out of the bath before his skin turned all wrinkly, he called for his hyung for the towel wasn't in the exact place. Hoseok soon came in sight with a pale yellow smooth towel. Drying the younger's poodle hair was one of the most relaxing moments for both of them.

And that was what Hoseok did while humming a tune.

Getting all dressed up, the two leave their shared apartment after locking it. Hoseok too had some fluffy light green coat to keep himself out of the risk of catching a cold.

"Now hyung, what's the suprise?"
Taehyung asked all eager and jumpy.

"Nothing much, just a dinner and a small shopping spree."
Hoseok answered the younger who awed at everything around him. Holed up in his place for work, he had forgotten the simple joys of the world around him.

It was like the stress that had been built up over the past weeks, all the tiredness faded into the background with each step taken. Especially with his hand in Hoseok's.

Clutching the other's soft hands, Taehyung smiled fondly before kissing his boyfriend. Today was new year's Eve, and he had made a resolution which he was adamant on fulfilling it.

"Love his other half to infinity and beyond."

Feeding each other some miso soup and Jjajangmyeon which was basically noodles, meat and vegetables with pretty love eyes was such a beautiful sight to behold. Both of them didn't speak much as the silence that filled was more than enough to comfort them.

"Baby"
Hoseok called out after editing the restaurant soon to reach the street shops.

"Yes seokie."
Taehyung asked softly cuddling up against the older for the want of warmth.

"Wanna get some ice cream?"
Hoseok asked with much excitement.

"It's cold."
Taehyung pointed out with stern eyes.

"But that's the fun of it."
Hoseok whined lowly which made the younger chuckle after rolling his eyes.

"Okay hyung, but then can we also have some hot chocolate?"
Taehyung approached a slight deviation of the plan.

"Sure Taetae."
Hoseok giggled before ordering a black current and strawberry flavoured icecreams.

Sure it was chilling, teeth biting cold outside, but ice cream is something Hoseok loved. And what better time than the winter. Ice creams in summers was overrated.

Licking onto the cone in hand, the hot choco strayed away from their minds. With great concentration and lots of pouting adorably the both of them completed the full come which resulted in a slight brain freeze.

"Hyung, let's go."
See now, the plan got deviated once again.

Hoseok's original plan was to cuddle his boyfriend in the heater room of his apartment. But Taehyung had come across an abandoned playground. And like the kid trapped in a 26 year old's body, he jumped and danced at the sight of the first snow.

The snow looked so pure like Taehyung's eyes. It looked so serene, like Hoseok's expression on seeing his beloved relieving the worked up stress.

Making snow angels and snowballs for the fun of it, Taehyung joined Hoseok on the bench, who seemed more tired than usual, as it was passed his night time.

"Seokie Hyung, I know you planned all this for me. And I also know you take care of me a lot. I'm guilty at times for not being able to reciprocate it. I even forgot today was new year's Eve. I love you for suprising me, lovin' me and pampering me with affection. Thank you for all that... I purple you hyung!"
Taehyung grinned after completing his words.

"Awwie baby, don't feel guilty. You show your affection and love in different ways like that one day, you made me lunch, or when you planned a trip to Jeju, and especially when you kiss my worries. So let me care for you. I love you too for everything you've done and for everything you are. I purple you too."

Hoseok spoke softly while being held by Taehyung who sighed in relief. Pressing a kiss on the older's forehead, Taehyung tightened his hold on the other. It was as if he didn't want to let go of Hobi.

The two of them were in a world made of rose glass. Not because it was magical or fragile, but because their love was strong enough to strengthen their world. Hoseok made his body comfortable in Taehyung's hold. It was more than nice and comfortable.

Relaxing.
Lovely.
Cosy.
Cute.
Soft.

Taehyung's work long forgotten as the two enjoyed the snowfall in each other's arms. This was by far the best new year's party for both of them.
