It was time really late, 2:00am to be exact." I'm going to bed Valt, see you in the morning." Shu says. He yawns and lays at the end of Valt's bed. Valt pulled Shu's arm." You don't need to sleep down there Shu." Valt said with a small grin. Shu looks at Valt and smiles." Um..Okay. I'll sleep up there with you then." He says. Shu crawls up to the other side of Valt and lays down. Valt stretches out." What a day. Are you staying tomorrow?" Valt asks Shu. He shrugs and looks at Valt." I hope." He says.

"Let's go to sleep." Shu says. He looks at the time and turns to Valt." Are you gonna sleep Valt?" Shu says tugging on Valt's shirt. Valt nods and tries to sleep.

In Valt's Dream

"Shu! Where are you going!" Valt says to him.

"Valt come here!" Shu says putting his arms out.

Valt runs to him and hugs him. Shu hugs back.

"Please don't tell me your leaving me..are you?" Valt asks him.

He then feels tiny wet drops on his skin. Why was Shu crying.

"I'm gonna miss you Valt.." Shu says hugging him tighter.

Valt starts to cry."Shu..why are you saying this?! Please-" Valt was cut off. Shu was getting pulled away from him.

"Valt!" Shu shouts." Shu!!" Valt exclaimed. Valt starts to hug tighter.

"I'm not letting you go Shu!! I need you!" Valt says crying into his chest. Shu starts to cry and holds onto Valt tighter.

"Don't let him take me away Valt! I wanna stay here with you Valt!" Shu says getting pulled more.

Valt couldn't hold onto Shu..he was taken from him. Valt ran and ran to find Shu. He was being thrown in a car.

"VALT!" Shu yells to him. The man closes the door and heads to the driver side of the car.

Valt ran towards the car and tried to open the door."Shu I'm here! Open the door please!" He says desperately trying to open the door.

But he couldn't..the man drove off with Shu..leaving Valt alone.

"Shu..." Valt says crying.

The end of the dream

Valt woke up with tears running down his cheeks. He was worried. He turned to Shu and held him in his arms." Don't leave me Shu..please." he says. He let's him go and tries to sleep. Shu woke up too, but he didn't wake from a dream, he was worried about Valt."Valt what's wrong?" He asks. No answer."Valt..?" He says tugging on his shirt. No answer. He must be asleep. Shu wraps his arm around Valt." Valt please wake up." He says moving him a bit. Valt moves and turns to Shu with tears in his eyes." Shu please don't move away..I don't want to lose you." Valt says hugging him. Shu was shocked, what happened to him.

Shu Pov

I held Valt closer to me, leaving no space between us." It's okay Valt. We still have each other. No need to worry." I say to him. He hugs tighter." Someone was taking you away." He says. He's probably talking about my father, he did take me away from my mom. It took me so long to get away from him." Valt he won't take me away..I won't let it happen." I say holding him softly now. Valt falls asleep in my arms. I shift a little and lower my head into Valt's neck. I layed him down next to me." I hope your comfortable.." I say quietly in Valt's ear. Valt nods his head. I smiled at Valt and put my arm around him. I held him close to me..never letting go.

Time 4:55am

Morning ( Regular)

Shu was sleeping with Valt sleeping in his chest. They seemed comfortable. Valt woke up and saw Shu there with him." Good morning Shu." He says. Shu shifts a little and holds onto Valt tighter.

Shu's dream

"I need him. You can't take me away from him." Shu says to the man taking him away.

"You better listen to me Kurenai, your not gonna see that boy ever again! Hah, he should be dead for all I care!" The man says holding Shu by the neck.

Those words stabbed Shu in his heart, Why didn't anyone care about Valt!

"W..what is wrong with you! Valt is the greatest friend I've ever had! I care about Valt and I won't let someone like you take me away from him!" Shu says and he kicks the man in his chest.

The man let Shu go then Shu runs off to find Valt.

"VALT!" He yelled. He then sees a figure up ahead." V..valt?" Shu says as he slowly approaches the figure. He runs up and hugs the figure realizing it's Valt.

"Valt! I missed you so much! I won't ever leave your side agai-" Shu stops. He feels a wet substance on his shirt.

It was blood.

" S..shu.." Valt said weakly. Shu was feeling to many emotions but..most importantly, heartbreak.

Who would kill Valt Aoi...

"V..valt..No please tell me this is a joke!" Shu says shaking him a little.

It felt as if he was shaking a ragdoll. Valt was emotionless, pale, and..dead.

Shu cried and cried. Why did someone kill his friend.

"VALT!!" Shu says crying into Valt's corpse." Valt..." he says quietly.

"You didn't have to leave me.." he says with tears in his eyes.

The end of Shu's dream

Valt tried getting Shu's attention, but he couldn't." Shu please wake up!" Valt says shaking him. Shu had tears running from his eyes." V..valt?" He says and opens his eyes. Valt smiles at Shu." Good morning again." He says. Shu was glad to see his friend alive and breathing. He hugs Valt tight and starts to cry on his shoulder." I'm so glad your okay.." he says quietly. Valt hugged back.

Valt heard footsteps coming. "Shu let's get dressed okay?" Valt says. Valt lifts Shu from his shoulder and wipes his tears." It's gonna be okay Shu." He says with a smile. Shu looks at Valt and smiles." Y..your right." He says.

They quickly found clothes to wear to school and waited for Valt's mom to enter the room." Good morning you two!! It's good to see you up early!" She says with glee. They both smile at her." Let's go to school! Me and Shu are gonna play with Xander!" Valt says wrapping his arm around Shu's shoulder. Valt's mom smiles." Breakfast is downstairs. Please stay safe before you leave" She says and heads downstairs. The two boys smile at each other and head downstairs.

After breakfast

" I'm done!" They say in unison. Valt's mom takes their plates." Head to school you two. And have fun!" She says with a smile. Shu and Valt walkes out the door." How was your 2 day sleepover Shu?" Valt says. Shu doesn't answer, he's still worried about what will happen to Valt." Shu..are you okay?" Valt asks him. Shu looks at him and smiles." It was great Valt. And yes I'm okay." Shu says.

Valt Pov

Something is bothering Shu..was it the dream he had? He was holding onto me tightly. He hasn't said much yet, and it's starting to bother me." Shu is something bothering you? You can tell me." I say calmly. He looks at me, his eyes red and puff. Why was he crying?" It..its nothing Valt." He says smiling through his tears. He's trying so hard to smile, why is he acting this way? He then breaks down, I hug Shu trying to comfort him." It's okay Shu, I'm here.." I say to him rubbing his back. He keeps crying into my shirt, holding onto me tightly." D..don't leave me here alone Valt..please." Shu says. Valt doesn't let Shu go and keeps rubbing his back." I won't leave you alone Shu, I will stay by your side. No matter what." Valt says in his ear softly. Shu starts to wipe his tears." T..thank you Valt." Shu says with a tiny smile.

Shu Pov

I'm glad I have Valt as a friend. He keeps me calm and comforts me." Thank you so much Valt, how can I repay it to you." I say to him. Valt thinks for a second." Can I hold on to it for a bit?" Valt says tilting his head with a smile. I just nod and lay into his chest for a bit, I don't want to leave his side..or the warmth I'm recieving." We should hurry and get to school." He says lifting me up. I nod and we run to get to the school.

At school (regular)

When the two boys got there, Shu saw his mom crying." Why is my mom here already, I don't want to leave you Valt." Shu says holding onto his arm. They slowly walk up to the school." Mrs. Kurenai I'm so sorry, but why do you have to leave so soon?" One of the staff members said. The kids were inside playing, except for Xander." Shu's moving away.." Xander says sadly." There's Shu, you want me to get him?" One of the teachers ask Shu's mom. She nods slowly and continues to cry." Valt..lets go back..now." Shu says walking backward. Valt noded and ran back with Shu, but there was someone blocking there way.

It was Shu's Father

Shu started to cry, was his father gonna take him away again. The teachers finally reached Valt and Shu and whispered in their ears." Let's head back." She says. They hung their heads and walked with the teacher. Shu's Father on the other hand was angered." What do you think your doing to my son!" Shu's Father screams. Shu and Valt made a get away and ran to the school." No..no no no!" Shu repeats. Valt started to cry to, why are they after Shu." Shu, y..your moving away..are you." He says grabbing onto Shu's shirt." I don't know Valt." Shu says and hugs Valt.

" I want to be here with you." Shu whispers in Valt's ear.

Valt starts to cry." I do too Shu. I.." Valt says hugging Shu tighter.

"I want to stay and be near you Shu. I don't want to lose you." Valt says.

They start to cry, hugging each other tightly.

"Valt you must let Shu go, he needs to go." One of the teachers tell him. Valt shakes his head and hides his face in Shu's neck." I'm not letting him go..I'm not gonna let you take me from him." Valt says crying. The teacher sighed and called Valt's mom to come get Valt, this isn't a good at all." Shu! Let that boy go, your leaving!" Shu's Father tells him. Shu shakes his head and speaks." Your not gonna take me away from him again!" He says.

Valt's mom arrives and sees the two boys hugging." Valt what's wrong honey!" She says." They are trying to take away Shu from me, i don't want him to leave!" Valt says holding onto Shu tighter." Valt I know this is hard, but you need to let him go. He needs to be with his family." She says calmly.

Shu's father then started to pull on Shu." Your coming with me Kurenai, whether you like it or not!" He says.

Shu and Valt holds onto each other tightly, not letting each other go. Valt's mom starts to hold onto Valt and pull him away from Shu." I'm sorry Valt, he needs to be with his family." She says.

They couldn't stop crying, they were getting pulled away, and they couldn't reach out to each other anymore." Let's go Kurenai!" His father says, but his mom takes Shu by his hand." Leave him alone! He's not your son!" She says." Take him then!" He says and walks off. Valt leaves his mother's grip and runs to Shu. Shu tells his mom to let his hand go and she does. They hug each other for the last time." Please..tell me you'll remember me..right?" Valt says letting Shu go. Shu nods and wipes his tears." Why would I ever forget you Valt. We are friends forever." Shu says with a smile. Valt smiles back.

"Friends Forever.." they say in unison.

Their mother takes them by the hand but doesn't go far. Shu and Valt were holding hands, with tears running from their eyes. But they had a smile on their face, because they knew. They would see each other again.. in the future.

Shu left with his mom, Valt left with his. Once they parted ways, they quickly asked their mom to talk to each other. They sent letters to each other everyday, to see how they were doing.

But everything started to change, they stopped calling, they stopped sending letters, they haven't spoke to each other in years, what happened to their Friendship.

3 years later

"Hey Valt, do you remember your friend Shu?" Valt's mom asks him." I don't remember anything." Valt says laying down.
