1-A Dorm Rooftop

The door to the roof creaked open yet again as the last person walked through. New Years Eve had been very hectic this year with all the anarchy going on but it wasn't completely ruined, after all class 1-Arson thrived off of chaos more than anything else.

So here they were, Class 1-Arson, Gran Torino, Mitsuki, Inko, Rei and both Shimura's, all happily sat on the roof as they waited for the new year to roll in and replace the old one. 2099 had been a great year for everyone, from the Sports Festival to the Camping Trip this class had stayed closer than some families.

Torino would even say they were a family. The way they knew eachother inside out after only a year impressed him although he wouldn't say it aloud. He deeply cared for this class of mini arsonists no matter how many fires they set, he knew they'd be spectacular heros.

The night sky lay dormant like a blanket over the city, stars were speckled across as far as the eye can see and the cool glow the moon emanated gave a sense of comfort to the first years. It looked like something out of a painting Oboro tried to burn.

Of course it wasn't all tranquil, many crazed citizens were popping off with their quirks as they truly believed they'd be gone within the next minute. Fires harshly raged on throughout the city, the dull sound of shouting rebounding off every building. Tsunagu Hakamata caused this yet he didn't feel the slightest pang of guilt at all, how concerning.

The clock rhythmically continued to tick as the last 10 seconds of the 21st Century befell them. Nemuri had secretly stolen a large container of fireworks during the day and had set them all to simultaneously go off at 12, the class all held their sparklers close as 2100 approached.

"Happy New Year"

The group began to cheer from the rooftop wildly, some even hugged eachother with warm smiles. Suddenly a large bang erupted from behind the cheers. Fireworks. Shooting into the sky was artistic spectacle filled with all the colours of the rainbow. With each pop, they sky was painted yet another vibrant color.

The display shone brightly high above Musutafu, reflecting in each students eyes with a glint of awe, the year was over. Each student was eager to know what came next in their chaotic UA journey.
