I did it.
I saved the town.

°•∆{3rd person POV}∆•°
It was late at night. A building on the top of a mountain was silent in the night.
3 figures dressed in black snuck around using the roof of the building, soon making it inside.
An old man with a straw hat slept as the mystery people snuck up ahead using supports on the ceiling.
In a nearby room, a teen with spiky brown hair was brushing his teeth in front of a mirror. Words that the old man had told him echoed in his mind.
"My advice. Is to get some sleep."
The boy looked at himself in the mirror.
"Oh yeah? Well take this!"
The boy began to swing his toothbrush around in the air, treating it like one of many weapons he has gotten during his training with the old man.
The 3 mysterious figures quietly jumped down from the supports on the ceiling, beginning to sneak up on the boy that was too busy acting like he was one of the greatest fighters (he in fact, was not...for now.)
It took him a minute to notice what he thought was "robbers" and quickly began to fight them.
Now your author is way too tired to type out that entire cut scene of fighting Because yes.
Let's just say the boy at one point flew out of the building through the ceiling and landed on the training grounds.
Luckily for him, he landed right next to a button that triggered all the machines used for training.
The boy wasted no time to press the button, which stunned the 'robbers' when they got hit by some of the machines.
After even more nonsense they all ended up in a pile of them beating each other up like one of those old cartoons.
"Stop!"
All of them froze and looked towards the sliding doors that led inside the building. Which revealed the old man who was 'sleeping'. Doubt he actually was though.
All of the figures dressed in black quickly stood up and straightened their posture before bowing.
"Yes Sensei."
The boy who had been attacked and is STILL in his pajamas looked confused before looking at his Sensei.
"Wait a Minute..."
The boy stepped forth and looked at the old man.
"They're your students too?!"
The old man just calmly nodded in response. One of the hooded figures spoke, his voice muffled by the mask he wore.
"𝚆𝚘𝚊𝚑, 𝚆𝚘𝚊𝚑, 𝚆𝚘𝚊𝚑, 𝚆𝚘𝚊𝚑...𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚗𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚘𝚕𝚍 𝚞𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚊 𝚏𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚝𝚑! 𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚊𝚕𝚠𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚎𝚎! 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚎𝚎 𝚋𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚖𝚒𝚌𝚎, 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚎𝚎 𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚔𝚎𝚝𝚎𝚎𝚛𝚜, 𝚝𝚑𝚎—"
"𝙐𝙝, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙮, 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙞 𝙒𝙪. 𝙄𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙪𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧! 𝙒𝙚'𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙!"
The boy in red pajamas laughed.
"Didn't look solid to me."
The conversation began to block out of someone who was watching's ears.
Their H/C hair slightly blew in the night chill. Their E/C eyes were just completely black, the only color there was being two X symbols in their eyes.
They sat on the roofs of the building. Smiling and twiddling their fingers together.
They crawled away like some sort of animal. Climbing down the mountain where the building where all the soon-to-be ninjas stayed.
Once they deemed themself far enough, a cracking sound emitted from their body. Bones twisted and turned and skin began to stretch on their back before two slimy wings made of bone and tissue broke the skin.
Oil leaked from where the wings had sprouted and so did the wings themselves. The dark liquid stained the skin of the creature and the same went for its clothes.
But it didn't seem to care much.
The figure jumped from a rock and flew off to God knows where. But one thing was for sure...
The smell of rotten flesh filled the air wherever they went
°•†{Time skip}†•°
All four of the ninjas dragged a horse carriage behind them, instead of horses, they were the horses.
Sensei Wu sat in the carriage while sipping some tea, not giving a single care for his students suffering. It was some sort of "Training" after all.
A large shadow passed over the carriage, all the ninjas who were too busy chatting and introducing each other (since they didn't have the time earlier) and pulling the carriage ignored it.
Their names were Zane, Kai, Cole, and Jay.
As they talked, their Sensei was the only one who seemed to notice or at least give a crap about the shadow.
Sensei Wu looked up at the tall grown bamboo trees and narrowed his eyes. That shadow was far too large to be a bird. Yet far too small to be some sort of dragon.
Despite his years of living and all his wisdom. He could not get a single finger on what it could have been.
Sensei Wu then looked ahead and saw that they all were at their destination.
"Shh!"
All the ninja froze and quickly quieted down from speaking.
°•†{Mini-Timeskip because it happens in the episode}†•°
"The caves of despair."
Sensei Wu sat on a rock as all four Ninja were hidden behind some rocks. They all looked over the clearing of sand, it was completely empty despite a couple small hut's.
"Remember, Do not use the weapon. Or its power wi—"
"𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚑, 𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚑, 𝙸𝚜 𝚝𝚘𝚘 𝚖𝚞𝚌𝚑 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚞𝚜 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚜."
Jay said before looking at the others.
"𝙰𝚕𝚛𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚐𝚞𝚢𝚜. 𝙻𝚎𝚝'𝚜 𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚍𝚎 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚗𝚍. 𝙲𝚘𝚊𝚕, 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚗?"
Jay turned towards Cole. Cole nodded before stating the plan.
"𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩, 𝙒𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙚— 𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩...𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚'𝙨 𝙆𝙖𝙞?"
The 3 remaining ninja and their sensei looked back towards the clearing of the dog site only to see Kai had already gone ahead of them with no plan.
Sensei Wu sighed in disappointment before the rest of his students just followed behind Kai, Wu remaining behind to watch.
Zane, Jay, and Cole stayed together as the snuck along the site. Hiding behind or under anything of use.
After some not so stealthy sneaking but not being caught because of how dumb the skeletons were, they had managed to catch up to Kai.
Kai was on the roof of one of the huts, which contained the map and the undead general who had stolen it.
Jay hit Kai as a way to scold him for leaving them behind, but all Kai did was shush him.
They all watched the general through a hole in the ceiling, watching as he looked through the map that contained the locations to the weapons.
The general soon walked out of the hut in order to check on the status of digging for the scythe of quales.
Zane took the chance to use one of his shurikens to throw at the map and pull up towards them.
Once done, Kai grabbed the map and looked at it. Cole peaked over his shoulder and whispered.
"𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮'𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩..."
Before the others could say or think anything else, Kai was already once again heading off on his own.
Jay rolled his eyes before he also went to follow Kai, the others following along not long after.
Once they had gotten to a cave, they found Kai inside trying to push a boulder away from what was most likely a hidden opening behind it.
"𝙃𝙚𝙮, 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙧𝙪𝙣 𝙤𝙛𝙛 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣. 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙚'𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙖 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢."
Cole said, but all he got in response from Kai was a "Whatever."
Soon the others began to help Kai push the boulder away, to of course reveal a hidden entrance.
Inside was exactly what they sought, The scythe of quakes. Low and behold sitting right in an oddly shaped rock.
"𝚆𝚘𝚊𝚑...𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚜𝚘 𝙲𝙾𝙾𝙻!"
Jay's voice echoed throughout the cave, earning a shush from Cole as he carefully lifted the scythe out of the rock.
"𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚏𝚒𝚗𝚎, 𝚆𝚎'𝚛𝚎 𝚙𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚌𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚜𝚒𝚍𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚎!"
Cole rolled his eyes before climbing down from the rock and wrapping it up in a cloth before handing it to Kai.
"𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧, 𝙇𝙚𝙩'𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙖 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧-"
Cole was cut off when he looked ahead of himself, only to be met with the general and his army of the undead.
All four of the ninja pulled out their weapons, immediately preparing for a fight.
Which literally happened.
What did you expect? a tea party?
Well honestly that would've been cool...
Anyway-
As they all fought, Jay began to notice a similarity to their training with Sensei Wu.
"𝙶𝚞𝚢𝚜! 𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎! 𝙾𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚔𝚜, 𝚍𝚘𝚍𝚐𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚜, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚍𝚞𝚖𝚖𝚢!"
Before Jay or the others even knew it, Jay had done Spinjitzu.
"Jay! What's the secret!?"
Kai shouted as he dodged some skeletons who had attempted to stab him.
"𝙷𝚊𝚑𝚊! 𝙸'𝚖 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜! 𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚒𝚜 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚂𝚎𝚗𝚜𝚎𝚒 𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚖𝚎𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚠𝚎 𝚊𝚕𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚢 𝚔𝚗𝚎𝚠 𝚑𝚘𝚠!"
Jay laughed, utterly excited that he had learned to do Spinjitzu, not really caring he was committing multiple cases of murder on the soldiers, but they were undead already.
Kai looked at some soldiers who were charging at him, repeating what Jay had said.
"Over the planks, dodge the swords, Here comes the dummy!"
And of course, Kai had been doing Spinjitzu as well and began easily taking out more soldiers of the dead.
Zane and Cole began to follow along, the two also being able to use Spinjitzu.
Soon the army of dead had retreated. Making the Ninja finally stop.
"𝙃𝙖! 𝙂𝙪𝙮𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙨!"
Cole said, flexing his arm muscles in the process. Which only earned him annoyed groans and glares from his teammates.
They all began to celebrate their victory by just chatting together and showing off some random fighting moves.
But something felt...off...mainly too Cole...
看看你身后
Cole slowly looked behind him, only to be met face to face with one of his greatest fears...
"𝙃𝙚𝙮 𝙪𝙝...𝙂𝙪𝙮𝙨... 𝘿𝙞𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙞 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙖 𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙘𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙚?..."
Zane looked at Cole when he spoke before responding.
"𝕀𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕖𝕕. 𝔹𝕦𝕥 𝕨𝕙𝕪 𝕕𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕤𝕒𝕪 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥-...𝕆𝕙."
Zane had followed Coles gaze, which of course made him notice the problem. The others noticed Zanes and expressions, which caused them to look at well.
Turns out, that oddly shaped 'rock' was not a rock at all. It was a dragon.
"𝕀 𝕤𝕖𝕟𝕤𝕖 𝕨𝕖 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕟𝕠𝕥 𝕓𝕖 𝕒𝕓𝕝𝕖 𝕥𝕠 𝕤𝕡𝕚𝕟 𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕨𝕒𝕪 𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕠𝕟𝕖..."
Before all of them knew it, the guardian of the scythe began to attack. All four of them tried their best to dodge every attack. But they all ended up soon getting cornered.
"𝙄 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣'𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙!"
Cole said, practically shaking in his shoes. let's just say, he wasn't afraid of anything from this world. Key word 'This'...
Kai looked down at the Scythe in his hands before beginning to unwrap it from the cloth that Cole had put it in.
"𝙽𝚘, 𝙽𝚘, 𝙺𝚊𝚒! 𝙱𝚊𝚍 𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚊! 𝚂𝚎𝚗𝚜𝚎𝚒 𝚝𝚘𝚕𝚍 𝚞𝚜 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚘!"
Jay said as he stopped Kai by putting his hand on his shoulder.
"Well you better keep your mouth shut."
Kai pulled himself away from Jay and approached the dragon with the scythe. As the others warned him, Kai did not hesitate to plunge the scythe into the ground, causing a crack to form under the dragon and for the cave to shake.
The cave began to collapse in on itself, a rock hitting the dragon by its wing, temporarily keeping it in place.
The four of them did not hesitate to take the chance to run for the exit, but their hopes of escaping soon were snuffed out like a candle once a boulder had blocked the only way out.
"𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚗𝚘𝚠?!"
Jay shouted. Kai glanced around, looking for any sign of freedom to get him and his teammates out.
But there was none.
The four Ninja turned behind them at the sound of a roar, only to see the dragon had gotten free but not without a cost.
The wing that had been trapped was ripped from the joint, the only thing connecting the wing to the body being strings of flesh and paper thin skin.
As the dragon grew closer, the four of them began to accept their fate. They each closed their eyes, preparing for any kind of attack from the beast.
But there was none.
They each slowly opened their eyes. Only to be met with the dragon being held down by jagged tendrils and hands made out of machinery.
Suddenly, a yellow symbol had appeared around all of the ninja, forcing them to push against each other like they had been tied together.
"Let's get you out of here. Giggle."
They all jumped at the oddly robotic voice, but soon were just lifted from the ground and pulled through a giant crack in the ceiling of the cave that led out.
The second the odd symbol had gotten them free, it disappeared and dropped them onto the ground. Right in front of their Sensei as well.
"𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚝...𝚠𝚊𝚜... 𝙰𝚆𝙴𝚂𝙾𝙼𝙴!"
Jay shouted before beginning to laugh from the rush of adrenaline, soon being joined by the others.
"Enough!"
All of the students of the Sensei went quite as he glared at them all.
"I told you not to use the scythe!"
Sensei Wu said as he pointed his staff at his students. Without hesitation, the other ninja pointed at Kai. Basically ratting him out.
"What?! Using it was my only option."
Kai said as he walked up to his Sensei.
"And it had also almost cost most of your team's lives! You're lucky I made a new friend to help us with such mistakes..."
The ninja looked at each other confused, not knowing who he was talking about. But all of their gaze quickly shifted towards the carriage they had used to bring their Sensei there when a laugh was heard.
"You all are quite the odd ones, but I may as well get used to it. Light sip."
The person spoke while drinking a cup of tea, completely missing their mouth when they attempted to drink it.
It was the same voice. The one that got them out.
Now in the sunlight, the strangers appearance was much more easier to make out.
They had H/C hair that was H/L. A small black bow was attached sloppily onto their hair. Bandages could be seen over the person's neck and hands.
The most odd thing about them was their movements...They moved as if they were a lifeless doll...spoke as if they were one even...
...They moved like a puppet on strings...
"This is Y/n. Seeing that you couldn't get the weapon without problems, they will be helping."
The figure, or 'Y/n' stepped out of the carriage and walked toward's the ground and got up in Kai's face while holding a small smile.
"Hm. you are pitiful. Not an attitude for saving your sister. Now is it."
Kai stepped back in shock. He was about to snap at Y/n but something just felt so off about them that he couldn't.
"Come now. There are three more weapons to collect. Y/n I trust you can get back to our home without an issue."
Sensei Wu just earned a nod from Y/n, two large boney wings sprouted from their back before lifting them into the air.
God this was going to be a strange adventure...
°•★•°•★•°•★•°•★•°•★•°•★•°•★•°
That marks the end of episode one!
Sorry there was not much interaction with Y/n in this episode but there will be a lot more next time!
Anyway I hope you enjoyed it! See ya!
