RIDDHIMA'S POV

Today we were going to police station for recording vansh's statement. The police has taken courts permission for interrogation. I just wish he doesn't mess this up and answers all of their questions perfectly.

"ready to go?" I ask vansh as he ascends the stairs of his house. "Always!" he said, i don't know what he will tell them when he doesn't even tell me shit, doesn't he realize that his ass is on firing line and i am supposed to save him? Egoistic bastard.

We sat in the car and Reyansh is driving, i sit in the back seat, and go through the case files. "Do you have an alibi,saying that you left the restaurant when he was alive?" i asked him, he gave it a thought and said "Nope". "Bhai why didn't you take me? I could have come with you, now see how deep shit we are in!" reyansh said with anger, i could understand that this whole case and his brother were taking a toll on him, being the responsible one always comes with stress and anger as package.

Soon after we reach the police station and i take a peek outside the car only to find tons of paps pounding on the car, i got claustrophobic,i don't do well with crowds at all! "scared of crowds?" vansh asked me & i nodded, then he continued "Don't worry you get down, i will no let them do anything to you? Just ignore their questions, they can be stupid? Just concentrate on me ok?" he said with concern, concern? vansh? for me? NAH!

We stepped out and vansh caged me from sides and kept on saying "no comments" or "not now please", i was expecting him to be angry and all, but he handled it with cool. In no time we were inside.

We walked into the interrogation room showed by a constable. We were waiting.

"Mr. Vansh" A police officer came inside. "Aah finally! I will have a cheeseburger with maybe chicken?" vansh responded. "You think you are funny?" The police officer asked "Oh no! I think i am sarcastic and adorable if i might add" vansh said, can this guy just shut up!! HE is just making it worse!! "Anyway,hello I am Aditya srivastav, i will be interrogating you" he introduced himself and looked at me and i realized he was waiting for me to introduce myself. "oh yeah, sorry, i am Riddhima, i am vansh's lawyer and here are a few papers giving permission for me to be present in the room during interrogation" I said and handed him the papers.

KINSHUK MAHAJAN AS ADITYA VERMA

"Before we get ahead with the interrogation, let me switch on the camera, ah there it is, please introduce yourself" Aditya said and looked at vansh. "Oh yeah sure, are we rolling? Ok. My name is Vansh Raisinghania. I'm capricorn. I love sunsets, driving and adventures. AND I DIDN'T KILL ANYONE, how was that for a introduction?" He said, aditya looked at me with disbelief, i understood what he wanted me to do. "Give us a sec" i asked him and he nodded.

"Vansh! Please don't ruin this! You have two options here, i can get you out of this interrogation if you are willing me to tell what happened that night, with details to nail! if you are ok with it!" I asked him.

"Fine!" he said to me. "ok, wait here let me go and speak with aditya" i said. "wait! You called me and reyansh as sir until we told you to stop, but now suddenly there is no sir for him? why so?'' he asked, i don't know what this guys problem is!

"Can we do this later?" i said and walked out.

Vansh's pov

She was talking with that guy, while i was inside, they had a few laughs, i mean is she serious right now? Am i her client or cupid? Is she even talking about my case? After what seemed like 30 minutes she came inside and gestured to come out.

"Are we done?" I ask her. "yeah for now, Adi was a sweet guy, he let us go for now, he said he will call us after 3 days and will try to keep it under wraps so that the paps couldn't come, next time it will be private he said" she said and stepped outside & this time also i caged her from sides with my hands and led her to the car. But seriously first only Aditya, now adi?? how did she become soo close to a guy in a few minutes? And she can't even try to be nice with me? I scoff in my mind. We were dropping her off in her apartment. She was getting down the car, when she looked at me and asked "Tomorrow i might not be able to come,but is it fine if i come day after?, without a second thought rey agreed.

RIDDHIMA'S POV

Finally i was done for the day, when i got a message from a unknown number.

"hey riddhima, this is adi"

"Oh hey!"  i text back, while we were talking we exchanged our phone numbers.

"So tomorrow we are going right?" he texted me.

"yeah sure, i even took a leave from vansh, the place was CAPTAIN COOK right?" i asked him.

"Yes, do you want me to pick you up?" he asked, since my car was gone for 2-3 days for service, i had no option.

"Yeah if you don't mind" i texted back.

"sure! i will be there by 11:30 am, ok bye!" he said and took off.
