VANSH'S POV;

The ved guy bursted out on me for riddhima's condition. "Hey, its not his fault, its mine, i will have the lime water, we need to talk about something, can you leave?" riddhima asked him politely as he helped her sit on her chair. After helping her he left the room. 

"Give me a second, i need to find aspirin for the headache." she said and raided her drawer. "I will search later, so what are you doing here?" she came straight to the point. "I knew you would be having hang over so i thought to come meet you at house but i saw your car on the way there, so i assumed you would be here" i answered as i drank water from the glass in front of me. "Huh, you never carry a water bottle around, thirsty much?" she asked.

"Its not for me, its for you" i said and pushed the bottle towards her. "Its something mom makes me when i am hungover, helps with the whole pains and headaches" as i was telling her she opened the bottle and smelled it. "Nope, i am not drinking this weird thing that smells like this" she answered as she closed the cap of the bottle. "You won't believe it, but my mom has the same reaction towards alcohol, so drink up, i won't say the same thing thrice, next time i will shove it down your threat." i said smiling ear to ear. She out of nowhere started crying. "Is it just me or did you get more meaner" wow definitely hungover!

"Ok sorry, drink up please??" she cutely pouted and wiped her tears and drank it. "So, feeling better?" i asked as i saw her finish the drink my mom made. "So? You can't be good enough to come and check up on me, so tell me The real reason why you are here?" she asked. Why can't she believe that i am really here to check up on her, since she thinks that, let it be. "I wanted you to come to my office, for the new project details." she looked me in the eye as i finished saying the sentence.

"I can't do it today, maybe some other day, how about tomorrow?" she asked flipping through some pages. "Why? Are you busy?" i asked her, she was looking like she might have a panic attack. "I don't your office people to see me hungover, tomorrow i will feel better, so i will come tomorrow, and i have some personal work, so i can't,i was thinking about taking a leave and leaving in next half an hour after giving a few works to the people." she explained as she got up and went near the cabinet in her room. She started rubbing her temples. 

"Why can't i get a decent aspirin in this office!" she said kicking the cabinet. "Whoa calm down, here you go, the aspirin" i said handing over the tablet to her as my driver bought it to the office. She took the aspirin and started to pick her bag up. "I am going to go home, i will come to your office at 11" she said and left the room.

EVENING-

"Maa i am worried for her that's it" i explained to my mother as she saw me calling riddhima for about 25th time after i have been home. "You look more than worried for her" maa teased me but it didn't irritate me maybe she is telling the truth? I don't know, my guts had a very bad feeling. "You know what? I am going to and check up on her" i said taking my car keys and leather jacket.

Soon i reached her house, much to my surprise, there were a lot of people flooding in and out, so she lied to me? Whole hungover thing and all? Anger shot up to my brain. I went inside and searched for her, finally i saw her talking to someone, she looked beautiful, she was wearing a lehenga i guess.

RIDDHIMA'S POV:

I was talking to one of my friend when my sight fell on vansh across the room, i was surprised on what he was doing here, before he could cause any damage, i went near him. "What the hell are you doing here!!" i said and dragged him, to a place where no one was there. "What are you doing here??" i asked him as i looked around to see if anyone was there.

"So this is you taking rest??" he asked me as he folded his hands against his chest. "vansh now is not the time, i will come to your office, i will explain there" i said. "What is happening here anyway?" He asked me looking around all the decorations.

VANSH's POV:

"Riddhima! I have been searching all over for you" a guy said putting a hand on her. "Rahul, i was just talking to vansh about some deal, i didn't wanted to bother you so i came here" she explained why is she lying tho? I mean she told him the truth but like half truth, he was holding her waist, and she was quite comfortable. "OH! So you are vansh, i hope you don't mind what she did to you last year?" looks like he knows our history.

"I am Rahul by the way, her future husband and in a few minutes her would-be" he introduced, so this is the reason why she didn't tell, it was her engagement party. "Oh wow, congrats" i said as i shook his hand. "come fast, i have to introduce you to a lot of people and also your friends are killing me out there alone, so vansh please don't keep my girl for longer" he said, 'MY GIRL' ha ha ha, that word was clinging in my mind. "Its my family event, so i would appreciate it if you leave" she said folding her hands against he chest and tapping the foot waiting for me to leave. 

"Rahul, man! Wait up!" i said running towards him  and putting a hand on him. "Mind if i stay? For your engagement?" i asked him, he looked like a nice and innocent guy. "Yeah sure, come inside" he said and i looked at riddhima who had a irritated look on her face.
