RIDDHIMA'S POV;

He was slowly inching towards my face, and his hands were tracing my back. He slowly held my hand and took towards his lips from which hot breath was falling on my hands. He slowly kissed it and slid a ring onto the ring finger! I was flabbergasted at his actions! "Wha-" before i could speak another word. He moved his eye balls towards the side, where there were some people, giving me my cue to act. "Baby! Isn't this the ring, you wanted?" he asked pulling me closer. 

"But, how did you know? There is a reason why i call you the best husband!!" i held his chin and moved him sideways to kiss him on the cheek, soon after i kissed, the people gawking at us, went away. 'Why can't you ever listen to what i say! The guy you danced with? I hate him with all my guts! But you dance with him??" wow, back to old self i guess! I let out a sigh. "I am not in the mood to fight, can we get over it??" i said walking away, but of course in vague, why did i even try? Because he held my wrist and pulled me towards him, twisting my hand at my back. 

"Don't you dare walk away from me, i hate it!" he said with fuming anger. "Oh, well i thought i was just behaving like you, walk away, that's the best you could do right, but i guess the taste o your own medicine is bitter?" i ask him sarcastically, he slowly let go of my hand. I walked away into the party, which was now moved to a backyard, where everyone was having dinner, must say it was not a buffet. It was like fine dining space, like a restaurant with waiters, they were serving whatever they wanted. 

I walked and sat at a place, total opposite to my right at the end was the guy who asked me for dance, he smiled at me and i did the same. BUT vansh came and sat next to me, blocking my view more like even his view. "Still not done?" vansh asked me rudely. "Can you take a chill pill?? Anyway let's order something, i am hungry!" i said looking at the menu. "Sure, order whatever you feel like, i have to talk to few people, i will be back" he said and was about to leave, but i stopped him. "I think you should sit, because the couple wants to speak something" i said pointing at the stage near the band that was playing. "Yeah, you are probably right" he said and sat down again.

ON STAGE COUPLE-

Husband- We have been together for 10 years now, i wouldn't lie and say all these years we have been happy, we've had our shares of fights and all, Our's was a love marriage, everyone thought ours was a typical love story. But can you imagine, before we fell in love, we used to fight all the time, i still wonder how we fell in love, but like they say some matches are do made in heaven. Anyway all the couples here are newly married almost, i wish you all amazing years ahead with your partner.

AT THE TABLE-

I looked at vansh, when they mentioned how they used to fight before falling in love, i noticed he was also looking at me. "I am done, i guess you are also done? Can we leave?" i ask him. "Yeah i am also tired, let's leav-" before he could finish, the guy who danced with me earlier came up to our table. "I think so we should meet again? Tomorrow? I need to talk with my dear friend vansh again, vansh you said you wanted to meet me right? Tomorrow come to my ferry, we will talk, make sure to bring your wife, it's a must, i insist" he said and left. 

 "You are not coming!" vansh said as he stood up, i followed him into the parking lot. "I will come, even if you don't take me, i will find out by myself and come" i said as i got into the car. He also took a seat. "Why are you soo keen?" he asked me looking directly into my eyes.

"Um, let's think, ummm, umm, oh wait! MAYBE Because! He invited me personally??" i said which was sarcastically induced. He let out a sigh and said, "Fine, you can come whatever"

NEXT DAY; 

I got up and freshened up to come out, but the door was locked, i tried to pull it harder, then i knew what happened to the damn door! "VANSH!!! You son of a gun! Open the damn door!!! How dare you!!" i shouted at the top of my lungs. "I guess you should stay in, considering you have flu, or that's what i am going to tell him" he said and left.

NEAR THE FERRY-

VANSH'S POV;

I felt bad to do that to her, but i had to. I was waiting for the ferry to show up near the dock so that i can get in. "Are we still waiting??" i heard a female voice, it was riddhima! "What the hell? What are you doing here, how did you even get out, how?" 

RIDDHIMA'S POV;

"I see my lovely couple are here? Get in guys" the guy from last night said. Without further delay we got in. I was sitting in the below part of ferry they were having their meeting upstairs, soon i could hear people shouting, looks like the argument is escalating. Soon i could hear gunshots.

VANSH'S POV;

I knew this son of a bitch is upto no good, that's why he called me here, to kill! I was hiding behind the bar and shooting, i was alone with my 2 other men, it was simple, they were overpowered at this moment, i saw riddhima climbing the stairs and coming up, i sign her not to come here, there was a huge chance that she could be used as leverage against me. Soon i could see her whole body and i was shocked at what i saw.

There were guns in her hand and her pants were drenched in blood. She looked at me and smiled and started shooting. I slowly stood up and she was killing everyone in sight, what was i seeing?? Is it even real?? Soon she got to fahad. She shot him in the shoulder and leg, he fell with a impact, she placed one of her leg on top of him. "This is for Aadhya" she said and blew his fucking brains off!!! 

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! I fainted. Yeah the great good me, fainted! It usually happens when i have anxiety attacks or when i am low on vitamins, i was not sure what happened now. After what seemed like forever, i slowly started gaining conscious. I saw Riddhima sitting near my body, i was near her feet, while she sat on a couch. "Ahh! Finally the mighty vansh is awake." she said i got up and sat straight, rubbing my eyes, since everything was a blur.

"What the hell was that riddhima?? Are you even riddhima??" i asked her in utter disbelief. "Well, i am riddhima, i am afraid, i had to keep obviously one part was true. What did you think that i entered your life because of destiny, because of a interview?? Nah! I came into your life knowing that you were mafia, you were just a step towards my mission of killing fahad. And did you think i am that mad to not know that Maya, was dead and you lied to me?"

"You knew everything??" i asked her, the girl sitting in front of me was a totally different person. "Of course, i did! Well everything was a lie, except my name and the marriage you attended, and aadhya other that, my profession? Lie! Everything around you with me, was big web of lies, let me do you a favor and tell you my real identity. I am Riddhima Verma" she said and was about to continue, that's when it hit me! Verma?? Is she related to aditya verma?

"Verma?" i ask her questioningly. "Oh yeah, aditya? He is my brother, he is a police officer and i am CBI officer, perfect siblings duo right? Aadhya didn't deserve what she got, you both knuckleheads killed her, for your own ego?? Yeah you heard me right i knew the other guy was you! Every moment i spent with you i hated myself more! For not killing you, but i needed you alive, to reach fahad. It took every inch of me not to kill you!" she said and let out a huge sigh.

"Then you have me now, fahad is dead, why aren't you pulling that trigger on me?" i asked her. "Because i heard that you hate betrayals, what bigger betrayal than this? You will hate yourself for trusting me even for once, but don't worry we have arrested rey in india, he will take the punishment" she said and was about to walk away, my mind was frozen with all the new facts, that i got to know. "I miss the girl you pretended to be" i said.

"Of course, she was easier to kill, to fool" she said and walked away

"First half was yours, second half will be mine" i said as i tried to open the handcuffs.
