FEW DAYS BACK; when vansh was arrested after the very first day after meeting riddhima for interview.

 Author's pov.

"Fuck!! I can't even get a proper fucking lawyer! What will i answer bhai? I need to go talk to him." Rey said as he hurriedly descended down the stairs.

Rey soon went to the police station, to find vansh in the cell. "I need to speak with my brother" Rey demanded the SI (sub-inspector). "Go and talk to him, not more than 5 minutes" as soon as the police finished rey hurried to his brother. "Bhai, i am so sorry!! But there is no one who would like to take up your case, given your past endeavors, they are afraid that the other lawyer might bring up your past cases, i don't know what to do" concluded rey, finally taking a breath in.

"Call riddhima, she is a great only she can prove me correct" vansh said with confidence. "What can a journalist, possibly do bhai?" Rey said sarcastically. "She is a great lawyer, trust me on this one, just do some research on her" vansh said casually. "Sir, time to go" a constable said. 

"Bhai, don't worry i will get you out soon" rey said as he left. 

After rey bailed out vansh by a friend's help.

"Bhai, why the hell did you even kill that much deserving son of a bitch?" Rey questioned vansh. "Do you even know the consequences?? For our company? No one will deal with a fucking murderer!!" rey continued. "Well, boo hoo cry me a river princess, will ya?" Vansh said. "Trust me,  i know what i got myself into. Now i will clean my mess, which i very well know how to clean also, did you talk to riddhima?" Vansh asked rey.

"No, tomorrow i will go and speak, will you come?" 

"I don't know, i will see"

Vansh walked back into his room and got into the bed. 

Flashback; while meeting anand they both kept guns on table in front of them. (mentioned in earlier chapters)

"Are we here to talk about your wife or my business?" vansh asked anand. "Well, i lied i wanted to talk to you about business" anand answered. "Then i am outta here" vansh rolled his eyes and was about to get up when anand pointed the gun at him. "I always thought you were dumb, but come on man, even for you? This is new type of cheap! Expected more from you." vansh said with a smirk. "Well then sorry to crush your expectations , try to lower them next time,maybe?" anand said with a wicked smile.

As if reading his intentions, vansh took his gun in the hand and shot him. "You--i---will--not--AHH! leave you!!" anand said with anger. "Yeah keep waiting in hell, maybe i will find you there bye!" vansh left the bar.

Vansh woke up the next day, when rey was getting ready to meet riddhima.

PRESENT;    

After the hearing, next day.

RIDDHIMA'S POV;

"Misha, yaar! London? Seriously? destination wedding?" i almost squealed because we decided we will have destination weddings, and misha was the first one to get married among us!! "Yeah, be there by end of the week? And also no need to worry about accommodation and stuff, i handled it, let me know when are you coming i will pick you up from the airport" misha said with equal excitement. "ok then i will call you back and tell you, bye!" i said and cut the phone.

Before all this, i need to meet vansh. I take my car keys head towards their house. Soon i reach there and park my car. 

"I need to meet Mr. Vansh?" i ask the security guard. "Sure mam, you can go inside." he said with assurance. I walk inside, and knock the door, a servant opened the door and asked me to wait in the vansh's office room. 

"What are you doing here?" vansh asked me from behind while leaning against the door. "I am here to take my payment?" i told him. "Payment? Were you doing this for money?" he asked with a amused smile on his lips. "Obviously, you aren't my relative that i won't charge you, now can you write my cheque? I need the money?" i ask him eagerly to get out of the house, i can't stand him anymore, i have had with him till peaks! "How much?" he asked me as he took out the cheque book. "10 lakhs + 5 lakhs because of the cover up i had to do, so total 15 lakhs" i said quoting the price. He doesn't even flinch and handed the cheque to me

 But it wasn't 15 lakhs it was 30 lakhs. "I see you are doing me a favor by giving me 30? Ok then i will leave." I said and was about to get up when his face turned into utter surprise. "You aren't going to ask me for your exact 15 lakhs?" vansh asked. "Why would i? I will even take 10 crores also if you give me, because i deserve it. I quoted my price to get exactly that or anything higher. But nothing less than that. Now are we done? I have other places to be?" I say and walk out.

VANSH'S POV;

"Feisty, i like it" i murmur to myself. "She looks good" I hear my mother say from outside the room, waiting for my permission to get in. "Come in ma" i give her permission while gathering the mess on my table which i just noticed. "Do you like her?" my mom asked me with mischief in her eyes. "Nothing like that ma, she is just a lawyer who worked for me." i say and walk out from the room, weird mom even thought about us that way! 

"Bhai? Wanna hit the bar?" Rey asked me. "Sure get the keys, i will be waiting outside." I said and wait for him near the car, when i saw someone outside. It was riddhima, she was asking for lift. I casually walked upto her and asked what happened. "Well my car, it got flat tire, out of no where, why does everything and everyone in my life are just so not cooperating!! When i need them the most." She kept on ranting for 5 minutes until she realized she was ranting and stopped, giving me room to finally speak. "Shall i drop you?" 

"Oh, no that will be fine, Adi is coming to drop me, and i am not going home, i am going to airport". She said, that's when i notice the huge luggage beside her. "Dude, just because you scammed proof one time, doesn't mean you will fucking relocate?? That's soo stupid! Lawyers do it all the time, you don't see them relocating? What the fuck is wrong with you? You miss, are not going anywhere." that sounded more like an order than a request, anyway i start taking away her luggage, when she fights for it.

"God! Get over yourself! I am attending a wedding!! Misha's wedding, now leave the damn luggage!" she said and snatched away the luggage from me. That's when her knight in shining SUV shows up Aditya! "Riddhima? Good to go?!" he asked her with extra sweetness as if he just ate willy wonka's chocolate factory. "Let me help you with those" i said and took the luggage, and gestured aditya to open the trunk.  When he opened i saw another 2 suitcases must be his. 

"Thanks vansh" both aditya and riddhima say in unison. I smile and walk back inside.

"What was that about?" Rey asked me. "Nothing get in the car." I start driving and rey decides to puts up his awful taste in music on the music system, i already had a lot in mind, and another shit song of his playlist i might just kill him. "STOP!" i said and switched off the music from his playlist. "What'd you do that for?" i ignore his question and start playing my playlist. He takes my phone and says "Who even listens to this stuff? AC/DC? Metallica? Motorhead? It's the greatest hits of mullet rock." right there he offended me. I snatch away my phone. Well like someone i admire once said. "Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole, got it"

"You know in office, there is this girl today she just lost her-" rey started. "I am going to stop you right there young man. You are gossiping!! Dude you need to seriously get laid off" I said bluntly.

"Why do you have to be brutally honest all the time?? See, that attitude, right there? That is why I always got the extra cookie."
