It's hard living in this world,
With constant degrading slurs from whites being hurled.
Having the government breathing down our necks,
And use us as guinea pigs for their over flowing pay checks.

Their hands seal our mouthes shut,
Rewarding us with pet names as if we were a mutt.
You've silenced our cries,
And concealed them with lies.

But the people hear our cry, "I can't breathe".
And they scream for justice while the government seethes.
They can no longer silence us;
Not when we've got our rights to discuss.

We've gone tired of putting more of our people to rest.
We have to take those at blame and put them under arrest.
Screaming no justice no peace,
And we won't stop until this treatment starts to cease.
