Shreyas was scrolling through his Instagram feed when he got the surprise of a lifetime.

"What the heck?" Shreyas muttered to himself and chucked his phone away. There was laughter and approaching footsteps.

"-Alright, I have to check on Shreyas." Mridula's voice came from outside.

"Okay, and I'll see for lunch?" Aravind's voice responded.

"Hm... I'll text you my answer," Mridula responded with a carefree tone.

"I'll see you at two then," Aravind chuckled and Shreyas noted his receding footsteps. Mridula came inside, and started her usual and routine check ups. Shreyas turned on the TV, since he was dying of boredom.

"Uh... Mridula?" Shreyas didn't dare to look away from the TV screen. Mridula hummed a response.

"Look at the TV," Shreyas kept the same blank tone. And Mridula did look at the screen, she let out an audible gasp.

"Shit..." She cursed under her breath.

"Look, no worries." Shreyas sighed and reached out for his phone. He began to type away.

Mridula sighed with relief, and slumped down.

"I guess you and I are going to Chennai," Shreyas grinned.

"I guess so..."
