Haq: It looks wonderful!

Kij: Yes it does.

He says which startles Haq and Taehee.

Taehee runs up and hugs her dad (Kij).

Taehee: Dada! Look I drew our family! Look!

Kij: Okay, Darling, okay...where is it?

Haq smiles as he sees his lover and his daughter interact with each other. Kij must have felt the stare because he turned around and saw Haq, but he rolled his eyes and turned around. He smiled at his daughter but Haq's heart shattered even more. He felt tears threatening to fall out so he quickly dismissed himself and went to his room.

When he arrived he, closed his door, locked it, and leaned against it on the floor. He let his tears drop. Though he muffled his sobs. His heart was in pain, unbearable pain. He thought back to the moments he had with his lover before they were married.

They were so happy, but along with happiness comes pain.

He remembers how Kij was so gentle with him, how whenever they argued, which was mostly about Haq not wanting to each food but instead ice cream, they made up quickly because they were madly in love with each other.

He has a flashback to the day Kij became for distant. Kij was so close yet so far away from him.

Flashback...

Kij hadn't come home yet and he usually was home at 9 which was about 3 hours ago. At 1 in the morning he finally arrived. Haq was there waiting for him but Kij just walked straight ahead not even sparing a glance at Haq. Kij went to their room, but he locked it before Haq could even enter. Something was off, but Haq brushed that thought away thinking he must have had a rough day, a very rough one.

That night Haq slept in the guest bedroom. Though when he woke up Kij was once again gone, no note, no text, nothing. Kij woke up his daughter and got her dressed. He dropped her off at school after breakfast. He went to their shared bedroom and decided he was going to do the laundry.

He grabbed all the clothing and went to the laundry room. He put Kij's clothes but when he was going through it, check it in case there was anything he needed to take out so it won't be ruined, he found in Kij's clothing a note with a lipstick mark. Then he found another note, then in the clothes that Kij wore yesterday he found a scent, a feminine scent, roses and lavender? Something like that, Haq was suspicious by then.

Then after 1 month or so, Kij finally said the words that would shatter Haq's heart...

Kij: I am seeing someone else....and she's better than you, she looks better, and she treats me better.

Which led to the conversation of him asking Kij to stay for 2 weeks.
