Do you know who's all coming?" We arrived at the house before the rest of the family did. It was quiet as we anxiously waited for everyone to come. Eli sat on the floor playing with his toys while Emmett and I stood by the window, watching and waiting.

"The Denalis, for sure. They're our closest allies. Edward and Bella should be on their way back with them now." His arms wrapped around me from behind and I leaned into his chest as his chin rested atop my head. "Dom took Rose to go track an old friend of his. Carlisle said he had a few people, didn't mention any names."

"And Alice?"

"Wish I knew babe." He swayed our bodies side to side slightly. "It's weird how Jasper didn't tell you anything about them leaving."

"We're still new to this guardian bond. I don't think we've ever really talked about it enough." I tilted my head and smiled gently. "Besides, I don't need him here to protect me. That's what I have you for."

"Damn straight." He smirked and leaned down to kiss me. Our lips had barely connected before he was tensing and straightening up. "Someone's coming." He moved me away from the windows and I picked up Eli.

"Who is it?" He stood still for a minute before his body visibly relaxed.

"It's just your sister." He beckoned me forward and I watched Edward's car come down the driveway. We met them outside, a relieved smile on my face.

"Took you guys long enough." I grinned.

"Someone had to pee ten times on the way back." Edward glared at Jacob. I set Eli down and he walked to Nesmee, handing her his toy.

"I told you I have a small bladder," Jacob grumbled. "I'm taking the kids inside." He gently nudged the kids to the house and I turned back to my sister.

"How did it go?"

"They've agreed to help. They should be here soon." She replied with a small smile. "Edward took a little beating but they're on our side."

"Ouch." Emmett taunted. He had a smirk on his face as he poked fun at Edward's misery. "Wish I could've been there to see it."

Ignoring the boys, Bella and I rolled our eyes. "How did it go with you two?"

"Pretty good. They're out hunting and should be back later." Neither one of us made an effort to continue the conversation and the sound of feet stomping against the ground saved us from having an awkward moment.

They emerged from the trees like angels. The four of them walked at a human pace towards us and like every other time I've met them, their beauty astounded me.

"Lovely to see you again Clary."

"You too Kate." I smiled. Out of the entire Denali Clan, Kate was the one I grew the closest to. She reminded me a lot of Rosalie in a way and she became one of my closest (yet distant and silent) friends after we initially met. "I'm glad you could make it."

"Of course. Anything for family." Tanya smiled. "Edward did mention you had something to tell us also."

"You didn't tell them?" I quirked an eyebrow at Edward and he shook his head. I turned back to the stunning people awaiting the news and I sighed softly. "You didn't just come here for Nesmee. I have a son, his name's Elijah. We believe the Volturi are after the both of them."

"You both gave birth?" Carmen pointed between Bella and me as we both nodded.

"I got pregnant first and then Bella did about a month later," I explained. "We went into labor the same day. Her labor kickstarted mine."

"That's freaky," Kate muttered.

"It's nearly impossible." Tanya's eyes were wide as she gaped at us. "It's incredible! Two sisters, both mates to vampires, gave birth and have dual species, children!"

"You weren't this excited in Alaska." I heard Edward mumble and I couldn't help but snort.

"Would you like to meet him?" The four of them nodded and I called out for him. "Eli!" I turned to face the house and opened my arms. Within two seconds, my boy was cuddled into my chest and my arms adjusted to his weight. "Bub, these are your daddy's cousins."

"Hi!" He beamed. He was slowly adjusting to being around new people and like his mom, he was starting to become a little social butterfly. "I'm Eli." He stuck out his hand and Kate was the first one to grab it.

"He's so cute." She complimented, a smile gracing her face. They each took a turn shaking my little boy's hand but it was Eleazer's turn that had us surprised.

"He's got the ability to heal." He pointed out. "It's remarkable. Has he showcased it yet?" Emmett and I shared a look before responding.

"Uh, yeah. He healed one of the wolves a few days ago."

"Fantastic." He grinned. "I apologize. My gift is identifying gifts in other vampires. I was able to sense both of yours as soon we walked up."

"I'm sorry- what?"

"Both?"

"Oh yes. When we met at your sister's wedding, her gift overpowered my senses to notice yours but now that you're here in front of me, it's very faint but you have one within you." He explained with a gentle smile. "Though you're human, which has me questioning how that's even possible."

"She has a gift?" Emmett asked, pointing at me just to clarify I was who Eleazer was talking about.

"Yes, she does. It's faint but it's there." He nodded. "Should you ever become a vampire, you will have a rare ability. One I've only seen in another."

"You do plan on becoming a vampire, yes?" The question was asked by Carmen and I didn't know how to answer her. It was always implied that I would be, but the more I reflected on everything, I found myself wondering what would happen if I were to stay human. Naturally, my son and husband would outlive me but after witnessing the lifestyle for so long, I wasn't sure if that was a life I could lead.

"She does," Emmett answered for me. I shot him a grateful smile and ignored the impending glare Kate was sending me. "What power does she have?"

"If she wishes to know, I'll tell her." His statement surprised me. He had openly aired that I had one to the group of us, I assumed he would've blurted out what it was. Nonetheless, I was grateful for the privacy.

"Not right now." I thanked him anyway.

"Fair enough." He nodded once. "I do believe another person is approaching, we'll make our way inside." They disappeared as quick as a blink and I sighed softly.

"That was intense," I mumbled. I didn't have time to think everything over as another car headed our way. It stopped a few feet away and outstepped Carlisle and Esme. Four other people emerged from the backseat and we greeted each of them with a smile.

"Glad to see we all made it back safely." Carlisle smiled as he walked over. "Who are we waiting on?"

"Rose and Dom. They're not back yet." Edward answered.

"They should be here soon." Esme smiled.

"Amun, Benjamin, Tia, Kebi, I'd like you to meet my sons and their wives. This is Edward and Isabella," they waved politely. "And this is Emmett and Clarissa, with their son Elijah." The use of my full name had me cringing.

"We've heard all about you and we're on your side." Benjamin smiled. "May I?" He gestured towards Eli and with a cautious glare from Emmett, I nodded and set him down. Benjamin squatted down to his level and smiled kindly. "Hello, I'm Ben."

"I'm Eli."

"Do you want to see a trick?" Eli nodded excitedly. Benjamin took his sippy cup from his hand and unscrewed the lid. He handed the lid to Emmett and smiled widely at us before turning his focus back onto Eli. "Watch this." He placed his hand gingerly over the top and raising it slowly, the red juice floated into the air. Eli gasped and my heart melted at the sound.

"Benjamin can manipulate the elements," Edward informed us. We watched as he spun the juice around in the air before letting drop back into the cup with a small splashing sound. Eli leaned over and peered into his cup.

"Do it again!" He cheered excitedly. We all laughed and Benjamin went to hand the cup back to him when I felt Emmett tense up beside me.

"Someone's coming," Jacob commented.

"When did you come out here?" I questioned but it went unanswered.

"Who are they?" Bella asked as two tall slim women appeared from the trees. The brown leather pelts that covered their body modestly, matched their russet-toned skin and after meeting the Denalis I never thought anyone's beauty could outdo theirs but staring at the two women, I was wrong. They were beautiful, in a natural way. I was in awe.

"Senna and Zafrina. From the Amazon."

"Do we go over there?" I asked quietly though I knew they could hear me. "Wait if they're from the Amazon, how did they hear about us?"

"From me." Carlisle smiled. "Let's go greet our guests."

That was how the next couple of days went for us. More allies came to help us and each of them was in awe of our kids. Renesmee's gift helped convince them and Eli won over their hearts as he giggled and ran around playing with Seth and his toys.

Rosalie and Dom brought back an old friend of Carlisle's, Garrett, who seemed infatuated with Kate. Something I'd endlessly teased her about. Next to arrive were the Irish coven. They scared me and it was a mutual decision to avoid each other as their thirst for my blood was overwhelming for them. Along with Garrett came the nomads. They'd proven to be unpredictable and Emmett stayed glued to my side when they were in the room.

We were all gathered in the living room and I stood in the corner with Bella and Jacob as we observed everyone. Eli and Nesmee were upstairs with Esme while they napped. "There's a lot of red eyes around here," Jacob commented.

"They agreed not to hunt in the area." Bella pointed out.

"And me. I'm off limits too." I joked, though inside I was serious. It made me slightly uneasy with this many vampires in the room, a feeling I hadn't felt since my time at the Volturi. "How's Sam doing with all the new wolves?"

"He's handling it." Jacob shrugged. As more and more vampires appeared, more boys on the reservation were phasing. Sam wasn't peachy keen on it but he had no choice but to deal. He'd been informed of our situation but hadn't returned my calls. I was getting restless about it. I felt guilty more than anything. His pack was growing because of Bella and me and I knew he didn't like the reason why. I knew he starting not to like me.
