"So do you want to clue me in on the plan or is this one of Dom's famous 'winging it' moments?" Izzy asked Letty. The two women had kept a steady silence between them since they left Dom's house but Izzy felt the overwhelming need to break it.

"Both," Letty smirked. Izzy nodded to herself and regarded the woman beside her. She could see how little she aged over the ten years since she'd seen her last but what caught her eye was a minuscule scar on her right cheek. Izzy was sure there was a story there but she felt awkward even trying to bring it up. The two weren't close, Izzy was sure she was barely considered a friend. "So, Dom's your Dad, huh?" Her tone was weird, Izzy noted. She wasn't bitter, or confused, she seemed almost indifferent.

"Uh, yeah. Yeah, he is." Izzy cleared her throat.  "It's still a little weird saying it out loud to people." The last part was mumbled as she turned away from the wiser woman's heavy stare.

"I gotta know, who's your Mom? Obviously, he knew her, but did I?"

"From what I've been told, yeah, you did," Izzy confirmed. She could practically see the wheels turning in the woman's head as she tried to figure out who she was. "Her name was Valerie. I don't really know anything else about her."

"Valerie?" Letty gaped in disbelief. "Val was your Mom?" When Izzy nodded, she chuckled. "Holy shit."

"My uncle once told me that you two were friends."

"Yeah, we were," Letty admitted. "We were basically the same person. She was like a sister to me." Izzy began to feel awkward. She knew her Mom had a one-time fling with Dom before he dated Letty but she wasn't sure if Letty knew. "Dom told me about that night. The past is in the past and to be honest, I don't really remember much from back then. Just the basic stuff."

"So no hard feelings?"

"Girl, there will never be!" Letty laughed. "You're the baby in the situation, not the two who created it. If anything, Dom should be the one I'm mad at but I can't exactly hate him for a kid he didn't even knew he had."

"That's a relief because I managed to convince myself that you'd forever hate me and that would've just made everything awkward." Izzy rambled as she sighed in relief.

"Nah, we're good." She drove faster down the road as she stayed in formation with the two cars they were sandwiched between. "Ready?"

"Not really. Last time I agreed to do something crazy like this, I was held hostage by an overbearing british man with a passion for vengeance."

"You talk a lot," Letty smirked.

"I hear its one of my endearing qualities." Izzy grinned. Silence enveloped them again before Tej's voice broke it.

"Guys, they're here!"

Letty picked up her radio and glanced at Izzy before replying. "How many cars?"

"Um- none. And that's kind of the problem." The two women shared a wary glance. Neither one of them said a word as Brian gave further instructions. Izzy bit her lip nervously as she looked through the side mirror at the cars her family rode in.

"What do we do now?" Letty spared the girl a quick glance as she sped through traffic, dodging cars left and right ignoring honks sent her way.

"Did no one tell you the plan?" Letty smirked.

"You see, I kind of just climbed into your car and here we are." Izzy smiled sheepishly. "In my defense though, you guys rarely actually follow a plan. Dad's notorious for winging shit as he goes." In the middle of her rambling, she missed how the D word slipped from her mouth so easily as she spoke of Dom. The girl may have missed her slip-up but Letty didn't. The older woman caught onto it and her lips twitched upwards as the word repeated itself in her mind. "What?" Izzy stopped talking and eyed the woman's simple expression.

"You called him Dad."

"Huh." Izzy turned to look out the window, staring at the sky and the tall buildings surrounding them. "I guess I did." She gave a small smile.

"And how do you feel about that?"

"It feels... right." She smiled, this time a full beaming, teeth-showing smile.

In the distance, an explosion caught Izzy's eye. The fire illuminated the sky, casting an orange hue as it blazed. Any other time, she would've marveled at the beauty of it, but knowing that someone in her newfound family was more than likely near that blaze, her stomach churned. "You think they need us yet?" Letty turned to see what grabbed her attention and she silently cursed as she saw the tall tower fall.

"I'd give it a few more minutes." She shrugged. The woman knew her team, they'd call when they needed them, until then, they'd fight as long as they could. And across town, on the top floor of a parking garage, the patriarch of the family was facing his enemy head on, getting his revenge.

"You thought this was a street fight?" Dom aimed his shotgun at Deckard. The british man faced the barrel with a straight face. "You're damn right it is." Dom tossed the gun aside and grabbed a pipe from his car, wielding it in his hand, his grip tight.

"I gotta say, I'm a bit surprised you're not thanking me." Deckard couldn't resist opening his mouth. The man had pride and he couldn't let Dom think he had bested him.

"For what?" Dom's face stayed surly. He couldn't care less what the British man had to say, he just wanted to hurt the man who hurt his family.

"For the family reunion, of course!" Deckard smirked. "I think its a little cliche but that's just my opinion."

"Don't talk about her." Dom glared at him. His grip on the pipes in hands tightened impossibly more, his knuckles turning white as the man mentioned his daughter.

"She's always been a secret kept from you, hell she never even planned on telling you herself. Did she tell you that?" Deckard watched a dark look flash across Dom's face before he blinked and it was gone. "The girl has many secrets but she doesn't belong in your world Dom. I would hate for her to have the same ending as her mother." Deckard's smug smirk was gone in a flash as Dom charged at him. The second fight of the night had begun and the other one still raged on.

"Letty, we need help!" Roman's panicked voice echoed over the radio and the two women shared a look before their minds went into mission mode.

"Hang on, I'm coming!" Letty shouted back to him. Izzy reached for the handle above the door and gripped it tightly as Letty did a sharp turn, speeding towards the two men. Izzy briefly wondered where her team was, not having seen them anywhere in town since the split but she didn't have time to dwell on that subject as Roman shouted over the radio once more. "There they are." Letty's words were quiet as Izzy watched the car explode, the metal machine tumbling down the empty streets.

"Come on!" She swung the door open as the car slowed to a stop beside the trio. Ramsey squeezed onto the seat as Izzy maneuvered herself to be half sitting on the console and squished beside the computer genius. "I don't think we've met, I'm Izzy."

"You're Izzy?" Ramsey gaped. "You're the one who helped with God's Eye?"

Izzy smiled sheepishly at her. "Yeah, that was me." She confessed. "If I had known that it would cause this much trouble, I probably would've left it alone."

"How did you find my program?"

"That's classified." Ramsey eyed her suspiciously but she had to have trust in the younger girl. After spending a short time with both teams, she knew Izzy was a friend, not a foe, but her hacking skills still made her wary. She was beginning to question just how much the girl really knew about her.

"Okay, you two, hold on." Izzy reached for the handle again as Ramsey flipped open her computer, ready to find a new internet connection.

"So, if this car goes down, who's coming to save us?" Ramsey asked, her voice shaking as she panicked.

"Save us?" Letty snorted. "Honey, we're it."

"Letty, it's getting closer." Izzy bit her lip nervously as she spotted the drone in the rearview mirror.

"We'll lose it in the tunnel," Letty informed her. Izzy gulped as she and Ramsey shared panicked looks. Neither one of them was equipped with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, something they both noticed about the other in that quick second. Letty slammed her foot on the pedal as they approached the tunnel but her car just wasn't fast enough. The car was hit by a blast, Izzy and Ramsey both screaming as they tried to stay seated. Izzy's head collided with the roof of the car, her body lurching forward and narrowly missing the windshield had it not been for Letty stretching her arm out and pushing her into Ramsey. The two brunettes knocked heads as the car swerved out of Letty's control. "I can't shake this thing!" Letty shouted in frustration.

Izzy grunted quietly as she tried to wiggle herself back onto the console, silently questioning why she hadn't just made the girl sit in the backseat. The back window shattered behind them and Izzy ducked down to avoid getting struck. She sat upright once the bullets stopped and she turned to Letty, the two mirroring the same panicked look in their eyes. They were the backup, there was no one else. With a loud 'fuck!' escaping her, Letty slammed her foot harder on the gas, shifting gears as she tried to dodge the drone behind them. They were nearing the edge of the tunnel now, a long stretch of empty highway behind them. There was no escape.

Well, that was until an ambulance smashed into the drone from above. Letty drifted the car to a stop, the three women panting as they watched the drone go up in flames. They watched in surprise as a tall man punched his way out of the busted ambulance.

"No way," Letty smirked. "Hey! Did you bring the cavalry?" She shouted out to him.

"Woman, I am the cavalry." He grunted.

"Of course you are." She chuckled. They watched as he picked up the giant gun from the drone and walked off with it.

"Who is that?" Ramsey asked, still in shock at what had just happened.

"That's Hobbs," Letty replied.

"He's a friend." Izzy grinned. She closed her eyes as she let out a long sigh. "Hey, Ramsey?"

"Yeah?"

"Would you mind moving to the backseat?" It was silent before the three women shared a quick laugh.

"Yeah, sure."
