The next day, Christy sits on the examination chair, getting her checkup appointment.

Nurse Giannis looks at her holographic computer screen with Christy's vitals.

"The mercury toxin is almost cleared out of your system." Nurse Giannis said. "Sooner than later, you'll recover and be back to your full strength."

"That's good, right?" Christy asked.

"It is good, Christiana." Nurse Giannis said. "That's very good."

Christy small smiles. "Okay, then."

"Would you like a copy of your vital progress?" Nurse Giannis asked.

"Sure, knowing my parents, they would want to know." Christy said.

"Definitely." Nurse Giannis agreed, gently hands Christy her sheet of paper with her vital progress.

"Yeah." Christy said, and gently leaps off the examination chair. "Thanks, Giannis."

"You're welcome, Lady Christiana." Nurse Giannis said. "Lollipop?"

Christy small smiles at her. "Sure. A green one."

Nurse Giannis gently hands Christy a green lollipop.

"Thanks, Giannis." Christy said, unwrapping the green lollipop and puts it in her mouth and walks away.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- STUDY OFFICE

Later that day, Christy is with her parents, Elder God Ames and Elder Goddess Nadia, sitting in armchairs across from each other.

"According to Nurse Giannis, the mercury toxin is almost cleared out of your system." Elder God Ames said.

"Yeah." Christy said. "And Giannis herself said that I will recover sooner rather than later and back to my normal full-strength."

"Well, that's some good news." Elder Goddess Nadia said. "Soon, you will be back to your silly-witty self."

"I'm still my silly-witty self." Christy said. "Will Yuewei be released from her position as my bodyguard?"

Ames and Nadia small smiles at their daughter.

"Nice try, daughter, but unfortunately, she will not." Nadia said. "But Yuewei and Nya will switch positions, you won't know they are there."

"Okay." Christy said. "Is there anything I should know? Do I have any conference meetings to attend?"

"Not right now." Ames said. "The fundraiser gala did raise enough money for the community center though."

"Isn't The Supreme Loyalists funding the community center?" Christy asked.

"They are." Elder Goddess Nadia said.

"Okay." Christy said.

A gentle knock is on the door.

"Come on in." Nadia said.

The door opens; it's Theseus.

"Theseus?" Nadia said.

"Interpol Agent Jun Lee is here." Theseus said.

"Send him in, please." Elder God Ames said.

Interpol Agent Jun Lee slowly walks into the study office. "Hello, Your Majesty Ames and Your Highness Nadia. Lady Christiana."

"Hi, Jun." Christy greeted him.

"Do you have any updates on the investigation?" Nadia asked.

"There is." Jun Lee said. "A threatening parchment note was found in the outdoor bonfire pit at the French chateau. It was crumbled, but I managed to unravel the note.

Jun hands his tablet to Nadia with the parchment note. The note said:

I will destroy you, Christiana, just like you destroyed me!

" 'I will destroy you, Christiana, just like you destroyed me.' " Elder Goddess Nadia read the parchment note.

"What does that mean?" Ames asked.

"I think I know who." Christy said.

Ames, Nadia and Christy exchange knowing looks at each other.

"Quinn." Nadia said.

"Why would the former Pevanshire Princess try to murder Christiana?" Jun asked.

"Because it's personal." Christy replied. "I defeated her in a sai duel and a sword duel."

"It's crazy." Jun said. "Just because Quinn lost to you and now, she's trying to murder you."

"Well, Quinn has attempted murder against Christiana and she sent a ski- masked hitwoman." Nadia said.

"Do you think that Duke Luovl and Lady Anita knows about their daughter's malicious scheme against me?" Christy asked.

"We will know once we asked them." Ames said.

Nadia gently hands back Jun's tablet. "Thank you, Jun."

"You're welcome, Your Highness Nadia." Jun said and slowly walks away.

"Theseus? Send Duke Luovl and Lady Anita to the throne room." Ames said.

"Yes, sir, Your Majesty Ames." Theseus said.

Theseus and Jun both walks out of the study office and the door gently closes.

"So, what happens now that we know that Quinn is trying to hurt me?" Christy asked.

"We will deal with this. For now, Christy, just focus on getting better." Nadia said.

"I will, but Mom? Dad?" Christy said.

"We know you want to help, but for now, just do what we ask." Ames said.

"Yes, sir. Yes, ma'am." Christy said with a understanding nod.

Christy gets up and bows at her parents and walks away, walking out of the study office.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- COMMUNITY CENTER

That afternoon, Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy are handing out platters of food, pastries and Julep cups of juice and water to some peasant men and women.

"You know these canned foods really come in handy." Zenith said.

"Yeah, they do. Especially, the chicken noodle soup if you have many." Thalia said.

Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy exchange lightly chuckled with each other.

Max looks at Christy. "How are you holding up, Christy?"

"I'm good." Christy said. "The mercury toxin is almost cleared out of my system, so, I'll make a full recovery sooner than later."

"Well, that's good news." Thalia said with a small smile.

"Yeah, it is." Christy said.

"How about after we leave this community center, we can share a drink at the beer garden?" Zenith suggested.

"Sure." Christy said.

"You big softie." Thalia said to her husband, Zenith, with a small smile and pecks a kiss on his cheek.

To which Zenith small smiles.

"Aww." Christy said.

Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy exchange playful chuckles with each other.

Suddenly, a commotion stirs up amongst the peasant men and women.

Tomar and his bandit crew are messing with them, drawing attention from Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy.

Tomar is messing with a peasant man, eating his platter of food and spits it back out on the platter.

Christy interferes, grabbing Tomar's hand and punches him in his face, knocking him away.

Christy glances at the peasant man. "Are you alright?"

"I am fine, Lady Christiana." The peasant man said.

"I'll get you another platter." Christy said.

The peasant man nodded.

Tomar tries to lunge at Christy, but she just elbows him in his face and holds him against a pillar.

Two other men bandits unsheathes their blades, but Zenith and Max stops them by unsheathing their own swords.

"Don't." Zenith said.

"Wouldn't do that." Max said.

A bandit woman tries to help out her bandit crew, but Thalia punches her in her face, making the bandit woman stumbles backwards.

Christy quickly takes out her phone and dials Dementrio's phone.

"Christiana?" Dementrio said on the phone.

"Dementrio? Come to the community center. Tomar and his bandit crew are causing trouble." Christy told the head charge of security.

"I'm on my way." Dementrio said and hangs up his phone.

Christy looks at Zenith, Thalia and Max. "Dementrio is on his way."

Zenith, Thalia and Max nodded in understanding.

Dementrio had arrived with two of his security guards, who escorted away the bandits.

Christy gently sets down a new platter of food and pastries on the table for the peasant man.

"Thank you, Lady Christiana. Bless you." The peasant man expressed his gratitude.

"You're welcome." Christy said and slowly walks over to Zenith, Thalia and Max. "Dementrio?"

"The bandits have been coming around here, trying to steal some of the food here." Dementrio said.

"I thought Tomar's bandit crew were apprehended?" Thalia asked.

"Unless Tomar's bandit crew has expanded. He and his bandit crew are infamous bandits, Lady Thalia." Dementrio said.

"Is there anything that you can do?" Max asked.

"With this malicious scheme against Christiana and the investigation almost solved, I'll have some of my security guards on standby near the community center, just in case." Dementrio said.

"How about we handle the community center?" Christy asked. "Just in case, some bandits come around."

"Are you sure, Lady Christiana? With your current condition? I do not want no harm or danger to come to you, or any of you?" Dementrio asked.

"We'll look out for her along with Yuewei." Zenith said.

Christy exchange looks with Zenith, Thalia and Max.

"Alright, then." Dementrio said and he walks away.

"The bandits might come back." Thalia said.

"We'll be ready for them if they do." Christy said.

Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy exchange tense looks at Tomar and the bandits.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- THE FRENCH CHATEAU

That late afternoon, in the restored kitchen, Christy is fixing the ceiling light, adjusting the three light bulbs, up on a ladder.

"Tomar's bandits has causing some trouble at the community center?" Klaus asked, gently leaning backwards against the kitchen countertop.

"Yep. I told Dementrio about it and is unable to keep an eye on the community center, so, Zenith, Thalia, Max and I will be keeping a look out at the community center." Christy said.

"And plus, you will make a full recovery soon, so, that's some good news." Klaus said.

"Yeah, and I can workout and exercise again." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange lightly chuckles with each other. She finishes adjusting the three light bulbs and finishes the ceiling light.

"I'm done." Christy said, and gently climbs down from the ladder and onto the kitchen floor.

"Have you had meatball curry?" Christy asked.

"If this is a food suggestion about your date with me then, no, I haven't." Klaus said. "But it sounds good."

Christy lightly chuckles. "Okay, we'll eat meatball curry and cake."

"Not just an ordinary cake." Klaus said.

"Okay. You get the cake suggestion." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other. The omnipod monitor beeps on the kitchen countertop.

"Hopefully this will be the last." Christy said.

"Yeah, hopefully." Klaus agreed.

Klaus and Christy both sits next to each other at the kitchen countertop. She gently takes off her leather jacket, revealing her white tee and the omnipod patch on her upper right shoulder.

"You ready?" Klaus asked.

"Yep." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy looks at the omnipod monitor with the word "Apply" on the screen. He presses the "Apply" button.

The omnipod patch slightly pitches, which causes Christy to wince.

"Injection complete." The AI woman voice said.

"Thanks." Christy said.

"You're welcome." Klaus said.

Christy gently puts back on her leather jacket. "I have to meet Zenith, Thalia and Max at the beer garden for a drink."

"Alright." Klaus said.

And Christy gets up and walks away.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- BEER GARDEN

That evening, the four best friends, Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy sits across from each other with their bottles of Ales.

"Zenith? Thalia? How are your positions of Chief Executives?" Max asked.

"It's good." Zenith replied with a small smile. "Me and Thalia take turns discussing topics and objectives in meetings in the conference room."

"We talk about political topics and other subjects." Thalia added.

"At least, the four of us have business here at Mount Orasani." Max playfully teased with a small smile.

Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy exchange chuckles with each other.

"You know, sitting here together, we've come a long way." Christy said.

"Yeah, we have." Thalia said. "At the Orasanian Elite Academy, everyone saw me as the daughter of the Underworld Elder God Marcalos. Max and Christy defended me."

"How does Damien and Irene handle it? Being the grandchildren of Marcalos?" Max asked.

"They handle it well." Zenith tells him. "Damien and Irene are both demigod and demigoddess with our powers."

"According to our children, they do hear about grown-up gossip at the Camp Orasani." Christy said.

"How's Marion?" Thalia asked.

"She's amazing." Max replied with a small smile. "She's a bit shy, but she still loves unicorns."

"Does she still have her unicorn plushie?" Christy asked.

"Yeah, she does." Max replied with a small smile. "She sleeps with it and she always takes it with her in her backpack whenever she goes with the kids group at the Camp Orasani."

"Has she ever lost it?" Thalia asked.

"Oh my gosh, yeah." Max said. "And Marion went frantic about it. So, Gia and I looked for it everywhere; in the main living room, Marion's room, our room, and we double-checked. But we finally found it."

"Where was it?" Zenith asked.

"I found it underneath the sofa." Max said. "And after I found it, Marion gave both me and Gia a hug."

"That's so sweet." Thalia said. "You and Gia are amazing parents."

"Yeah, we wanted to have kids, but Gia was dejected because vampires couldn't have children. And now, with our daughter, Marion, she's our blessing."

"It's amazing how our kids can change who you are. You want to be a good role model for them." Christy said.

"Yeah, we're parents and we're retired, but now and then, we go on missions and battles, but we have people in our lives to come back home to." Zenith said.

"We're awesome, aren't we?" Christy said.

"Yeah, we are." Max said.

"To friendship." Zenith said.

"To friendship." Christy, Thalia and Max.

Zenith, Thalia, Max and Christy clinks their bottles of Ales and takes sips and exchange playful banter and chuckles with each other.
