ST. ANNE'S CHURCH
The next day, after arriving back in New Orleans with Klaus and the others, Christy is doing her workout on a cross-trainer.

Christy continues exercising on the cross-trainer. Her phone buzzes in her pants pocket. She takes out her phone and looks at it.
Caller ID: Odessa
Christy answers her phone. "Odessa?"
"I haven't heard from you in a while. How've you been?" Odessa asked on the phone.
"I've been pretty good." Christy reassured The Elder Goddess Fortune Luck. "And I'm sorry for not contacting you lately."
"It's okay. You're still my girl though." Odessa said with a lightly chuckle.
Christy chuckled on the phone. "So, uh, what's been going on with you lately?"
"Same old same old speakeasy casino stuff and other business." Odessa said. "When are you coming by to visit again? I miss you and your handsome husband?"
"I don't know, but we'll talk about it." Christy said.
"Okay, then, I just wanted to girl-chat with you." Odessa said.
"It was nice of you to call me." Christy said.
"Alright, love you." Odessa said.
"Love you too, Ode." Christy said.
Odessa hangs up her phone and Christy resumes her workout.

Later that day, Christy is in the kitchen, sitting at the kitchen countertop, making herself a strawberry banana smoothie in a blender with a few strawberries, banana slices and some milk.
Rebekah slowly walks into the kitchen. She and Christy exchange looks at each other.
"Hey, Bekah." Christy greeted her with a small polite smile.
"Hello, Christy." Rebekah greeted her back with a small smile. "When did you return back to New Orleans?"
"Last night with Klaus and the others." Christy tells her.
"You've been doing some workouts." Rebekah said, gesturing her workout clothes.
"Yeah, I was at the gym at the St. Anne's Church." Christy said, finishes making her strawberry banana smoothie and pours it into a plastic cup and takes a swig of it. "How are things with you?"
"Things are good for me as usual." Rebekah replied. "You know, you're also popular among the supernatural community as well."
"How come?" Christy asked.
"The witches despises my family, except for you, Zenith, Thalia, and Max. You're the sponsor to the Crescent Wolves and my husband, Marcel and his vampire pals, are good with you. So, basically, you have three friendships with the vampires, werewolves and witches here in the French Quarter." Rebekah said.
"Yeah, because we're so well-liked." Christy playfully teased with a small smile.
Rebekah and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

In the courtyard, Christy listens to some electro-pop music on her phone while she exercises her arm muscles with a knotted rope, gently doing so, with her swinging the knotted rope left and right. At first, she does it gently and slowly, and then, she picks up the pace, gently and swiftly.
From the second floor balcony railing, Klaus gently leans on the railing, looking at his wife as she does her exercises. Rebekah slowly walks up next to him.
"She's been doing her knotted rope exercise routine for 5 minutes." Klaus said.
"I don't see how she does the things she does. Her fighting style as a kickboxer is very good." Rebekah said.
"Christy is extraordinary." Klaus said with a small smile.
"Yeah, she is." Rebekah said.
Klaus and Rebekah exchange small smiles at each other and they both continue to observe Christy as she exercises.

That afternoon, Klaus paints on his canvas with his painting kit. Christy sits on the bed, cross-legged sitting position, while eating some fruit and cheese cubes in a bowl.
"Can I ask you a crazy question?" Christy asked.
Klaus glances at her. "Of course."
"When we met each other, why did you want to use me as a magical weapon?" Christy asked.
Klaus stopped painting and looks at his wife. "I was power-hungry when we met. You had already befriended Marcel and Cami, and they were protecting you from me. Mainly Marcel. I've known about witches before my own life, and when I got a word of an ancient sorceress, I was curious. My first mistake of underestimating you was when you defied me."
"I wasn't gonna take any of your bullshit from you either." Christy said.
Klaus and Christy exchange lightly chuckles with each other.
"I didn't see you as a woman, at first, I saw you as a potential weapon. But when, I finally saw you as a beautiful strong woman capable of taking care of yourself, and you were willing to stand up against me to protect your friends, I underestimated you again. And so, my secret affections started forming and I let myself fall in love." Klaus told her.
"And look at us now." Christy said.
"Yeah, look at us now." Klaus said.
Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.
"But that's bygones now. You have forgiven me. We moved past it." Klaus said.
"Yeah, we have." Christy agreed.
Klaus slowly walks over to the bed and gently takes a grape and eats it.
"Just out of curiosity, what was your first thought of me when you heard of me?" Klaus asked.
"I thought you were lost in your own darkness and you had no way out." Christy told him. "I felt sorry for you."
"I didn't want you to pity me." Klaus said.
"I asked Cami and Elijah about you, I wanted to know you for myself. Everyone saw you as a mean monstrous man, but I saw just a man with a lot of pain." Christy said.
Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other. He walks back over to his canvas painting and resumes painting.
"Okay, then, let's talk about something else." Christy said and looks at Klaus's canvas painting of a fleurs-de-lis. "Nice painting."
"Thanks." Klaus said.
Christy gets up and walks to the middle of the floor and gently crouches down and does some pushups.
"You love working out, don't you?" Klaus said with a glance.
"I'm building my muscles back up and my strength now, that I'm fully recovered." Christy said.
"That's good." Klaus said.
After doing ten pushups, Christy gets back up to her feet. "I'm gonna go take a short shower in the bathroom."
Christy walks over to the bathroom and opens it, leaving the door open. And Klaus ponders about it.
shortly after...
After some pondering, Klaus joined his wife, Christy, in the warm shower in the bathtub shower behind the light blue shower curtain.
The thick shower steam covers their wet, naked bodies as they embrace in a passionate makeout. Christy's back is gently against the bathtub shower wall and Klaus gently has his arms wrapped around her torso with her gently runs her hands in his hair.
The husband and wife continues their passionate make-out with the warm thick shower steam covers them both.

Afterwards, Christy gently lays on the bed, eating a mango peach and reads a book on her Kindle. Klaus has resumed painting his canvas.

"I wanted to take a short shower by myself. You could've just asked." Christy said.
"Yeah, well, it was a last second decision." Klaus said.
Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.
Christy's phone buzzes on the nightstand. She takes her phone and looks at it.
Notification: A gift of $10,000 has been transferred to the savings account of Christiana Mikaelson, Jun and Zhang Lee.
"Whoa." Christy said, surprised.
"What?" Klaus said.
"Odessa transferred $10,000 to my savings account, along with Jun and Zhang." Christy told him.
Klaus becomes surprised. "Really?"
"Yeah, really." Christy said. "I can't take this money."
Christy dials Odessa's phone and Odessa answers it.
"Christiana?" Odessa said on the phone.
"Odessa, I can't take this money that you transferred to my savings account." Christy tells her.
"Take it as a gift or you can share it." Odessa said.
"Odessa?" Christy said.
"Christiana, please, keep it, okay? It's a gift." Odessa said.
"Alright, I'll keep it." Christy said, and hangs up her phone.
Caller ID: Zhang Lee
Christy answers her phone again. "Zhang?"
"Odessa transferred $10,000 to my and Jun's account." Zhang said on the phone.
"I know, she transferred money in my savings account too." Christy said. "Are you and Jun gonna keep it??
"We might as well." Zhang replied. "It's a gift from Odessa, not to mention she's the Elder Goddess Fortune Luck by the way."
"We'll talk about it when I see you guys again." Christy said.
"Alright." Zhang said and hangs up her phone.
"I'll give Luna and Trinity half of the 10,000 in their savings account." Christy said.
"That's thoughtful of you." Klaus said. "I also read your Croft book. You're an amazing writer, Chris."
"Thanks." Christy said with a small smile.
"Will there be a second book?" Klaus asked.
"You'll have to wait and see." Christy replied.
Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. He goes back to his painting and she goes back to her Kindle reading and eating her mango peach.
