The next day, in the French Quarter, everything seems quiet. Except for the sounds of vehicles on the roads.

At the MIKAELSON COMPOUND, Klaus takes a long gulp of his bourbon. He looks at his wife's, Christy's, CROFT book on the nightstand.

He slowly walks over to it and gently picks it up and reads it.

Christy (VO) It has been weeks since the false scandal that surrounded Doctor Mercedes Hartley. And the former Condora Queen Catherine was apprehended for her misdeeds at such a false scandal and attempted murder against Mercedes. With Catherine behind bars at jail, Trystan and Mercedes were finally free of her envious and jealous schemes.

At the Condora Medical Center, Doctor Mercedes Hartley is doing her usual work shifts, attending to patients.

King Trystan Croft walks inside and looks around for his girlfriend, Mercedes Hartley and he sees her.

"Mercedes?" Trystan said.

Mercedes looks at her boyfriend, Trystan. "Trystan?"

Trystan slowly walks up to her. "Are you occupied?" He spoke in his English accent.

"I just finished my last patient, but I have a few minutes before lunch." Mercedes said. "Is everything okay? Did you have another asthma?"

"I'm fine. I just wanted to see you." Trystan said and takes out a velvet ring box. "And to give you a gift."

Trystan and Mercedes exchange small smiles at each other. He opens it, revealing a diamond oval ring.

Mercedes becomes in awe at the diamond oval ring and looks at him.

"Trystan?" Mercedes said, surprised.

"Ever since, you saved my life from my asthma, I couldn't stop thinking about you. And I know you kept your distance out of respect for the crown and because of the doctor-patient relationship, but you have shown more bravery and boldness. And you never exposed my secret, which is my asthma. But anyway, I love you, Mercedes. And I don't want to be separated from you ever again."

Trystan and Mercedes exchange small smiles at each other. He gently gets down on one knee, drawing attention from the other doctors, nurses, and other medical workers and staff.

"Mercedes Hartley? Will you marry me?" King Trystan Croft said.

Mercedes smiles happily. "Yes, I'll marry you."

Trystan and Mercedes exchange happy smiles at each other. Everyone applauds happily. He gently puts the engagement diamond ring.

Trystan gets back up and kisses Mercedes and she kisses him back, passionately. He gently holds her close to him and she gently puts her hands on his shoulders.

King Trystan and Queen-to-be Mercedes Hartley gently pulls away from the passionate kiss and hugs each other.

Christy (VO) King Trystan Croft and Queen-to-be Mercedes Hartley bask in the blissfulness of their engagement and six weeks later, Trystan Croft and Mercedes Hartley-Croft married with Mercedes becoming Queen of Condora.
Despite her queenship, Queen Mercedes kept her medical career as a doctor, and Trystan agreed. However, a dark storm was upon them and Catherine found out that she has become pregnant with the royal heir, Trystan's unborn child. And Catherine once again, plotted to take Trystan back from Mercedes.

Reality

After reading the last chapter 20, Klaus small smiles to himself, sitting on the sofa.

Later that day, with the cool weather at 55° degrees, Christy sits in front of Jun Lee's desk.

[Christy Outfit]

Jun slowly walks up to his desk and sits down behind it. "What are you doing here, Christiana?"

"Just wanted to see you." Christy said.

"Well, it's good seeing you." Jun said, gently folding his arms on the desk.

"Do you know where Zhang is?" Christy asked.

"She's usually at her airbrush tattoo shop." Jun tells her.

"Okay, I'll see you later to hangout with Zhang." Christy said.

"You too, Christiana." Jun said.

Jun and Christy fists bump each other and she gets up, walking away.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- ZHANG LEE'S AIRBRUSH TATTOO PARLOR

Christy slowly walks into the tattoo parlor and looks at Zhang, sitting at her desk, drawing tattoos.

"Hey, Zee." Christy greeted her.

Zhang looks up at Christy and small smiles at her. "Hey, Christiana."

"Jun and I are gonna hangout with each other after my meeting in the conference room. Do you want to join?" Christy asked.

"Sure. I'd love to." Zhang replied with a small smile.

"Okay, I'll see you and Jun later." Christy said, getting up and walks away.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- PALACE CONFERENCE ROOM

In the conference room, the Elder Goddess Celia sits on the throne.
Theseus and Christy are sitting next to each other at the round table with other imperial leaders. They each have a file folder with parchment.

"So, everything is going well, Your Highness Celia. The harvesting has resumed and the harvesters and also the farmers." Theseus said.

"Have we received any random attacks from our enemies lately?" The Elder Goddess Celia asked.

"Not anymore, Your Highness Celia." Christy spoke up. "As far as we know, our enemies could be distracting each other with their own issues and at each other's throats."

"That is a possibility." Theseus agreed with Christy.

"Is there anything else to discuss?" The Elder Goddess Celia asked.

Theseus, Christy and the imperial leaders exchange looks at each other.

"This meeting is concluded." The Elder Goddess Nadia said.

Everyone gets up and walks out of the conference room.

Now, in the hallway, Christy slowly walks and sees the Chief Executives Zenith and Thalia, who just came from another meeting.

"Zenith? Thalia?" Christy said.

Zenith and Thalia looks at Christy and small waves at her. Christy catches up to them.

"Hello, Christy." Zenith greeted her with a small smile. "Thalia and I have finished a conference meeting."

"Yeah, me too." Christy said. "I just wanted to say "Hi" to you two guys."

"It's good to see you, Christy." Thalia said.

"Have you guys seen Max around?" Christy asked them.

"I think he's attending his General Commander business with General Markos." Thalia said.

"Okay, I'll see you guys around or in the French Quarter." Christy said.

"You too." Zenith said.

And Christy walks away.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- BOARDWALK

That afternoon, the Lee siblings, Jun and Zhang and Christy are taking a stroll together with their ice cream cups with plastic spoons.

"Have you been attending kickboxing fights, Juny?" Zhang asked her older brother.

"Sometimes." Jun replied.

"Some of those kickboxing fights has rivals, you know?" Christy said.

"I know." Jun said.

"And now, with your interpol agency that you have, it keeps you occupied from those kickboxing fights." Zhang said.

"I can balance both, Zhang." Jun said.

"Jun Lee?" A kickboxer Man, Vaco, said and slowly walks up to the three of them.

Jun, Zhang and Christy stopped their stroll and looks at him.

"I haven't been seeing you around at the kickboxing club." Vaco said.

"I have something else now, but the kickboxing thing is part-time." Jun said.

"I have $500 dollar cash for our rematch." Vaco said.

"Sorry, I'm not kickboxing tonight, Vaco." Jun told him. "Besides, I won the kickboxing match, so, there's no rematch."

Vaco then, pushes Jun to provoke him into kickboxing again. But Jun clenches his jaw, containing his anger.

"Why don't you back off, Vaco." Christy told him, defending her childhood best friend, Jun.

"Christiana, I can handle this." Jun said.

Vaco and Christy exchange tense looks at each other.

"I'm not gonna fight you again in a rematch, Vaco, so, please, just go away." Jun told him with a calm expression on his face.

"Fine." Vaco said and looks at Zhang and Christy.

"Just go away, Vaco." Zhang said.

Vaco and Jun exchange tense looks at each other. And Vaco walks away.

"Such an asshole." Christy said.

"Jun?" Zhang said.

"I'm okay." Jun reassured his younger sister.

"Let's just leave." Christy said.

"I'm not gonna let Vaco ruin our spending time together." Jun said.

"Well, you guys go ahead, I have to go, it's a date." Christy said and slowly walks away.

To which Jun and Zhang smiles at. "Sounds romantic."

Jun, Zhang and Christy exchange playful chuckles with each other and Christy walks away.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- THE OLIVE RESTAURANT

That evening, Christy slowly walks into the half-empty restaurant.

[Christy Dress Outfit]

"Chris?" Klaus said, sitting at the bar counter, wearing his usual dark tieless suit and shoes. He wiggles his fingers at her.

Christy small smiles at him and walks up to her husband. Klaus and Christy shares a hug.

"Hi." Christy said.

"Hello." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

Shortly after...

Klaus and Christy are sitting at the bar counter with their usual charcuterie board of food and desserts with wine glasses of red wine.

"So, how's everything at the French Quarter?" Christy asked, eating small forkful bite of her pasta.

"Everything seems fine for now." Klaus said.

"But?" Christy said.

"You know how it is among the supernatural community, the bloodshed doesn't quite end." Klaus said, eating a small forkful bite of his own food.

"Klaus?" Christy said, giving him a look.

"What? I'm just saying." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange chuckles with each other.

"I've seen you fight in kickboxing." Klaus said. "You have so much knowledge growing up here. Whether it's fighting or something else."

"I had mentors growing up here, you know that and my brain is just full of knowledge." Christy said.

"You do have smart brains." Klaus said. "And you're in the voice in my head sometimes."

"I am?" Christy said, a bit surprised.

"I sometimes do hear your voice in my head, telepathically, but also, when I don't, I just feel like I don't want to ever let you down or disappoint you." Klaus said.

"How could you ever let me down or disappoint me?" Christy asked.

"I feel like whenever I mess up or cause a problem, somehow, you're gonna find out about it." Klaus said.

"You're worried about screwing things up in the French Quarter, and someone is gonna tell me about it." Christy said.

"Yeah." Klaus said.

"Klaus? Do you remember how we met?" Christy asked.

"I do." Klaus replied. "And I learned my lesson about underestimating you. I mean, I sort of thought that you were getting close to Elijah."

"Nope, I didn't want Elijah, in a friendly way, not romantically, but you, however, you're a person with a complicated mysterious vibe." Christy said.

"Romeo and Juliet is one your favorite books." Klaus said.

"Yeah, two star-crossed young teenage lovers, in the middle of their family feud, they fall in love and get married, things didn't go so well and they both ended up dead." Christy said. "It's a tragedy love story."

"Like Le Grand Guignol." Klaus said.

"When we started dating, you told me it was an opera." Christy said.

"I did." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

"I appreciated our date." Christy said.

"So did I." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange another small smiles at each other.

Later that evening, after Klaus paid for the dinner date, he and Christy are gently holding each other's hands, taking a stroll.

"You used the octagon teleportation device to get here, didn't you?" Christy asked.

"I did." Klaus tells her.

"Well, I don't want to cut short our stroll, but I have to do some stuff." Christy said.

"I understand." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy stopped their stroll and looks at each other.

"I enjoyed our date." Christy said.

"I did too." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and they share a passionate kiss and gently leans their foreheads on each other's.
