The next day, in the courtyard, Luna and Trinity sits at the table, video-chatting with their mother, Christy, on the iPad tablet.

"Luna and I made brownies, and Auntie Ana observed us." Trinity said.

"Did you girls follow the instructions correctly?" Christy asked.

"We did." Luna said.

"We saved you four in the refrigerator, it's a plastic container." Trinity said.

"Can't wait to try them when I get there." Christy said.

"You're coming here?" Luna asked, surprised.

"I'm already in the hangar." Christy said.

"We can't wait to see you Mom." Trinity said.

"I can't wait to see you guys too. I'll be there in a few minutes." Christy said.

"Love you, Mom." Luna and Trinity said in unison.

"Love you girls too." Christy said and hangs up the video-chat.

Minutes after driving her orange classic '74 Honda Civic hatchback car, Christy, Luna and Trinity sits at the table with a plastic container of brownies. Christy reheated them in the microwave.

"These brownies are good, even reheated." Christy said.

"What's been going on at Mount Orasani lately?" Trinity asked.

"The same old usual." Christy said.

And then, Klaus slowly walks into the courtyard. "Christy?"

Christy small smiles at her husband. "Hey, Honey."

"When did you arrive back in New Orleans?" Klaus asked.

"A few minutes ago." Christy tells him. "My car needed some driving, so, I drove here."

"Even though, you can't stay long, it's good to see you." Luna said.

"I know." Christy said.

"Can we hangout at Zenith's and Thalia's?" Luna asked.

"Sure, if Zenith and Thalia are at their monastery manor." Christy said.

"Okay." Trinity said.

Luna and Trinity both gets up and walks away, gently walks up the stairs.

Klaus sits next to Christy at the table.

"Hi." Christy said.

"Hello." Klaus said.

"You look tired." Christy said.

"Perhaps, it's usually this conflict drama amongst the supernatural." Klaus said.

Christy's phone buzzes in her jacket pocket. She takes out her phone and looks at it.

Caller ID: Theseus

Christy answers her phone. "Theseus?"

"Christiana? The chateau was recently broken in a minute ago." Theseus told her on the phone.

"What? By who?" Christy asked, bewildered.

"I do not know as of now, Dementrio is investigating." Theseus said.

"Is Frances Rose okay?" Christy asked.

"She was the one that informed me about the break-in when she arrived." Theseus tells her.

"Okay, I'm on my way." Christy said, and hangs up her phone.

"What's going on?" Klaus asked.

"The chateau was recently broken-in." Christy told him. "I gotta go."

Klaus and Christy exchange concerned looks at each other.

HOME ISLAND OF MOUNT ORASANI -- THE FRENCH CHATEAU

Later that day, Christy arrived at the chateau. She slowly walks around in the grand foyer with mess scattered everywhere and the furniture has been damaged.

The housekeepers are cleaning it up.

Theseus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Who would break into the chateau?" Christy asked.

"I do not know, Milady, but Dementrio is looking into it." Theseus said. "The housekeepers are doing the best they can to clean and repair the damage."

"Okay." Christy said.

A minute later...

The housekeepers have cleaned up the mess and repaired the furniture. Frances Rose and Christy vacuum the broken glass on the floor and emptied the vacuum.

"Is that everything?" Christy asked.

"It is." Frances Rose said.

"Thanks Frances for your help." Christy said.

"You're welcome, Milady." Frances Rose said.

The door bell rings. And Frances Rose walks up to the door and opens it.

Dementrio, the head charge of security guards, is there. He walks into the foyer.

"Dementrio?" Christy said.

"Milady." Dementrio said. "I assume that Theseus has informed you of the investigation of the break-in?"

"He did." Christy said.

"I will solve this investigation the best way I can." Dementrio said.

"Okay." Christy said.

That late afternoon, in the grand foyer, Christy sits on the staircase on the phone with her husband, Klaus.

"Dementrio is investigating the break-in here at the chateau." Christy tells him.

"Was there any damage?" Klaus asked on the phone.

"Not that much." Christy told him. "Just broken glass and tore up furniture. The housekeepers repaired the furniture, and Frances Rose and I vacuumed the glass."

"So, does Dementrio know about the culprit?" Klaus asked.

"Not yet, he started the investigation." Christy said and then, she smells gas coming from the kitchen. "Wait a minute?"

"What's wrong?" Klaus asked.

"I smell gas coming from the kitchen." Christy said, getting up and walks away.

Now, in the kitchen, Christy looks at the stovetop with gas on and the oven on with heat coming from it.

"Christy?" Klaus asked on the phone.

"I'm still here, Klaus." Christy said. And shout out for Frances Rose. "Frances?"

Frances Rose walks into the kitchen.

"Did you leave the stove on and the oven opened?" Christy asked.

"I didn't." Frances Rose said.

Christy turns off the stovetop and closes at oven suddenly, a fire starts and smoke.

"Oh my gosh." Christy said.

"Christy? What's going on?!" Klaus asked.

"There's a fire and smoke." Christy said and starts coughing.

Frances Rose starts to cough.

"Frances? Get the housekeepers out of here and go outside." Christy tells her. "I'll be right behind you."

Frances Rose walks away, gathering the other housekeepers and takes them outside out front.

Christy continues coughing on the phone.

"Christy?! Get the hell out of the chateau?!" Klaus exclaimed, worried.

"I am." Christy said and scurries away just as an explosion happens, and Christy sent flying backwards and lands on the ground.

Christy lays on the ground, unconscious covered in soot with scrape wounds on her face. Her phone ended the phone call with Klaus and the phone screen shattered.

"Christiana?!" Frances Rose exclaimed, worried, scurrying up to her and gently cradles her in her arms. "Call 911."

- Third POV -

Later that evening, at the MIKAELSON COMPOUND, after the phone call went dead, Klaus becomes worried about his wife, Christy.

Rebekah slowly walks into the courtyard where Klaus, Elijah and Ana are.

"Rebekah? What is it?" Elijah asked.

"Theseus just called. There was an explosion at the French chateau." Rebekah tells them with a worried look. "Frances Rose and the housekeepers got out. But Christy . . ."

"I just spoke to her on the phone." Klaus said. "I heard the explosion and the phone went dead."

"Is Christy okay?" Ana asked.

"She's unconscious and is being taken to the medical center." Rebekah told them.

"How the hell did this happen?" Ana asked. "First, you told us that there was a break-in at the chateau and now, an explosion."

"Theseus said that it's possible that the break-in is connected to the fire explosion." Rebekah said.

Klaus remain silent upon progressing what has been told.

Elijah gently puts a reassuring hand on his brother's, Klaus's, shoulder. "Christy's alive, Niklaus."

Klaus and Elijah exchange worried looks at each other.
