"𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲"

it's total chaos, there're gun shots heard everywhere.

maia and noah fight back too back, him in a suit, her in her wedding dress. both are screaming warnings to each other, where to look, where to shoot. and suddenly noah doesn't hear her anymore.

he looks around, worry growing bigger. noah does not see her. where maia had been before, she's not anymore. no sign where she had gone, but noah is sure, that someone must have took her.
how is the question, he knows maia wouldn't let herself be taken without a fight, but he did not hear anything, so how had it been possible he questions.

but he can't just stand there. noah runs, trying to find soap, ghost, price, anyone he really trusts. there they are, bodies lying around them.

"maia is gone!", he screams, anger and fear lying in his voice. the three men immediately look up, stress in their eyes. "what? how?", price questions and noah shakes his head, "i don't know, she was right behind me one minute ago and suddenly i didn't hear her anymore. someone took her. i have to find her, i have to find maia now. someone took my wife!"

soap and ghost immediately grab his shoulders, holding him back. "not without a plan you won't. you know she wouldn't want you to throw yourself into danger without having a plan."

noah doesn't want to accept these words but he knows soap is right. he knows if maia knew that he is close to doing something stupid she definitely would hit him and call him an idiot. is is still maia they are talking about here.

"okay, then let's make a plan, i can't just wait. i need her, soap. i can't imagine what they might do to her if we aren't fast enough."

"𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠"

it had been a few weeks since maia's and noah's wedding, the day maia had been abducted. maybe four or five weeks, noah couldn't tell anymore.

he hadn't really slept a lot, constantly working on finding out who had taken maia and where she was held captive. they had found out, that the kidnappers had a connection to shadow company, which was strange, because his old team had been disbanded for a few years. that confused noah, but he couldn't to be stopped by that fact, maia still wasn't home, at his side.

bringing her back was the most important thing currently and 141, not only noah, was working on it day and night.

"we found the place they're keeping her:", said soap as he entered the room noah was researching in. noah immediately looked up, hope glimmering in his eyes. this was huge news and both men knew it.

"where?", noah asked, yawning shortly after. "in a small town near chicago. it's apparently an abandoned mine town, but for some reason there are still trucks entering and leaving the town. and on the day maia was taken, it was a huge convoy. also it wasn't very noticeable, but after surveying the happenings there over the last weeks, the shadow company logo has been spotted on the trucks and uniforms.", explained soap. "we need to go there. if she's there, i need to get her.", soap stopped noah's rambling, "firstly you have to sleep. we can't risk you being sleepy and unfocused. we will leave tomorrow. price and ghost have a plan, you will get the infos in the helicopter."

noah nodded, "we are getting my wife back."

noah, for the first time since the wedding, had been able to actually sleep through the night, not very calmly since maia wasn't yet with him, but better than before. on the helicopter, ghost and price told him their plan, how to rescue maia. they knew that she was held in a house in the middle of the town, in the basement. the surrounding area was very well protected, soldiers in every house and look out towers, but they had managed to send their own soldiers in undercover, who would help them enter the town and support them in a possibly happening fight. the plan wasn't fully worked out and it was possible, that something would go wrong, but noah didn't want to imagine these possibilities. they would go in there, rescue maia and leave. this would work, he believed in it.

the helicopter landed a bit away from the village, so they could enter unobtrusive, without anyone noticing them.

through surveillance they had found a spot that wasn't as protected as the rest of the outskirt of the town, so they would enter through there. it was a bit more away from the house maia was held in, but it was the safest enter point.

noah was nervous. he knew that his friends and teamsmates would do anything for maia and he also knew that their plan was well worked out, but they didn't exactly know all the weapons and safety measures the enemy soldiers had taken. they could be wandering into a huge trap, but at this moment, nothing suspicious was happening.

price and ghost went in front, ghost entering one of the towers, silently taking out the soldiers in there to take a spot where he could help them through town from above.

the first steps had worked.

the rest of the team sneaked through the streets, inching closer to the main house, closer to maia. still no alarms, it looked like everything would turn out fine. but he couldn't yet be sure, not until he saw and could hold maia.

suddenly, ghost spoke up. "look out, soldiers near you, right side. suspicious behaviour.", the men on ground stopped, waiting, what the enemy soldiers would do next.

something wasn't right. the soldiers were walking right into their directions, but according to the information their undercover agents had given them, there shouldn't be any soldiers at this time of day. noah started to worry. either the information had been wrong, or there had been someone undercover in their own ranks, gathering their own informations. as he looked around, he realised, that two soldiers who had been sent with them now were missing. "someone told them.", he whispered, "the two soldiers are missing.". price quietly swore, trying to figure out, what they could do next. the house was already visible to them, so close. but the enemy soldiers were in their way. "let's fight. it would have happened sooner or later. it's the only way.", noah whispered.

soap sighted, but they all knew, that he was right. ghost was above, he could help them, surveilling the area and supporting them.

price was the one who would have to make a decision, and the leading command. "let's do this. for maia.", he said and left his hiding spot, no being in plain sight of the soldiers, noah and soap right behind him. to no one's surprise an alarm started to blare and the soldiers started to shot, 141 returning those. the three men started to run, ghost cutting down soldiers left and right, which noah was grateful for. "noah and soap, you two enter the house and get maia out of there. i can hold my ground with the undercover agents. GO."

noah and soap obviously didn't complain and started running to the main entrance. they were able to easily defend themselves, clearly being stronger and more trained than their enemies. noah was in front, johnny right behind him, keeping his back free. there was only one staircase down, so they slowly, guns aimed, walked down the stairs. a few soldiers tried to keep them from going down further, but were cleared soon.

arriving in the basement, noah and soap started searching the rooms, trying to find maia.

then, in the last, and the biggest, room noah noticed a familiar looking person in the corner, running.

he saw how the person looked up and immediately knew, that it was his wife maia. relief washed over him and he knelt on the floor in front of her.

"noah?", she quietly asked, disbelief clearly being audible. "yes it's me. 141 is here to get you. fuck, i am sorry that it took us so long.", he said, cupping her face. "shut up and let's leave. i don't wanna be here anymore, the company was shit.", maia said and smiled. that was definitely his maia, despite being held captive for such along time still able to crack jokes. "yes, let's do that.", noah said, cracking her handcuffs and handing her a pistol.

the couple plus soap left the house, without being attacked on the stairs and started running back in the direction of the helicopter, price and a second later ghost too following them.

the small group was able to enter the waiting helicopter without any big problems. in the helicopter, noah instantly had to kiss maia, both of them finally being with each other again. they both smiled at each other, relief written in their face. "i, we're glad to have you back.", noah said. "thank you for getting me. it was getting really boring down there.", maia replied and smiled.

yes, this was definitely still the same maia he had fallen in love with and even married.
