2: I am NOT a Sin
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I shrieked, kicking the demon boy in the side and sending him flying, catching him off-guard.
"SIR MELIODAS!" Uh... who's the princess? The princess with the silver hair? Shit. Is that the ... shit me. "Are you okay?"
"What the hell was that?" the impish blonde sat up on the floor and rubbed the back of his head. And then his eyes drifted onto my figure. "[Y/N], what was that for?"
"You got something stuck in your head, you miserable, spineless evil twat?" I spat. Okay, I'm not that good with talking while angry. I don't process what I say. And most of it is the lamest villain lines (or comebacks) that you've ever heard.
"Uh, what are you talking about?" the blonde asked me.
"Uh..." Why was I angry again? I don't remember. Maybe that's why I'm lame when I try to act all mean. "Something Ban said?" Was it? I think so.
"Huh? What did Ban say to you, [Y/N]?" asked Meliodas.
"I... don't... exactly remember. But there he is!" I shouted as I pointed to his figure coming up with Diane and King. "Why don't you go and ask him?"
Meliodas turned to the silver haired fox sin of greed. "Hey, Ban, what did you say to [Y/N]?"
This intrigued the male (or so it seemed with his raised eyebrows as his eyed darted between the pair of us). "Oh, I told her you thought she was useless and you had been going easy on her."
"She is. When she's your partner in charades, but nothing else!" The blonde chirped as he gave me a closed-eye grin.
I glared at him. "You still called me useless."
"I told you guys to bring her here of her own free will. Not to make her angry to get her here." Meliodas told the trio.
"Don't look at us. Ban did most of the talking." Kin explained.
"Besides the fact, [Y/N], you will help us." Merlin looks the same as I remember. But then again so does everyone else.
"I don't need to." I huffed, turning away from the sins and crossing my arms over my chest.
"You will." Merlin replied.
"Give me a reason." I retorted.
"Rule Number Four." If a friend is in crisis, everybody needs to use all of their power to help.
"That's where you're wrong. None of you are my friend. You're just people I worked with in the past. Now if you excuse me, I have to go finish my shift at the bar." And with that, I walked out of the tavern.
**
"So," why did the moron have to draw out that one word? "this is where you work? It seems nice."
"What do you want, Meli?" I asked, my tone harsher than I meant to make it.
"I came to-."
"Not that." I cut him off. "What would you like? Since you are at a bar and all."
"Oh, your finest ale then please!" What is he playing at?
I sighed and poured him a mug of our best ale and passed it to him. And I went back to wiping down the counter as Meliodas sipped his ale. I may have known him for an excruciating amount of time, but it stills looks wrong to see someone who looks under the age of twelve drinking. Well to my knowledge Cana has been drinking since she was eleven and the drinking age in Fiore is fourteen.
"You hear who showed up at the Grand Magic Games Finale on Friday?" asked a man from a group that sat at a table.
"Yeah, the Salamander." Natsu. "But then he and the celestial mage," Lucy. "went to find the other memebers. Someone should have told them Hydra was-."
And the statement was haulted by the sound of shattering glass. And the glass got all over my feet. And they would have hurt if I didn't have a high pain tolerance.
"What's wrong? I heard a crash." Zinnie looked at my feet and sighed. "Clean up. Both the glass and your cut up feet. I don't need your injuries to be infected and you to do the unsanitary work because of that." Yeah, I don't want to clean the bathrooms or the puke on the floor. Zinnie walked away from the ordeal and I began picking up the glass.
"You okay down there? Need any help friend?" I know what you're trying to do, asshole.
"Nah. This isn't the worst that's happened to me. Definitely not one of the best either. But I got it." I told him.
I tossed the glass into the trash and took a seat at the bar to get the glass out of my feet. "Let me help."
I sighed. "Fine." I placed my feet in his lap and he started to take the shards out of my feet.
"You know the Salamander of Fiore?" asked Meliodas. I cocked my head to the side at him. "They said Salamander and you death gripped the glass."
"Yeah, I do." I nodded.
"How?" he asked.
"He's family."
"Really?"
I nodded. "Because of him." I didn't need to say anything else. Because Meliodas understood.
"I'm guessing he's why you don't want to join up with us." Meliodas explained.
"One of the reasons actually. Ow!" He had finished taking the shards out of my feet and was now massaging my feet (and he hit a tender spot in my foot).
"Sorry. But you know if my brother or another commandment stomps through Fiore, he's going to be in danger."
I shook ny head. "Fairy Tail won't let that happen. They don't ever give up. Not even... in death. As long as they can still move, they'll fight. They'll win. We've faced lullaby, the tower of heaven, another world, the three most powerful dark guilds in the country, where one was made entirely of Etherios demons, Nirvana, Deliora, eclipse spirits, dragons that came through a timewarp gate, a ruthless magic guild, and a war between our guild and another one for one of us, a battle amongst ourselves to prove our worth to one of our own. So I don't see a problem with it."
"Awe! Come on, [Y/N]. Help us. Please. I know for a fact you can't say no to these green eyes." Blondie pointed at his eyes.
He had a point. I sighed. "I will, but I have some conditions. One, we'll do whatever I say because I had a problem with being heard before. Two, when this is over, I'm no longer a sin. I just want to live as an S-Class mage of Fairy Tail. Three, we find my Fairy Tail friends. They are now my priority. Four, I want to fight the seven of you simultaneously. It's both an ego boost and training for when we actually fight the Ten Commandments."
"Hi. Are you okay?" The boy held out a hand to me.
"Okay." He had his hand out for me to shake. And just like when we first met, I shook it.
