many people may view this ship as simple, but it is far more than that. they seem very laidback and chill, but the connection that these two have is almost astonishing.

ahri struggles with expressing herself through verbal words, and namjoon knew that. so, he gifted her a notebook. from that time on, she always wrote her emotions and thoughts into that little book. that's also how she started writing songs.

namjoon is her emotional support, and he makes sure that she feels comfortable at any given times. he's always been there to encourage and make her feel better. if it wasn't for him, who knows what the tragic outcome of yona's life would be.

and yona always uses any given chance where she senses namjoon losing his strong composure—being there to support him for once. she's aware that her leader is a stead-fast person, but everyone has worries and insecurities. and so does namjoon. ahri just wants to return what he gifts her with every single day.

it's remarkable to see how protective and defensive seokjin gets once something happens to ahri. she appreciates it deeply, yet sometimes he exaggerates and goes over the top. yona herself is someone who values freedom, and his over-protectiveness can annoy her if he doesn't know when to stop.

seokjin always lectures her—saying that she shouldn't constantly go out and behave without having the need to drink something because of the media and paparazzi. they sometimes fight about that, but they make up easily.

both of them a rather mixed relationship. sweet and sour, to be exact.

in the beginning, they couldn't stand each other. yoongi always interfered in ahri's life, and she simply wasn't having it—talking back to him all the time.

they were so clouded by the idea that they hardly dislike each other that they never got to notice how similar they actually are. once they noticed that, though, they started being content with each other. and being content went to becoming respected colleagues, and lastly to becoming great friends.

yoongi is a big help to her when it comes to producing songs. although yona is a genius when it comes to writing lyrics, she struggles with actually finding a nice beat that would fit them.

although they'd never admit it when the other one is around, they actually enjoy spending time in each other's soothing and calming presence.

these two chaotic people have a fun-filled and extremely weird relationship—if you observe them from an outsider's eye.

they always manage to get the best out of one another. simply saying: they complete each other wholesomely. armys immediately start slapping out a whole analysis whether or not they're fighting when aren't seated next to each other or at a radius of maximum two meters.

ahri and hoseok love to have deep discussions about the dumbest things possible. once, they fought about whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza.

hoseok brings out a side of ahri that not many people know, and yona reveals a side out of hoseok thag only the closest are aware of.

it's also a well-known fact that yona is soft and simply whipped for hoseok. anything that man does is supported by her. if he laughs, she laughs. if he asks for something, she's the first to answer. if he isn't present, she searches for him.

and that is incredibly rare for someone like ahri—who mostly hides her real emotions to people that are dear to her. but when it comes to hoseok, she just can't conceal it. that girl is so soft for him, somebody save her.

but fans are also aware of the fact that hoseok is terrified of ahri. like, severely. he always double-checks to see her reaction, or he's generally careful about what he says in front of her. it's all fun, of course. sometimes. but if yona would know that he is scared of her, her heart would break.

this duo has a mischievous, teasing, yet affectionate relationship. they're the biggest slytherins someone could know.

unsurprisingly, they got along right off the bat. their hidden sassy sides pulled them closer. they're so fun to be around. most of the time, they judge other people by single glances and start laughing together while cupping their mouths shut—and legit no one knows why they're suddenly cackling together, even though they're apart by more than 6 meters. it makes zero sense to others, but to them it's self-explanatory.

although many people and fans only see that side of them, there are finer details to be identified. when jimin was struggling, she was by his side unconditionally. when yona was struggling, he was by her side—although she didn't talk. he was just in her presence, and that was enough. they're each other's motivation.

another known fact is that jimin loves to "flirt" with his younger members. he wants to succeed in making her blush or flustered, but ahri almost never gets embarrassed, which leads both of them to an incessant amount of playful flirtations.

these two are so weird. fans view their relationship as "mysterious, yet also like an open book," because they're immensely hard to read, but somehow aren't. yet many fail to understand that their relationship in general is complex.

they don't know how to show affections toward each other. well, they do know, but others never do. their ways of showing their love to each other is simply weird to others. it's always rather low-key. they value their friendship dearly, so they both silently agreed that they are in no need of showing that to others—even if many, many shippers are expecting that.

once they're on stage, though, all of those promises are thrown out the window. they're wilding, honey. it could be the happiest song alive, but they'd still manage to do make it sensual. the deep stares, seductive eyes, being mere inches away from each other. when taehyung has a tie on, she loves pulling it so that he can be closer to her. taehyung just lightly touches her chin with his fingers and the fans start screaming.

taehyung and yona knew each other before they joined bts. she didn't label their friendship as close, but they definitely were. ahri always says that he was annoying and kept on running after her.

this is what outsiders and locals would immediately think when looking at the two of them interact, but their relationship is far more than that. the complete opposite, actually.

it's just that ahri loves to reject his immense load of affection and love. anytime he tries hugging or kissing her, she pushes him away harshly. and that ends up in physical fights. it's all fun and games, though, don't worry! jungkook knows that yona only does it for fun, and so he plays along. he still chases after her endlessly, of course, but he's incredibly competitive himself and wants to "win" her love over.

what is also a well-known fact is that these are simply soulmates. and, no, that's not what armys observed and labeled. it's what jungkook openly stated himself. and he still does it. every single time. in every interview. someone make him shut up.

seriously, though. they communicate without saying anything. they simply glance in each other's direction and immediately know what the other one is feeling. it's scary to both of them sometimes. jungkook always senses when she is feeling angry or irritated, and strives to make her day instantly. ahri is also always aware when he's lying about being fine, when he clearly is not.

yona once admitted during a vlive that jungkook is some sort of escape to her. he creates a mind-blowing bubble of his own and causes her to be detached from reality—which she severely seeks. she threatened armys to keep it a secret, though, because she knows that jungkook wouldn't shut up about it if he knew.

jungkook likes teasing her because he's older by three weeks, meanwhile yona loves fighting him in general. most of the time, they have petty fights and bicker all day. it's always jungkook showing his love while ahri shoves him in a lovely way.

but, at the end of the day, they can indubitably count on each other. they're two peas in a pot. two pieces of bread that form a toast. two soulmates.
