chapter thirty-seven
"They're finally united again!" Seokjin exclaims with a huge smile on his face, extending his arms widely. The boys chuckle lightly, as Taehyung and Ahri slowly exit the bedroom.
Jimin and Jeongguk make kissing sounds. "I hope you guys didn't do anything too intimate in there," Jimin continuously teases them, smirking while raising his eyebrows.
"At least I'm not the one who got a boner by her sitting on my lap," mumbles Taehyung as he passes by, quiet and slow, so that only his other 95' liner could hear him.
The older ones eyes stretch widely, his cheeks suddenly kissed by the sun. He's quick to slap Taehyung's shoulder, whispering harshly, "We promised to never talk about that again!"
"Well, we also promised to not tease me about—" Taehyung continues, but gets cut off by the leader. Namjoon changes the subject, stating, "I planned something, guys."
As all of the confused yet curious members are watching and listening to him patiently, he continues, "Let's go to the rooftop, so I can show you."
"So, show me~" sing-songs Yona. She makes cute and small movements, as the group follows the leader on their way outside.
After taking the staircase, the members arrive at the rooftop. While Namjoon is shyly standing behind them, the rest of the group are gaping at the sight in front of them; simply shocked and utterly stunned.
Their eyes are pried open, as they're gazing at the ground to look at the dozens of pillows and blankets, and back up to take glances at the welcoming night-sky.
As night falls, the blue haze of day lifts to reveal the stars. Yona always feels that this is closer to the truth of who they are. She wonders if they were nocturnal, they would feel more connected to those far away stars, perhaps sensing the fragility of Earth all the more.
To her, the night is when the curtain is pulled back, when they get to see out of the window, they call "the sky" to the universe beyond. But this time, the universe lays right in front of them.
"When did you plan all of this?" Jeongguk whispers in complete mesmerization. His doe-eyes are stretched even wider, mouth ajar.
Namjoon shrugs sheepishly, looking down at the ground. "After all of the hardships that we went through in a short period of time, I thought that it would be a great idea to log out of that Idol-Life, and to get back at who we really are: teenagers."
"Oh, my God..." Ahri mumbles, a wide smile playing on her lips. "My love for you just expanded to the galaxy."
Soon on, a light blush alights on Namjoon's cheeks. His dimples poke into his flawless skin, while a small smile takes upon his face.
"Man, I'm going to cry if you're going to continue being this cute!" whines Yona. Before somebody could hold her up, she rushes towards the leader, squishing his body against her with her entire existence.
The others chuckle, and they soon on join their wholesome hug. For some people, hugs are a simple way to be in physical contact with someone, yet for them, a hug is way more than that.
It is the light in their darkness. Even in their velvet dark, there is the light of the stars upon them, perhaps a promise that even when they yearn for the light of the sun, there will be those stars to bring the hope of the dawn.
After they slowly pull apart, they comfortably lay down on the blanket and pillow-filled ground. "Ah, this is nice," Yoongi mumbles to himself, immediately closing his eyes to go to sleep.
But before Yoongi could take a nice nap, Hoseok exclaims in an extraordinary loud tone, "Let's tell some stories!"
"What stories, hyung?" asks Jimin, a slight crease building on his forehead because of the furrowing of his eyebrows.
"All kinds of stories! Stories from your childhood, stories from your parents, bed-time stories!" There's a wide smile on Hoseok's face, as he continues while excessively waving his hands around. "Oh! And stories about our trainee days, when Ahri wasn't with us yet!"
The group nods their heads in unison, agreeing with his idea. They hum to themselves whilst thinking about some great stories to tell, Seokjin being the first one to say, "It was Valentine's day. I remember that I got many letters and flowers—"
"Ooh, you banged some bad bit—" Ahri cuts him off while wiggling her eyebrows, only to be interfered by Seokjin himself again. "From boys. They all put them in my locker," he deadpans.
The eldest pauses for a second, only to think back to Ahri's words, being quick to slap the back of her head. "Watch your language, young lady."
"I remember when we used to train ourselves to death," mumbles Yoongi with his eyes closed. "Wait, we still do that."
"Don't be so negative!" Hoseok exclaims, throwing a pillow at his face. He hums deeply, before saying, "I always think about the day when Yona joined us. It was so wild."
"Wild? What do you mean by that?" she questions, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
"Well..." Hoseok scratches the back of his head in slight embarrassment. "We didn't really like the idea, to be honest. Especially Yoongi hyung."
"Well, I didn't like the idea of me being in a group with seven men, but look where we are at now," Ahri states in a deadpanned tone.
But as she sees a pout building on Hoseok's face, she's quick to shake her head in denial whilst her eyes are dilating, waving her hands around. "N-No! I'm just joking!"
"Jeongguk was terrified!" Jimin reveals, laughing while shaking the youngest shoulder. "He was so scared. Especially from you. He always thought that you were mean and that you didn't like him at all."
"Why would you think that?" Ahri asks, laughing a little herself.
Jeongguk looks up slowly, his eyes widely opened. "I don't know... Your rapping kind of terrified me. Not that it's bad! No, it's the complete opposite! But I always thought that you would go all Cypher on me if I did something wrong."
"Go all what?" she questions, frowning.
Taehyung exclaims in joy, "Cypher! It's when the Rap-Line disses our haters! They just performed the second part a few months ago."
"Didn't you know?" asks Seokjin, his eyebrows furrowed. "The Rap-Line said that you didn't want to do it."
"Oh, did they?" Ahri sarcastically remarks, slowly moving her eyes at the horrified three boys. "I don't remember saying that," she continues in an ironical way.
"Those were really funny stories! Let's get back now—" Namjoon desperately tries to change the subject, a nervous smile on his face.
Ahri shakes her head slowly, clicking her tongue. "No, no, no. I want to know more about that Cypher-thing that I have no damn clue of."
Namjoon chuckles nervously. "I don't think we should do that, Yona-ssi—"
"Hobi hyung." Yona gazes at the other rapper now. She puts her irresistible puppy-eyes on, pouting slightly. She asks in an extra small voice, tilting her head to the side cutely, "What is Cypher?"
Hoseok sweats uncontrollably, not sure if he can resist his female member's cuteness while the two other rappers are burning his skull with their glares. "Um..."
"You don't want to break my heart, right?" She continues on manipulating him. Her pout grows even deeper, and her eyes are slowly getting wet by her false tears. Ahri begins to hiccup, stuttering, "I-I thought we had something special—"
"Namjoon and Yoongi hyung didn't want you in the Cypher series because they said that you are a girl!" Hoseok admits in a very quick voice, his tone loud and clear.
Slowly yet surely, a stony silence creeps onto the group. The only sound that passes through the air are the rustling leaves, and maybe even the gasps of betrayal from Yoongi and Namjoon.
Unhurriedly, Ahri moves her head towards the two other rappers, her eyes narrowing meanly. She breathes heavily, everyone watching her with big eyes.
"Get the tea ready, because we're about to have a feast!" Jimin whispers into Taehyung's ear, smirking to himself.
Right after he finishes his sentence, the female member rushes towards Namjoon and Yoongi, attacking them with her whole body. In between every over-pronounced word, there is a punch with a pillow, "What... The... F—"
The two boys are protecting their bodies in an extremely fragile way; their arms in front of their faces, many whines escaping them.
Yet before Ahri could continue, Seokjin grabs the girl by her waist and pulls her back. Whilst being in the eldest arms, she yells while pointing at both of them, "I expect shit like that from Yoongi hyung, but you, Namu hyung?"
Still struggling in Seokjin's grip, Yona wiggles excessively, stating loudly, "Just because I'm a girl, I'm not allowed to diss other people, or what?"
"It's not like that!" Yoongi tries to defend himself. "We didn't exactly say that it's because of your gender!"
"Yeah!" Namjoon joins, nodding his head. "It just may be because you're too young, or it may be too rough..."
"Boy, I've been through hell two times. Dissing other people is like going to elementary school for me!" Ahri exclaims loudly.
As Seokjin notices Ahri growing weaker, he sighs and slowly lets go. As soon as he unwraps his arms around her, the female rapper stands up and is ready to attack the other two boys again.
She runs as fast as an athlete, yet before she could go any further, Jeongguk wraps his arms around her and lets both of them plop down on the ground.
"Let go of me, boy!" she barks, wriggling. Jeongguk is starting to lose their match, so he desperately searches for help. "Taehyung-ssi, care to give a hand?"
"Nope, they didn't want me in Cypher as well," Taehyung states resentfully, smirking while moving his eyes to the older members. "It's what they deserve."
"Honey, you've got a big storm coming!" Jimin supports the younger members, pointing at the older ones with a wide smile.
Namjoon runs away and exits the rooftop, Yoongi jogging from behind him; his arms lazily flopping up and down by his sides.
As soon as they're outside, Ahri quickly sighs to herself and leans back onto the other maknae's body. "Man, this was stressful," she mumbles to herself.
"Are you that mad at them, though?" Hoseok asks carefully since he's not trying to risk to get attacked by Ahri, too. "Weren't you a bit overreacting?"
Ahri chuckles dryly at his question and answers, "Obviously!" Shrugging her shoulders, she mumbles with a smirk, "I just like drama."
"And to scare people," Jimin adds, fist-bumping her.
"No, but really, I would've loved to be in that Cypher-Series." A swift sigh leaves the crook of her neck, as she plays with her fingers to distract herself. "It could've been a release from all those haters; to show them that they don't have any power over me anymore."
"I'll talk to them," Seokjin promises with a soft smile. Yona tilts her head up, sudden hope welling up in her chest. "Really? Thank you!"
After many minutes of a comfortable silence pass by, there's a small voice coming from behind them. Yoongi slowly pokes his head through the door. "Is she normal again?"
"When was she ever normal..." the eldest whispers to himself. Yet he nods his head as he looks up. "Yeah, she is. Come back now."
Relieved sighs escape Namjoon and Yoongi. They slowly sit back down, gazing at the calmed down Ahri with big eyes. "We're sorry..." Namjoon whispers, looking down in shame. "We shouldn't have judged you because of your gender. But we said that when you came new to our group, so we didn't know you at all."
"It's fine..." Ahri mumbles while playing with the hem of her sweatshirt. "Let's talk about that another time, though."
The groups focus their gazes back up. The night sky is such a welcome sight for them, appearing like magic in each night, promising to return as it fades in dawn's first light.
"You know what I've always been wondering..." Yoongi opens his mouth, breaking the silence by each one of his words.
The group look up and into his direction. Yoongi sits up and prompts himself onto one of his arms. "How did Taehyung not notice that it's the Ahri he knew from back then?"
"Honestly, I can't figure that out myself," agrees Namjoon. The other ones nod along, as all stares are casted on Taehyung by now. Yona herself looks up and into his direction. "I don't understand it, too," she mumbles.
Taehyung sighs to himself. His slender fingers are resting peacefully on his chest, as he's laid down on the ground, looking up at the sugar-coated sky. "I thought it was the other Ahri from Daegu—"
"Oh, shut up," Yona cuts him off, her voice as sharp as a knife. She rolls her eyes instinctively, scoffing loudly.
Slowly, Taehyung's eyes cast onto Ahri's annoyed self, and he smirks to himself lightly, a mischievous glint sparkling in his mesmerizing eyes.
The other members are confused by now; their eyebrows furrowed. "Wait, what?" Jeongguk asks in curiosity, positioning both of his arms onto the ground to gift them his undivided attention.
He chuckles lightly, before continuing, "There used to be another girl named Kim Ahri, and she was a friend of mine."
"Yeah, a friend," she repeats and mocks him quietly.
"And Ahri was jealous of her." Taehyung mischievously smiles up at his female member.
"Wait, which Ahri, though?" Hoseok asks around. "I'm so confused right now."
"Look, it wasn't even like that," Yona declares, but gets cut off by Yoongi almost immediately, "Shut the fuck up, Ahri. I need to listen to know something embarrassing about you."
She silences right away, sighing and leaning back down; ready for the embarrassment and agony to clash through her body like a box of ice-cold water.
"Continue, Tae. I'm curious now, too," Jimin whispers, whilst placing his face on his palms.
Taehyung chuckles evilly, as he keeps his eyes on Yona. "If you guys insist..."
"So, this new girl, Kim Ahri, moved into our neighborhood and starting going to the same school as us," he begins, telling the story in the most suspense way possible.
"And as Yona continued on giving me the cold-shoulder and acting 'cool' around me, I got closer friends with Kim Ahri—"
"Closer friends," mocks Yona again, scrunching her face up while doing that. Yet before she could continue, Jeongguk firmly lays his hand on top of her mouth, silencing her once and for all.
"And, boy, Yona did not like that at all." Another chuckle escapes from the crook of Taehyung's neck. "But it got even worse when Kim Ahri confessed to me."
The group gasps, motioning for him to finish quickly so that they won't die out of curiosity. "And I could never bear to decline confessions or things like that, so I accepted and after that, me and Kim Ahri were in a 'relationship'."
"And as little Yona noticed that she wasn't the center of my attention anymore..." Taehyung gazes at her, smirking. "She did something and Kim Ahri was never seen again."
"What!" Hoseok asks, wondering what she's done. Yoongi questions, "What the fuck did you do, Ahri? You didn't murder her, right? Please don't tell me that you killed her—"
"Chill, dude. I didn't kill her." Ahri rolls her eyes in annoyance. The boys sign in relief at her response.
"...but what did you do, Yona?" Taehyung questions further in a sarcastic way, simply to let the female member say it herself.
Yona pauses. She looks in between every member with widely opened eyes, and back down with red-tinted cheeks. Slowly, she mumbles in embarrassment, "I threw all of my toys at her head and was about to run over her with my bobby-car..."
The boys can barely breathe for laughing. Some of them slap their thighs involuntary, and others have fat tears rolling down their cheeks. In these moments of laughter, the temperature on the rooftop raises a couple of degrees, and Ahri can't help but stifle a grin.
In between waves of laughter, Hoseok asks, "H-How?"
"I, um." Yona scratches the back of her head. "She was about to kiss Taehyung, but then I pushed her away from him, said a few inconvenient words, and you know the rest..."
Taehyung smiles to himself, as he watches her. He finishes, "Moral of the story: Kim Ahri Yona is the most jealous and possessive person I know."
"So not true!" She highly disagrees. "I am not the jealous type."
"Um, yeah, no," Jeongguk speaks up, causing Ahri to turn around with squinted eyes. "In school, a few girls wanted to have my number, but Ahri got mad and said that I'm not interested."
"Did I lie, though? Did I lie?" Pointing at herself, she raises her eyebrows questionably. Ahri states in a high-and-mighty tone, "I saved you from them. Be thankful, you ungrateful snitch."
Jeongguk giggles lightly. He wraps his arms tighter around her, her back being squished by his chest by now. "Thank you, my hero."

All of the group members are huddled up in their small practice room, sitting down at a tiny circle; all of them burning holes at the phone with ajar lips.
"You need to update the site!" Ahri stresses, reaching over to take the phone of her member's hand.
But Namjoon is quick to jerk away. "I already did that 23 times!" he counters swiftly, updating the website again, though.
"Maybe they still need to listen to it..." Taehyung trails off, whilst he nibbles on his bottom lip because of his nervousness. "I mean, we just published it."
"You're probably right." A stressed-out exhale escapes Jimin, as he leans his body against the wall.
Exhausted sighs leave their bodies of the over-worked group. They don't talk for a while; simply being occupied with their train of thoughts.
Suddenly, a notification catches them off-guard, causing some of them to literally fall onto the phone. "Quick, look, Namjoon!" demands Seokjin.
The leader obeys his member's order, updating the website to observe the comments.
Their gazes are buried on the device by now, eyes stretched immensely. They slowly look through the comments, as Namjoon scrolls through the website.
After a firm gulp, Yoongi reads out loud, "There are so many Idols these days. They'll be forgotten, too. They aren't anything special."
"Those rappers should head back to the underground," Ahri continues in a small voice. "Naming themselves Idols is simply comical."
"Just enlist in the Army..." continues Seokjin. "And leave the poor girl out of that. Who knows what happens in between her and those seven men. I bet her body wasn't 'bulletproof' for them."
And then, they just sit there, dominated by a profound sadness, fatigue engraved on their worn faces.
No longer can they see that inquisitiveness, that desire, that fire in their eyes. All that remains is the deceiving hollow souls that reflect in the tear-stained glass, the marks leaving no room to see their true selves anymore. They'll be forgotten, too. They aren't anything special.
"L-Let's not think of those comments, guys." Namjoon desperately tries to cheer them up, as he glances in between every single one of those tired faces; simply not being able to handle their grief. "I mean, who cares about what they think, right? We'll continue doing our own thing!"
"But why should we do that if there's no Happy-Ending in the end?" remarks Ahri. Slowly, she lets her head plop against Jimin's shoulder, whose expression is as miserable as her. "All we do is work hard, but receive no type of happiness in the end."
Decisively shaking his head, Namjoon continuously throws encouraging words at them, speaking from the depth of his soul, "We are our own happiness."
"Who needs their opinions anyway? We don't depend our strength, our style, and our dream on them!" He questions further, "Jeongguk, why did you want to become an Idol?"
The maknae is startled by that sudden question. He gulps, as he answers insecurely, "Because I wanted to become a singer."
"Right! Jimin, why did you want to become an Idol?" questions Namjoon again, a small smile on his face.
Jimin thinks for a while, before replying with a shrug, "I guess I just wanted to touch people by my music or my voice. Singing and dancing is my passion."
"Yoongi hyung, why did you want to become an Idol?" asks the leader again, pointing at him.
Yoongi clears up in a deadpanned tone, "I did not. I wanted to become a producer, but those bitch-asses fooled me."
Namjoon pauses for a few moments. He sighs, completely ignoring him, and continues, "See? We did not become Idols to listen to what other people think of us. Our concept itself is about pursuing our dream! So let's stop being sad, and start out being glad that we've come this far!"
"I mean, we did almost not debut, but, somehow, got a chance to be here," Hoseok mumbles, slight hope building in his chest by the leader's wise words. "Maybe we should be glad for that, yeah."
Hope is a bright star in a hopelessly dark universe. Through light-years of distance, the brightness fills their inner selves, only because of Namjoon's powerful choice of words.
"You're right..." mumbles Taehyung. A light smile builds upon his face, curling up, as he gazes at his members in mesmerization.
Hope makes people smile on the inside as well as on the outside. Hope is not just an emotion, it is a promise that smiling and laughter are just around the corner.
"I really like the concept of this group! It's something different than the other Idols, and gives young people hope as well," Namjoon reads the comment out loud, a grin on his face, as the members focus their attention on him. "My favorite songs are Let Me Know, Cypher PT. 3 (even though I don't understand why Yves isn't with them, she would've rocked that), and Does That Make Sense? Fighting, Bangtan Sonyeondan!"
The smile that spreads over Yona's lips is one of happiness growing, much as Wings open. She could feel the light coming from deep inside her chest, and blossoming as much as a spring flower does.
"I'm glad..." Yona softly whispers to herself, the slight blush accompanying her face as she looks down. People smile with more than their mouth, and hers can be heard in her voice, the tone, and the way she relaxes.
Hold tight to dreams,
because if dreams die
life becomes a broken-winged bird,
that cannot fly

"I'm happy to announce that your first album has been released a few hours ago," Si-Hyuk exclaims with a proud smile on his lips. "And I wish you guys all the success after all of your efforts."
He clasps his hands in front of his proud figure, the smile staying engraved on him. "But I have to declare a few changes for the future. Or at least, for a few months."
"First of all, you guys have to practice in another Entertainment for a while, because of a few problems with our economic issues." Their manager is a bit hesitant to say, "But I'm afraid to tell that Ahri will practice in a different Entertainment than you boys."
Frowns build upon their foreheads, confused. "Why?" all of them ask at the same time, staring at the CEO.
Si-Hyuk pauses for a bit, trying to come up with the right choice of words to not let Ahri's never-ending fire erupt.
After a while, he answers, "The other Entertainments are not... let's say immersed with the concept of a female in a group. Or even girls and boys mixed in a group."
"So they said that they would only accept my offer if Ahri is divided from you guys." His lips curl down a bit, bobbing his head to the side, as he slowly looks at Ahri, who's deep in thought. "I apologize, Ahri, but there was no other way."
"It's okay..." she mumbles lifelessly, a small pout on her face whilst she plays with the hem of her sweatshirt. "At least the boys can practice in another company and have new friends."
The CEO's eyes stretch slightly, his lips parting. "Um... another thing. It's especially important for you to know, Ahri." His mouth forms into a thin line, as he notices the girl's dumbfounded face. "You are not allowed, and I cannot stress this enough, you must not talk to any males of any groups, at any given time. Understood?"
A quick yet tired sigh leaves her mouth. "Yeah, yeah, I understand, Boss." She kind of waves him off with her hand, having had enough of his speeches.
"I'm serious, Ahri. It's a taboo in this business. If I just sense or hear you even looking at somebody from the other Entertainment of the other sex, I will not hesitate to cut off all of your rapping parts in the new songs and to let you dance in the back row with very little focus on yourself. Did I make myself clear?"
"Yes, Sir," Ahri replies. A smirk is painting her lips, as she salutes confidently.
Yoongi asks out of curiosity, "By the way, in which company will we practice?"
"You may know these companies," responds Si-Hyuk with a curt nod. "The boys will practice in JYP Entertainment, while Ahri will practice in SM Entertainment."
"This will be fun..." whispers Jimin.
━━✦ :・゚✧ *:・゚✧ *:・゚✧
"This is no fun!" Ahri yells to herself in the lonely practice room.
A big pout is on her face, as she lets herself plop on the hard floor, wincing right after because of the pain.
Without thinking about it twice, she swiftly fishes her device from her bag and dials her members. After waiting for a short time, Hoseok screams in excitement, "Hey, Yona!"
Unbeknownst to her, a small smile curls up on her lips at the sound of their joyful exclaims and happiness-filled faces.
"What's up?" asks Jimin, as he nears himself to the camera, snatching Hoseok's smartphone with a smirk right after, resulting in an offended 'Hey!' to blurt out of the rapper.
Ahri replies with a shrug, "Nothing much. I'm hanging with my good friends." She moves the device to her side, showing her friends with a hand. "Let me introduce you, Dust, Boredom, and my favorite friend, Loneliness."
Their lips turn downward, as they notice her negative choice of words and her saddened tone itself. "Are there no other girls that you can meet?" Namjoon asks.
"I don't know! These bitch-asses locked me here," she shouts in irritation. As she notices the fiery glare from the other side, Yona bows her head and mumbles, "I take it back, Seokjin hyung."
Clearing her throat, she re-starts her sentence, saying, "These nice people, who seem kind of, but only a little tiny bit, unfriendly, brought me here."
"Well, then go out and meet some people, you anti-social fool," Yoongi remarks, rolling his eyes.
"Wow! What an innovative idea from the one and only Genius Jjang Jjang Man Boong Boong! I never came to the realization that I could actually do that! Woah, we love an intelligent man!" Ahri exclaims in complete sarcasm.
She yells dramatically, "As I already said, I can't go out here because I will see those creatures called men, and will be bitch-slapped by PD-nim!"
"Well, then die I guess," Yoongi replies nonchalantly. He, later on, exclaims in false enthusiasm, "Bye! Our new friends are calling us!"
"Y-You already found new friends?" Ahri whispers in an awfully saddened and devastated voice. Her eyes are resembling those of a kicked puppy, lips curled downward and creating a pout.
Jeongguk's heart falls, as he notices her miserable voice and face. "I-It's not like that!"
"You know what? If you can find new friends, I can do, too!" And with that, she hangs up.
After a swift sigh, she wipes non-existent sweat from her forehead, mumbling to herself peacefully, "Being dramatic is exhausting."
Nibbling on her bottom lip, she debates of the right choice and the consequences of her leaving the practice room.
Before her over-thinking mind could cause her a headache, Ahri shrugs and mumbles to herself while standing up, "Whatever. I never listened to rules anyway."
With light footsteps, she silently opens the door, peeking her head through to see if anybody is there.
To her own luck, no soul is seen in the hallway or no noise at all. The only sound, or more likely music, is coming from the other rooms, in which all the other female artists are practicing.
Ahri exits the loneliness-filled room and steps out, slowly making her way through the empty hallway. "Damn, they sound nice," whispers Yona, while her ear is glued to the door of the opposite room.
"Oh, my God. Is that SNSD?" She fan-girls, bouncing up and down excitedly. As she listens further, Yona cheers quietly, "You go, Tiffany!"
Abruptly, the music stops. Ahri's eyes are pried open, as she hears a fainted, 'What was that?'
And just like that, the female member runs as fast as she can, before the members could open the door and expose her.
Her breathing is heavy as she stops running. She looks up and notices that she's in a different hallway, but this time, it's filled with human beings. All eyes turn to her loud exhales, their eyes examining her.
After standing up straight and bowing as an apology, Ahri is quick to run out of the embarrassing scene, and into another place, but it's a room this time.
She closes the door behind her. "Seriously, why do the most humiliating things happen to me?" Ahri is panting heavily at this point, her body hunched to catch her breathing.
Somebody in the actually empty room turns around toward her, as they notice the new and unfamiliar voice.
Yona gazes up, and her tongue gets stuck in her throat. She gulps harshly, mouth parting right after.
With the most rapid voice possible, she exclaims in shock, "Oh, my God. A male."
"Oh, my God. A female," he mocks her.
A chuckle escapes him because of her shocked state; as if she's never seen somebody from the male species.
Ahri's frightened self desperately tries to unlock the door without facing it, her widened eyes still keen on him.
"You okay?" he asks slowly and in a quiet tone. His cheeks are suddenly tinted in the color of a blossoming rose, being shy himself.
As soon as he takes a few steps towards her, Ahri panics and holds her arms up in defense. "Don't come near me!"
"Why?" questions the unknown boy with a confused mind.
Her mind halts for a moment, before yelling, "I'm allergic to men!"
Just like that, she rushes outside of the room again.
