MICHONNE AND Y/N walked in the same direction for some time. The woman had also stopped to kill a walker on the way and spilled its guts, telling the young man about using its blood to mask their scent.
That was a damn good idea, Y/N thought.
With their torsos mostly covered with walker guts, they continued through the trees. Y/N had his bow over his chest and his quiver on his back. They kept walking, mimicking the undead's pace once several of them were around.
She didn't think he noticed, but Y/N was worried about her injury. The man started to whisper.
"We should stop. I can try and help you with that."
"We are not." She whispered back. "And no way in hell am I letting you put your hands on me."
They were close to the tree line. A fence across a field caught the man's eye. Michonne and Y/N came out of the woods, finally seeing the entire land ahead...a prison.
There were still many walkers around. They shuffled their feet and slowly walked up toward the gate. Michonne spotted a man gazing through the fence, possibly making rounds on the perimeter.
The woman was the first to get to the fence. Y/N was creeping close behind. Moments later, the man stared at Michonne and realized she was part of the living, even noticing her wound.
A walker beside Michonne had gotten a whiff of her scent and growled. The woman stood quiet as she backed away, still staring at the man behind the fence. A couple of more walkers took notice of her movements and started making their way to her.
Michonne took out her sword and stabbed one through the head. Another walker beside Y/N was about to stumble toward her, but he unsheathed his knife and killed it.
SVAASH!
SULK!
They started taking on the walkers. The man, as well as a boy nearby, noticed Y/N too and assumed he was with the woman.
"Should we help them?" The boy asked.
The man didn't answer but still made his way toward the prison's gate. Michonne dropped her bag and the basket, backing away from the incoming walkers.
SVAASH!
SULK!
She decapitated a walker and then stabbed another. Y/N was a couple of yards away fending off some more. Suddenly, he saw the woman fall on her back.
"Oh, shit!" He cursed before rushing over to her.
Y/N figured her injury and exhaustion made her lose consciousness. He knelt over her and did a quick check before standing up and fending off incoming walkers.
SULK!
SULK!
SLASH!
Y/N was preoccupied with walkers in front of him that he didn't notice one about to get to Michonne. Fortunately, it was shot down.
POW!
The boy had killed it from behind the fence. The man made it to the gate and called out to him.
"Carl!"
He tossed his father the key and immediately opened the gate. He walked out and looked ahead at the vast amount of the undead.
"Shit!" He exclaimed, before pulling out his revolver and shooting.
POW! POW!
POW! POW!
His son joined him and shot a walker that was behind Y/N.
POW!
Y/N gave a nod to the boy and rushed over to the downed Michonne. The man with the revolver was already standing over her when Y/N neared.
"You stand back!" He shouted after the young man got close.
Y/N put his hands up. The boy, who had just gotten the orange basket, ran up to his father.
"Dad!"
He glanced at him and understood the boy didn't like how he suddenly threatened Y/N. The man put away his gun and knelt beside Michonne.
"Is she bit?" An old man in crutches asked from the gate.
Y/N decided to answer. "No! She got shot."
She was checked by the man as he was still skeptical. He saw the wound and corroborated what Y/N said.
"He's right. Side of her right thigh."
The man immediately started picking Michonne's limp body up. Y/N helped as well despite no request by the man. They all went through the gates and into the prison.
On their way to the cell block, Michonne had regained some of her strength but still needed help walking. They entered the area and walked down the steps.
"Carl, get a blanket." The man started to say. "Beth, water and a towel."
They laid Michonne on the floor. Y/N stood beside them but the man was still wary of him.
"You get over there." He pointed across the room. "You move a single inch and I'll put a bullet between your eyes."
Y/N understood this was his abode and wanted to respect it. He obliged and went toward the other wall, watching them as they tended to Michonne.
"We ain't letting them in the cell blocks." He told his group.
The blonde girl named Beth handed the leader a water bottle. He let some drop on her face and neck to cool her off. Michonne stirred awake and heavily panted.
"It's all right. It's all right." The man reassured. "Hey, hey, look at me. Look at me."
Michonne fully opened her eyes and looked up at the man. He continued.
"Who are you?"
The woman turned her head and saw her sword on the floor. She tried to reach for it, but the man kicked it away and held her down.
"No. We're not going to hurt you unless you try something stupid first, all right?"
Suddenly, a man in the cell block called out to the leader.
"Rick."
The redneck walked into the room and questioned what was unfolding. He eyed Y/N on the side as well as Michonne.
"Who the hell are they?" He asked.
Rick looked at the woman. "Want to tell us your name?"
Michonne didn't respond. Daryl couldn't care less about what was happening and spoke to his group.
"Y'all come on in here."
Rick stood up. "Everything all right?"
"You're gonna wanna see this."
He nodded and looked at his group, gesturing them to go into the cell block with the redneck.
"Go ahead. Carl, get the bag."
The old man, the girl, and the boy all went into the cell block. Rick and his friend stayed in the room and looked at both Michonne and Y/N. The leader noticed the young man's bow and knife and motioned the other man to take them.
"Daryl."
He knew what he was asking for and did as told. Daryl went up to Y/N.
"Turn around." He demanded.
Y/N exhaled as he raised his hands and did so. Daryl removed his bow and quiver as well as took the knife from his sheath. He stepped back and joined Rick.
"We'll keep your things safe and sound. The doors are all locked. Y'all will be safe here." Rick explained then pointed at Michonne's thigh. "And we can treat that."
Michonne finally spoke. "I didn't ask for your help."
"Doesn't matter." Rick shot back calmly and walked away with Daryl. "Can't let you leave."
They entered the cell block and Daryl closed the door, locking them in the room they were in before. Y/N walked over to one of the tables, sat down, and took a breath.
Some time passed before Rick and his group walked back into the room they were in. Y/N stood up while Michonne sat at a table.
"We can tend to that for you, give you both a little food and water and then send you on your way." Rick told them. "But you're gonna have to tell us how you found us and why you were carrying formula."
"Supplies were dropped by a young Asian guy with a pretty girl." She replied, which caught the attention of the old man.
"What happened?" Rick asked.
"Were they attacked?" The old man asked as well.
"They were taken." She answered.
"Taken? By who?" Rick replied.
"By the same son of bitch who shot me."
"Hey, these are our people." Rick got closer and wanted proper answers. "You tell us what happened now!"
He grabbed her injured thigh and she shot up from her seat.
Michonne shouted at Rick. "Don't you ever touch me again!"
Y/N also didn't like that. He already was angry about Philip assaulting one lady he knew, he didn't want to deal with another. He stepped toward Rick.
"Back the hell off, man."
Daryl reacted and aimed his crossbow at the young man's face.
"Relax, pretty boy. Or else your girl here is gonna have bigger problems than a gunshot wound."
Even with the weapon aimed at his face, Y/N still wasn't deterred. He already walked away from another redneck's threat weeks ago. The man stared at Daryl.
"Fuck you."
Michonne looked at them. "Find them yourself."
A part of Y/N was okay with not getting their help now. He was prepared to go with his previous plan of getting to Woodbury himself. And now with Michonne by his side, they could still kill Philip.
Rick ushered Daryl to lower the crossbow. He eyed both Y/N and Michonne. There was silence for a moment before he spoke up.
"You two came here for a reason."
Michonne glanced at Y/N, who was staying quiet and waiting for the decision on what she wanted to do. She looked back at Rick.
"There's a town. Woodbury. About 75 survivors. I think they were taken there."
"A whole town?" Rick asked.
Y/N chimed in. "It's run by this man who calls himself the Governor."
"Pretty boy, charming, Jim Jones type." Michonne added.
"He got muscle?" Daryl questioned.
"Folks with guns living their paramilitary dreams." Y/N answered. "They have armed sentries on every wall."
"You know a way in?" Rick asked.
"The place is secure from walkers, but we could slip our way through." Michonne replied.
Rick looked back at Daryl before turning to the two again.
"How'd you know how to get here?"
"They mentioned a prison, said which direction it was in, that it was a straight shot."
Rick nodded, taking in her explanation.
"This is Hershel, the father of the girl who was taken." Rick introduced the old man. "He'll take care of your wound."
The leader walked away with Daryl, leaving the old man there with the strangers. Carl, Rick's son, stepped into the room and stood by the doorway.
Y/N looked at the old man as he started to get supplies to tend to Michonne. Out of respect to the elder, the young man introduced himself.
"Thank you for doing this. I'm Y/N."
Hershel nodded and grinned. "It's my pleasure, Y/N."
He sat beside a laid-down Michonne and started to get to work. Y/N crossed his arms and looked on.
"Your daughter...I'll make sure she gets back. My friends are in that town too...with my pregnant girlfriend."
Hershel glanced at him before going back to tending to Michonne's injury.
"You were there before?" He asked.
"Regretfully. I'm going to try to get them out of there too."
Hershel nodded. "I wish you good luck, son."

RICK'S GROUP PREPPED themselves for an invasion of Woodbury. They had tear gas, flashbangs, and rifles thanks to the prison armory.
Y/N and Michonne stood around as they loaded things into a car. As they did, Y/N noticed a short-haired woman holding a baby. He immediately thought of his unborn child, fueling him with determination even more.
They drove out of the prison and made it to a main road. It was quite a drive there and it was mostly filled with silence.
Y/N sat near a black man who they called Oscar. He noticed the man eye him a few times before finally speaking up.
"Who are you again?"
Y/N looked at Oscar. "What?"
"Your name."
"Y/N."
Oscar kept looking. "You play for the Yankees?"
Y/N looked ahead at the road. He honestly had forgotten about that past life mainly thanks to his time spent with Liliana.
"Yeah."
"I remember you. World Series last year."
Daryl spoke up. "How you remember if you been locked up the last five years?"
"We had a TV in the mess hall. And a lot of us placed bets with our commissary."
"I hope I earned you some winnings." Y/N said.
"Nah, you fuckin' cost me. I should honestly throw you out of this car right now."
"Don't bet against the best."
Michonne informed Rick to stop the car on the side of the road. He did so and they all started to get out.
"Why we stopping?" Rick asked.
"They have patrols. We're better off on foot." Y/N answered.
"How far? Night's comin."
"It's a mile, maybe two." Michonne replied.
They opened the trunk and got their stuff. Y/N ended up retrieving his bow and arrow as well as his knife. Rick and company still didn't fully trust Michonne and Y/N, so they didn't lend them a gun.
They walked through the woods. Suddenly, the sound of growling caught their attention. Daryl shushed the group and pointed ahead.
Rick spotted a few walkers and told them to get down. Several more of the undead came out of the trees and noticed the group.
"Get in formation. No gunfire."
The leader engaged a walker and split its head with a machete. Daryl aimed his crossbow and took one down too.
SULK!
THWICK!
Oscar attacked a walker with this melee weapon. Y/N saw two nearing the convict and decided to use his knife on them.
CRACK! CRACK!
SULK!
SULK!
Michonne stood back and watched the prison dwellers attack the undead...as if seeing how well they dealt with them. Y/N dispatched another walker and looked at the rest.
"There's too many of them." Y/N informed the group.
They were close to getting surrounded. Daryl unsheathed his bowie knife and eyed the walkers. Y/N ended up back-to-back with the redneck.
"Hit their legs and stun them. Stab em' once you bring them to the floor."
Daryl scoffed. "I ain't taking advice from a sumbitch on a baseball card."
He stabbed one that went near him. Y/N did what he instructed, kicking a walker's knee in and stabbing it in the head once it fell.
SULK!
Rick found an opening and pointed ahead. "This way!"
They all ran and spotted a shack. Rick instructed them to go inside. Once they did, walkers started pounding at the door.
"God...what's that smell?" Y/N asked as he covered his nose.
The quintet walked deeper into the abode. Oscar saw the corpse of an animal ahead.
"What the hell is that?" He asked.
"It's got to be a fox or what's left of one." Daryl replied and shone the flashlight on it. He realized it was a dead dog.
"I guess Lassie went home." He added.
The walkers continued pounding on the doors and walls of the building. Y/N wondered how they were going to get out of there. All that was on his mind were his friends and Liliana.
Rick pointed his flashlight at the bed and whistled at Daryl. They saw that a blanket was over something and the former officer believed it was another body.
He slowly reached for the covering and pulled it back quickly. Suddenly, a sleeping man shot awake and stood up.
"Who the hell are you?" He exclaimed, immediately picking up the shotgun at his side.
They all stepped back. Daryl held up his knife while Rick raised his hands. Y/N was by the wall, slowly going to his bow.
Rick attempted to calm him down. "Easy!"
"Get outta my house!"
"Okay, okay, okay. We will, but we can't right now."
"Now!"
Michonne harshly whispered to the men. "Shut him up."
"Get out right now!"
"There are walkers outside." Rick shot back.
The man seemed to not understand what he meant. He darted his eyes at each one of them before shouting again.
"I'll call the cops!"
"I am a cop. Now I need you to lower the gun." Rick said and slowly put down his knife. "Everything's fine. Let's justโlet's take this nice and slow, okay?"
The man cocked his double-barrel shotgun and aimed it at Rick's face.
"Show me your badge!"
"It's in my pocket. It's in my pocket. I'm just gonna reach down nice and slow."
Rick did as he said, but once the man looked down he grabbed the barrel of the gun and pushed it away.
BLAM!
He fired and narrowly missed Daryl, blasting a hole in the wall. Rick disarmed the man and put him in a chokehold.
"Let go! Let go of me! I'll kill you! I'llโ"
Michonne looked back at the door, still seeing the walkers pounding on it. Y/N glanced at it too and believed it'd be a matter of time before they burst through.
"Shut up!" Rick exclaimed. "Shuโ"
The man bit Rick's thumb and got out of his hold. He made a b-line toward the door and was oblivious to the horror outside.
"Help! They found me! Help me!"
"Don't open that door!" Rick yelled.
He was at the door and about to turn the knob. "Helโ"
THWICK!
An arrow entered his back and protruded through his chest. The man stood still a moment before dropping dead.
They all looked to their left, seeing Y/N with his bow drawn. He lowered it and stared ahead, taking in a slow breath.
That was the first time Y/N had ever killed someone. He had shed blood before...but blood from the undead. This was fresh blood. He believed that his first living kill would be the Governor, but no...it was a hermit in the woods.
But it was something he had to do. He was about to open the door and put them in danger. He couldn't die now. He needed to get back to Woodbury and free his loved ones...even if it meant taking the scared man's life.
Daryl walked over to the door and looked through the silvers of the boards. He saw the vast amount of walkers and then glanced at the hermit's body.
"Remember the Alamo?" He asked Rick.
He knew what Daryl wanted to do. He motioned at Michonne.
"Help me with the door."
Daryl and Rick bent down and started carrying the body while Michonne was ready to open the door. It had barely clicked to Oscar what they were going to do.
"You've gotta be kidding."
"He's dead. You two check the back." Rick told Oscar and Y/N.
They did as told. Oscar opened the door and Y/N peeked out, seeing no sign of walkers.
"It's clear." He called out.
Rick counted to three before Michonne opened the door. He and Daryl threw the hermit's body at the horde before shutting it right back.
"Let's go!" Rick exclaimed and ran to the back door.
They all followed and left the shack. A lake was in front of them so they diverted left and went back toward the path they were on. None of the walkers noticed them as they were busy feasting on the hermit's corpse.

DUSK HAD CAME upon them. The men followed Michonne passed an abandoned train car and took cover behind a broken down vehicle.
Ahead was the gates of Woodbury. A guard was on a platform using a floodlight to look over the area. The group stayed hidden.
They deliberated their next move. Michonne stared ahead in thought before slipping away. Rick noticed and quietly called out.
"Hey...hey! Damn it!"
"Where your girlfriend going?" Daryl asked Y/N.
"She's not my girlfriend, jackass." Y/N shot back. "I don't know. Maybe to find a way in."
"We need to downsize." Rick told them and put down his rifle.
"Ain't no way we gonna check all them buildings." Daryl said. "Not with those guards there."
Oscar looked at Y/N. "You said you stayed here before? Know the layout?"
"A bit. But there ain't any cells I know of, so I don't know where they'd keep your friends."
"This Governor got home?" Rick asked "Maybe they're there."
"Once we get in I can tell you where. After that I'm splitting off and finding my friends."
"I could give a rat's ass what you do." Daryl remarked.
"Bite me, man."
Suddenly, the snap of a twig caught their attention. They turned around and saw that Michonne returned.
"This way." The woman mouthed, having found a way in.
Y/N looked at the men. "Told ya."
Rick turned to Daryl and Oscar, letting out a breath.
"Let's go."
They had snuck inside Woodbury and entered one of the buildings that served as a processing center. They slowly crept through the dark room.
"They questioned you here, right?" Y/N asked Michonne.
"Yeah."
"This is a processing center. Philip likes to get to know who he brings in. Now I realize it's how he figures out how to exploit you."
Daryl peeked through a curtain and surveyed the outside. He saw citizens walking around the main street.
"I thought you said there was a curfew." He said.
"They're just stragglers. It's way more packed in the day." Y/N replied.
"If anyone comes in here, we're sitting ducks. We gotta move." Rick said, then glanced at Y/N. "You said they might be in his apartment?"
"Could be."
"And what if they ain't?" Daryl shot back.
"You can always look somewhere else." Michonne shot back.
"Not much help coming from you two." Rick said in an annoyed tone.
"I said I'd show you where his apartment is." Y/N said. "We just gotta wait for the right time to leave this damn building."
Suddenly, the doorknob jiggled. They all hid quickly as a man came into the room.
"I know you're in here!" He called out. "I saw you through the window. You're not supposed to be here at this time."
He walked through the dark room. Rick immediately popped out and pinned the man to the wall, holding him at gunpoint.
"Where are our people?"
The man didn't know how to reply. He was forced to his knees and Rick stayed close to his face.
"You have our people! Where are they?"
"I don't know! I don't know!"
Y/N spoke to Rick from the side. "He's just a worker here. He ain't part of Philip's inner circle."
The man realized it was Y/N and was flabbergasted.
"Mr. L/N. Youโyou're alive! The Governor said you went missing."
Rick didn't let him speak anymore. He was given a rag by Daryl and it was stuffed into his mouth. The redneck immediately knocked him unconscious and dragged his body to the side.
"That wasn't necessary." Y/N said.
"Boo-hoo." Daryl mocked.
The group inside started to hear a commotion outside. There were gunshots and yells coming from people. Through the window, they saw citizens running down the street.
Rick peeked through the door and made sure there wasn't anyone around. He motioned to the group once it was clear and they exited the building.
They decided to follow the sound of gunfire, which lead them to a warehouse. Y/N remembered the area as it was where Woodbury had their pit fights. They entered the building and held their weapons.
The quintet took cover behind a wall and ducked once they saw men cross a window. Daryl and Rick took out a smoke grenade and tossed it into the next room.
BOOM!
The initial explosion disoriented the men. Smoke filled the room and allowed Rick, Daryl, Oscar, Michonne, and Y/N to storm in. Through the haze, Rick spotted his friends, Glenn and Maggie, and pulled them out.
They all ran out of the warehouse as a couple of soldiers regained their senses and shot at them.
On the street, Philip was speaking to one of his men. He saw his partner, Andrea, walking up to him.
"Shots came from up there." The blonde woman informed. "I'm gonna check it out."
"No, I'll handle it." Philip said and pulled her back. "Sometimes biters get in through the side fence. There's no need for anyone to panic."
Suddenly, a woman called out. "Someone help!"
Philip looked to his right and saw her tending to an injured man in front of the processing center. He and Andrea ran to them.
"What happened?" He asked.
The man spoke. "Guys came through with guns."
"How many?"
"Not sure."
Philip knelt beside him. "Well, think."
"Six or seven guys I've never seen before. But...but Y/N was with them."
Hearing that name seemed to trigger Philip. He hadn't thought of that man for a while now. In his mind he was dead...that was what Merle told him.
"Who's Y/N?" Andrea asked.
Philip exhaled. "Someone I but heads with once. Went missing a while ago. Might've come back with a grudge."
The citizens behind them clamored and were in a panic.
"Are we under attack?"
"What should we do?"
"Hey, hey, hey." Philip stood up and started to reassure them. "Everyone, please just go home, lock your doors, huh? We need to keep everyone safe, okay? So just get inside, keep your lights off. Come on."
Some people murmured and the crowd left. Philip along with Andrea walked up to his soldiers and spoke to them. Unbeknownst to the Governor, Ramon was in the crowd and overheard the man mention Y/N's name.
He realized Y/N could still be alive and was now possibly back. The man rushed back to his apartment to inform his friends.
The group rushed back to the main street and planned to get to the exit. They had to quickly hide in a building, but Y/N wasn't going to go inside with them and wanted to find the Governor.
Michonne had the same idea, following the young man outside and closing the door. Y/N looked back at her.
"Whatโ?"
"You gonna watch my back when I go after the Governor?"
She walked forward. Y/N chuckled and shook his head.
"More like you'll watch mine."
They ran down the street, the two knowing where Philip's apartment was. Thankfully, there weren't any soldiers around yet.
"You mentioned your friends." Michonne began. "Why don't you go get them while I go after him?"
"No. I'm going to make sure that man is dead."
Michonne understood his mission since it mirrored hers. Still, she believed splitting up would be ideal.
"I just thinkโ"
GRATATA!
A gunshot rang out that startled them. Ahead were three Woodbury soldiers and they fired at Michonne and Y/N. The man took cover behind one of the cars while the swordswoman ran into a nearby alley.
Y/N waited for one of them to reload before popping out and drawing his bow.
THWICK!
An arrow hit the gunman in the chest and allowed Y/N to sprint across the street.
The other two soldiers were still behind cover and didn't see Y/N leave. They were still focused on Michonne, who was still taking cover behind the alleyway.
Y/N had already left the area and Michonne figured the young man was already on his way to confront Philip. And she allowed him to, choosing to leave the scene and fleeing from the gunmen.
The door creaked open. Y/N slowly walked into the dimly lit room, his knife in hand and ready to strike.
Y/N looked around the Governor's room. The same space he fought him the week before. The same place he had forcefully taken advantage of his girlfriend. The thought of it made him grip his weapon harder.
Y/N took the bow off his torso and placed it on the table. He still held his knife as he pulled up a chair and sat, facing the doorway and awaiting the man's arrival.
He could've had his bow drawn. An arrow through the man's chest would do the trick. But he didn't want to finish him off from a distance. No...he wanted to do it up close and personal.
Y/N waited there for some time, simply staring ahead at the door. Suddenly, he heard thudding in the room to his right. The man raised a brow.
There was a louder thump that made him get out of his chair. He held his knife and rushed toward the door, a part of him assuming Philip was always in there. He kicked it open and entered the room.
What he saw shocked him. Several fish tanks were stacked on top of each other...not containing sea creatures...but severed heads. There was also a chair in front of them, likely where Philip sat to stare at the aquariums.
"Fucking psycho." Y/N muttered.
Y/N heard the thudding again and turned to the wall, seeing a grate covering a large opening. He also heard groaning and heavy breathing.
The man opened it and stepped back, holding his knife. A small figure came out of the shadows...and Y/N's eyes instantly widened.
It was a little girl. Her arms were tied and there was a sack over her head. Her groans sounded like they were filled with pain...and it hurt Y/N.
"Oh, my God." He sheathed his knife and knelt. "It'sโIt's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you."
The girl walked out and stopped in front of Y/N. He held the sides of her shoulders reassuringly. He even detached her from the chain that stuck to the wall.
"He's not going to hurt you anymore." He said softly.
Y/N removed the sack from her head. But upon doing so, he saw her pale and rotting face. The zombified girl growled and caused Y/N to step back in shock.
He unsheathed his knife and was prepared to put her down. Suddenly, he heard a shout.
"No!"
Y/N looked toward the door and saw Philip Blake with his gun drawn. He immediately held the girl and out in front of him, still holding the knife near her head.
"Don't hurt her." Philip pleaded.
Y/N didn't reply, simply staring at the man. The Governor raised his hands.
"Look. Hey."
He holstered his weapon and quickly undid his holster, letting it fall to the floor.
"It's me you want. I know." Philip said and slowly walked forward. "There's no need for her to suffer."
The thirty seconds that passed by were enough to make him realize that the undead girl was likely his daughter. He still held on to her despite Penny being long gone.
"She doesn't have needs." Y/N bluntly said.
He slowly reached out. "Don't hurt my little girl. Please don't."
Y/N eyed Philip. The man was trembling and his face was full of panic. He really cared for his daughter. He didn't want to lose her again.
But all the young man saw was a pathetic man holding on to what he lost. In front of him wasn't the cunning, charming, and hardheaded leader...it was a coward pleading for the guy who he tried to kill to show mercy.
He wasn't going to give him that.
"Don't worry." Y/N spoke. "You'll join her soon."
SULK!
The young man stabbed the undead girl through the side of the head with the knife, putting her down for good.
"No!" Philip cried out.
Once her body fell to the floor, the Governor charged at Y/N and grabbed him. He pinned him to the wall and punched him across the face. Y/N kneed him in the stomach and pushed him, the two tipping over the sofa and rolling on the floor.
Philip got on top of Y/N and tried to choke him. He bellowed as he tightened his grip, but Y/N freed his hand and socked him in the face. He pushed Philip off of him and he followed with a kick to the head.
The Governor groaned as he laid on his stomach. Y/N immediately got behind him and put him in a chokehold.
"I said I'd fucking kill you. I said it! I told you!"
Philip yelled and forced themselves back into the wall, hitting Y/N against it. Philip broke free for a moment but Y/N punched him in the stomach. Philip countered by quickly grabbing Y/N's head and slamming it twice against the wall.
Before he can get hit again, Y/N bit the fingers that Philip had by his mouth. Philip yelled out in pain but ended up throwing Y/N against one of the fish tanks.
His face crashed through the glass and the water spilled out. Philip held his face inside and tried to have one of the walkers' heads bite him. Y/N ended up grabbing onto two other fish tanks on top and pulled them back. They hit the floor, glass shattering and water spilling everywhere. This caused the two to slip.
Y/N had gotten up and retrieved his knife. But, Philip did as well, quickly tackling him into the living room. The momentum sent them to a wall where Y/N crashed onto a large picture frame, the impact also causing him to drop the knife.
Philip landed two blows to his stomach. He added a knee as well before grabbing his head and slamming it against the wall. As Y/N was disoriented, the Governor got a hold of him and threw him to the floor.
Y/N groaned as he crawled across the glass and tried to reach for his knife. Philip got on top of him and started to choke him.
The Governor gritted his teeth and stared at Y/N with murderous intent. He kept tightening his grip as Y/N tried to reach for anything around him to use. Fortunately, he found a shard of glass that came from the broken picture frame.
Y/N swiped it toward Philip's face and ended up stabbing his right eye.
SULK!
"Argh!" Philip cried out in pain.
The shard of glass broke in half and stayed in his eye. Philip got off of Y/N and fell to the floor, screaming in pain from his injury. Y/N got back to his feet, panting as he retrieved his knife.
"You motherfucker!" Philip bellowed. "I'll kill you!"
"Took the words right out of my fucking mouth." Y/N shot back and he gripped the blade.
Before he can stab Philip, the door of the apartment opened. An older blonde rushed in and had her gun drawn. Y/N only got a glimpse of this before running toward the open balcony.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Andrea fired several shots at the young man but he evaded them and started to make his way down the fire escape quickly. Once she walked out and checked, there was no sign of Y/N.
Ramon informed Erica and Liliana about what he had heard. They paced around their room and contemplated what to do. The blonde was still in shock at the possibility of her boyfriend being alive and well.
"Are you sure?" Erica asked. "You heard the man say that?"
"I know what I heard." He replied.
Erica nodded. "So he probably brought back help to take out the Governor. Good."
Both siblings were told a week ago about Liliana's situation and what Philip did to her. Erica really wanted to enact some form of revenge but was convinced not to do so yet after hearing about Y/N's disappearance. The three have been trying to plan an escape since.
"We should get to my car." Ramon said.
"What?"
"We should leave now while the guards are fighting. Maybe we can meet Y/N out there."
Erica thought about it. She looked at Liliana who was still standing by the table.
"Ramon's right. We have to go now."
"What about...what if he shows up here?" Liliana replied. "I have to wait."
"It's not safe here anymore. Philip knowing Y/N's back is gonna send him for a tailspin. He might use you to get him to stop."
The blonde heard her explanation. She nodded and her best friend continued.
"Your safety and the safety of that baby are very important to me."
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Ramon quickly took out a pistol he had in a drawer, one that nobody outside of the three knew about, and walked toward the door. He looked through the peephole...and the two women heard him chuckle.
"Quiรฉn es? (Who is it?)" Erica asked.
Ramon didn't even look back and just opened the door. On the other side was Y/N, his face bruised and shirt bloodied from his fight with Philip. The two women were in awe.
Y/N spoke. "Sorry I didn't get here sooner. Had to make a quick stop."
