chapter 09
"I don't want to see you again on the train!" Susan ran towards the Ravenclaw common room once they got off Hogwarts Express.
"I can't promise anything Pevensie!" Cedric shouted making sure she heard it, she laughed it off as she almost tripped.
"Sorry! Sorry about that I didn't mean that to happen." Susan regained her balance as Hermione Granger looked her up and down.
"Uh-huh, watch where your going Pevensie I don't need more clumsy people in my way." The Gryffindor girl scoffed and walked away with her books up to her chest.
Susan didn't mind Hermione's behavior, Susan guesses that the Gryffindor girl got in a fight with her trio or she woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
~~~
"Granger!" Susan gasped for air as Hermione Granger read her book while walking towards Great Hall for lunch.
"What is it?" Hermione asked as she continued reading.
"I was just wondering if I could sit at the Gryffindor table? Dumbledore says we have to have an invitation given by a member of that house." Susan asked as Hermione halted her reading and turned around.
"Sure but no funny business I'm studying for this upcoming test in a couple of weeks," Hermione said as she focused her attention and sat down next to the Gryffindor boy.
"Neville could you move a little to the right I'm trying to make space for Susan to sit next to me and you," Hermione asked Neville politely, he nodded and Susan sat down in between them both.
"Thanks, Neville," Susan said as the food appeared on her plate.
"Is that a muggle dish that you desired?" Neville asked as Susan looked over her shoulder noticing that Neville desired Ratatouille with a lemon crêpe.
"Yes, it is I'm pretty sure it's known a lot in Chicago in the states." Susan smiled. "It's called "Deep-Dish Pizza", it's not very healthy but I try to maintain a healthy status for myself."
"Neville isn't that French? I'm quite familiar with those things, I once read a cookbook when I was with my family last August." Hermione stopped flipping pages once she noticed Neville's food.
"Yeah, it is! My grandma and I went there two summers ago. I guess I was that hungry that I desired this." He chuckled lightly as he began eating.
Hermione nodded making sure he knew she heard him and continued to flip her pages.
"Longbottom! What do we have here? Ah, Ratatouille with a lemon crêpe." The Slytherin boy walked up to Neville. "Where's the invitation? Don't tell me you have forgotten?" Draco Malfoy spoke with a devilish smile growing on his face.
"Of course not, you may sit down at the Gryffindor table Malfoy," Neville said dryly as he wanted nothing to do with the Slytherin boy.
Once Malfoy sat down many people left not wanting to deal with Malfoys annoyance and presence. Some students stayed at the table Granger, Potter, Weasleys, Dean Thomas, Lavender Brown, and some more.
"I'm surprised a Pevensie stayed, you people always leave the trouble alone." Draco eyed Susan wanting a reaction out of her.
"Don't be that surprised Malfoy your just a lonely Slytherin causing trouble around here." Susan spoke proudly and continued to eat while Draco grew frustrated that he got up and left with his henchmen behind him.
