"Tutoring"

-"I WAS HOPING THAT YOU WOULDN'T SHOW UP." ADHARA SAID, GLARING AT HIM. Harry Potter, who just walked into the library to their table, sat down infront of her with a cheeky smile.

"That's no way to talk to your godbrother." Harry said, giving her a wink.

Adhara looked ready to murder him, "Then, it's a good thing that I don't really care. Now let's get this over with." She grumbled, angrily pulling out the books, earning a glare from the librarian.

"What's got your wand in a knot?" Harry asked, also pulling out his books but more gently.

Adhara took a few deep breathes to calm herself down. "I'm being forced to tutor the person I have hated for almost fourteen years. You tell me." She sassed.

Harry frowned slightly. "Why? Why do you hate me, Adhara?"

"I didn't give you my permission to call me by my first name, Potter."

"Very well, Black."

"Malfoy." She corrected coldly, making him gulp.

"Malfoy, it is."

"Good. Now, open page thirty-six."

"You're on your own." Adhara stated, walking out of the library, which they just got kicked out from, with Harry.

"You're joking!" He exclaimed, looking horrified, "I can't have Snape want to kill me even more than he already wants to!"

Adhara stopped walking and looked at him. "Then it's a good thing that I don't really care if you're dead."

Harry had a flash of hurt in his eyes, but it went away as soon as it came and was replaced with a gentle smile. "Please, Malfoy?"

She really wanted to say no. She really did. But the hour she just spent with him was gone way too fast, and she enjoyed it, no matter how many times she'd deny it, even if it was full of her shouting at him. "Fine. Same time, same place, next week."

Harry smiled as she walked away. "She's warming up to me." He stated and turned around, looking at the seemingly empty spot.

Sirius Black pulled off the invisibility cloak. "She called you a worthless Voldy-Goner for an hour straight."

"Exactly. Warming up to me."

"Where were you?" Draco asked as she walked into the common room.

Adhara sighed and sat down on the couch, pulling out a book. "Tutoring Potter."

Draco smirked. "How'd it go?"

"Horrible. The guy can't remember shit."

"That's Potter for you." Blaise said as he and Pansy sat down on the other couch.

"I don't even know how he defeated you-know-who. Honestly, he defeated a dark wizard and still doesn't know how many times to stir in a Potion." Pansy joined in, knowing that from seeing Potter blow up potions in every class they had with Snape.

"Tell me about it."

"How was it?" Hermione asked eagerly as Harry and Sirius walked in.

"Brilliant!" Harry exclaimed, getting a slap in the head from his godfather.

"If brilliant means: getting glared at whenever you didn't know an answer, which by the way is all the time. Getting called a worthless Voldy-Goner. And much more, then by all means, it was brilliant." Sirius explained as he sat down, rubbing his eyes due to being tired from stopping himself from strangling his godson.

"She's warming up to me!" Harry repeated, earning looks from everyone in the room.

"Son -" James started.

"Don't you dare, James." Lily tried.

He ignored her, his eyes never leaving his son, "That's brilliant!"

"Heck yeah!" Harry exclaimed, high-fiving his father.

Remus rubbed his forehead, hoping the headache would go away, since the full moon was in a few days. "What else happened, Padfoot?"

"I had to sit there and stop myself from strangling my godson for making my daughter angry on purpose. That's about it." He replied bitterly, glaring at his godson, who was smiling cheekily.

"I've got a question." Ron joined in for the first time, making everybody look at him, he looked at Remus and Sirius. "Where are your wedding rings?"

"Remus had this idea to not wear them until my daughter actually likes me and then to introduce him. Why, again?" Sirius asked his husband, who gave him an 'are you serious?' look.

Remus sighed at his husband's stupidity, "Because she already hated you. Knowing you're married will make her hate you even more, due to you leaving her mother." He said bluntly, earning looks of astonishment.

Sirius blinked a few times. "She was my girlfriend at the time, not my wife-"

"You left her either way." Hermione immediately cut him off, and shrugged when everybody looked at her.

"Padfoot," Harry started, his face turning serious. "I don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed something. She doesn't hate you. Not at all."

"Have you seen how she treats me?" Sirius cut him off, his voice breaking and his eyes slightly tearing up.

"But you haven't seen her expression when you turn around. She's hiding behind this independent persona, but she wants you so bad." Harry explained, not looking at the others who were giving him looks of awe and shock due to him not being so oblivious for once. "And I know I haven't been the only one who noticed. Her brother has noticed as well. I see it in his face whenever you walk past them or something. Sirius, she wants you. But she doesn't want to want you, y'know what I mean?"

Sirius frowned, "But why would she not want to want me?"

Hermione caught on to what Harry was trying to say and took over, "Because she feels like it'd be an insult to her mother's memory if she starts being a family with you."

"She just needs some time." Harry concluded, being smart for once.
