"Azkaban Escape"
-THE NEXT FEW MONTHS PASSED BY, AND IT WAS FINALLY SUMMER BREAK. Adhara had planned to spend the whole summer with the Malfoys instead of the Blacks and Potters.
Nothing much had changed over the few months, other than the fact that Alyssa Nott was no longer sharing a dorm with Pansy and Adhara, due to Adhara complaining about being 'uncomfortable' to Snape, who would always do whatever she would ask since she was the favorite godchild.
"How's school been?" Narcissa asked over breakfast, looking at her kids in curiosity.
"Mine was fine, but Ara's was definitely filled with drama." Draco shrugged, making Adhara roll her eyes fondly.
"Why? What happened?"
"Well, for starters, Hermione and I broke up."
Narcissa frowned. "Why?"
Her daughter merely shrugged, not giving an explanation. "Then I almost got together with some other girl-"
"-No, you didn't-" Draco whispered, while their mother was contemplating about what her daughter had said.
"Well, I'm not going to tell her that I shagged someone else, will I?" Adhara whispered back, making Draco choke on his water.
"Was she pretty?" Narcissa finally asked.
"She was a bitch."
Narcissa gave her a look because of her language, which Adhara ignored and started a conversation with Draco.
"Lucius? What's wrong?" Narcissa questioned, only now noticing his frowning husband, who was looking at the daily prophet in his hands.
Lucius didn't answer, merely giving her the daily prophet.
'AZKABAN ESCAPE!
The Lestranges and Barty Crouch Junior, (all death eaters caught in the first wizarding war), escaped a few days ago! The dementors said that they didn't even notice-'
Narcissa stopped reading, sharing an alarmed look with his husband.
The two Malfoy heirs, who both noticed the silence, both snatched the daily prophet.
Adhara's eyes widened with shock. "They're after Harry, aren't they?" She concluded after a minute of tense silence.
Lucius nodded. "Yes. Ara, you must not go there anytime soon or something might happen to you too-"
But he stopped when his daughter rushed out of the room. Draco immediately stood up and rushed after her.
"What are you doing?!" asked Draco, looking alarmed.
Adhara pulled out two daggers from her purse, giving him a look. "What does it look like I'm doing, dragon?"
"Ara, they're definitely alright-"
"No. They're not." Adhara interrupted, putting her dagger in her shoe. "They haven't gotten my letters. They just kept coming back."
She pointed to her black owl, who had a few letters in his beak. "He couldn't find them. I didn't think much of it, but now.."
"I'm coming."
"No way."
"Ara, I'm not letting you go after four murderers alone! Plus, they might have Harry."
"Dragon, this is our aunt." Adhara pointed out. "We both know you'd never give up family. Not even for love."
"Well, I'm not only doing it for Harry! I don't want anything happening to you! You're more important than an aunt who was never even in our life!"
"Draco," Adhara said sternly, making him stop. "I'm doing this alone. I'll be fine, I promise."
"Ara-" Draco tried, but his sister had already flood out of the manor, so he couldn't even leave, not knowing the exact address of the Potter and Black manor.
"Harry?!" Adhara shouted, walking out of the fireplace.
Her godbrother rushed into the living room, looking panicked. "Addie?" He asked in shock.
"Fucking hell, I thought I had lost you." Adhara glared at him, pulling him into a hug.
Harry stilled in shock, then hugged back. "Do you care for me?" He teased.
"Of course not!" Adhara immediately denied and pulled away. "Where are the others?"
"That's what I'm wondering myself," Harry admitted. "Hermione, who was visiting for a week, isn't here anymore. Nor are my dad, my mum, and Sirius. Remus is upstairs in his bedroom. He said he had spent the full moon alone last night. His scratches were horrible." He shook his head in pity, then continued. "I healed him as much as I could and gave him a sleeping potion. He's fast asleep."
"Does he know anything?"
"No. I didn't even tell him. I didn't want to worry him."
"Right.." Adhara nodded understandingly, eyes widening when she suddenly pieced the puzzle. "Oh my Merlin! They've captured them to get information about you."
"Who?"
"The Lestranges and Crouch." She started pacing. "Where would four runaway ex-deatheaters be?"
"Their manor..?" replied Harry uncertainly.
"No, that's too simple. However.. they've got-" her head snapped up.
Harry watched as his godsister started mumbling to herself. He sat down on the couch, the possibilities endlessly running through his mind, but he was known for making jokes at the worst possible time, so that's what he did.
"I'm supposed to sit down and be the dumb silenced idiot, while you figure this out, right?"
"Precisely." Adhara replied, and started mumbling again.
About a few minutes later, Adhara stopped. "I've got it. The Lestranges have many manors. There is absolutely no way that they'd be in London, since dementors are searching for them everywhere. That means, they've got to be in.. Paris or America. However, since Bellatrix is a Black, and us Blacks are technically french.. there's a higher chance they're in Paris. The Lestranges have 3 manors in Paris-"
"How do you even know that?!" Harry asked in shock and awe.
"Mother and I always visited the manors, checking in on the house-elves. Bellatrix is her sister, so mother had to make sure the Lestrange manors were always perfect, just in case."
Harry nodded, acting like it made sense. "Carry on."
"Right." Adhara nodded, and continued. "The Lestranges have 3 manors there. They are more modern rather than traditional.. so that crosses one of the manors out, since it was one of the first Lestrange manors.."
"Yes." Harry simply nodded along, not knowing what else to do.
"And they're highly dramatic.."
Harry snorted at that, but kept quiet.
"That's it." Adhara finished. "I've got it. They're at their 4-floor manor, which has 3 different dungeons for prisoners."
Harry gawked at the fact that she actually solved it. ".. Are you a bloody detective?!"
"Hold my hand, Harry. It's the only way you can get there, since only I and the rest of the Malfoys have access to the manor." Adhara said, not answering his question. She grabbed a handful of floo powder and shouted a location, Harry holding her hand.
