Two days after the bomb threat.

You said to everybody you were fine, that they didn't need to worry, but inside you knew it wasn't like that.

You'd still feel nervous, everytime you were alome you'd remember everything that happened, the bomb in your hands, the people screaming, the suspense of cutting the wire, the idea of dying there.

Everyting still seemed unreal. You felt vulnerable, weak and afraid. You hated that. You hated to feel that and pretend everything's okay, but you were used to that, you've been doing that all your life. Why bother anyone about it?

You tried to stay with the Avengers to avoid all the thoughts, try to jave someone talking to make your mind busy, dive into piles of unecessary work just to avoid the memories.

At lunch you sat with Wanda, Steve and even if he wasn't eating, Vision was there too.

-Wanda do it again-You chuckled.

-Alright alright- She grabbed the 4 nugget on her plate and positioned them close to each other. Then, used her powers, the small red lighters started spinning around her fingers, them landed on the the nuggets, putting two of them like "arms" and other two like "legs", then moved the making it spme sort of dance.

Steve  and you laughed hard as Wanda gave a bright smile.

-Ok now it's over- She lifted the nuggets, grabbed with her hand and put everything on her mouth eating it.

-Noo! Your monster you killed Vision Jr !-You joked.

Wanda looked at Vision, his face confused, then she wheezed laughing.

Steve put some tooth pick in his nugget, like a little doll creating a body.

-We should keep this little guy away from her too-He joked and Wanda chuckled.

-What's the name of your kid with Steve Y/N?

-Our kid?-You laughed- This is Stephanie.

Wanda laughed:

-Why?

-It's the femine version of Steve.

Wanda almost read your mind and gave you a "girl we can go now if you want" look.

But instead you said:

-No, have a seat with us.

Bucky nodded like saying thanks, then slowly sat by Vision's side. The table suddenly turned quiet.

-So...-Steve tried to make things get a little lighter- I haven't seen you these days, what were you doing Bucky.

Bucky holded his fork at his hands and started playing with his food, like he had no apetite:

-Just...I don't know, living this shit life.-He said raking his sight of the food.

-Language boy- Steve chuckled to break the tension- Don't say that, life is quite good. Isn't it right...um...Vision?

-Y/N are you okay??-Steve who was by your side got worried and put a hand on your shoulder.

You caught your breath again.

-Y-Yeah *cough* I'm alright, just a scare.-You said to him. Then glanced at Bucky, who was still staring.

-You must've done something really bad to make her abandon you.-Wanda said sharply to him.

-She didn't abandon me.-He gave a fierce look- I know I did something bad. And I regret it. But she never abandoned me, she's a good person.

-Wait who are we talking about? Who is she?-Steve said confused.

Wanda facepalmed.

-Uh...Oh! Look at the time! I have work to do!-You made a lame excuse and got up from the table- Good seeing you all! I need to go!

You left in a hurry.

You entered your office. Phew. That was weird. Was he really sorry though? He actualy seemed...But why didn't he say then?

-Y/N.-Bucky said and you closed the door again.

He sqeezed your hand tight, you looked at the florr for a second, thinming of what to do. You cared about Bucky, your feelings for him weren't erased, you felt betrayeld, but still...He was important to you.

He gave a surprised but glad smile and hugged you.

You embraced him back, you missed him, his smile, his sarcastic jokes, his flrity style, his heroic and caring character.

He looked at you, as you wondered what he was thinking as his eyes glowed looking at your face.

He got closer and gsve you a kiss, a long one, one that you saw that he has been missing. A special and memorable one. You parted and you smiled shy.

-I love you.-He said chuckling and hugged you again.

The next few weeks were quite peaceful, Bucky was always keeping you company, so you wouldn't think about bombs, danger, Hydra, or anything. It was just him. But he didn't completely changed, you'd often see him complaining about your job or Stark, but he never stopped you from doing your work or talk with other people again. Maybe it would change by time, he couldn't just be different from night to day...Right? But still, you had hope.

Besides the fact that you'd never be able to leave Manuel and Sarah, you loved them so much, maybe the only love you had certain you had.

Those thoughts would come and leave you with many doubts everytime. You closed your eyes, tried cleaning your mind, then, looked at Bucky, having a cute face sleeping like a kitty, and tried to rest.

You had thought too much, you needed to enjoy that precious moment with him by your side.

Because we people don't cherish or appreciate those moments and feeling until we loose them.

And then it's too late.
