Rin Okumura didn't know if you needed saving after he heard your screams ceased. Knowing the cold blood curdling screams you let out before and seeing a bunch of blue light illuminating from a spot in the forest, that could only mean one thing in his head: you had fallen unconscious. 

This motivated the son of Satan more as his pace quickened up and his facial expression darkened. The only sounds that could lead him to where you were was the sound of loud impacts on the earth and the sounds of sparks like from a fire or electricity. 

Once he got to the place, he shouted, "[Y/N]!" but you were nowhere to be seen. The corpse of a lightening cage with a broken wall lay on the ground untouched by anybody. You were gone, and he couldn't see her.

"Okumura, get out of the way!" Your voice shouted towards him.

The Demon boy jumped out of the way as you plunged your fist into an unknown person's stomach. It was a girl with charcoal black hair with a chestnut tint to it, porcelain skin, a crooked nose, and her eyes weren't seen by Rin as they were shut. 

The first thought that ran through his mind was that you had snapped and the Demon was controlling you just like he had gone through when his blade got chipped. The girl laying limp on the ground marked with burns, cuts, scratches, bruises, and blood seemed lifeless if it wasn't for the three words she spoke.

"Join or die!" The girl made out.

"I know what you're going to say, [Y/N], so don't bother faking it!" The voice of Claudia emerged from the fog that was created on its own.

Rin put a defending hand in front of you almost like he wanted you to get behind it. "Get behind me, [Y/N]!"

You looked over at Rin. Was he going to protect you from your cousin? He drew his sword ready to fight Claudia. You had never seen him with his blue flames before, and honestly, you were a little scared. 

Granted, anyone in this situation would be scared. You were supposed to join a cause you didn't think was right or die as a resignation.

"Rin, don't." You whispered to him.

He turned to you his eyes asking you what you were going to do. He already knew what you were planning, but he had to make sure of it. You just shook your head at him. You didn't want him to protect you if someone came here to kill you. You couldn't get anyone hurt if it was all you.

"Rin, let me handle it!" You exclaimed.

Rin Okumura watched as you took your sword still in its sheath. You had never taken it out, and you weren't going to start now. Claudia's mouth turned upward into a sneer. You closed your eyes picturing what you had to do. 

Defeat Claudia and rid her of her lightning once and for all. Your imagining changed the picture to the event that killed your family. Blood everywhere. Their sad, scared, lifeless faces. He was the only one alive.

"Why did you kill us? Why would you kill your own family? It doesn't make any sense! Why us? What did we every do to you?!?" He fell limped to the ground.

You opened up your eyes, and Claudia could see the monster behind them. This didn't terrify her like you wanted it to. You wanted to intimidate the person in front of you, but it looked like you were failing. 

"As long as you're here, there isn't a person in the world who would want to save you. As long as Zeus has an offspring, a Hades demon is the weakest of them all. A mutt like you is hard to come by. So," Claudia smirked, "let's have some fun with this." 

Claudia charged at you wielding her celestial bronze kitanna like it wasn't ridiculously heavy. You jumped out of the way only to be met with a bolt of lightning zapping you in the leg. A burn spiraled down your leg. 

You hissed at the sensation of the stinging lightning. But still. You continued with your flip onto the the back of your cousin. How could you call her your cousin if she's going to want to kill you every chance she gets! 

Your hands ignited with fire. Yet, you didn't use them. You couldn't use them. yet. Claudia turned around ready to throw lightning at you. It looked like she was going to throw her lightning at you. That wasn't the case though. 

She started to slam her kitanna down on you, but you blocked it with your sword. Your sword's blade was always sheathed and no one knew why. Claudia saw your fire switch colors faster than a blink of the eye. 

She couldn't keep up with your fire's changing of its color. She swung her kitanna at you, and you blocked it. Wait. Shouldn't both of your hands  be turned to ash right now? The moment you thought of that, Claudia saw her moment and kicked you in the stomach. 

You fell over onto the ground doing a flip in the process. Claudia's blade came straight down, but yours still blocked it.  You thought you knew your cousin the best, but that was not the case. She betrayed you, but she was still the girl you believed was your friend and your family. 

You believed even if she had changed to the dark, then maybe, you would still know her weakness. Playing with her when you were younger in the sand box, she hated it when the hot sand touched her skin, but that wasn't her weakness. 

Her weakness was her fear of appearing to be weak to others.

"You're still Claudia. You're still the girl who is afraid." This caught your cousin off guard.

"How would you know how I feel? You're nothing, but an overgrown knat waiting to be squashed." Claudia sneered.

"You're still the girl in the sandbox that didn't appear as soft as the sand when others were around. You're still afraid, so you're trying to show up, Akemi!" You said.

She stopped, and you found your opening punching her in the gut and tipping her over. You got off the ground and she got off. Your blades made contact with one another, and she marvelled at the skill you had with it. 

One minute you used it with ease while the other you seemed to butcher the air. You hadn't even drawn the sword from its sheath and you were this powerful. Your fire swirled around you as Claudia's lightning did the same to her. 

No distance had been made for both of you. A line was made at some point and whoever could cross it would be victorious. You saw her eyesight move to something behind you. You had almost forgotten about the son of Satan, Rin, standing behind you.

Her lightning cackled and you only had a moment's notice before it came striking at Rin. Almost on pure instinct, you threw yourself in the way of Rin and the bolt. You screamed as the electricity seemed to move around your body suffocating the oxygen in your veins. 

The electricity twirled around your veins to your heart. With a single strike, your heart seemed to dissolve. Not your actual heart, but the one that kept your morals tucked away and your emotions balanced. Claudia had awakened a monster.

It was like targeting Rin had dissolved a lock to a vault. Your eyes with one entirely black and the air with the iris as red as can be. Your ears turned into spikes and the fire around you had spiked up tenfold. 

You closed your eyes as Claudia took a step backwards and you started reciting.

"To the great depths of hell and to the great heights of the sum, bring me your fire. Your ultraviolet rays of fire, your hellfire, your wildfire. Give me it and tonight the fire rages on beating lightning in its tracks. Create the hellblazer in all its glory." The pyromancer spell was difficult to remember, but you did.

The fire switched from its natural color of purple to a dark color that was slowly turning the color of black. The fire seemed to roar at the Zeus demon standing in front. Claudia kept moving back, and every one could clearly tell she was afraid.

"Now, ignite the gods' sword and swallow your enemy. Fotià!" The fire came to your sheathed sword and you charged the demon in front of you.

Her Kitanna was fast, but the power of the Fotià spell was almost overpowering. Your movements fit perfectly with your weapon as you brought everything to this. Your sword slashed and stabbed at the Demon attacking you. 

Your sword brought down and Claudia screamed at that. The hellblazer drifted off and she went tumbling down. You looked over at Rin who wore a scared expression. You smiled at him before falling onto the ground unconscious. 

In that moment, he forgot about how terrified he was of you and ran towards you. "Someone help!" He shouted and he brought your figure into his arms. You were cold, bruised, cut, burnt, and bloody. 

He didn't know what to do, and he kept shouting for help hoping someone could hear. What he didn't know was that someone who was important to you heard and alerted his brother and his teacher.
