It has come to our attention through a Wattpadian, ofcleopatras (Thank you for spreading the word) that April 24th, as claimed by a group of men, will be known as National Rape Day. 

Newsweek describes this as, "According to users, a group of men has declared April 24 a "national day" for carrying out rape and sexual assault. It's not clear where the trend originated or exactly who is responsible for beginning it."

They also state that on April 24th, many young girls and women will be raped. 

This is inhumane and just atrocious. But first, we need to stay safe. Please don't go out on April 24th, or at least, bring your phone and come with a couple of friends if you are planning to go out. Have 911 on Speed Dial. Download a Rape Prevention App. 

We need to spread the word, unite, and stop this insanity. Please tag your friends and followers. As girls and women (and non-binary people), we need to stay safe. And make a stand for equality.
