"To have lived a lie your whole life."

Davina, Freya, and Bonnie were working day and night for the past 3 days but they were running out of time. Everyone was anxious and depressed.

Caroline has been trying to keep everyone calm for the past few days but she herself was getting overwhelmed and scared. But she also had been thinking. She knew her sister. Camilla knew she was going to die, there was no way she didn't leave some type of letter or goodbye video somewhere. She wouldn't die and not give her kids closure.

Caroline searched her whole bedroom while her sister lies still on the bed like she had been for the past couple of days. She huffs in exhaustion after searching her whole room. She looks towards her sisters figure and narrows her eyes.

Caroline walks into her office and searches the whole room top to bottom. "Argh!" She yells kicking her book shelf.

A book falls forwards and the whole shelf swings open like a door. Caroline's mouth is agape staring at the door. Why the hell would her sister have this?

She walks into the room warily and is shocked. It's a large modern room with tables and shelves everywhere one white board is filled with Kai's riddle and Caroline is shocked to see that her final guess was that she had another child.

The other side of the room is everything she knew about the merge that the twins would eventually have to go through unless they found a solution.

A table in the center of the room with a crisp white letter grabs Caroline's attention. She walks closer and sees a remote that's says 'press play!'

She presses play and a projector pops out and scares Caroline. Her sisters face pops up on the blank wall and it brings tears to Caroline's eyes.

"Hello Caroline." Her sister says softly, Caroline's eyes widen. "Don't freak out I knew you would be the one who got curious and snooped through my stuff." Caroline laughs softly.

"If you're watching this I'm either dead or close to it." Camilla nods her head in the video trying to find her words. " These past couple of days I've found something out. Or atleast I think I'm right. If I am, I have another child. I have no idea who it could be. But if you happen to find out who it is read the letter infront of them and everyone else. I love you forever. Goodbye." She says moving to turn off the camera.

Caroline's eyes soaked with tears as she opens the letter. She begins skimming it and her heart breaks. When she gathers the courage she goes to find hope. She doesn't want to read the letter for anyone unless she knows they won't find a solution.

Meanwhile Hope finally got Lizzie and Josie distracted and snuck into camillas room when no one was in there. She closes the door quietly and slowly walks towards her newfound mom.

"Hey mom." Hope whispers with tears leaking out. "Um. I don't really know what to say besides all of my siblings hate me." She sadly chuckles.

"I feel like something was stolen from me. A childhood with 4 siblings, other uncles and aunts I could've had. A more loving mother." She takes a deep breath and kneels next to Camilla.

"I also know you would've never let dad move to New Orleans, so my family wouldn't have had to go through so much trouble to protect me. Because I mean who would need protection when you have someone like you as a mother or Damon to beat someone up." She laughs through the tears.

"I just feel like, I could've been this whole different person with a whole different life, you know? And I don't even know if you'll care for me, I mean who wants a kid who's been raised by your cheating ex fiancé and his one night stand."

By this time Caroline's searched everywhere and realizes there was one place she hadn't looked.

"I-I don't know what to do. I feel like you won't want me. And you may never even get the chance to tell me unless you wake up. So p-please wake up. Please tell me you don't hate me. Please tell me you love me, just do something!" Hope sobs.

Caroline hearing the last part sighs sadly and walks in and engulfs hope into a hug on the ground. After Hope calms down a bit she says, "You know she does love you?"

Hope lifts her head with a doubtful face and shakes her head. "She doesn't even know I'm her kid, and I doubt she'd want me."

Caroline grabs the letter out the inside of her jacket and hands it to Hope who looks at her confused. "I didn't want anyone to read this until we know for sure that there is no cure. But I think you need it now. She would want you to read it. Bottom paragraph on the last page."

After Caroline leaves the room Hope slowly opens the letter going to the correct spot.

To the loves of my lives,

I recently found out I might have another child. Believe me it was the biggest shock of my life other than becoming pregnant with the twins. I tried figuring it out, who it was. But I didn't have enough time. If you find them then let them know this. Although you may have been taken away from me before I even met you, you're still mine. I love you as much as I love my other loves. I don't know what kind of childhood you lived but I regret not being there for it all. Your first steps, words, even your first bath. Wherever death takes me you'll always have a piece of me in your heart.

Hope sobs into Camilla's bedside and says "Thank you, thank you so much. I love you too. Just wake up."

Caroline finds Klaus walking towards the basement when she stops him.

"Yes Caroline?" He sighs not in the mood to deal with her hatred for him.

"Camilla wrote a letter." She says simply.

"Anyone who knows her knows she would." He says sadly looking away.

"I haven't shared it with anyone but Hope until we know for sure..." he cuts her off abruptly.

"Why would you share it with hope?" He asks confused.

"She's having a hard time. I caught her in camillas room crying, she thinks that cami won't love her and won't want her." She sighs. "But that's not why I'm here."

"So why are you here?" He asks confused.

"In cami's letter she talked about you." She says as klaus' face lightens a bit. " One of the things she said was that she wants you to at least try to bond with Jace." He deflates a bit.

"I can't." He says making her face screw up in anger.

"What do you mean you can't! He's your son!" She yells frustrated.

"He hates me caroline." He says rolling his eyes to cover up his true emotions.

"Need I remind you with good reasons. You broke his moms heart, you abandoned her as a single mother, you might've not have known but you still did it. And you haven't even tried to talk to him!" She says throwing her hands up.

"Okay. Okay. I'll try." He says trying to calm the blonde down. "But right now we have a prisoner downstairs, care to join?" He says smirking evilly. Caroline stares at him in confusion before realization dawns upon her.

"I would but I need to check on the twins, give her hell." She says walking away.

Caroline's walking through the hall when she hears Bonnie screaming her name. She turns around seeing her frantic face.

"What's wrong?! Is Cami oka-" she gets cut off as Bonnie practically yells.

"I think we found a solution!" With hope in her eyes.
