MUST HAVE BEEN DEADLY

MOTHER

Aryss was grateful that by the time her children returned to their regular lives she felt Ajak's death. She didn't even see it coming nor did she see how it happened but she knew her daughter was dead. That night she cried all night. She told her kids she would be going out of town to take care of somethings but she returned home.

To where she first lived for a couple thousand years when she first arrived to this earth. She removed the illusion and walked inside. Even though she no longer lived there her and Tony would have some vacations or days of there. They had many pictures and paintings. She saw the last Christmas photo she had of her kids and her husband. She made her way to the last floor where all of her hidden treasures were.

As she walked into the room, right at the end of the wall was a big portrait. It had Aryss first family, the eternals. She brushed her hand on Ajak's picture as she did that her hand moved towards Gilgamesh's and she let out another cry. He was gone too. She felt angry for not seeing when or how it was happening. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Thena remembered her. "I know someone who can help" she spoke for the first time. "Who?" Ikaris asked. Thena gave him a look, but she remembered he wouldn't remember her. Neither of them would.

"She's... an old friend" she replied. "You have friends?" Kingo asked and she rolled her eyes. "I know where we can find her" everyone followed her. Hours later they arrived at the house. Thena and the Eternals could see someone sitting down, or rather floating in the air. They could make out the red hair.

"It's her?" Sprite whispered and Thena nodded with a smile. The Eternal managed to contact Arishem. "Ah, Aryss. You've returned home at last" Aryss glared at the man. "Why?" she asked. The Eternals could hear everything she was saying but they assumed she was talking to herself but Thena knew who she was talking to. "She was trying to stop fate" he replied and she scoffed. "It was necessary, it was a sacrifice that had to be made" he added which made her angrier.

"My daughter is gone. Okay? Gone!" she replied. "She gone. Was she collateral damage?" she asked him. No one understood what was happening. "Was my husband collateral damage too? Natasha?" she asked. "You and I both know the reason for Thanos' snap five years ago" she added. "It needs to happen. You know this. Why are you changing now?!" he asked. "People I love and care about live in this world. And trust me, I'll kill that new Celesti if I have to, Arishem. And you out of everyone know that I am more than capable of doing so" as she felt the Eternals approaching she opened her eyes.

"Thena. I knew you come find me" she wasn't even looking at Ikaris nor Druig but her daughter. "I- I..." Thena was on the verge of tears when her mother hugged her. "My warrior" she whispered but they all heard. For the first time everyone saw Thena cried. She never cried with Ajak or Gilgamesh. She only cried in the arms of her mother. "Who are you?" Ikaris finally spoke. Aryss was forced to look at him. "This is Aryss" Thena began. "My mother" to say they were all shocked would've been an understatement.
