In the quiet of midnight, Jungkook stirred, thirst pulling him from slumber. As he padded to the kitchen for water, hushed voices reached his ears—the familiar tones of Vmin, discussing secrets in the moonlit darkness.

"Jimin hyung," Taehyung began, his voice low, "we can't keep this hidden anymore." Jimin nodded, his gaze dropping. "I know, Tae," he whispered, "but Jungkook is already avoiding us." His vision blurred, caught in regret.

Jimin’s words hung heavy in the moonlit room. "What if he hates us when he finds out the truth?" he mused, his voice a fragile thread. Jungkook, eavesdropping from the shadows, felt curiosity gnaw at him. What truth? What had Vmin done?

Taehyung’s response cut through the silence. "He deserves to know," he said, conviction lacing his words. "We killed his step-parents because they abused him like that." Jimin's nod was both agreement and burden, and he buried his face in the pillow, as if shielding himself from the weight of their actions.

Jungkook's eyes widened in realization—the truth crashing over him like a tidal wave. Vmin, the two he'd avoided, had taken lives—but not as heartless mafias. It was for justice, for him. Regret gnawed at his insides. They were the ones who'd brought him life, who'd tried every way possible to make him happy.

Yet he'd pushed them away, blinded by misunderstanding. Now, in the quiet of the night, he grappled with forgiveness and redemption.

Jungkook’s footsteps echoed through the empty hallway as he fled into his room. The weight of truth bore down on him—Vmin, the boys he’d pushed away, were not heartless killers.

Regret clawed at his chest, and he sank onto his bed, replaying every missed opportunity, every cold shoulder.

The next morning, Jungkook rose from his bed, bleary-eyed and heart heavy with regret. As he stepped into the living room, he found Jimin hunched over a pile of paperwork. The room smelled of freshly brewed coffee—a comforting scent that had become synonymous with their shared solitude.

It had been days since Vmin had set foot in their office, their lives now revolving around Jungkook's well-being. Jimin glanced up, eyes tired but warm. "Morning, Kook," he said softly. "Sleep well?" Jungkook nodded, unable to find words. There, in the quiet of their makeshift home, he realized that sometimes sacrifices were made out of love, not duty.

Jimin’s eyes widened imperceptibly as Jungkook responded—a simple acknowledgment, but a seismic shift. Weeks of silence had given way to this fragile connection. He masked his surprise, focusing on the paperwork before him. Perhaps, just perhaps, their makeshift home held the promise of healing.

Jungkook quietly approached Jimin, settling down beside him. The single word—"Hyung"—escaped his lips, leaving Jimin both happy and pleasantly surprised.

Jimin’s affectionate touch spoke volumes. "Yes, bunny.." he murmured, ruffling Jungkook’s hair gently. His hand settled on Jungkook’s shoulder, a silent promise of support.

Jungkook's voice trembled as he whispered, "I'm sorry." He pulled Jimin into a tight embrace, tears escaping his eyes. Jimin, surprised yet relieved, held him back, their shared pain bridging the gap. Taehyung, sensing the raw emotion, stepped closer, concern etching his features. In that fragile moment, their bond transcended words—a silent promise of healing and forgiveness.

Jimin's panic echoed in his voice. "Why, Kookie?" he asked, seeing Jungkook cry like this. Taehyung, concerned, stepped closer. "What happened, Jungkook-ah?" Jungkook clung to them both, hugging his brothers tightly.

Taehyung's gentle touch comforted Jungkook. "Aww Kookie," he murmured, ruffling Jungkook's hair. "Tell hyungie... What happened?" Jimin's concerned gaze mirrored Taehyung's, both brothers ready to listen and offer solace.

Jungkook released the hugs and confessed to Taehyung and Jimin. He explained how he had mistaken them for criminals when, in reality, they acted for justice and for his sake. He apologized for ignoring them as if they were never there..

"Aigoo, my baby, that's okay.." Jimin chuckled, watching Jungkook wipe away his tears. Their laughter echoed in the room, a healing balm for wounds that had lingered too long.

Three of them embraced tightly, their hearts healing in the warmth of that shared moment.
