Korea, Seoul; 7:35 pm

"Quiet!" Yelled the man in the mask

"Please don't kill us"
"My kids would be waiting for me"
"My mom is in the hospital, please let me go"

"I SAID SILENCE!!" he yelled again, this time way louder

The man turned around as he gave everyone a piercing look which almost all avoided, except of one who stared back with the same intensity. 

"Hey, you in the white jacket. You don't look so scared. Looks like you're pretty brave" the second man in the black mask said while picking the boy from his collar.

"Aye look at this brat! He has some guts to not answer us." said the third one

"That's because I don't feel like giving you an answer you idiots." He sneered

"What did you call us?" One of them asked, aiming the gun to his head.

"You heard me you asshole!" He spat as he kicked one of them in the stomach and bringing him in front of him as protection. He pulled out his gun and shot one of three thieves in the arm and then in the leg.

He aimed the gun at the only thief standing.

"Jaemin, let them in" he spoke into his earpiece as he shot the last person in the leg, causing him to fall. Within minutes the police entered and started to escort all the people out.

"Get them too," he said as he released the thief from his grip.

"Nice thinking, going in as a captive," said Jaemin.

"I know, thanks," he said as he and his partner Jaemin went down the stairs.

"You wanna get boba?" He asked as they arrive in their car. "Obviously Haechan! You know I love boba" he beamed as he sat on the passenger seat.

"Amasvin it is then" signed Haechan as he turned on the engine.

8:40 pm

"At last! I was wondering where you were" a tall, blonde-haired man spoke as Haechan entered the building labeled as the KSI headquarters.

"Nothing Chanyeol, I just helped the police in catching some thieves." He answered as he went towards the lift along with his mentor. 

"Well then, you have perfect timing. You asked me if I had any job for you after the Daegu case. I do! If you're up for being a bodyguard" said Chanyeol as he pressed the 36th-floor button.

"Bodyguard!? You want me to be a bodyguard?" He blurted out.

"Haechan I know this is not one of the best jobs here in KSI but-" 

"But what?" He shouted, "I get the point that you care for me but that doesn't mean that you give me small jobs like protecting a 5-year-old!!!" Haechan shouted as the elevator stopped

As soon as the doors opened, he stomped outside towards his room and locked the door.

*knock knock*

"I don't wanna talk to you Chanyeol!" 

Haechan signed and stood up, opening the door and allowing Jaemin in. "I heard what your dad was saying" he cautiously spoke

"I don't wanna talk about it" he answered rudely, bringing the debate to an end as he sank his head in his shoulders. "And he is not my dad."

"Look Haechan, " Jaemin said as he sat beside him on his bed "we are getting a job. Maybe it's not that fun but it is still a job."

He rested his hand on Haechan's shoulder, "I heard that she has been getting death threats plus she is the daughter of the Kang family"

Haechan raised his head "Do you mean the owners of Kang Technologies?"

"Yeah, her name is Y/N-" 

"That's why!!" Haechan growled as he stood up. "Chanyeol knows them! That's why he wants me to be her bodyguard!" He snorted as he looked out the window

"Hey, do a favor on the old man. He is your father nevertheless" Jaemin spoke as he stood up.

"Why should I?" He asked. "And I told you he is not my father!"

"He did take care of you after your parents died." Jaemin said in a convincing tone.

"It's just gonna be a favor then," Haechan said as he looked towards Jaemin. "I can live with that" he smiled as he headed towards the door. "I will tell Chanyeol that you agreed to do the job"

"Tell him that it's just a favor," said Haechan

"Okay," he partially yelled as he closed the door, leaving the room.

"Just a favor"
